Among the A-listers working with Cyrus on the new project are record producer and remixer Dr. Luke, who has already collaborated with the 20-year-old singer and actress on her 2009 hit "Party in the U.S.A.".

Just a couple of days ago, the former "Hannah Montana" lead revealed that rapper and record producer Tyler, The Creator will guest on her upcoming album, via a track that Cyrus wrote with hip-hop/R'n'B queen Mary J. Blige. She has also booked well-known producers Pharrell Williams, Hit-Boy and The Internz for the new project.

In the early morning of January 28, Ross was driving his silver Rolls Royce with a female companion when he heard shots being fired in his direction. Although Ross and his passenger Shateria L. Moragne-El weren't injured, he crashed his car as it was dodging the bullets which eventually landed on some buildings.

After starring in "The Paperboy", Zac Efron will tackle another edgy role in his next movie. The "Hairspray" actor has been chosen to lead a thriller movie called "The Falling" to be directed by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Efron will not only star in it but he will also serve as a co-producer alongside Goldsman, Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold. The project itself is developed at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Having been known for his villainous roles, Christoph Waltz will show his comedic skill on "Saturday Night Live". The Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actor is set to host a February 16 episode of the sketch comedy show.

Raj, the only geek who is still single on "The Big Bang Theory", will seemingly get lovestruck soon. The CBS sitcom has cast "Raising Hope" star Kate Micucci as Lucy, who is said to be a possible love interest for Kunal Nayyar's alter ego.

Details of Micucci's character are still kept under wraps, but The Hollywood Reporter says that she will appear in multiple episodes. She will be first featured in Valentine's Day episode titled "The Tangible Affection Proof".

Ron Jeremy is on the road to recovery after his surgery went well. His manager Mike Esterman says the 59-year-old porn star veteran "is now resting with complete privacy and no visitors" after the procedure "went smoothly."

Young pop star Selena Gomez shared a couple of her new photos recently taken inside a recording studio while working with the Rock Mafia music production team. The 20-year-old singer is busy at work on her new music as she is set to drop a new single in March, which she promised about to her loyal followers during her Unicef charity concert in New York more than a week ago.

Jason London sends his representative to clarify swirling rumors about what happened when he was taken into police custody at the Martini Ranch. in Scottsdale, Ariz. over the weekend. The "Dazed and Confused" actor stands by his previous statement that he did nothing wrong in the incident, insisting he fell victim to a brutal attack while being arrested.

As a part of "Doctor Who" 50th anniversary celebrations, BBC America is teaming up with BBC Cymru to co-produce a TV movie based on the cult sci-fi series. Titled "An Adventure in Space and Time", the 90-minute drama will chronicle the genesis of "Doctor Who" TV series and the Time Lord's maiden voyage in 1963.

Barbadian songstress Rihanna is working with Australian rap sensation Iggy Azalea, revealed audio engineer Marcos Tovar. "She was in the studio with Iggy earlier this month," Tovar disclosed. Nabors, who met Cadwallader in 1975 in Honolulu and now lives with him in Hawaii, told local news outlet that they "had no rights as a couple" prior to marriage. The latest episode of "American Idol" featured auditions in two cities, San Antonio and Long Beach. Opening the show was Vincent Powell, who almost made it into semifinals in the past season of "Idol". He sang "Rock Me Baby" and was sent to Hollywood.

Country music artist Gary Allan clinches his first no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with his latest album "Set You Free", selling a total of 106,000 units this week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It gives him his best sales week ever, edging the 99,000 sales of his 2005 studio effort "Tough All Over".

Just a day after it was confirmed that Warner Bros. Pictures gave green light to "Entourage" movie, executive producer Mark Wahlberg takes time to share some updates and details of the long-developed project. To MTV News, he opens up about how the project finally got greenlit.

Amid her incessant legal troubles, Lindsay Lohan becomes a big sister again to a newborn baby of her dad Michael Lohan and his girlfriend Kate Major. On Wednesday, January 30, Michael's on-and-off girlfriend gave birth to his son at a Florida hospital around 2:39 P.M. local time, a rep for the family confirms.

The new addition to the Lohan family weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measured nearly 20 inches. Michael and Kate named their little guy Landon Major Lohan. Their rep shared that LiLo's dad was with his girlfriend throughout the entire labor. The Lohan patriarch even cut the baby's umbilical cord. The rep added that both mother and baby boy were "doing great."

"How I Met Your Mother" will return for its final season. CBS officially announces that it has renewed the long-running sitcom for a ninth season, which will also be the last for the hit comedy series.

After kicking off its production in London last week, "The Muppets" sequel unleashes its very first sneak peek in form of a new still. Almost at the same time, Walt Disney Pictures also drops a press release, announcing that the upcoming puppet movie will now be officially titled "The Muppets...Again!"

Patty Andrews of Andrews Sisters has passed away. The lead singer and last surviving member of the trio died of natural causes at her home in the Los Angeles suburb of Northridge, family spokesman Alan Eichler says in a statement. She was 94.

Patty was the youngest of the singing group, which also consisted of LaVerne Sophia Andrews and Maxene Angelyn Andrews. She was only seven years old when the group was formed. Their song "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" became a hit in 1941.

Justin Timberlake is going to follow up his performance at the Super Bowl weekend with a more major gig ahead of his much-awaited new album. The "Trouble with the Curve" actor is scheduled to perform at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The 2013 event will mark the first time JT sings at the Grammys since his collaboration with Al Green, Keith Urban and Boyz II Men for "Let's Stay Together" four years ago. The upcoming gig will also support his music comeback which was marked by the release of new single "Suit & Tie".

Ron Jeremy is being treated in a Los Angeles hospital for an aneurysm that was located near his heart. TMZ reports the porn star veteran has been transferred to the intensive care unit to be prepped for surgery after his condition worsened.

According to his manager Mike Esterman, 59-year-old Jeremy drove himself to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Tuesday afternoon, January 29 after experiencing severe chest pain. The doctors treating him discovered that he had a heart aneurysm.

Barbra Streisand is added to the lineup of musical guests who will make live performances at the upcoming 85th annual Academy Awards. It will mark the second time she sings at the Oscars after her March 28, 1977 performance during the 49th annual Academy Awards at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.

"In an evening that celebrates the artistry of movies and music," says producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, "how could the telecast be complete without Barbra Streisand? We are honored that she has agreed to do a very special performance on this year's Oscars, her first time singing on the show in 36 years."
