The production of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" was forcefully shut down when more than 100 Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protesters stormed in the set. The NBC series was filming an OWS-themed episode and the protesters saw the set across Manhattan State Supreme Courthouse as a stage for political theater.

"We made it so that they could not exploit us and that's awesome," said Tammy Schapiro of Brooklyn. Another Brooklyn native, Aaron Black said, "We thought we would bring some extras down and add some reality to this show. Why should they be able to put tents up in a public park when we are unable to do that?"

Matt Damon might have not been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People if he had always dressed like the way he did recently. The Jason Bourne of "Bourne" trilogy was spotted on Friday, December 9 wearing an unflattering garb while filming a skit for "Saturday Night Live".

Jackie Robinson's biopic "42" has found its lead actor. According to Variety, Legendary Pictures has tapped newcomer Chadwick Boseman to play the legendary Brooklyn Dodgers player in the upcoming Brian Helgeland-directed movie.

This will be Boseman's first big role in a feature film. He previously had some small parts on some TV series, including "Justified" and "Castle". He also tackled a supporting role in 2008's football pic "The Express".

Lady GaGa was a ballerina when performing "Marry the Night" on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" recently. The Mother Monster rocked a long-sleeved all-pink outfit with a cute tutu and finished off her look with towering shoes which made her moves restricted in stretcher bar area. Halfway through the set, she got the shoes taken off and traded with a pair of more sensible heels.

" 'Marry the Night' is about marrying the darkness, marrying what is difficult about your life," she explained the premise behind the song. "The Muppets" director has spoken out against accusation that his movie is spreading an anti-corporate message to American children. Addressing the recent criticism when talking to The Hollywood Reporter at the premiere of the family film during the 2011 Dubai Film Festival, James Bobin insisted that Kermit and co. are not communist.

"It's a very strange turn of events to hear a question like that. Cable news is 24 hours long so you have to fill it up with something. No, the Muppets are not communist," Bobin responded to question whether the Muppets are communists. "And the character of Tex Richman is not an allegory for capitalism in any way."

Mindy McCready has attempted suicide several times in the past, but she now claims that her young son has given her a reason to live. In a new interview on "20/20" airing Friday, December 9 night, the "Ten Thousand Angels" singer told ABC News' Andrea Canning, "Zander saved my life."

After his mentor Oprah Winfrey ended her daytime show, Nate Berkus will also pull down the curtain for the last time on his own show. Sony Pictures Television and Harpo Studios have announced that they will pull the plug on "The Nate Berkus Show" after it completes its second season in May 2012.

"After careful consideration, we have decided that The Nate Berkus Show will not return for a third season in the fall," Sony and Harpo said in a joint statement. "We are grateful for the hard work and heart that Nate, [executive producer] Corin Nelson and their entire team have poured into the show, and we're very proud of what they've delivered."

The first official look at Sean Penn and Josh Brolin in "The Gangster Squad" has been unleashed via Entertainment Weekly. The image sees Brolin's John O'Mara showing off an angry look while aiming a revolver at Penn's Mickey Cohen, who seems to be surrendering to O'Mara.

Explaining the scene featured in the still, director Ruben Fleischer said, "Ultimately it's the story between these two guys. It's Josh and Sean who face off at the end after a big gun battle between the Gangster Squad and Cohen and his men."

Kirsten Dunst has been granted a temporary restraining order against an obsessed fan from Dijon, France. "The Vampire Diaries" has found two actors to round up the members of the Original family. Caspar Zafer and Nathaniel Buzolic have been tapped to take the recurring roles of Finn and Kol respectively, TV Guide reports.

Both Finn and Kol are Klaus' brothers. They will first appear in episode 13 of season 3 which is slated to air on January 26, 2012. Things will likely get complicated for the family once Finn and Kol learn that Klaus killed their parents, Esther and Mikael.

Kim Kardashian is setting aside some time from her busy schedule for charity. Weeks after she helped serve Thanksgiving meals for the homeless, the "Kourtney and Kim Take New York" star makes a trip to Haiti with We Advance, a charity group that aims "to advance the health, safety, and well being of women" throughout the earthquake-ravaged country.

"She connected with Mario Bello and is there with Maria's foundation and also with her mom [Kris Jenner]," one inside source told PEOPLE about the trip. "Her intention was always to take the end of the year to focus on some of the other things that are important to her and this trip was one."

Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris Jackson, is ready to follow the footsteps of her father in the showbiz industry. The 13-year-old girl has landed her first big screen role in "Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys", a movie adaptation of Dennis H. Christen's young adult fantasy novel.

The brunette beauty is set to star as lead heroine Lundon O'Malley in the movie. She will join a cast ensemble that include Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick, as well as Ted Lange and Joey Fatone, and is expected to begin filming in January 2012.

A new sneak peek to the first episode of "Spartacus: has landed online, giving a look at the first opening scene. Said to be a pivotal part of the show, the approximately three-minute footage follows Spartacus and other rebels who fight some soldiers. Greyson Chance debuts an "artsy and uplifting" music video for his latest single "Hold on 'Til the Night". "This video is about lighting up a new generation," so he explains.

Director Dano Cerny elaborated, "It's about shedding light and feeling powerful, so we came up with this cool installation piece using light bulbs. A full-length trailer for "Battleship" has been debuted. Making its way out via Apple, the new sneak-peek video gives a better look at the stunning special effects featured in the film, including the ones that are used in the intense battle scenes against robotic aliens in the naval fleet, the air and the city. It additionally shows a longer look at R&B star Rihanna who takes part in the action scenes.

The movie centers on an epic action-adventure that unfolds across the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. It follows an international naval fleet at Pearl Harbor which engage in an intense battle against an alien race known as "The Refents". Those aliens arrive on planet Earth, on a mission to gain power source in the ocean. Upon their visit, they come in contact with the navy fleet.

Due to the success of "Watch the Throne", Jay-Z plans to return to the studio and recreate his duet magic with Kanye West for an album sequel. The Roc Nation founder drops a hint when talking to MTV News about what to expect from him in year 2012.

"It depends on how this thing finishes up," he says before adding, "We - I say 'we' because I'm in Throne mode - we're in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we're really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone."

It looks like the pressure of being "The X Factor (US)" judge has taken its toll for Nicole Scherzinger. The determining judge for the fate of Rachel Crow on Wednesday, December 8 night episode, Scherzinger could not help but to cry for the next 30 minutes after it was announced that Crow was going home.

What viewers watched on television was Scherzinger choosing a "Deadlock" in the final vote between Crow and Marcus Canty. While the fate of his fifth studio album is yet determined, 50 Cent enters the world of literature. The rapper is penning a health book about weight-loss as well as fitness titled "Formula 50: A 6-Week Total Body Transformation Plan".

50 Cent famously lost a lot of his body mass when portraying a football player who suffers from cancer in upcoming movie, "All Things Fall Apart". He shed off around 54 pounds for the role, going as lean as 160 pounds. For nine weeks, he went on a liquid diet and ran on treadmill three hours a day.

Ellie Kemper will go from one of the "Bridesmaids" to the bride itself. The "The Office" star confirmed on Wednesday, December 8 episode of "Conan" that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Michael Koman.

"I want to mention something," Conan O'Brien began. "It's sort of a big deal around this office. You got engaged." He added, Koman is a "very talented writer who worked for me for many, many years."
