First Batch of 54th Grammy Awards Performers Announced

Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters, Nicki Minaj, Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson are officially announced as performers at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. For Minaj and Aldean, this would their first time performing on the Grammys stage. Minaj was also the first artist announced as this year's performer.

Aldean and Clarkson, meanwhile, were announced as joint performers, most likely playing their duet "Don't You Wanna Stay" which is nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. More performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks leading to the February 12 ceremony.

Former 'Real Housewives' Jill Zarin May Move to L.A. for FOX's New Reality Show

Jill Zarin won't likely stay away from the small screen for long after quitting "The Real Housewives of New York City". Rumor has it, the 48-year-old is currently in talks with FOX to star on a new reality show.

Titled "The Beverly Jillbillies", the show reportedly centers on "a fashion-out-of-water move on her part to Los Angeles." The show's producers and the network have not confirmed the news, but The Hollywood Reporter says that Zarin has admitted she is currently house-hunting in the City of Angels.

Coming to the awards show held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, the 25-year-old actor looked scruffy because of his goatee beard. Still, his new do is cleaner than the half-shaved do he has to sport for the filming of "Cosmopolis". Back in July, he was snapped rocking a do that left his hair long on one side and raggedly buzzed on another.

The Academy Award Ceremony Might Be Moved Outside Hollywood

Having been held at the Kodak Theatre since 2001, the annual Academy Award ceremony might move to a new venue outside Hollywood after 2013. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has been considering to move the Oscar show to Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles.

It was reported that AEG, which operates the L.A. Live and 7,100-seat Nokia Theatre, has already been in discussion with the AMPAS about the issue. The new venue is said to offer bigger facilities than in Kodak. It has more seats, better infrastructure, greater promotional opportunities and other facilities for parties and press.

Weighing in on the Bane controversy, the younger brother of director Christopher Nolan defended that Tom Hardy has done a "spectacular" work in bringing the character to live.

"I've gotta tell you, I think what Tom Hardy is doing with the role is spectacular," Jonah said while attending the Television Critics Association which was hosted by CBS. "I've had the benefit of seeing a little bit more than the audience has seen, at this point, and it's pretty spectacular."

'Avatar 2' to Be Pushed Back Until 2016, Producer Says

Movie lovers will likely not see "Avatar 2" hitting the theaters in the next two years. While the awaited film was originally expected to make its way out in 2014, producer Jon Landau revealed that the "Avatar" sequel may be pushed back until 2016.

According to Bleeding Cool, when attending the preview screening of several scenes from "Titanic" 3D on Wednesday, January 11, Landau stated that the "Avatar" sequel is still "four years away" from being released. Nonetheless, he promised that the forthcoming movie will showcase "advanced technology" that includes a higher rate of 3D camera system and the CG and performance capture.

Lionsgate Films has unleashed the first trailer for "Friends with Kids". Courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, this sneak peek at the comedy movie takes a look at Adam Scott and Jennifer Westfeldt portraying Jason and Julie, two best friends who decide to have a kid without marriage commitment.

Frontman's Injury Forces Red Hot Chili Peppers to Postpone Tour

An injury got in the way of Red Hot Chili Peppers' plan to tour in the U.S. The band's frontman Anthony Kiedis suffered multiple foot injuries and is currently on the mend after a surgery.

The tour was supposed to kick off January 20 in Sunrise, Florida. The date has now been rescheduled to March 29 in Tampa Bay. "Red Hot Chili Peppers regret to announce that they must postpone the start of their upcoming U.S. tour due to multiple foot injuries sustained by Anthony Kiedis," the statement on their website said.
