Jessie J Shaves Off Head for Red Nose Day

Jessie J made good on her promise to shave her hair off during BBC One's coverage of Red Nose Day on Friday, March 15. She once said that getting her hair shaved was the least thing she could do to raise fund for the charity.

At first, Jessie showed her completely shaved head, except for the bangs, to the camera. Later at the end of the program, she showed up on stage with her bald head. One of the hosts, Dermot O'Leary commented on her shaved head, "I really like it. You look like GI Jane." Jessie said that "it's the weirdest feeling" when Dermot stroked her head.

Christian Bale Could Play Moses in 'Exodus'

Christian Bale is eyed to star in Fox's project "Exodus". According to Deadline, director Ridley Scott is courting the star of "The Dark Knight Rises" to tackle the Moses role.

Christian Bale is still in early talks with the studio, but Fox wants to get the project off the ground quickly. The studio is hoping that Scott can start working on the film right after he completes "The Counselor" starring Michael Fassbender which is set to be released in November 2013.

Bruno Ganz Elected as Pope in Showtime's 'The Vatican'

Swiss actor Bruno Ganz, best known for portraying Adolf Hitler in "Downfall", has landed a role in a drama pilot for Showtime titled "The Vatican". Ganz is cast to play soft-spoken, fictional Pope Sixtus VI, who is described as "an unassuming and introspective caretaker of the Church, who struggles with his own legacy, and how history will judge his papacy."

Ganz, who takes on the role two days after the the election of real new Pope Francis I, joins the cast that includes Kyle Chandler as progressive New York Cardinal Thomas Duffy and Anna Friel as Duffy's very secular, hard-living younger sister. The pilot also casts Matthew Goode as Papal Secretary Bernd Koch, Sebastian Koch as Cardinal Marco Malerba and Ewen Bremner as Monsignor Alberico Iemma.

Elton John Cancels Alabama Show Due to Medical Reasons

Another artist has canceled his tour date. After Justin Bieber's March 12 Portugal concert, Morrissey's San Francisco tour leg, and two of Rihanna's Diamonds World Tour shows, legendary "Rocketman" Elton John becomes the latest addition to the string of artists that have failed to push through with their scheduled performances.

The British rock singer-songwriter was forced to cancel his Friday night, March 15 show in Alabama at the Birmingham Jefferson Complex Arena "due to medical reasons," according to a representative to the music legend. Ticketmaster announced the cancellation on its website just hours before the concert was about to take place.

The mother of one oozes sexiness as she models H.Stern's Iris collection, which is inspired by the sea, and gives a sultry stare at the camera with her smoky eyes. In one of the photos, she is seen frolicking on the sand wearing a white bikini.

Jay Leno and NBC's Boss Allegedly Clashing Over Ratings Jokes

Jay Leno might be in a feud with NBC entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt. The host of "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" reportedly angered the network's exec after poking fun at NBC's ratings struggles and its dropping ranking.

"For the first time in history NBC is going to finish fifth in the ratings period," Leno said during his monologue in a February 28 edition of his late-night show. "We are behind the Spanish-language network Univision - or as we call it here in Los Angeles: Cinco de Ratings."

On March 14, James, Ashley, and other co-stars Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens attended "Spring Breakers" premiere in Los Angeles. James and Ashley were said not being able to keep their hands off of each other on red carpet.

After the red carpet session, James and co-stars entered Cinema Dome for the movie screening. James and Ashley opted to sit side-by-side inside the cinema. The two reportedly got cozy to each other as they laughed on their seats when the screen showed their respective scenes.

'Law and Order' Colorist Sues NBC Over Sex Discrimination

NBC Universal's owner and several executives have been hit with a lawsuit, filed by a former post-production employee on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". Expert colorist Charlotte Grau filed the suit against the TV network in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, March 15, claiming that she received physical and mental abuse from her male colleagues.

In the lawsuit filed by L.A. attorney Lisa Maki, Grau was said to have been routinely mistreated by NBCU employees, paid less in overtime than male colleagues, told that her work was inferior and physically assaulted by a male superior. She demanded at least $5 million in damages on claims of sex discrimination, battery, assault, defamation and gender violence.

