"Grimm" has received the good news that it's picked up for a second season. NBC has renewed the fantasy procedural series, which centers on David Giuntoli's homicide detective character who has just learned that he's a descendent of a long line of hunters charged with stopping the proliferation of supernatural creatures in the world.

The show's writer Akela Cooper quickly took it to his Twitter page to announce the renewal. "Just heard the good news: #GRIMM IS GETTING A SECOND SEASON!!" he wrote on Friday, March 16. "Walk into the office this morning & our showrunners David Greenwalt & Jim Kouf tell me the good news: #Grimm is picked up 4 a second season!"

Guy Pearce goes death-defying in a new clip for his upcoming sci-fi film, "Lock-Out". In the fresh snippet, the actor, who will soon be seen playing an ambitious entrepreneur in "Prometheus", is featured having a fierce fist fight with a bad guy. The intense brawl, however, doesn't take place on the land but in the air.

Pearce's Snow is a falsely convicted ex-government agent. His only chance of freedom is to accept a dangerous mission and rescue the president's daughter from rioting prisoners at an outer space maximum security prison. Tackling the part as the president's daughter, Emilie, is "Twilight" actress Maggie Grace.

Jennie Garth's life post her split from husband of 11 years, Peter Facinelli, is shared in some sneak peeks to her new reality show "Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country". The Kelly Taylor of "Beverly Hills, 90210" takes her three daughters, Luca (14), Lola (9), and Fiona (5), to a California farm to escape the glamorous lifestyle in Los Angeles.

The show captures her activities, including buying two cows in a bidding war with a "cocky" cowboy, feeding her kettle and goofing around with her children during a dinner. She is additionally seen addressing how she will run her life with three young girls now that they no longer live with Facinelli.

Jennifer Lopez doesn't think badly of Benny Medina despite his recent comments in Vogue magazine about her letting "obsessive guys pursue her." In fact, the "On the Floor" hitmaker came to her longtime manager's defense when asked about the matter, sharing her belief that his words have been misconstrued.

Speaking to Laura Saltman of Access Hollywood, 42-year-old singer said, "I know Benny and he's like my best friend, like I said, my creative soul mate, and I know the way he says things and I know he would never say anything that would be hurtful to me in anyway." She added, "So things can be taken out of context and you know I've done interviews for a long time."

Nicki Minaj has unveiled song selection for her album "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded", which is slated for April 3 in the United States. The female rapper fills the new CD with nineteen songs for its standard edition, and adds three extra tracks for its deluxe package.

She collaborates with Cam'ron and Rick Ross in "I Am Your Leader", joins forces with Nas, Drake and Young Jeezy in "Champion", and teams up with Chris Brown in "Right by My Side". There's also a song called "Sex in the Lounge" which features Lil Wayne and Bobby V.

Shannon Magrane has laid bare her thoughts on why she got voted off "American Idol" this week. Speaking to reporters after the Thursday, March 15 results show, she admitted she has made mistake in song choice.

"I don't think I picked the right ones," the 16-year-old said. "It's really hard with song choice, especially because I'm 16 years old. You can't pick these big songs that are all about love. America will be wondering, 'Why is she singing these big love songs? What has she gone through?' "

Jason Aldean has made public a music video to support his newest single "Fly Over States". Filming the clip at an "airplane graveyard" at the Smyrna, Tennessee airport, the country music crooner is seen performing the song at a hangar and inside a plane cabin.

"We always seem to find stuff like this. My director, Wes Edwards, who has shot most of my videos, is really good at finding stuff like this that looks like crap and making it look really, really cool on film," he told the Tennessean. Of the planes, he said, "They're just kind of piled up, sitting here giving birds a nice home."

A former "American Idol" contestant is currently being hospitalized as a result of one bad car crash. Asia'h Epperson, who competed against the likes of David Cook and David Archuleta on season 7 of the show, was left with multiple injuries after getting involved in a car accident on Wednesday, March 14.

"She is currently recovering from the accident with her family," a representative for the semifinalist told the press. "We are hoping for a speedy recovery and would like to thank all of her fans for their prayers and support. Her family has ask that for everyone to please be considerate of her privacy during this time so that she may focus on her recovery."

After uncovering a first look at WWE star Dave Bautista as one of the bounty hunters in "Riddick" sequel, Vin Diesel shared a new photo that gives a first look at another villainous character. Taking to his Facebook page, the lead actor posted the on-set photo that sees Katee Sackhoff as Nordic mercenary Dahl.

Channeling her inner lady killer, the blond beauty looks tough in a sleeveless black outfit complete with skintight pants and a gun holster. Along with the picture, Diesel wrote a caption that read, "Not all Mercs are spineless... in fact some are downright sexy..." Diesel explained that the actress has wrapped filming on Friday, March 16 at 5.45 A.M. "after a long night of rain, action and wires."

Katy Perry is going to ditch her sophisticated look in upcoming music video for her latest single "Part of Me". Channeling her inner tough soldier, she wears a full army gear and conceals her beautiful face with camouflaged paint in its official teaser.

The soon-to-be-released music video was filmed on a military base earlier this year. It's going to premiere in full on Wednesday, March 21 on MTV, and will be preceded by a 30-minute interview with Katy on MTV.com.

MTV will not extend "Teen Mom" beyond its fourth season. The network has said in a statement released to Us Weekly that the four cast member, Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Farrah Abraham, will bid goodbye in the forthcoming season, which hasn't got a premiere date.

"Season 4 will be the final season of 'Teen Mom' with Maci, Catelynn, Amber and Farrah," MTV announced. "They will continue to be a part of our MTV family, and we're thankful to these brave young women for sharing their stories and helping to make a positive impact on teen pregnancy prevention."

