Avril Lavigne has started working on her new studio album for quite some time, and she plans to drop it across United States on November 17, according to Entertainment Weekly. "It just happened," she told the publication. "I made a record without even feeling like I made a record."
While no title has been confirmed for this studio project, two songs which are likely to be featured in the album were showcased to the publication during the interview in Arvil's home studio in Tarzana, California. The two tracks are called "Everybody Hurts" and "Darlin'".
"My new world right now is 'balance'," Avril said of the effort. "Work hard, play hard. Maybe that should be the album cover: Work Hard, Play Hard ... B****." She continued, "I was always really honest in my lyrics. I think more so when I was younger, and now it's kind of come back to that. Just like, you know what? I'm not trying to write a perfect pop song. I'm just trying to write a song that's honest right now, even if something sounds weird or a lyric might not make sense to someone."
A commentary toward Avril's upcoming record was also given by her husband Deryck Whibley, who is the lead vocalist of band Sum 41. "I think this is taking the spirit of what she's done on previous records so much further," he stated to Entertainment Weekly. "It's way more meaningful, has more of an impact, more emotional. It makes me feel something more than the other stuff. And I wanted to match that musically with the track."

Ive only ever been a fan of the 1st album. I think her musics been top reguardless of which road she decides to go down. Every1 goes on about how shes changing from what she is now, but can we all think back to 'girlfriend' she ditched the guitar for dancing. Every1 commented on how she changed then, but didnt we all get used to it in the end, well get used to it again. True fans follow the artist and love the artist no matter what they look like, sound like or do. Oh and 1 last thing what the hell does weight have to do with it? Jesus people grow up!
