Rumor has it, director Christopher Nolan is considering a total IMAX approach to shoot the entire third chapter of his caped crusader's series.

AceShowbiz - "Batman 3", the possible follow-up to "The Dark Knight", has been hit with another rumor as words are circulating that IMAX cameras will play important role in the filming of the third film in director Christopher Nolan's Batman series. Ain't It Cool News (AICN) suggested the possibility in its recent report.

"The THIRD chapter of Christopher Nolan's Caped Crusader's saga could very well be FULLY shot in IMAX," so wrote AICN, further stressing, "not IMAX Digital - but the beautiful, stunning IMAX that we saw pieces of THE DARK KNIGHT in." The site also claimed that Nolan was likely to take "Inception" under his wings "to create a few new IMAX cameras made to his specs".

Beside this IMAX rumor, another speculation related to the film's casting news has been brought forth by The Sun. According to the British tabloid, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" beauty Megan Fox has signed up to play Catwoman. The rumor placed Fox among the actresses linked to the role, that include Angelina Jolie and Rachel Weisz.

Ever since "The Dark Knight" blew up in the box office and collected awards, talks of a follow-up movie have been circulating around. So far, nothing has been set in stone for "Batman 3". Christopher Nolan is yet to commit to the possible project despite thoughts that he will return to his helming position after finishing "Inception". Speculations were also hot on who will play the possible villains on "Batman 3", naming several A-listers from Johnny Depp to Angelina Jolie.
