Grammy Award-winning singer Diana Ross, the founding member and lead singer of the famous Motown group The Supremes, threw a "supreme" tantrum after she was not allowed to sit at a table inside the chic La Scala restaurant in Beverly Hills. According to New York Post, Ross was supposed to have lunch with her daughter at the posh eatery, but the diva arrived ahead of her daughter, and that unfortunate delay turned out to be the cause of the troubles that transpired soon after.

Ross arrived at the well-known Italian restaurant for a lunch date with her daughter, who was actually the one who placed the reservation, but she was not yet around when the veteran singer arrived. Ross had asked to be seated but was denied based on the eatery's policy that guests won't be allowed seating unless the complete parties arrived or they had a reservation. In spite of being refused seating, Ross still went inside of the restaurant and sat in a corner.

HBO has signed a new deal with Universal Pictures that will keep the studio's films exclusively on the cable channel until at the least the next ten years. This means that other streaming services, such as Netflix, won't get Universal's movies as its content.

"With HBO's far-reaching network of premium services, ranging from the traditional in-home experience to its mobile applications, we are pleased to continue this relationship and bring Universal and Focus Features' films to HBO subscribers for many years to come," says Rick Finkelstein, Vice Chairman and COO of Universal Pictures.

Universal Pictures has unleashed new clips from "Mama", a supernatural thriller pic produced by "Pacific Rim" helmer Guillermo del Toro. Starring Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, the clips highlight eerie scenes revolving around two mysterious-looking little girls who are rescued by Chastain's and Coster-Waldau's characters.

In one clip, Chastain and Coster-Waldau are seen welcoming the two girls to their house. One of the little girls is seen terrified for no apparent reason as she keeps hiding her face behind her sister's back. In another clip, Chastain is seen playing a guitar alone in the kitchen when suddenly the light dies down and she's freaked out by the sudden appearance of one of the girls on top of the kitchen's table.

Fans of M.I.A. will have to wait a few more months before laying their ears on the English singer's new music. Her fourth album titled "Matangi" has been pushed back to an April 15 release after it was deemed "too positive" by her record label, Interscope. The new set was originally slated for a December release date.

According to an interview with Australia's Gold Coast Bulletin, the "Bad Girls" songstress explained that the delay was mainly because of her label's alleged dissatisfaction with the positive material contained in her new album. "I thought I'd finished it. I finished it and then I handed the record in, like a couple of months ago," said the 37-year-old singer. "At the moment, I've been told it's too positive. So we're having a bit of an issue at the label. ...They're like, 'You need to like darken it up a bit.' "

"Deception" has drawn comparison to "Revenge" due to its premise, in which a young woman lives among a wealthy family to uncover their dark secrets. Answering people's curiosity if the new drama is NBC's answer to the ABC soap, creator Liz Heldens revealed the real inspiration behind her show.

"Two of my favorite movies are 'Donnie Brasco' and 'The Departed'," Heldens said at the TCA winter press tour on Sunday, January 6. "I was thinking, 'How can you do a undercover show with a female protagonist?' " She added, "I asked myself, 'Could 'Donnie Brasco' and the movie 'Sabrina' have a baby?' That was how it happened."

A$AP Rocky is on the track to release his debut studio album amidst his recent legal issue. Set to hit stores in the U.S. on January 15, "LongLiveA$AP" has spawned two singles, "Goldie" and "F**kin' Problems".

Featuring Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar, the second single "F**kin' Problems" is more successful than its predecessor. The Noah Shebib and Sean Garrett-written track peaked at no. 24 on Billboard Hot 100 and no. 6 on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, already reaching Gold status with more than 500,000 digital sales.

Brandi Ganville, one of the stars of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season two, has announced via Twitter that she is throwing out the gown she wore during her wedding to actor Eddie Cibrian. Two years after their divorce was finalized, Glanville has decided to donate her wedding dress to a soon-to-be army wife. She writes, "I donated my wedding gown to a soon to be army wife & I still haven't heard about who received it! Well I hope it makes someone very happy."

Abrams, as quoted by Entertainment Weekly, opened up about how he convinced his actors and crew to keep all the information about his projects secret from reporters. "I will sit in a meeting before a movie with 80-some people, heads of departments, and literally say that all I ask is that we preserve the experience for the viewer," he stated.

Beliebers got another surprise from their idol Justin Bieber as the teen sensation revealed that he added two more tracks to the previously announced eight tracks he had lined-up for his upcoming "Believe Acoustic" album set for release on January 29. Two previously unreleased tracks "Yellow Raincoat" and "I Would" are the latest additions to the acoustic album, which will feature the stripped-down versions of "Boyfriend", "As Long As You Love Me" and "Beauty and a Beat".

