Lindsay Lohan's lawyer Mark Heller is working hard to keep her out of jail, but it seems that the result of his effort is not good enough for the troubled actress. TMZ reports that the "Mean Girls" star turned down a plea bargain offered by prosecutors after a phone discussion with her lawyer, even though it could save her from prison.

In LiLo's lying-to-cop case stemming from her car accident last summer, prosecutors were willing to be lenient to her only if she agreed to a significant amount of time in a residential rehab facility and maybe a community service, an offer which she refused. Even when the rehab time was reduced from the initial 60 days to 30, she still stubbornly said no.

Anastacia has just found out that the breast cancer which she was diagnosed with in 2003 comes back. The American singer, who makes it big outside the United States with her 2000 dance hit "I'm Outta Love", is forced to cancel all her scheduled gigs and appearances to focus her energy on battling the illness for the second time.

"Anastacia has sadly been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time after having successfully survived her 2003 battle with the disease. Consequently she has been forced to cancel all performances, tours and any travel from now until further notice," it's announced on her Facebook page.

Top video hosting site YouTube has taken down the videos of nine-year-old rapper and French Montana's prodigy Luis Rivera "Lil Poopy" Jr., less than three days after Brockton, Massachusetts police filed for a Department of Children and Families investigation on the young artist's material. One of the Lil Poopy's videos, entitled "Lil Poopy Getting It In", reportedly features him engaging in sexually suggestive situations with women in a nightclub.

After giving an initial video content warning with age verification to the video in question last Tuesday afternoon, February 26, YouTube has apparently decided to altogether take down the video after receiving an email from Brockton's "The Enterprise" newspaper.

Just a couple of days after Pitbull released his "Welcome to Dade County" freestyle over Baauer's "Harlem Shake" to diss Lil Wayne for his Miami Heat rant, Lil Wayne went online to hit back at the pop rapper. The New Orleans rapper took to Twitter to respond to the verbal backlash that he got from the Miami rapper in exchange for his damaging remarks against Chris Bosh and his basketball team.

"Dam pit bull bro I thought u was kool," Weezy tweeted on Wednesday morning, February 27. Shortly after posting the message, Pitbull tweeted back with, "I am cool papo but imagine me shitting on anything new orleans which I was just there for super bowl the big easy I loved it. the world shows me love and vice versa but miami is all I got no disrespect just the truth".

A month after Marc Anthony split with model girlfriend Shannon De Lima, he is spotted cuddling and kissing with Topshop heiress Chloe Green during an outing to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, on Tuesday, February 26. Marc and his new girl were joined by his five-year-old twins with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, Max and Emme.

However, that won't last long since someone from his past unexpectedly returns to the town. When there's no other way to stop her except death, Oliver is faced with a tough decision as he claims he can't kill her.

Good news came from Perez Hilton. On Wednesday February 27, the celebrity blogger announced the birth of a baby boy whose name was not revealed yet. He wrote on his website, "Dear Friends, I want you to hear this directly from me, right here. I am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy - with lots of hair on his tiny head!"

The surprise announcement came with a picture of him holding his son who was wrapped in white blanket and wearing a striped hat. Perez expressed his happiness, saying, "I am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life. And I am honored and ready for the challenge of guiding him through his. My family is overjoyed at this newest and most cherished addition." He also thanked fans for the well wishes.

Legendary rock band The Rolling Stones added another feather to their cap when they won the Best Live Band award at the just concluded 2013 NME Awards that took place at London's Troxy events place. They also brought home the NME trophy for Best Music Film for "Crossfire Hurricane".

Another double winner that night was Florence and the Machine's lead singer Florence Welch, who bagged the Best Solo Artist award in spite of the fact that she's still very much a part of the English indie rock band. She sure took time to thank her band mates for their help in making her albums which she described as "very collaborative". She also shared the Best Dancefloor Anthem award with Calvin Harris for their collaboration "Sweet Nothing".

A war of words has erupted between Morrissey and Jimmy Kimmel. After the British rocker canceled his scheduled performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" due to "Duck Dynasty" cast appearance, the host poked fun at the singer and vegans in the Tuesday, February 26 edition of the talk show. Morrissey then quickly reacted as he was clearly displeased with the joke.

