Bruno Mars Performs 'Gorilla' for the First Time During 'Moonshine Jungle' Tour

Bruno Mars kicked off his highly-anticipated "Moonshine Jungle" world tour on Saturday night, June 22. Standing in front of thousands who packed the Washington D.C.'s Verizon Center, Mars performed tracks from his latest album, "Unorthodox Jukebox".

At the show, he delivered the very first live performance of "Gorilla", a track off the "Unorthodox Jukebox" which was produced by The Smeezingtons, Jeff Bhasker, and Mark Ronson. The 27-year-old Hawaiian singer performed the song alone as fire blasted from the stage and a spotlight shone on him.

Chris Brown Takes Duet With Rihanna Off His 'X' Album

After initially building anticipation for his forthcoming sixth studio album "X" by saying it would feature a collaboration track with his on-again-off-again girlfriend Rihanna, Chris Brown has now apparently changed his mind about their duet being in his new LP. The song, entitled "Put It Up", was not included in the album's track list, according to an unnamed source.

"Just saw the working tracklist for 'X' yesterday -- Rihanna is not on there," the source reports. "Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn't allow the record to be released unless they took it off."

'Game of Thrones' Is the Most Pirated TV Show Again

"Game of Thrones" once again affirms its status as one of the most-watched TV shows as proven by the number of people who illegally downloaded it. According to TorrentFreak, 5.2 million people downloaded each episode of the HBO medieval series, making it the most-pirated show of the spring season by far. It's almost as many as people who watched the show on the paid cable channel (5.5 million) in the latest season.

The critically-acclaimed series was also the most illegally downloaded TV series of 2012. At the time, HBO programming president Michael Lombardo saw it as "a compliment of sorts." He added, "The demand is there. And it certainly didn't negatively impact the DVD sales. [Piracy is] something that comes along with having a wildly successful show on a subscription network."

Big Sean will drop his new album, "Hall of Fame", on August 27. The 25-year-old rapper announced the release date with a video posted on YouTube channel. In the video, Sean is seen standing while the camera rotates around him. In the end, it is revealed that Sean's robe has the word that reads, "HOF 8.27."

The album's release date is not the only thing Sean would like to share. The Santa Monica rapper has unveiled the artwork for "Beware", a new single off his upcoming album. Coming on June 25, the track will feature Sean alongside Lil Wayne and Jhene Aiko.

"So I decided I was gonna fall down the stairs... so I did! That's exactly what I did," he said with a laugh. Bieber, who is currently in the U.S. leg of his tour, also showed a grazed area on his neck that he got after falling. "Why I gotta fall and cut my neck before a photoshoot... fun," he wrote as the caption of the video.

Will Smith Is 'Too Expensive' to Return to 'Independence Day' Sequel

Fox's "Independence Day" sequel, tentatively titled "ID Forever Part 1", will not stage a reunion between Roland Emmerich and Will Smith. The German filmmaker, who also served behind the lens for "The Day After Tomorrow" and "2012", has confirmed to NY Daily News that Jaden Smith's father will not return.

"Will Smith cannot come back because he's too expensive, but he'd also be too much of a marquee name," Emmerich said while promoting his latest film, "White House Down". "We have like maybe half of the people that you would know from the first film [in the script] and the other half people who are new."

Although the cause for the early demise of jazz singer Amy Winehouse back in July 2011 had been officially traced to alcohol poisoning, her brother, Alex Winehouse, believes his sister's untimely death at the young age of 27, was rooted in the eating disorder bulimia. Alex says it left Amy's body so weak that the drug and alcohol abuse easily killed his sibling.

"She would have died eventually, the way she was going, but what really killed her was the bulimia," Alex said in a recent interview. "Had she not have had an eating disorder, she would have been physically stronger."

The music industry has lost another great artist in the person of blues and soul singer Bobby Bland a.k.a. Bobby "Blue" Bland. Known as "The Lion of the Blues", the legendary musician passed away on Sunday afternoon due to complications from an ongoing illness, surrounded by his loved ones in his Memphis home, his death at the age of 83 confirmed by his son Rodd.

A Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient back in 1997, Bland was heavily influenced by the ground-breaking Nat King Cole and was a first-rate imitator of the iconic Frank Sinatra, earning him the title "Sinatra of the blues." Prior to being recognized by the Grammys, he had already been inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1981 and later in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.

'World War Z' Sequel Moving Forward at Paramount

A sequel to "World War Z" is officially under development. Paramount's vice chairman Rob Moore confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that the studio "actively will turn to developing a sequel" after the Brad Pitt-starring flick exceeded expectations by opening to approximately $66 million in North America and an estimated $45.8 million internationally.

"The great thing about this process [of making and promoting the film] was that it showed what a great partner and producer Brad is. He made a true commitment," says Moore of Pitt, who tackles a role as a United Nation employee Gerry Lane in the film. Despite all serious production problems, "[Pitt] stayed and worked when he could have gone off and shot another movie."

Wallenda, equipped with a microphone and two cameras, didn't wear a harness and only brought a balancing pole. He was murmuring prayers along the way, saying about 13 minutes into the walk, "Thank you Lord. 'Monsters University' Knocks Down 'World War Z' at Box Office

As predicted by most movie forecasters, "Monsters University" wins box-office battle against "World War Z". The animated feature about the college life of Mike Wazowski and Suley Sullivan takes in an easy $82.4 million in its first run. Brad Pitt's zombie movie follows right behind it with $66.4 million.

Such great start of "Monsters University" marks Pixar's second-highest opening ever behind 2010's "Toy Story 3" ($110 million) and the fifth biggest June debut of all time. "So much of this business is predicated on momentum," says Disney distribution topper Dave Hollis as quoted by Variety. "Summer is here, and man is it good to see big 'ole weekends like this."

QVC May Also Axe Paula Deen, Fans Slam Food Network for Dropping the Cook

Paula Deen's deal with QVC is also in jeopardy amidst her N-word controversy. A representative for the network tells TMZ that they have "concerns [over] the unfortunate Paula Deen situation," noting that "QVC does not tolerate discriminatory behavior."

QVC hasn't made a decision whether to drop Deen or not, but "we are closely monitoring these events and we are reviewing our business relationship with Ms. Deen." It adds, "In the meantime, we have no immediate plans to have her appear on QVC."