TMZ's report of Lil Wayne "being prepared for his last rites" has been denied. Members of the multiplatinum rapper's label shoot down the report, claiming that Weezy is getting better.

Mack Maine, the president of Young Money label, spoke out first about the false reports. "Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game...," he tweeted on early Saturday, March 16. "We will be releasing an official statement shortly but dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe...that's false!!"

First Teaser for Alan Patridge Movie Starring Steve Coogan

The first teaser trailer for the Alan Patridge movie is out. In the video, Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan) and some employees of North Norfolk Digital Radio are discussing a title for a film. Patridge then lists some title suggestions, including his favorite, "Colossal Velocity", which is rejected.

The title is then set to be "Alan Partridge Is in Alpha Papa". The trailer concludes with a voice over asks, "When's it out?" Partridge says, "Don't know, don't care," before the U.K. release date, which is August 7, appears.

School Hires Extra Security After Charlie Sheen's 'Dog S**t' Threat

Viewpoint school has reportedly tightened up security on the campus ground after Charlie Sheen called for help from his 9-million Twitter followers to seek revenge on the alleged bullying his 9-year-old daughter received while attending the school. The actor asked his devotees to attack the school with rotten eggs and dog poops among other unhygienic things.

Rumor has it, Charlie's daughter with ex-wife Denise Richards, Sam, was bullied out of the school last year. TMZ reports Denise had 3 meetings at the school to complain about the bullying, but to no avail. The mother met with the parents of the alleged bully during the third meeting last May, only to be told that Sam was a liar. Denise then pulled her little girl out of the school.

The disgruntled boyfriend reportedly confronted the "Saving Private Ryan" actor at his residence in the 400 block of S. Main Street. LA Times reports the uninvited guest pretended he had a gun and threatened the actor and the woman before taking off with guitars and other property.

'Beautiful: The Carole King Musical' to Open on Broadway in 2014

A musical about the life and career of Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Carole King plans to start viewing on Broadway in spring 2014. "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical" will include hits written by King and his former husband Gerry Goffin, as well as Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.

Produced by Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the musical is set to feature a book by Academy Award nominee Douglas McGrath, who once worked with Woody Allen on the screenplay for "Bullets Over Broadway". The author has also penned "Infamous" and "Emma".

Being hip-hop royalty, Jay-Z can bring the world's top musical artists together in one mega project, and that's what he did when he signed up as an executive producer on the soundtrack for Australian filmmaker Baz Luhrmann's forthcoming adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby". By doing so, the 43-year-old rapper was able to put the modern jazz age energy he wanted to infuse into the latest film version of the novel set in 1920s America.

"As soon as I spoke with [director] Baz [Luhrmann] and Leonardo [DiCaprio], I knew this was the right project. 'The Great Gatsby' is that classic American story of one's introduction to extravagance, decadence and illusion. It's ripe for experimentation and ready to be interpreted with a modern twist," the Grammy Award-winning artist said in a press statement.

Country Music Singer Jack Greene, 83, Dies From Complications of Alzheimer's Disease

Country music world lost another one of its great singers, Jack Greene. The Jolly Green Giant passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease. He died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Nashville, Tennessee, the Grand Ole Opry announces on its official website. He was 83.

Greene had been a member of the Opry, a sign of elite status in the industry, since 1967. He died Thursday, March 14, only two months after his 83rd birthday during which he still performed in fine voice for his friends despite his loss of memory and health.

Alex Trebrek's "Jeopardy!" contract will only expire in 2016, but Sony Pictures TV has begun a search to find his replacement. Reports say Matt Lauer, Anderson Cooper, Brian Williams and Dan Patrick are in the mix of possible new hosts.

According to Deadline, all four of them have had talks with Sony TV, though the studio is not actively pursuing anyone at the moment. Sony will only have serious discussions with the potential hosts when Trebrek gives an indication that he will step down from the position.
