John Mayer to Release New Album 'Paradise Valley' in August

John Mayer has announced the release date of his new album, "Paradise Valley". Mayer is currently still in the studio to finish the follow-up to 2012's "Born and Raised", but he has confirmed the new album will be available on August 13.

Mayer also unveils the cover art of the highly-anticipated album. The artwork sees the 35-year-old singer dressing up like a cowboy and standing in front of what may be the scenery of the area he's been living on, Western Montana.

Cher, Christina Aguilera and Bruno Mars Perform on 'The Voice' Finale

"The Voice" wrapped up its fourth season on Tuesday night, June 18, with a stage full of stars. Cher, who made her first live show in more than a decade, was one of the performers who lent their star power to the competition. Wearing a fabulous pink wig, the 67-year-old diva took the stage to sing "Woman's World", the new single off her upcoming album that will be released next September.

Another artist who highlighted the show was Christina Aguilera. The original coach of "The Voice" didn't have to wait for this fall to return to the singing competition. Looking sexy in a tight black skirt, Aguilera delivered an energetic show when hitting the stage with Pitbull to perform their collaboration, "Feel This Moment".

A picture of their daughter, Emerson Jay Swisher, is attached to the Twitter post. Baby Emerson Jay is seen sleeping soundly in a basket fit to her tiny body. Wrapped in a violet-colored blanket, the adorable baby faces the camera. The baby's basket is put on a grassy place. Country Legend George Jones to Be Honored With Biopic

Late singer George Jones will get a biopic. Chris Corabi from 28 Entertainment has closed a deal with Jeff Rosen, on behalf of George and wife Nancy Jones, to nab the story rights for the movie project. Dennis L. Baxter has come aboard to pen and produce it alongside Jay Hoffman and Brian A. Hoffman. Nancy will be involved too in the production as an executive producer.

"Over the years we have been approached to make George's life into a feature film, but it was not until Dennis Baxter became involved that we were confident the story could be told accurately," Nancy said. "George and I started working with Dennis six years ago in crafting the life-long story. Knowing George had input in this film and that it will be told the way he wanted it told, I feel we are in good hands to collaborate with 28 Entertainment as we move forward with production."

After enduring days of ridicule for her confused "create education better" response during the Q&A portion in the recently-concluded Miss USA pageant, Miss Utah Marissa Powell got a chance to redeem herself on the "Today" show this morning. Asked the same question she got last Sunday, June 16 by host Matt Lauer, Powell gave a far better answer, as expected.

"So this is not okay, it needs to be equal pay for equal work and it's hard enough already to earn a living and it shouldn't be harder just because you're a woman," Powell aced the interview, saying that was what she had wanted to say Sunday night but never got to do so because of the nerves. Obviously, the stress and anxiety that got to her made her give one of the most confusing answers in the history of beauty pageants.

In next week's episode of "Pretty Little Liars", Aria, Emily and Hanna meet a creepy mask maker who presumably made the said mask. The mask maker takes a shine to Emily and may have ties to another Rosewood resident, and Aria may commit a desperate act to save them in the mask shop.

A preview for the upcoming episode also hints that the police have grown suspicious about the Liars and "the walls are closing in on" them. Hanna worries that her mother is keeping a dangerous secret and is determined to protect her at all costs, which leads her to an uncomfortable meeting with Detective Holbrook. Ashley, however, thinks that Hanna is spying on her and is not happy about it.

Rapper King Kevi Files Restraining Order Against Justin Bieber

Rapper King Kevi has filed a petition to the court to seek restraining order against Justin Bieber and his friend, videographer Alfredo Flores. Kevi alleges that he is "being harassed" by the two and wants them to stay at minimum 150-yard away from him. Kevi claims that the "Beauty and a Beat" singer wrote his phone number and address to his 40 million devoted followers on Twitter and encouraged them to contact him.

"Justin Bieber and his camp released my number out to over 40,000,000 people and telling people to call it. This was followed by another tweet from him saying, 'I have never even met this kid Kevi, do you even fact check?' then said 'I'm glad my friends are people I have met before, kinda seems like that would make sense.' This caused me to look like a liar. These three tweets turned into a media frenzy," Kevi wrote in a court filing obtained by E! News.

TMZ has obtained the photos taken after the reality TV star was rushed to the hospital after being attacked by then husband, former NFL player Chad Johnson a.k.a. Chad Ochocinco.

The photos, showing Lozada with a 3-inch laceration right in the middle of her forehead, were taken by Davie police inside a Florida emergency room on August 11, 2012. Meanwhile, Johnson was arrested for committing domestic violence on her wife, after just a little over a month from the time they got married. Ironically, within the same time period after their bloody altercation in their Jupiter, Florida mansion, the couple got divorced.

Global celebrity Angelina Jolie's stunt double, Eunice Huthart, has now become the first person to file a lawsuit against multinational mass media corporation News Corp. for the alleged hacking of her mobile phone by its British tabloids, The Sun and News of the World. It is the first time a lawsuit has been filed against the company since the phone-hacking scandal broke out two years ago.

