The official track listing for "Twilight" soundtrack has been unearthed. On Monday, October 6, Chop Shop Records has announced all of the artists taking part to create the signature tunes for the vampire romance flick as well as the title of the songs. Musicians from Muse and Linkin Park to Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell and composer Carter Burwell are several of the talented people behind the tracks.
The unveiling of the list has also answered speculations that Muse will contribute a track for the soundtrack. In it, they will present "Supermassive Black Hole", their first single from their fourth album, "Black Holes & Revelations". The official list has also let out that aside from the previously streamed "Decode", Paramore have also included their track "I Caught Myself" in the motion picture album. Additionally, Collective Soul will deliver one of their "Dosage" singles, "Tremble for My Beloved", while Iron & Wine shares "Flightless Bird, American Mouth" from his third studio LP "The Shepherd's Dog".
All of the songs listed in the soundtrack, which can be seen below, will also be featured in the Summit Entertainment movie, so claimed the film's producer as reported by MTV News. While the soundtrack will be available in stores on November 4, "Twilight" which is directed by Catherine Hardwicke and starred by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will make its debut in the big screen on November 21.
Adapted from Stephenie Meyer's bestselling novel of the same name, "Twilight" is a modern day love story between a vampire and a human. It resolves around seventeen-year-old Isabella 'Bella' Swan, her mysterious vampire classmate, Edward Cullen, and their unlikely romantic relationship. Finding acceptance from one another, their romance blossoms. However, it puts Bella's life in grave danger as Cullen's nemesis comes to the town and sets his eyes on Bella.

ugh critics .. but iadmit i was disappointed not to hear "decode" and the songs are aLL rock music i was actuaLLy expecting to hear some mellow Love songs or sumthing ;p
omg. fcuk. twilight's so good. it made me get addicted to it. i watched it last night. and when i woke up. all i can say are things about twilight. twilight twilight twilight. i keep telling them gaahd. please make edward be my boyfriend. he's so hot. gorgeous. i love him. :)
i like the movie.. it was great and the soundtracks it was all cool and its fits to the movie... especially, Muse - "Supermassive Black Hole" Paramore - "Decode" Linkin Park - "Leave Out All the Rest... it was all good... i love the soundtrack... i love edward..lol
Now that I've seen the movie, I think that all of the music fits perfectly well. I am very disappointed however, that they didn't play Decode by Paramore in the movie. I thought that was one of the best songs on the soundtrack. You know, supermassive black hole is a great song.
okay supermassive blackhole totally fits the scene. they're hot vampires. and they're looking at bella. and to EVERYONE else, they're 'scary' it fits the scene so well. i think the entire sountrack is brilliant.
yeah i dont see how supermassive black hole fits in the movie
I agree with bebe. I like Muse a lot, but eh...Supermassive Black Hole? Teenage mainstream girls are going to be listening to this. Is that song really appropriate? The answer is no. It is not.
I agree. This Is For Keeps would've been a great track for the soundtrack! Oh, and I can't wait to hear Robert's song. :D
Bellas Lullaby!! Aw! I can't wait to hear it, I wonder if Edward will sing/hum it to her in the movie like in the book.
Im excited to see the movie. The soundtrack is pretty fitting of the movie, though i must admit, a small part of me was hoping that "if i was your vampire" by marilyn manson would appear in some miniscule way in the movie. Eh, maybe a good song for the battle of the newborns in...eclipse? I think thats the one.
Disappointed that "all around me" by FlyLeaf didn't make it
I loves me some Iron & Wine, but Flightless Bird/American Mouth, like a lot of the other songs on the soundtrack seem really out of place. Muse is awesome, but that song? The could have done a lot better with a lot more appropriate music.
i love twilight:D
I'm very disappointed that "this is for keeps" didn't make the soundtrack
