Jane's Addiction Plan to Reunite Again
July 18, 2008 10:07:31Jane's Addiction reportedly will follow the footsteps of Extreme and Van Halen by planning to reunite again to record new material. The comeback plan for the rock act was hinted by the band's vocalist Perry Farrel in an interview with NME.com.
Shouting out about the reunion plan, Perry said, "I sure would be open for it now, It sounds exciting to me as a listener. I just like to go out with people I think make beautiful music. As I say, we're not making war, we're making music, so how bad could it be?" However, the singer also added that to get the band working together again won't be an easy job saying, "We've got to figure out a common ground, Jane's Addiction is a very inflammable group -- there's a lot of very strong personalities."
Jane's Addiction Reuniting With Original Bassist for NME Awards
April 17, 2008 09:04:02Jane's Addiction are taking their original bassist back to the clan. Eric Avery is confirmed reuniting with guitarist Dave Navarro, vocalist Perry Farrell and drummer Stephen Perkins though it is still for a "one night only" bill.
The four piece will take the stage at U.S. NME Awards on April 23, the date where they will perform together for the first time since 1991. The event which is held at Los Angeles' El Rey Theater will see the band being rewarded NME's Godlike Genius Award as well as performing three songs which are not listed yet.
Perry Working on the Debut Album from His New Band

Former Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell is at the very last stage of working on the debut album of his new group Satellite Party, featured in it is ex-Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt.
The album, supposedly a self-titled one, boasts guest appearances from Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Michael Balzary and guitarist John Frusciante, Black Eyed Peas vocalist Fergie, New Order bassist Peter Hook and Farrell's wife, Etty and is slated for a late summer release.
Jane's Addiction Frontman's a Two-Day Run Show
April 25, 2005 10:04:59Jane's Addiction frontman, Perry Farrell, has planned to held a two-day run tour in Chicago this summer. This will be one after his last 2004 tour, which was scuttled due to poor ticket sales. Farrell is scheduled to perform on the tour on July 23-24, 2005, in the city's Grant Park.
To succeed the tour, Farrell will feature 70-plus acts, including the alt-rock likes of the Killers, the Pixies, Digable Planets, Liz Phair, Weezer, Billy Idol, the Arcade Fire, Kaiser Chiefs, the Bravery, Louis XIV, Death Cab for Cutie and the recently reunited Dinosaur Jr..