In a long statement, he said, "I was disappointed with last night's Jimmy Kimmel Show wherein our smiling host managed to ridicule depression (70% of Americans have experienced depression according to the National Institute of Mental Health). He then found time to ridicule healthy eating (the obesity epidemic in the U.S. costs $147 billion per year in medical expenditure), and he also ridiculed the notion that animals should be entitled to the possession of their own lives."

Mary-Louise Parker is accused of making derogatory remark and threatening an antique shop owner on January 2. The antique shop owner, Daniel Seldin, filed a report to the authorities claiming that the actress called him a "f*g" and threatening to have him killed. However, the actress denied the accusation via her representative.

The representative said that all of the accusation was not true and claimed that people who knew Parker would know that Parker would not say such word. The actress indeed went to the antique shop, and there was an argument, but she left when the dispute got nasty.

Sony Pictures claims that "Ghostbusters 3" positively won't be animated. A representative from Sony tells Coming Soon that the studio insists to continue developing the project as a live-action film. It confirms the rumor is not true as there is no animated movie in the works.

The rumor first sparked as Bloody-Disgusting reported that the company might want to continue the plan on bringing the third installment to animated version. Sony indeed planned on animating "Ghosbuster 3" back in 2007. The project turned into "Ghostbusters" video game in 2009.

Kristen Kish and Brooke Williamson were battling it out for the champion title in the final showdown of "Top Chef: Seattle". The episode which aired Wednesday, February 27 was filmed before live audience in Los Angeles on February 22.

In the finale, both chefs had to prepare a five-course meal. Singer/songwriter and record producer Cee-Lo Green has premiered the music video for his new single "Only You", the lead track from his forthcoming fourth album "Everybody's Brother". Emerging pop/R'n'B singer Lauriana Mae, who assists in the new love ballad, also joins Green in the Ethan Lader-directed clip.

In the almost four-minute clip, Green and Lauriana Mae, both are dressing in black, separately stroll around a shape-shifting L.A. cityscape, as the buildings, trees and other objects around them warp into kaleidoscopic fragments. As Green's retro-soul blend combines with the newbie's soulful jazz vocals, the two singers stand at each end of a road that never meets, in a brilliant representation of the song's main theme.

Taylor Swift is rumored moving on from Harry Styles to Ed Sheeran. The romance rumor arises after the American country music artist was spotted spending most of the Tuesday night, February 19 with the redheaded British singer/songwriter in her hotel room in London.

According to E! News, Ed arrived at Taylor's hotel and headed straight to her room one day before the BRIT Awards. They "stayed in the room, just the two of them, until around 4 A.M.," a source said. He left in the car used by her earlier in the day looking "very happy" and "very pleased with himself."

In anticipation to the 66th edition of Cannes International Film Festival, the event's organizers have picked a notable American filmmaker to preside the jury of the upcoming prestigious movie festival. He is none other than Steven Spielberg.

The festival organizers confirmed the news on late Wednesday night, February 27 that Spielberg had been named the jury president for the French event to take place from May 16 to 26. Spielberg took over the reins from Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti.

"I just feel like that gig is so hard," the "30 Rock" star explained her reason to rule herself out as a contender for a host of the Oscar ceremony. "Especially for, like, a woman - the amount of months that would be spent trying on dresses alone ... no way."

A number of projects are already waiting for Bradley Cooper post-"Silver Linings Playbook", but that doesn't stop him from adding another one. The recent Oscar nominee for Best Actor has signed on to star in "Kokowaah", an English language remake of a German film.

Deadline reports that Cooper is setting up the project at Warner Bros. Pictures with Sheroum Kim. Apart from being the actor's starring vehicle, the project could end up becoming his feature directing debut. Early draft of the script was provided by Chris Shafer and Paul Vicknair, but it will be re-written by Black List scribes Scott Rothman and Rajiv Joseph.

Motown star and former The Temptations singer Richard Street passed away on Wednesday, February 27 because of pulmonary embolism. Richard's wife, Cindy Street, said that her husband had been hospitalized for a few days.

Richard experienced back pain and breathing difficulty on Friday. When he went to the hospital, doctors found blood clot in his lung. Although the condition seemed severe, Richard did his best. Cindy said, "He was really fighting for his life. He's a fighter."

