The holiday season has once again come around, and Hollywood has prepared a selection of entertaining and thrilling films to be chosen by movie lovers. To help them in picking which movies to check out with families or friends throughout the month of December, AceShowbiz provides this 2011 Holiday Movie Guide.

Some of the movies which make it into the list are romantic comedy "New Year's Eve", high-octane action "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol", mind-bending thriller "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)", and touching drama "War Horse". Also included are some limited releases, such as "Carnage".

The question about the identity of Barney's future wife will be answered toward the end of this season's "How I Met Your Mother". Executive producer/creator Carter Bays recently shared a detail on the episode that will shed a light on the mysterious bride as saying, "In May, we will follow Ted to the bride's dressing room and meet her."

Talking more about what is coming next on the show, Bays said that Marshall and Lily welcome their baby boy in May, while Chris Elliott will return as Lily's father Mickey for a multi-episode arc. Also in the present-day scene, Barney finds romantic stability, but Robin and Kevin's "relationship takes some big steps."

This year's Soul Train Awards, which was taped on November 17 at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, GA, was finally aired last Sunday, November 27 on BET. Among the lucky musicians who won that night were Rihanna, Beyonce Knowles, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj.

Riri won Best Caribbean Performance, thanks to her single "Man Down". The Barbados singer, however, had to give up her chance to win Best Dance Performance. She lost it to Beyonce who additionally beat Breezy, Kelly Rowland, Mary Mary and Keri Hilson.

Even Charlize Theron couldn't escape being bullied by her peers at school. Sharing memories of her younger years, the "Young Adult" star opened up to PEOPLE, "I actually got a lot of the mean girl stuff from the ages of 7 to 12. I was pretty much a mess in primary school."

"But I got that out of my system by the time I got to high school and was more immune to all of that stuff," the 36-year-old actress added. She was still unable to find herself any boyfriend though. "I didn't have any boyfriends, but lots of crushes," she confessed. "I wore really nerdy glasses because I was blind as could be and the boys didn't like [me]."

Michael Fassbender has commented on the rumors suggesting that he might star as the new James Bond. In a recent interview with Total Film, the 34-year-old actor admitted that he doesn't have any plan to replace Daniel Craig in the 007 franchise. "I think Daniel is doing a great job and I don't think too far into the future. It's one step at a time right now," he insisted.

The German thespian, however, added that back then he had fantasized about portraying the flamboyant MI6 secret agent. He confessed, "Of course, every guy knows the feeling of walking round the house singing the song to himself, walking round corners with an imaginary gun." He went on teasing, "Let's see what happens."

Another fabled character is coming to "Once Upon a Time". Emilie de Ravin has been cast as the Belle from "Beauty and the Beast" and the first look of her as the fantasy character has made its way out via TV Guide.

"Emilie projects a very natural strength and warmth, which are characteristics we wanted to explore with Belle," says Adam Horowitz who, along with Edward Kitsis, creates the drama series. Emilie has previously worked with Horowitz and Kitsis when she starred as Claire on "Lost".

First two teaser posters for "Man in Black 3" have made their way out. Neither of the one-sheets has officially been released online, but Collider brought forth the one featuring Agent K and First Showing gives a look at the other one exposing Agent J. The portrait of both agents in black suits and sunglasses are made up of "MIB3" logos.

Tommy Lee Jones reprises his role as Agent K, while Will Smith returns as Agent J in the movie. It is said that Jones will have a smaller role in the film since the story focuses on Agent J as he gets involved in a time travel to visit young Agent K, who is played by Josh Brolin, and to prevent a world-ending disaster.

Angelina Jolie once thought of making funeral service her career. During an interview on "60 Minutes" that was aired on Sunday, November 27 night, the "Kung Fu Panda 2" actress told interviewer Bob Simon that the death of her grandfather inspired her to be a funeral director.

"It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with his funeral," the 36-year-old beauty shared. "How somebody passes and how family deals with this passing and what death is should be addressed in a different way. If this whole acting thing didn't work out that was going to be my path."

Dexter has been fooled by Travis' delusion all this time. After turning to Travis to find Professor Gellar, the blood spatter analyst finally learns in the latest episode of the crime series that Gellar has died and that Travis is the only Doomsday killer.

As he realizes that he has made a terrible mistake, Dexter will move forward by finding out who Travis' next victim is. Speaking to Gellar in his mind, Travis denies that he killed the professor and says that he will finish what they started.

