As more and more people are catching on the "Harlem Shake" craze, hitting YouTube phenomenon levels known only before to 's "Gangnam Style", people from all walks of life, from regular folks to celebrities, have posted their own clips, dancing to the wacky, addicting beat. Most recently, the dance craze reached the workplace of Senator Mitch McConnell, late-night show host and even the set of TV series "".
Apparently, Sen. McConnell's re-election campaign volunteers "Team Mitch" thought a "Harlem Shake" spoof in front of Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky would make for a cool campaign clip. Their version featured a man holding a blown-up image of the senate minority leader's head leading the shake that included someone wearing a horse mask to represent the Kentucky Derby. Another person wore an elephant suit as the symbol of the Grand Old Party.
