Inside Miranda Cosgrove's Sweet 16 Birthday Party

Turning 16 years old on Thursday, May 14, Miranda Cosgrove hosted a late birthday celebration on Saturday night, May 16 at Siren Studios nightclub in Los Angeles. She was joined at the bash by some of her celebrity friends, including Dylan Sprouse, Cole Sprouse, Keke Palmer, Nathan Kress, and Jennette McCurdy.

A cupcake tower from Crumbs and a performance from "Love Song" singer Sara Bareilles were among the surprises that the birthday girl got during the feast. On top of all, she received an enviable gift from Nickelodeon, which was a customized acoustic Gibson guitar.

"I was a little nervous coming in," Miranda was quoted by People when talking about her feeling prior to the birthday party. However, when the bash was on she realized that "it's just so much fun," adding, "I couldn't be any happier."

Despite the fact that she already reaches the age of consent in the United States to get her driving license, Miranda said she has not yet chosen what kind of car she wants to drive. "My mom wants me to get a Prius," she revealed. "I think [Volkswagen] Bugs are super cute and you can get them in different colors, but my mom thinks they're dorky, so she won't let me get one."

Speaking of another plan she has in mind now that she grows older, Miranda told People, "I'm getting excited about maybe going to another state for college. I want to go to NYU and branch out, be somewhere else for a while," but "my parents want me to go to USC!"
