A brand new music video for 's new single, "Burn It Down", has come out for viewing pleasure. Premiered on Thursday, May 24 evening as part of "MTV First", the official visual is directed by the rock band's own DJ, Joe Hahn, and is filled with sci-fi special effects. Near the end, still images of the band bursting into flames take over.
In an interview with MTV, lead singer opened up about Hahn's hardline approach in making music videos. "Joe really goes for it. And, for whatever reason, I usually get it the worst. I've almost drowned, I had all this powder thrown in my face," the 36-year-old said with a laugh. "On this new one, I was sweating like crazy. It was intense."
