Anna Faris to Get Serious in a Porn-Star Biopic
Movie

Anna Faris has informed MTV that she would go dramatic in her future project of "Inferno", a biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace.

AceShowbiz - Getting out of her zone of comfort in comedic genre, Anna Faris is readying herself to portray a very different role in what she calls a 'deep, dark drama.'

The actress told MTV on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 that she would become porn star Linda Lovelace in a biopic about her entitled "Inferno" which she hopes to be finished filming before the impending strike in June.

"This would be incredibly intense," Faris said of the project. "It would be the most difficult thing I've done, and I'm really nervous."

Lovelace, whose real name was Linda Susan Boreman, rose to notoriety after appearing in 1972's "Deep Throat", which is assumed to be the most financially successful pornographic movie in history. In the years that followed, however, she surprisingly turned into an anti-porn crusader, insisting she had a gun held to her head off-camera by manager/husband Chuck Traynor during the infamous scenes in the film.

Talking further about the project, Faris also revealed that Matthew Wilder has been tapped to handle directing matters while other names have not yet been picked up for the cast.

"We've yet to find Linda's husband," she said. "That's sort of our hang-up right now; we're trying to get that."
