Hard at work to establish a career in music industry, Susan Boyle is said to have already recorded the first song off her planned debut album. She received help from music mogul Simon Cowell and his team.
"She sounds fantastic on record," Simon confirmed in a statement. "She's so good, the album is not just going to be show tunes. We're going to take our time with this." Though so, there has been no word shared with the press on what the record will be called and when it will be made available in the market.
Susan Boyle, who finished second in the "Britain's Got Talent" final, found it hard to deal with her newfound fame. The pressure of being in the spotlight forced her to be hospitalized in May for what was cited as emotional breakdown. After being discharged from hospital, she joins the "Britain's Got Talent" tour. She is currently performing across the U.K.

Her 4 day hospitalization was NOT cited as an emotional breakdown, it was exhaustion. Probably due to the non-stop vile tabloids for 7 weeks and all the pressure. I'd think that would take it's toll on anyone. Is that going to be mentioned in every article about Susan for the rest of her life? She did 22 of the 26 shows on the tour. Not bad for someone that was under no obligation to do any of them.
