FOX's Fall 2009 Premiere Dates
June 16, 2009 04:06:49FOX is the second after ABC to announce its premiere dates for the Fall 2009 line-up. Coming first on top of the network's list are the season premiere of "Cops" as well as a new episode of "America's Most Wanted". Both will kick off the Fall primetime program on Saturday, September 12.
After that "So You Think You Can Dance" will premiere a new season on Wednesday, September 16 before then taking two nights per week starting Tuesday, September 29. "Glee" which pilot was screened back in May, is partnered with "So You Think" to premiere on September 16. New episodes of "Bones" and "Fringe" meanwhile, will begin on September 17.
Wanda Sykes' Lesbian Wife Gives Birth to Twins
May 14, 2009 10:05:39Wanda Sykes and her lesbian wife, simply known as Alex, have become parents to twin babies. According to People, which is the first to report that matter, Alex gave birth to a baby boy and a baby girl on April 27.
The weekly publication obtains a confirmation from Wanda's representative, who says daughter Olivia Lou weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz., and was 19-inches long. Son Lucas Claude, meanwhile, was born at 7 lbs., 9 oz., and was 20-inches long. "All are happy and healthy and at home," the representative tells People.

November 17, 2008 11:11:02Wanda Sykes is gay and she is 'proud' of it, so she said during the gay rights rally in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 15. During her speech, the actress-comedian claimed it was the passage of same-sex marriage ban in California, called Proposition 8, that has led to her be more outspoken about being gay.
Defending her gay confirmation, Wanda said in her almost five minutes of remarks, "You know, I don't really talk about my sexual orientation. I didn't feel like I had to." She emphasized, "I was just living my life, not necessarily in the closet, but I was living my life."
Sykes & Wilson Join Super Ex-Girlfriend Cast

Wanda Sykes and Rainn Wilson aren't super heroes, but soon to becoming so or at least trying to do so. The twosome has joined the cast of "My Super Ex-Girlfriend," a comedy romance action flick directed by Ivan Reitman.
Already on board to star in is Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson. Wilson is slated to play the main role, a man who learns that his girlfriend (Thurman) is a superhero and breaks up with her when she becomes too controlling and neurotic. The story goes on as she then uses her powers to torment and embarrass him.