Johnny Depp's representative released a statement on Wednesday, Febuary 27 that confirmed the actor would star in both "Transcendence" and "Black Mass". Depp would first begin working in the sci-fi thriller to be directed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Wally Pfister in April and move over to Barry Levinson's "Black Mass" afterwards.

"Transcendence" is financed by Alcon Entertainment's Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove and will be released by Warner Bros. Pfister will direct the film based on the screenplay by newcomer Jack Paglen. The plot and character details are still kept under wraps, but it is said to be centering on a group of scientists studying the theory of the technological singularity and the creation of a computer that can think for itself.

Anne Hathaway admits she was supposed to wear a dress designed by her dear friend Valentino, instead of Prada, at the 85th annual Oscars. She's sorry for the snafu and explains she switched outfit at last minute after learning that another star donned a gown strikingly similar to the Valentino creation she intended to wear.

"It came to my attention late Saturday night that there would be a dress worn to the Oscars that is remarkably similar to the Valentino I had intended to wear, and so I decided it was best for all involved to change my plans," the "Les Miserables" actress explains her predicament in a statement released by her publicist Stephen Huvane.

James Franco can't stand a crying woman in a new clip for "Oz: The Great and Powerful". The snippet focuses on a scene where Franco's Oz first encounters the tiny porcelain creature known as China Girl (voiced by Joey King).

China Girl tries to convince Oz to take her with him to hunt the witch. Oz, however, strictly refuses the idea and says, "We have one rule in show business. Never work with kids and animals." The little girl then starts crying hysterically and clutching to Oz's trousers as she begs to go with him. Eventually, the man gives up and allows her to join his adventure.

Mumford & Sons' "Babel" leads an overall slow album sales week to maintain its no. 1 spot in the Billboard 200 for a fifth non-consecutive time. Plunging down 66% with only 63,000 copies sold from its staggering 186,000 unit sales last week, it posts the lowest sales week for a no. 1 album since Zac Brown Band's "Uncaged" album sold a mere 48,000 back in 2012.

There were no new entries in the top ten this week, with the highest debut only managing to get to no. 20 as Buckcherry's "Confessions" sells 18,000 records on its first week run. Besides Alabama Shakes and Rihanna who jump back in to the top ten this week, all the other artists/albums seem to have only changed places/rankings from last week.

Will Ferrell will add another award acknowledging his works in comedy. The "Anchorman" actor is set to be honored with the first-ever Comedic Genius Award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, which will take place on Sunday, April 14.

MTV President, Stephen Friedman, said on Thursday, February 27, "Will Ferrell epitomizes what it means to be a comedic genius and it's only fitting that he should be the inaugural recipient of this award."

Legendary group The Rolling Stones celebrates their 50th anniversary by holding an exhibition, "Rolling Stones: 50 Years of Satisfaction". The event which will display a huge collection of the band's memorabilia will open on May 24 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. Merchandise, films, texts, and advanced technology will present the band's story from 1960 until now. The museum will also hold lectures and interview.

The items displayed are so many that they take more than two floors of the museum. The museum stated that there would be "extraordinary collections that have never been seen before by the public."

J.J. Abrams has found his robot cop for his new TV project. Michael Ealy has been cast in the pivotal role in the untitled pilot from "Star Trek" helmer Abrams and former "Fringe" showrunner J.H. Wyman.

The action-drama buddy cop show is set in not-too-distant future, when all LAPD officers are partnered with human-like androids. Ealy will portray Dorian, a mechanical officer who is partnered with LAPD officer John Kennex, which is yet to be cast. Dorian understands humanity more than his human partner.

Within hours upon getting wind of reports that he was just fired from his rock band, Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland was quick to react to the unexpected development. He sounded as surprised as anyone to hear that his two-decade long work on STP that spawned numerous hits was now coming to an end.

"I learned of my supposed 'termination' from Stone Temple Pilots this morning by reading about it in the press," Weiland responded in a statement. "Not sure how I can be 'terminated' from a band that I founded, fronted and co-wrote many of its biggest hits, but that's something for the lawyers to figure out. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to seeing all of my fans on my solo tour which starts this Friday."

Earlier this month, words ran rampant that Marvel Studios was planning a standalone Hulk film for its Phase 3. The studio hasn't said anything to clarify the rumor, but "The Avengers" helmer Joss Whedon has weighed in on the subject, admitting that the report might indeed be true.

