John Travolta Intrudes a Wedding

John Travolta surprised a Georgia pair when he made an appearance on their wedding day. Showing up in a black t-shirt, a pair of jeans and a baseball cap at the wedding, the actor apparently didn't bother the bride and the groom. The pair were beaming as the 59-year-old actor posed for several photos with them.

Travolta, who was in Georgia to renew his pilot's license, reportedly met the pair at a bar the night before. The pair apparently told him that they were getting married the next day. A friend of the groom, who shared the photos on Reddit, wrote, "My friend ran into John Travolta the night before his wedding, and he shows up the next day."

Justin Chatwin Quits 'Shameless' After Three Seasons

Justin Chatwin is done being "Shameless". Producer John Wells announced at a TV Academy Emmy panel for the series on Tuesday night, June 4 in Los Angeles that the Canadian actor would not return for the fourth season. A representative for Showtime later confirms the news, adding that Chatwin may appear in "one or two episodes" next season.

Chatwin, who also appeared in the pilot and series finale of another Showtime series "Weeds", plays Steve, the love interest of Emmy Rossum's Fiona, on "Shameless" since the first season. He was last seen being taken on a boat by his secret wife's drug lord father and was presumed to be killed by the drug dealer's thug. According to a tweet by TV Guide's Rob Moynihan, "John Wells confirms Jimmy is dead."

Country music star Carrie Underwood will use her forthcoming performance at the upcoming CMT Music Awards Wednesday, June 5 at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville to pay tribute to the victims of the recent tornadoes that have devastated Oklahoma. The 30-year-old singer will dedicate her new single "See You Again" as a somber memorial backed up by 2 dozen members of the Nashville Christ Church choir.

The "American Idol" season-three grand winner, who was born and raised in Oklahoma, made a $1 million donation to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund soon after the tragedy. Donations to the said humanitarian organization can also be made during Underwood's appearance at the annual awards show.

The drama takes place after the Rapture happens but not quite like it's supposed to. "This is the story of the people who didn't make the cut... and a world that will never be the same," the official logline reads.

'A Royal Affair' Director and 'Harry Potter' Producers Join Forces in DC Comics' 'Fables'

Warner Bros. has secured three important figures to work on "Fables", a film adaptation of DC Comics' series. Nikolaj Arcel, the man behind the lens for Alicia Vikander-starring "A Royal Affair", has been appointed to take charge of the film. The Danish filmmaker will team up with "Harry Potter" producers, David Heyman and Jeffrey Clifford of Heyday Films.

"Fables" was created in 2002 by Bill Willingham. The series follows fairytales and folklore characters, from Snow White to the Big Bad Wolf, who are kicked out of their world and form a clandestine community in New York City known as Fabletown. It has snatched fourteen Eisner Awards, including Best New Series in 2003 and Best Short Story in 2007.

To tide fans over the midseason premiere of "Breaking Bad" fifth and last season, AMC unleashes the first teaser for the final episodes. The 42-year-old Jesse Spencer, who works in the adult movie industry under the name Mr. Marcus, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, in addition to 36 months probation and 15 days of community labor. Los Angeles Daily News reported that Spencer had been put under custody since May 22 for a DUI arrest.

Taylor Swift appeared at The Rolling Stones' "50 & Counting" tour concert on Monday night, June 3. Concertgoers at Chicago's United Center applauded the 23-year-old country singer as she entered the stage to perform the band's 1964 song "As Tears Go By" with frontman Mick Jagger.

Hours before, Jagger already informed his Twitter followers that Swift would appear at the concert. "Tonight's special guest will be @taylorswift13!" he tweeted. "Looking forward to singing with @taylorswift13 tonight! Wonder which song we will do?"

After Lindsay Lohan, now Helena Bonham Carter brings to life the late Elizabeth Taylor in another TV movie. A first look at the "Les Miserables" actress as the legendary silver-screen star in BBC America's "Burton and Taylor" has made its way out, also unveiling a look at Dominic West as Richard Burton.

The upcoming pic will depict Hollywood's volatile on-again and off-again lovers, whose romance was increasingly strained during their appearance on a 1983 revival of Noel Coward's stage play "Private Lives". Despite the high anticipation, the production just ran for 63 performances on Broadway.

Kristen Stewart Takes Indie Route With 'Camp X-Ray' and 'Sils Maria'

Kristen Stewart heads to indie movies next. After starring in the last installment of the "Twilight" film franchise, the young Hollywood actress is attached to two projects, "Camp X-Ray" and "Sils Maria". Peter Sattler will direct her in the first film, which is also penned by him. As for the latter, Olivier Assayas will serve behind the lens.

As reported by Deadline, "Camp X-Ray" will feature Stewart as a young soldier who is sent to Guantanamo for a tour of duty instead of Iraq as she hoped. There, she develops an awkward relationship with a young man who has been in jail at Gitmo for eight years. Starting filming late summer, the pic will be produced by Gina Kwon and Sophia Lin.
