The Five Hosts for This Year Primetime Emmys

Ryan Seacrest, Tom Bergeron, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and Jeff Probst have all been tapped to host the upcoming 60th annual Primetime Emmys on September 21 later this year.

AceShowbiz - Expect something special from the producers of Emmys as there will be more than one host for this year awards event. Unlike its previous events, this year feast will see a total of five hosts lend a helping hand to share the emcee duties.

ABC and The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences told The Associated Press on Friday, July 25 that the upcoming Emmys will see the reality-TV hosts nominated in the new category, Best Reality Show Host, presiding over the show. Lone host last year Ryan Seacrest would return for the second time.

He will be joined by the likes of Heidi Klum (Project Runway), Howie Mandel (Deal or No Deal), Tom Bergeron (Dancing With the Stars) and Jeff Probst (Survivor). This nevertheless wouldn't be the first time that Emmys has multiple hosts as the 55th Emmy Awards in 2003 was hosted by 11 comedians, including Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O'Brien, George Lopez and Wanda Sykes among others.

The 60th annual Primetime Emmys will air live Sept. 21 on ABC from L.A.'s Nokia Theatre.