Promoting his low-budget film "Much Ado About Nothing" in Dublin recently, Whedon was asked if there's a possibility of Marvel making a Hulk film, and the director responded, "Yes." However, the New York-born filmmaker stressed that the possibility was very tiny as stating, "But it would be very, very hard."

Van Cliburn died on early Wednesday, February 27 in Fort Worth at the age of 78. Mary Lou Falcone, his publicist and longtime friend, confirmed the death and said that Cliburn had been under treatment for bone cancer and he died at his house. "He died peacefully in his Fort Worth, Texas, home... surrounded by loved ones," she said.

Cliburn had been fighting bone cancer since last August. "Van Cliburn was an international legend for over five decades, a great humanitarian and a brilliant musician whose light will continue to shine through his extraordinary legacy," Falcone said in a statement. "He will be missed by all who knew and admired him, and by countless people he never met."

Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at Morrissey who canceled his scheduled performance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show due to "Duck Dynasty" cast appearance. Informing his audience that he had found a replacement for the rocker for the Tuesday, February 26 episode of his show, the comedian said, "There's a very good reason why I didn't dump the Duck Dynasty guys for Morrissey, and it's because they have guns."

Kimmel went on saying in his monologue, "He [Morrissey] keeps finding new ways to depress us." He then introduced a skit which promoted new "Duck Dynasty" product for vegetarians, "carrot call," for luring vegetables which was described as "yuppie food."

Norman Osborn will be featured in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" after all. While the film has already begun its filming, it is reported that Chris Cooper has just been cast as the father of Harry Osborn.

The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news, confirming that Oscar-winning Cooper will join an all-star cast of villains that includes Jamie Foxx as Electro and Paul Giamatti as The Rhino. It is still unclear when the "Adaptation" actor will begin filming.

Ricky Schroder a.k.a. Rick Schroder has responded to an allegation that he hit a female airport worker at LAX on Monday, February 25. Met at Union Station in D.C. on Wednesday, the former child actor said he never assaulted anyone earlier this week and called the whole thing a "complete misunderstanding."

Sharing his side of story in the incident, he recalled, "My phone dropped and I went to grab it ... and that's what happened." He, however, apologized to the accuser, "I apologize to you, Miss, if I hurt your feelings and I didn't mean to. Sweetheart, god bless you ... and I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."

A hilarious first trailer for "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" finally makes its round online. Opening with scenes from the first film when Flint invented rains of foods, the trailer continues to his new adventure as he discovers an island of foods.

In the island, various colorful creatures are made of foods. The jellyfish are made of sandwiches, the giraffes are created from leeks, the hippos are potatoes and many more. Even the mountain, trees and waterfall are also made of foods. Flint and his friends embark on a fun adventure in the island, but that's before they meet a monster made of taco.

Joan Rivers is clearly asking for troubles. The "Fashion Police" judge who's well known for ridiculing fellow celebrities landed in hot water after cracking jokes about Adele's full figure and Heidi Klum's German roots.

"I met Adele! Has she been on the show?" the fashion critics asked David Letterman when visiting his show recently. She's puffing out her cheeks and holding her arms away from her body to imitate a fat person, prompting audience in the studio to boo her.

Rachel McAdams and Michael Sheen are no longer an item. Various news outlets confirm that the couple who met on the set of Woody Allen's romcom "Midnight in Paris" in 2010 parts ways after dating for around two years.

It's unclear as to why the couple broke up. Rumors suggested it was long distance and constant traveling due to their hectic schedules that brought them apart. While McAdams resides in Toronto, Sheen spends most of his time between his hometown of Wales and Los Angeles to get close to his daughter.

A fan has come forward admitting she was the one who hit Harry Styles with a sneaker during a One Direction concert in Glasgow, Scotland recently. Jade Anderson, a local East Kilbride schoolgirl, apologizes for the incident insisting it was accidental and she didn't mean to hurt him.

"I just wanted him to touch something belonging to me," the teenager said as quoted by the Daily Record. "I didn't mean to him him where I hit him, I'm really embarrassed." She was escorted out of the venue after the mishap but allowed to come back in thanks to Styles and Niall Horan.
