Fans went wild as the Canadian singer slowly started her song. Every time she would move to the edge of the stage, the eager spectators would reach up to her.

Fans who hounded Lady GaGa in New York over the weekend got a very special surprise from the Mother Monster herself. The surprise premiere of sorts happened when the singer was trying to get into her car. Once she boarded, she played an unreleased song on the speakers of the vehicle.

A video capturing the moment has surfaced on the Internet. The Little Monsters were so excited to see their queen and kept yelling and talking. One fan could even be clearly heard shouting, "GaGa! Listen to my CD!" Because of this, the lyrics of the song could barely be heard.

'Castle' Taps 'Heroes' Alum as Beckett's New Antagonist

It seems that the tension is going to be high in "Castle" season 5, which will air every Monday at 10 P.M. on ABC starting this fall. TVLine learns that the show will feature a new antagonist for the beloved detective Kate Beckett and he will be portrayed by Jack Coleman, who is best known for playing the father of Hayden Panettiere's Claire Bennet on "Heroes".

To the site, series creator Andrew Marlowe describes the character as a "well-liked U.S. senator who finds himself in conflict with Beckett." While further details of Coleman's alter ego are yet to be available, it is likely that he has something to do with the murder of Beckett's mother since previous report suggested that one of the two suspects in the case was a senator.

Heath Ledger's father has responded to rumor that James Holmes, who killed 12 moviegoers and injured more than 50 others in a Colorado theater, called himself The Joker after he was arrested by Police. "We can't blame Heath or the character," Kim Ledger told Herald Sun.

"It's (The Joker) fictitious. I don't know what this does to the character," he continued sharing his thoughts about the character played by his late son. "I think that's the least of my worries. I'd be more worried about the families and other people involved in the tragedy rather than anything else.''

"I've never actually read a comic in my life," the Oscar winner said, as quoted by The Daily Journal. "That's a lie. I did read 'The Walking Dead' in the last year or two, which I thoroughly enjoyed. But I've never read a superhero comic. I've literally never turned a single page of a single superhero comic."

Two much-talked-about upcoming movies, "Life of Pi" and "The Canyons", have unveiled each of their very first poster. The Ang Lee-directed fantasy movie unveils its first one-sheet, which features its lead caharacter Pi Patel standing tall on a boat along with a gigantic Bengal tiger that flashes out its sharp pointed teeth.

The Paul Schrader-directed sexual thriller, meanwhile, offers an artistic poster that captures a panorama of Los Angeles. Designed like a piece of crumpled paper, the one-sheet also has a tagline that reads, "IT'S NOT THE HILLS."

Letting movie lovers know that the long-gestating project is still in the works, Branagh took some time to share some updates on the film while revealing that he would tackle the villainous role in his upcoming directorial stint.

Speaking of his role in it, the Irish star told Collider, "I don't tend to think of him as a villain, but if you're playing a villain, you don't think of him as a villain. You just think, 'My Guy.' " He added, "The character is a great anti-thesis, but it isn't as simple as that. It's great to see a character in this film with Jack Ryan. It's just a very strong, very interesting, complicated, complex character. When the project first came my way, it was really to do that."

After yanking off the trailer of "Gangster Squad" following the Colorado shooting tragedy during the midnight screening of "The Dark Knight Rises", Warner Bros. Pictures reportedly plans to re-edit the upcoming mob thriller. Moreover, the studio is reportedly considering to push back the release date of the Ryan Gosling-starring film.

According to Reuters, Warners is planning to recut a scene that features a movie-theaters shooting in "Gangster Squad". It is said that the studio's execs are expected to hold a meeting on Monday, July 23 to discuss whether to remove or edit the said shooting scene. During the meeting, they are also expected to decide whether the September 7 release of the film should be changed or not.

'Dark Knight Rises' Collects $161.1 Million on Weekend Amid Aurora Tragedy

Sources said "The Dark Knight Rises" gathered around $161.1 million on its debut weekend. The number is big but relatively far from the projected $180 million to $200 million income. The second movie "The Dark Knight" debuted with $158 million and went on grossing over $1 billion worldwide.

According to Deadline's sources, "Dark Knight Rises" brought in $76.1 million Friday, July 20. However, the number dropped 41% on Saturday mostly because of the midnight shows, taking $46.2 million in total. The Sunday intake is projected at $39.3 million.