The pop singer best known for his worldwide hit single "Baby" broke the good news that he included more songs to his second acoustic versions album via Twitter, after he posted the artwork for the album's official cover. The teen star tweeted, "Focused. #BELIEVEacoustic," together with the image that revealed the titles of some of the tracks that comprise the latest studio effort. Bieber's pronouncement comes in light of a recent controversy regarding the leaked pictures of him smoking weed.

After the electronic dance music team-up of Redfoo and SkyBlu, together known as LMFAO, announced in September last year that their tandem was going on a temporary hiatus, Skyblu returns to the scene to embark on his own solo career with his new single "Pop Bottles". The elctro-pop dance tune turns out to be quite similar to the classic LMFAO sound as heard on their biggest hits "Sexy and I Know It" and "Party Rock Anthem".

SkyBlu's latest work is reminiscent of his party-rocking ways with his old partner-in-crime Redfoo, as he sings about drinking and hitting the club in the track. "Pop bottles, make it rain/ Every night it's all the same/ Hit the club, hit the after party, then we hit the plane," rings the chorus of the track, which also features up-and-coming singer Mark Rosas from Big Bad University.

It's been only five months since Nadya Suleman got off welfare but now the Octomom has signed up once again for the much-needed government assistance. The mother, who came into international attention for giving birth to octuplets back in 2009, has gone back on welfare after her savings were depleted following her rehab back in October.

Suleman entered the Chapman House Rehabilitation Center in California to cure her addiction to the anti-anxiety drug Xanax. The mother of 14 kids, who already had 6 kids prior to having the octuplets, earned substantially from doing porn with "Octomom: Home Alone" and other strip club gigs but had apparently used up all her savings on her rehab, forcing her to sign up again for welfare.

Will Thor have another love interest apart from Jane Foster in "Thor: The Dark World"? Jaimie Alexander recently hinted that the upcoming movie might explore deeper to the relationship between her character Lady Sif and the God of Thunder.

"Yes, there is that... We sort of explore the Sif - Thor relationship," the South Carolina-born actress told I Am Rogue. When the interviewer asked if the relationship was in romantic way, she responded, "Yeah, kinda."

Justin Bieber has had a picture of Indian's head added to his tattoo collection. Showing off the new art work, the 18-year-old pop singer took it to Instagram on Sunday, January 6 to share a photo of the tattoo etched on the back of his shoulder.

"My grandfather always took me to the stratford culliton every friday night this is for u Grampa ... My man @chenterios hooked it up," he wrote in a caption of the image. The tattoo is actually the logo for the Stratford Cullitons, a junior ice hockey team based in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Chente Rios was the one who inked it on the singer's body.

After a series of speculations that Guillermo del Toro was using GLaDOS' voice in "Pacific Rim" trailer, the director finally confirmed that the rumor was true. The filmmaker admitted that he's a big fan of the "Portal" game series and said that the GLaDOS voicer, Ellen McLain, would indeed lend her voice to A.I. in his upcoming monsters vs. robots film.

In a recent interview with Toronto Sun, del Toro explained how he approached "Portal" developers, Valve, just to get the license to use GLaDOS' voice in the trailer. "I wanted very much to have her, because I'm a big 'Portal' fan," said the 48-year-old Mexican director. "But just a as a wink. She's not cake-obsessed. She's not out to destroy humanity."

The first footage for Ryan Gosling and Nicolas Winding Refn's latest collaboration, "Only God Forgives", has been dropped online. Highlighting an Asian setting, the video offers a quick glimpse at the violent tone of the movie. It sees a man's hand being stabbed with a knife, a gunfight, a boxing fight and other intense scenes. It ends with Gosling hinting that "it's time to meet the devil."

Set in Bangkok, Thailand, "Only God Forgives" sees Gosling playing an Englishman named Julian. Ten years ago, Julian killed a cop and went on the run. Now, he manages a Thai boxing club as a front for a drugs operation. Respected in the criminal underworld, deep inside, he feels empty.

Hip-hop artist Nelly is back with a new single "Hey Porsche" following his 2010 hit "Just a Dream". The new track, which sounds much like a radio-friendly tune, is Nelly's latest work after coming out with a couple of mixtapes, "O.E.MO" and "Scorpio Season", in the last two years, and after a successful coaching stint on "The Next: Fame is at Your Doorstep" alongside Gloria Estefan, John Rich and Joe Jonas.

In "Hey Porsche", the Grammy Award-winning rapper metaphorically talks about the object of his affection as if she was the much sought after luxury vehicle. "I wanna take your top off/ celebrate this champagne pop-off/ Yeah, we could turn the clocks off/ No rush, baby we could just park somewhere/ I don't need nobody's permission/ No keys, push start to ignition," he raps.

Prepare for more shocking twists when "Revolution" returns with the second half of its inaugural season in March. Speaking during the show's panel at TCA winter press tour, producer Eric Kripke hinted that surprises would come more often in the new episodes.

