Hosts of 60th Primetime Emmy Awards Got Into Scuffle in 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

In anticipation of the imminent Primetime Emmy Awards, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" has brought in all the five hosts of the 60th annual event to the show, which results in a tiny scuffle. Ryan Seacrest ("American Idol"), Tom Bergeron ("Dancing with the Stars"), Heidi Klum ("Project Runway"), Howie Mandel ("Deal or No Deal") and Jeff Probst ("Survivor") all had a little discussion about paycheck.

The five-piece who will all share hosting duties this weekend, sat in front of Kimmel as part of his show's episode called "Big Night of Stars" which is aimed to promote the Emmy Awards. Kimmel dropped the bomb when asking about how much each of them is paid for their MC duties. After a heated argument between the men, Seacrest lunged into Probst and got into a fight. Klum, meanwhile, steered off the scene.

A newlywed herself, Ellen DeGeneres plays matchmaker for Ryan Seacrest and Eva Mendes, offering him a help to set a date with the actress. The "American Idol" host was on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Monday, September 7 when Ellen challenged him to start dating someone before he's too old for a date.

Telling the talk show host that he is too busy to go on a date, Ryan was warned by Ellen "You're going to wait too long and get in a rut being single. It's going to be hard to open up and share your life with somebody, because you have your way of doing things." He was even advised by her "to let go and be with someone."

The Five Hosts for This Year Primetime Emmys

Expect something special from the producers of Emmys as there will be more than one host for this year awards event. Unlike its previous events, this year feast will see a total of five hosts lend a helping hand to share the emcee duties.

ABC and The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences told The Associated Press on Friday, July 25 that the upcoming Emmys will see the reality-TV hosts nominated in the new category, Best Reality Show Host, presiding over the show. Lone host last year Ryan Seacrest would return for the second time.

"Idol Gives Back" night ended with $22 million raised for charity on Wednesday, April 9. The star-studded event that was broadcast on Fox received donations from various sources including, callers and those who logged on to AmericanIdol.com, Britain via Prime Minister Gordon Brown, as well as the show's four main icons, Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.

The $22 million figure was announced on air during the final hour of the broadcast, but it is not the final sum for Idol is still taking donations. Hosting Fox's "Idol Gives Back" apparently has put Ryan Seacrest in his best charitable mood ever that he willingly gave back all his fee to the event. The TV and radio host has on Sunday evening, April 6 handed over the paycheck he received for hosting the event to the cause, which helps children and young people in extreme poverty in the U.S. and around the world.

Seacrest, as said by a source close to him, wanted to show fans that he was serious about the cause. "When he and Simon went to Africa last year and saw the children, it was really life-altering for him," the source told People. "He just knew he had to do his part and be willing to put his money where his mouth is."
