Michael Franti & Spearhead has just dropped a music video for "I'm Alive (Life Sounds Like)". Beginning with some people whistling, the video sees some people having fun and dancing to the upbeat song in an abandoned town while the plain walls are projecting fun and colorful shapes.

"I'm Alive (Life Sounds Like)" is going to be featured on the hip hop group's forthcoming album, a follow-up to its 2010's "The Sound of Sunshine". The song features a lot of whistling and some references to famous couples like John Lennon and Yoko Ono and Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles. The song also features a little part of Train's hit, "Hey, Soul Sister".

Responding to the tweet, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton asked her why she changed her mind about Drake now. The "Easy A" actress then tweeted Hilton, "Not with his ugly smile and ugly uneven teeth and fugly face! He's gay and ugly I want a hot straight man!"

The xx Premieres New Music Video 'Fiction'

The xx took the opportunity of their recent "Night + Day" tour stop in Palm Springs to shoot the music video for their latest single "Fiction". The new song is one of the tracks listed in their second studio album "Coexist".

The Young Replicant-directed visuals features vocalist Oliver Sim as he goes outdoors from inside a house, as he sings about a fractured relationship through such lyrics as "fiction, when we're not together / mistaken for a vision, something of my own creation / I wake up alone, with only daylight between us," walking out into a moon-lit night all by his lonesome. Sim's low vocals and the track's haunting melody make for a chilling mood-setter for the three-minute, black-and-white visuals.

"It would be an honor to have a great actor like Roberto Benigni in my next film ['Inferno']," admits 48-year-old Brown, who drew inspiration to write the new novel from the part of Dante Alighieri's 14th-Century epic poem, "The Divine Comedy", with the same name. "I have seen some of his performances based on Dante's work on YouTube and they are marvelous."

The organizer of Miss World 2013 beauty pageant declared on Thursday, June 5, that the beauty pageant would ditch bikinis amid protests launched by hard-line Muslim groups in Indonesia. According to Adjie S. Soeratmadjie of the RCTI, official broadcaster and organizer of Miss World 2013 in Indonesia, the contestants will be required to wear long Bali sarongs, instead of bikinis.

Soeratmadjie said, "There will no bikini in this year's Miss World pageant to respect our traditional customs and values. This is a sensitive issue in Indonesia. We have discussed it since last year and they have agreed."

The Beach Boys' member Brian Wilson has returned to his original record label, Capitol Music Group, to produce and record his eleventh studio album. Joining him at Hollywood's Ocean Way Studios are former band mates Al Jardine and David Marks, rock guitarist Jeff Beck and many of his old-time pals mostly from his touring days.

"I was really moved by the fans' excitement about The Beach Boys' album and tour last year," Wilson said, referring to the band's latest album "That's Why God Made the Radio" and recent 50th Anniversary Tour as the inspiration for his new record. "It charged me up and my head was full of music - I just couldn't wait to get back into the studio to let it out," he added.

FX Cancels 'Brand X', Russell Brand Works on New Comedy Pilot

FX cancels "Brand X with Russell Brand" after two seasons. FX Productions CEO John Landgraf has announced that it won't renew the late-night weekly talk show, which wrapped up its sophomore run on May 2 and aired a total of 26 episodes.

However, FX will continue its business relationship with Russell Brand. The cable channel has picked up a scripted live-action comedy from the British comedian. Likening it to Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm", Landgraf says the new project is loosely based on the Brand's own life. The potential new series is in very early stages and does not have a writer attached yet.

Spotted in his Winter Soldier costume complete with his bionic arm, Stan fights off unarmed Evans, who wears civilian clothes for his depiction of Steve Rogers.

Previously, Stan as James "Bucky" Barnes was photographed on the hood of a supposedly moving hummer. The image came along with shots of Evans and co-star Scarlett Johansson, who rocked a fiery red hair for her portrayal of Natasha Romanoff, jumping into action.

In a way similar to Denzel's "Man on Fire", the plot of upcoming movie centers on a garbageman-turned-hitman, who is hired to kill the daughter of a powerful, maniacal evangelist. Ultimately, the killer becomes the girl's protector. It is set in a dystopian future of New York City.

Archie Comics Movie in the Works With 'Pitch Perfect' Director and 'Glee' Writer

Warner Bros. Pictures is confirmed to bring Archie comics characters to life with two figures from backgrounds of musical productions hired to work on an untitled Archie movie. Jason Moore, the man behind the lens for a cappella sensation "Pitch Perfect", will direct the film from the script by writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa of FOX's award-winning series "Glee".

The ambitious project based on the 1940s comics, featuring fictional teen Archie Andrews and his friends, will be produced by Roy Lee and Dan Lin. Archie Comics Co-CEO Jon Goldwater has also come aboard to help Krishnan Menon and Jon Silk executive produce the film, which is said to be a "high school comedy based on the original line of Archie comics set in present day Riverdale."

Showtime Renews 'Nurse Jackie' for Season 6

"Nurse Jackie" will return for another season. Showtime has picked up the comedy series for a sixth installment with Clyde Phillips returning as the showrunner after he began taking over the duty from co-creators Linda Wallem and Liz Brixius in the fifth season.

" 'Nurse Jackie' is an essential part of the Showtime brand, and we are thrilled with the series' growth in its fifth season," Showtime Entertainment president David Nevins says when announcing the renewal. Justin Bieber to Go Into Space With Virgin Galactic

Justin Bieber is going into space. The news is revealed by Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Galactic that provides service to take people to memorable trips above the earth, in a tweet. "Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!" the British entrepreneur wrote on Wednesday, June 5.

Bieber retweeted the Twitter post to his 40 million followers later. According to Reuters, the 19-year-old pop star also wrote, "Let's shoot a music video in SPACE!!" in response to the tweet. Bieber's manager Scott Braun, who will join him in the space trip, replied in an excited-sounding tweet, "I'm going to space momma!"

Featuring impressive music treatment by Hans Zimmer, the video previews new footage of Superman's romantic moments with Lois Lane. Amy Adams as the bright journalist depicter is seen in the caped hero's embrace and later locking lips with him in front of burning buildings.

Walmart, meanwhile, also pulls effort to promote the Zack Snyder-directed flick with the release of a video for its early screening that will take place on Thursday, June 13 at 7 P.M. The promo clip gives fans another glimpse of how Henry Cavill's Clark Kent grows closer to Lois. "You might wanna step back a little bit, maybe a little bit more," he says to her with the look of adoration in his eyes.

'Today' Canceled Outdoor Filming After Man Attempted Suicide in Rockefeller Center

The "Today" show filming on Thursday, May 6 was marred by a suicide attempt outside the show's studio in Rockefeller Center in New York City. Matt Lauer explained to viewers that due to the off-camera incident, a segment which was supposed to be filming outdoor had been scrapped.

The incident occurred around 7:40 A.M. EST as a man who was among the audience watching "Today" attempted to harm himself during the broadcast. Wearing a grubby gray T-shirt and a white baseball cap, the emotionally-disturbed man identified as Pak Chong Mar reportedly yelled, "The IRS ruined my life!" before he pulled out his knife.