"I felt like we could pick up the pace of the stunning revelations. I thought maybe the pace of the shocking surprises was a little too slow... We wanted to have a second half that was bigger and better and more exciting," he teased. "It will be more shocking, more often."

The prestigious Hollywood film awards season in 2013 was kicked off in Palm Springs Convention Center over the weekend when the 2013 Palm Springs International Film Festival handed out its special prizes to a number of acclaimed people in the industry. A host of Golden Globe nominees and Oscar hopefuls were on hand at the Saturday, January 5 event, including Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, Naomi Watts and Helen Mirren.

Affleck, along with Alan Arkin and Bryan Cranston, received the Ensemble Performance Award for his highly-praised directorial effort "Argo". Cooper and Watts, meanwhile, were honored with Desert Palm Achievement Awards for Best Actor and Actress respectively.

There's only one day left before Directioners finally get to see the full length music video of One Direction's single "Kiss You". The British-Irish boyband have released the last of 5 teasers they have made to drum up more interest for their eagerly-awaited new clip. In the final teaser that opens up with the promotional bid for the upcoming video as "the music video blockbuster that's causing a splash," the boys appear shirtless as they are being shot in front of a green screen as though they are riding the waves.

The latest teaser shows the boys, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, standing side by side on top of surfboards and acting goofy in front of a big green screen set up as a surfing backdrop. The short clip has surely made the millions of One Direction followers more excited for the full video premiere that takes place on Vevo on January 7.

There's still two months before the new season of "The Celebrity Apprentice" premieres, but NBC has unveiled the first look at it. The "All-Stars" edition brings back celebrity contestants from previous seasons to give them a second chance.

The promo video opens with Marilu Henner, Claudia Jordan, Stephen Baldwin, Omarosa, Trace Adkins and Brande Roderick sharing the impact of their previous firings. As they work together in teams, it comes as no surprise that there will be a catfight and a heated argument in the boardroom.

Jack Scalia is facing a legal issue stemming from his arrest at LAX in October 2012. The veteran actor, who is widely known for his role as Nicholas Pearce on "Dallas", has just been slapped with two misdemeanor weapon charges, TMZ reports. If found guilty, he could end up facing prison time and a hefty fine.

The problem started last year when the 62-year-old actor was busted by TSA agents at Los Angeles International Airport. He was found with an unloaded 9mm Glock and a novelty police badge in his carry-on bag. Officials said that the weapon was found after his bag was put through a screener.

"Texas Chainsaw 3D" claims victory on North American box office during the first weekend in 2013. Exceeding expectations in its debut, the thriller pic takes in $21.7 million amid the crowded box office race in which the film has to compete against a handful of critics' darling movies.

With the result, the seventh installment of the "Texas Chainsaw" film franchise scores one of the biggest openings for the first weekend in January for a horror movie. It, however, can't best last year's $33.7 million opening gained by "The Devil Inside" on the same January weekend.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation group has spoken out about Azealia Banks calling Perez Hilton a "fa**ot." They react to the female rapper's insistence that it wasn't homophobic slur, saying, "Banks' claim that the word 'fa**ot' doesn't mean a gay male is not true."

"Regardless of her intent or her personal definition, what matters is the meaning given to that word by those who hear it, and the damage it causes when they do. Undoubtedly there are gay kids who follow her on Twitter who hear this word in an entirely different context."

Mama June of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" apparently realizes that fame won't last. Instead of using their earnings from the TLC reality TV series to buy expensive stuffs, the family matriarch saves the money to make sure Alaina Thompson and her siblings are financially secured even when time gets rough.

She equally divides the money, $15,000 to $20,000 per episode, among Alana, 7, Lauryn, 12, Jessica, 15, Anna, 18, and Anna's daughter Kaitlyn. She requests it be sent directly into the girls' trust fund so that she won't be tempted to spend it herself. "TLC puts the money into the girls' trust accounts for me and then I get an email telling me how much everyone gets," she says.

Thomas Gibson had a run-in with police early Sunday, January 6. The "Criminal Minds" actor was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under influence about 1:37 A.M. at the intersection of 11th and Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles.

The Aaron Hotchner depicter was pulled over by cop after driving through a section of a street barricaded for the inaugural half-marathon "New Year's Race - Los Angeles at Night". He was subsequently arrested after refusing to take a breathalyzer test.

Justin Bieber left his pot smoking drama behind as he came to visit Millie Flamm, a 7-year-old Belieber who's been battling leukemia for the past three years. The teen heartthrob took a special pit stop before his concert in Utah over the weekend.

The Canadian singer met Millie at Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City. He re-tweeted pictures of them posing together for the camera. She sat on his lap and grinned when he kissed her cheek. During his visit, he also serenaded her with his song.