Speculations that Bobbi Kristina might have gotten engaged to her "adopted" brother, Nick Gordon, have grown bigger and bigger by the day. After the only daughter of late Whitney Houston added more fuel to the rumors by wearing a diamond ring during recent PDA-filled outing, new report came out that her family is trying to talk her out of it.

Confirming that Bobbi is indeed engaged to Nick, one source spilled to PEOPLE, "The family is trying to coax her away from it." Another inside source told Hollywood Life that Bobbi's grandmother, Cissy Houston, is "worried sick" over her because she feels the 19-year-old "is heading in the wrong direction."

Adding piles to her "MDNA" song previews before the album release, Madonna unleashes a snippet for a fresh track called "Beautiful Killer". In this new dancey song, the "Like a Virgin" hitmaker sings about falling for a mystery man.

"I like your silhouette when you stand on the street/ Like a samurai, you can handle the heat / Makes me wanna pray for a haunted man," she delivers the flirty lyrics. A new clip from Tarsem Singh's "Mirror Mirror" has been debuted. The snippet presents a funny scene where Armie Hammer's Prince Andrew Alcott and his aide enter a snowy woods. Alcott is curious about what kind of creatures living in the woods when suddenly a group of "tall" bandits come out and attack him.

Getting shocked by the sudden raid, Alcott screams, "Giants!", before starting to confront them with his swords. Outnumbered, the prince and his aide lost in the fight. Suddenly the "giants" reveal their real figures to Alcott. Finding out that they're just a gang of dwarves, the prince laughs, "You can't expect me to fight you! You're minuscule!"

Misha Collins' Castiel is back in the next episode of "Supernatural". Dean meets his old friend again when trying to save his brother Sam, who ends up in a mental hospital after Lucifer drives him to the breaking point.

Dean calls every hunter he knows for help and one of them leads him to Castiel, who is described as a healer instead of an angel. Dean is beyond relieved to see the person who once knocked down the wall in Sam's head, believing he can reconstruct it. However, it appears that Castiel has no memory of him being an angel.

Justin Bieber has two cover arts for his upcoming single "Boyfriend", but he wants his fans to decide which should be the final pick. "Which one did you choose?" he asks his Twitter followers. On his official site, it's announced, "Tweet your favorite cover. The cover with the most tweets wins."

Both of the artworks see Bieber rocking an unbuttoned checkered shirt. One of the pictures features the teen singer looking away from the camera, while the other has him running his hand through his hair and looking straight at the lens.

A movie about the history of MTV is about to be developed in the near future. Variety has learned that Brett Ratner is nearing a deal with Sony Pictures to make a feature film revolving around the music channel's rise in power and popularity throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

The "Tower Heist" helmer has planned to work on the film by adapting a non-fiction book by Craig Marks and Rob Tannenbaum called "I Want My MTV: The Uncensored Story of the Music Video Revolution". In addition to producing it along with Jimmy Miller, Ratner might sign on to tackle the directing duty.

The jury in Nicollette Sheridan's wrongful termination lawsuit against ABC is "hopelessly deadlocked." On Friday, March 16, the jurors still haven't reached a verdict after two days of deliberations with the foreman of the jury hinting they are split 8-4.

Judge Elizabeth Allen White told the jurors to go home and think about the case over the weekend, before returning to deliberate on Monday, March 19. She added, "If you still can't reach a verdict, we will declare a mistrial."

Neve Campbell is going to become a mother. The 38-year-old actress, who is famous for her portrayal of Julia Salinger on '90s series "Party of Five", is pregnant with her first child, her representative has confirmed. The rep added to PEOPLE that she and boyfriend JJ Field "are thrilled" by the baby news.

The confirmation of Campbell's pregnancy came just a day after she was spotted with a visible baby bump. On Thursday, March 15, the actress who reprises her role as Sidney Prescott in "Scream 4" movie franchise ran some errands in Los Angeles. Director Christopher Nolan has almost completed "The Dark Knight Rises". While moviegoers will have to wait until July 20 to watch the highly anticipated DC Comics film, Warner Bros.' executives have had the opportunity to see Nolan's first cut of the last installment of his Batman trilogy.

Multiple insiders revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that on Friday, March 16, Nolan has presented a rough cut of the much awaited Caped Crusader pic to Warners' toppers. Those who attended the screening included chief Jeff Robinov and production president Greg Silverman.

"The Rosie Show" has got the boot after only one season. OWN announced on Friday, March 16 that it canceled the talk show hosted by Rosie O'Donnell. The daily program's final episode will be taped on Tuesday, March 20 and aired on Friday, March 30 in its 7 P.M. time slot.

"I thank Rosie from the bottom of my heart for joining me on this journey," the network's owner Oprah Winfrey said in a statement. "She has been an incredible partner, working to deliver the best possible show every single day."

Right before his arrest in front of Sudanese embassy in Washington D.C., George Clooney stated it clear that he knew he was "standing on the right side of history". The actor, accompanied by a number of political figures as well as his father, has been fighting for the Darfur crisis for years, getting himself handcuffed this time in a protest against the starvation movement made by the government.

"I'll stand together here with my father, so that at one moment in time when you people ask you where were you, where did you stand I want to say I'm standing on the right side of history," the actor told NBC's Andrea Mitchell before police escorted him away. He and the rest of the protesters were placed in the back of a Secret Service van.

Although her marriage to Mario Lopez ended more than seven years ago, Ali Landry still remembers how she found out he was cheating on her. Keith Richards initiated a truce between him and fellow The Rolling Stones member, Mick Jagger, whom he bashed in his 2010 memoir titled "Life". Richards made an apology to Jagger, enabling the band to celebrate the band's 50 years of career and conduct a world tour in peace.
