Paramore tease what to expect from their 'Ignorance' music video, which will be outed on August 13, in a short snippet.

AceShowbiz - A short clip of Paramore's upcoming music video which is shot to support their brand new single "Ignorance" has been unveiled. It features the band performing the song in an indoor place with their lead singer Hayley Williams holding a light bulb. The full-length video is scheduled to be premiered on Thursday, August 13 on all MTV platforms.

"Ignorance" is the lead single from Paramore's new studio album "Brand New Eyes". This track was showcased live for the first time at MTV Unplugged on June 25 and has been dropped for digital download since July 7.

Commenting on what the song deals with, Hayley recently told Kerrang!, "In my eyes, this song is a huge turning point for the band. The truth of it is, growing up is not easy. We're five different people who have to work towards the same goal on a daily basis. There were a lot of times when I felt really alone or angry or insecure."

"I don't always feel good at confronting people, especially people that I love, like these guys. Sometimes it takes songs to get the point across. The song is from one person's perspective. It's unfair that I'm the one who gets to talk about it but it helped me a lot. The line 'ignorance is your new best friend' is about how I felt I was losing people, and I think the band did too."

"Brand New Eyes" itself is confirmed to arrive across America on September 29. This effort will go head to head with Breaking Benjamin's "Dear Agony", Bowling for Soup's "Sorry for Partyin'" and Alice in Chains' "Black Gives Way to Blue", all of which will be released in U.S. on the same day.
