Wu-Tang Clan was formed in early 1990s and has since become one of the biggest rap groups in the game. The New York-based group was originally made up of rappers RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, Cappadonna and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard.

Wu-Tang Clan rose to fame in 1993 following the release of the independent single "Protect Ya Neck". Their debut album, "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)", came out later that year. It received rave reviews from critics and eventually became one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. In addition to working as Wu-Tang Clan, each member worked individually as an individual artist. Some of them put out their solo records before reuniting for the second Wu-Tang album "Wu-Tang Forever" in 1997.