Huthart, a British professional stunt double, claims reporters from the two News Corp. tabloids tried to intercept messages from her mobile phone while she was working on location in Los Angeles back in 2005 for movie "Mr and Mrs Smith" starring Jolie. As a result, the two tabloids were able to feature articles on Jolie's budding relationship with then co-star Brad Pitt, despite only a few people close to the pair knowing about it, including Huthart.

Man Arrested After Being Spotted on Roof of Rihanna's Home

A man was detained by the police on Tuesday, June 18, after he allegedly trespassed Rihanna's Pacific Palisades home when she was away. Officials told Los Angeles Times that private security guards on Rihanna's property near Rivas Canyon Road and West Sunset Boulevard spotted the man on the roof of the singer's house on Monday at 10 P.M. and made a report to the police.

The security guards held the man while they were waiting for the police. According to TMZ, the 26-year-old man insisted that he did not know it was Rihanna's house. The cops said that the alleged trespasser had Google Map of the area displayed on his phone at that time. The man was still under custody with $2,882 bail.

"We couldn't be more proud to lend a hand to home state," said Kings of Leon's bassist Jared Followill. "This is the least we could do." The rock band, who originated in Talihina, Oklahoma, will be playing for neighboring city Moore, which was badly hit by the F5 tornado, leaving behind 24 people dead and $2 billion in damages to property.

Franco turns to a crowd-funding site named Indiegogo for a trilogy of movies based on his 2011 short story collection, "Palo Alto". The "Spring Breakers" star is asking fans to help finance "Memoria", "Killing Animals" and "Yosemite".

"Although it's a book of fiction, it was inspired by experiences I had growing up here, things that people I knew went through, and generally I see it as a book that's supposed to touch on universal things about being a teenager, coming of age, and learning about the bigger world," Franco explains in a video on the funding site. Seeking $500,000, the campaign has collected $40,544 as of this writing.

Liv Tyler is set to make her TV debut with HBO's pilot "The Leftovers". She has been cast on the television adaptation of Tom Perrotta's 2011 book of the same name, being set to share screen with Justin Theroux who was earlier cast in a lead male role.

Tyler will play Meg, a young woman who is about to be married, but needs an escape. She eventually is recruited to join a cult following the Rapture. Theroux, meanwhile, will portray Kevin Garvey, a town's chief of police and a father of two who is "trying to maintain some semblance of normalcy in a world that is starting to completely reject that notion."

Rihanna beats Justin Bieber as the most viewed artist on YouTube. On Tuesday morning, June 18, the 77 videos on the "Diamonds" singer's VEVO channel have a total of 3.788 billion views while 79 videos on Bieber's VEVO channel have 2 million less views.

The unfortunate news for Beliebers may happen since Rihanna has a larger number of subscribers compared to Bieber. The Barbadian beauty has 8.734 million fans who subscribe to her channel to check out her music while Bieber has "only" 4.954 fans who do so.

Kim Kardashian is excited about her new role as a mother. In an email to Ryan Seacrest, the mother of a baby girl tells Ryan her impression of being a mother for the first time. "Yay! Congrats my darling, you're a mommy!" Ryan wrote to the 32-year old TV personality, to which she replied, "Cant believe it! It's so crazy!"

Ryan, who serves as an executive producer of Kim's E! show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians", relayed the message at his radio show on Tuesday, June 18. Ryan also talked to E! News correspondent Ken Baker, who said that Kim and her baby with Kanye West were doing well.

Set Photos: 'Veronica Mars' Movie Is Officially Underway

A first batch of images from the set of "Veronica Mars" has finally come out. The snaps give fans a first look at Kristen Bell reprising her role as the titular character. Flaunting post-baby bod, Bell is seen filming a scene outside 09ER, which is described as "Neptune's Hottest Nightclub," with Jason Dohring, who plays Veronica's perennial love interest Logan.

As previously revealed by creator Rob Thomas, Veronica "hasn't seen [Logan] in nine years" and is "dating someone" at the start of the film. Thus, it's no surprise to see how the two are quite awkward around each other as seen in the photos. The project, which raised over $5.7 million worth of funding via a Kickstarter campaign, will pick up with Veronica on the occasion of her 10-year high school reunion.

Edward Furlong Pleads Not Guilty to Assaulting His Ex-Girlfriend

Edward Furlong was back in court June 18. The "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" actor was charged with assault for allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend at her home in West Hollywood. He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday.

According to TMZ, the troubled star was additionally charged with dissuading a witness by force or threat for threatening his ex not to call police and was charged with vandalism for damaging her laptop and photo equipment during the dispute.

Selma Blair has become the casualty in a rift between her and her "Anger Management" co-star, Charlie Sheen. Following reports that he wanted to fire her, Lionsgate has released a statement to announce the actress' departure from the show.
