Timbaland Wants to Be Involved in Drake's Alleged Plan for Aaliyah Album

Drake has not confirmed rumor that he is producing Aaliyah's posthumous album, but Timbaland has spoken up about the possible record. In a recent interview with Power 105's "The Breakfast Club", the Virginia-born rapper made it clear that Drizzy should reach out to him and Missy Elliott if he indeed is working on an Aaliyah record.

"I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if he do it, it should be with me and Missy," Timbo commented on the rumor. "The proper way for him to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. The best decision, what the fans would want to see is all three of us. It can't be something to make money off of 'cause I think it's wrong to make money off the dead."

Lollapalooza Day 1: Black Sabbath and Haley Reinhart Rock the Show

Lollapalooza Music Festival was officially kicked off on August 3 at the Grant Park in Chicago. It was stuffed with must-see performances by the likes of Black Sabbath and Haley Reinhart. Other musical guests included The Black Keys, Metric and The Shins.

Ozzy Osbourne and his bandmates made triumphant performances on the Friday gig, kicking off their set with an eponymous song before rocking the house with such tracks as "Beyond the Wall of Sleep" and "Under the Sun" and closing it with "Paranoid" as an encore.

Since it was announced that Philip Seymour Hoffman was cast as Plutarch Heavensbee in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire", some fans have been questioning about why such a "deeply serious" Oscar winner like Hoffman was interested to join the blockbuster film franchise. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, the acclaimed actor opened up that he's strongly attracted to Plutarch whom he dubbed a revolutionary.

"I liked the people involved. It's a great group of actors. It's a great environment. And the character was something I was attracted to," he said. "It was just an interesting role. He's somebody who's part of the revolution, but you don't know it. The idea that somebody would be risking themselves in such an extreme way to join something that's that dangerous because he thinks it's the future... that's interesting stuff, you know?"

Arnold got punished when he left the camp without permission to join the Junior Mr. Europe contest in Germany while he was serving a mandated year in the army. The Austria-born actor was later released because the officials felt "uncomfortable."

Another day is another special treat for Gleeks from Ryan Murphy. The creator of the musical series has just shared more deleted scenes from "Glee", one of which is taken from the Michael Jackson tribute episode in season 3.

The said scene is set at the Dalton Academy choir room where the Warblers sing the late King of Pop's "I Want You Back" with Rachel, Blaine, Kurt, Santana and Artie watching. The New Directions kids claim they are not impressed with the performance, but they are actually hiding their worry about their groups' upcoming duel at the regionals.

Whitney Houston is featured prominently in the first clip of her last movie, "Sparkle". In it, the late diva is seen having an argument with her on-screen daughter Jordin Sparks. The mother is seen sticking to her strict household rules and not allowing the daughter to pursue music career, but the younger lady insists that she must explore her talent.

Aside from the said clip, there are two more snippets for the motown drama that have made its way out online. One of them features a conversation at a bar between a talent agent and a guy who happens to be the boyfriend of one of Jordin's siblings. The other clip, meanwhile, shows Jordin and her on-screen sisters wowing the audience at the bar with their stunning stage performance and vocal chops.

A day after Jimmy Fallon was rumored to be eyed as the host for the 2013 Academy Awards, it is now reported that two acclaimed producers are approached to produce next year's Oscars telecast. Los Angeles Times reports that the two names are former AMPAS President Sid Ganis and "Saturday Night Live" veteran Lorne Michaels.

Michaels himself has been mentioned as a possible producer for next year's Oscars with Fallon tackling the hosting duty. However, ABC which airs the annual prestigious event reportedly has objection on hiring the two since they work for rival channel NBC. As for Ganis, his camp has yet to comment on the report.

Cuba Gooding Jr. has officially been freed from the misdemeanor battery charges stemming from an alleged altercation in a New Orleans bar earlier this week. The 44-year-old actor was initially accused of shoving a female bartender of Old Absinthe House.

In an arraignment hearing on Friday, August 3, no one pressed charges so the city decided to dismiss the case altogether. The hearing lasted briefly, and Gooding did not appear before Judge Sean Early. "This ends the case," city spokesperson Ryan Berni said.

Snooki and BFF JWoww will be back for another round of fun and partying. MTV announced on Friday, August 3 during TCA that the "Jersey Shore" girls' reality show "Snooki & JWoww" has been renewed for a second season.

"Snooki & JWoww" premiered to 2.4 million viewers in June. The number is considerably low compared to its original series, "Jersey Shore", which raked in 7.6 million viewers this year, as well as fellow spin-off "The Pauly D Project", which took 2.9 million viewers on its March debut.

Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe has been released from a Czech prison in which he had spent the last five weeks on accusation of manslaughter. The 41-year-old has posted a 400,000 bail and is returning to the United States.

Prosecutors took him into custody because the singer may not return to the country. He was arrested on June 27 at an airport in Prague and charged with manslaughter stemming from the death of a fan in 2010. It was alleged that Blythe pushed the fan, identified as Daniel N., causing an injury to the head which killed the fan 14 days later.

Stevie Wonder Divorcing Wife of 11 Years

Stevie Wonder is ending his 11 years marriage to fashion designer wife Kai Millard Morris. The 62-year-old singer filed a divorce paper using his legal name Stevland Morris on Thursday, July 26.

According to the documents which were obtained by TMZ, the couple has been separated since October 2009. Wonder cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason of the split. He is asking for a joint custody of their two sons, ten-year-old Kailand and seven-year-old Mandla. In return, he has agreed to pay spousal and child support.
