Eva Longoria and Kal Penn Named Obama's Co-Chairs

Two celebrities will back up the re-election campaign of President Barack Obama. On Wednesday, February 22, Eva Longoria and Kal Penn were named national "co-chairs" of Obama's campaign, along with 33 other strategic supporters, including some Democratic politicians and volunteers.

Both Longoria and Penn are known as loyal supporters of Obama. She openly campaigned for him the last time and he even served as Associate Director of the White House's Office of Public Engagement. As the "co-chairs", the actors would help Obama in building strategies for the next election. Their involvement is expected to lead to other celebrity endorsements.

Bam Margera tells the world that he was not breaking any law when he was arrested on Monday, February 20 and the police did not book him for any crime. The "Jackass" star was still wondering why he was taken to jail in New Orleans and spent a night behind bars when all he did was jumping into a pool with full clothes on.

"Yeah, I was swimming in a pool with my clothes on at Mardi Gras," Margera said, adding, "Not really a good story ... but that's what happened." Sources told TMZ that he was soaking wet when handcuffed by officers in the French Quarter of Mardi Gras party. Margera said the police could not answer him when he asked why he was brought to the station.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has finally reached a settlement with publicist Jonathan Jaxson, who made the allegations, and received public apology from him.

"Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson," said attorney Todd Wilson in a statement to E! News. "As part of the confidential settlement, Mr. Jaxson has issued a public apology to Kim. Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter."

Kitsch was all smiles as he greeted some female fans and posed for the swarming cameramen at the special screening event. The actor playing the titular hero in the novel-adapted movie looked dapper in a traditional two-piece black suit.

A "Seinfeld" actor is being hospitalized in critical condition after surviving what appears to be a failed suicide attempt. Daniel von Bargen, the actor playing George Costanza's boss Mr. Kruger on the '90s TV series, shot himself in the head on Monday, February 20 morning, but managed to made a 911 call from his Cincinnati apartment afterward.

In the graphic 911 tape obtained by TMZ, the 61-year-old told the dispatcher, "I've shot myself in the head... and I need help." When asked if the incident was accidental, he confessed, "No, I was supposed to go to the hospital today and I didn't want to, so I shot myself but it didn't work." He went on to explain that he suffers from diabetes and added, "They were supposed to amputate at least a few toes."

Though "The Hunger Games" would not open in cinemas until March 23, fans of the novel-adapted movie could secure tickets for the opening night seats a month earlier. The tickets for conventional and IMAX theaters are available for purchase on the film's official website starting from Wednesday morning, February 22.

The advance tickets are also available on Fandango. Only in a few hours after being released on Wednesday, the ticket sales were dominating 83% of the site's total sales. On Wednesday, February 22, the AMPAS announced that actor Leonardo DiCaprio has become the primary benefactor who bought the iconic shoes worn by Judy Garland in the 1939 movie for the yet-to-be-completed museum.

DiCaprio has led a group called "angel donors", whose gifts to the Academy Foundation enabled the purchase. Conan O'Brien Extends Deal With TBS Until 2014

Conan O'Brien is on TBS to stay. The talk show host has just signed a two-year deal with the cable network that will keep his show "Conan" on air until April 2014. "I am excited to continue my run with TBS because they have been fantastic partners," O'Brien said in a statement. "This means Iíll be taping episodes of 'Conan' well into the Ron Paul presidency."

"Conan", which was conceived after his ugly exit from NBC's "The Tonight Show", has shown a steady growth in rating over the past months. The show has received 1.1 million viewers in average with 407,000 adults 18-34 and 702,000 adults 18-49, Nielsen said. "The success of Conan also extends well beyond the show's TBS telecasts to include widespread DVR, online and mobile viewing, interaction through Twitter, Facebook and TeamCoco.com," the network said.

Kourtney Kardashian has shared the good news that she is expecting a baby girl. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has had a two-year-old son with boyfriend Scott Disick.

"We feel so blessed to be having a little girl and to be able to share this new experience with Mason," Kourtney tells E! News. She also blogged on the same day, "I'm so excited to reveal that we are having a baby girl! This is an amazing blessing and Scott and I are so thrilled."

MTV Releases Trailer of Special 'Demi Lovato: Stay Strong'

Demi Lovato is going to shed more light into her struggle. In a primetime special for MTV called "Stay Strong", the "Skyscraper" hitmaker has agreed to talk about her road to recovery from eating disorders, depression and other personal issues that have been plaguing her since school days.

"I wanted to share my story but knew it had to be honest, it had to be real," Lovato said in a statement. "I have daily challenges but so do many kids who are struggling to feel comfortable in their own skin. If opening up and sharing my story inspires even one person to stay strong or to get the help they need, I've succeeded."