Wyclef Jean has responded to a report by the New York Post that his charity, Yele Haiti Foundation, used only a third of the $16 million it collected for relief efforts. In a letter he issued on Sunday, November 27, the former member of The Fugees branded the article, entitled "Questions Dog Wyclef's Haiti Fund", "misleading, deceptive and incomplete".

The 42-year-old began his statement by saying he started Yele in 2005 because he wanted to help people that were helpless in his home country. "The Post conveniently fails to acknowledge that the decisions that Yele made were a response to one of the world's most catastrophic natural disasters in modern history and required an immediate humanitarian response," he continued.

Jimmy Darmody is in a mourning mode in the next episode of "Boardwalk Empire". Following [SPOILER ALERT!] the shocking death of his wife Angela in the November 27 episode, the authorities are looking for Jimmy who is kept hidden by Jack Huston. In his sole state, Jimmy will revisit his college days with Angela and his mother, Gillian.

As Jimmy's whereabouts remain in question, his co-workers will find a solution to handle his "piece". Also in the penultimate episode of season 2, Nucky is upset with Margaret whom he accuses of cheating.

Hot Chelle Rae are on the rise to be the next big thing in music scene. The band consisting of four boys from Nashville, Ryan Follese, Nash Overstreet, Ian Keaggy and Jamie Follese, broke the top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 with their easy-listening single "Tonight Tonight". They reached No. 7 on the U.S. Single chart.

"It's funny because the music we listen to has always centered around pop," Nash gushed. "And I think the success of 'Tonight Tonight' showed us that we could go in that direction and put out an album of music that we would listen to as well as play." Ryan added, "It created a lane for us. We like the idea of being a band amid all these solo acts on the radio. It challenges you to write great songs."

Bow Wow is not staying quiet over report that he owes almost $100,000 in unpaid back taxes. In a letter to fans that he posted on his blog, the "Ain't Thinkin' 'Bout You" rapper addressed the issue as writing, "TMZ saying they are about to runa story on me thats once again 'Not True'."

"im sitting in my beautiful condo as of RIGHT NOW that they said i dont have anymore. (Bow Wow with no home thats like a whore that doesn't like d**k)," the 24-year-old continued. After debuting his new single "T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever)" at 2011 American Music Awards on November 20, will.i.am now gets to premiere its music video. The Black Eyed Peas member previewed the video on a recent episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show".

will.i.am is seen running on an empty street somewhere in what looks like a desert. Wearing a white jumpsuit, the 36-year-old musician bursts through a wall hopping a bike. He then jumps over an airport tarmac trading the bicycle with a motorcycle.

Romance is indeed in the air for Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. Just a day after the two enjoyed a date in Paris, France, the "Crazy, Stupid, Love." actor and the "Last Night" actress seemed unable to let go of each other as they walked hand-in-hand at Charles De Gaulle Airport.

Heading through the airport to catch a flight back to the U.S., Ryan and Eva were seen dressed in matching outfit. The pair, who were all smiles as they made their way side by side, wore a dark-colored coat on top of white shirt and sported dark sunglasses. Eva, in particular, completed her look with patterned scarf and dark hat.

Kristen Stewart looks pale as if she's lifeless on the set of "Snow White and the Huntsman". The 21-year-old actress has been caught on camera filming a scene, which appears to be the death scene of Snow White, on the set of the movie in the U.K. Donning a full costume, she was spotted being carried out on a wooden stretcher.

The fresh on-set photo also provides a first look at the dwarves. They are seen rocking full make-ups and costumes while carrying Stewart on the stretcher in the middle of the snowy woods. Among the dwarves, there is English actor Nick Frost, who plays dwarf Gus.

When "The Walking Dead" returns in midseason, the survivors will face the consequence for killing the walkers from the Hershel barn. The veterinarian tells them to get their feet off his farm after Shane opens the barn and shoots the zombies, which included Sophia, along with Andrea, Glenn, Daryl, and T-Dog.

Rick will confront Shane regarding his decision to massacre the walkers, which mostly consist of Hershel's family members. While it is obvious that Rick's ultimate intention is to keep peace with Hershel so that they could stay in his farm, Shane is questioning the way his best friend is handling the situation.

It's official, M.I.A. is going to join forces with Madonna and Nicki Minaj. The "Born Free" singer has confirmed the collaboration on Twitter, "summond to NYC by b***hesses > MADONNA and @NICKIMINAJ > cofffffiiiiiiieeeeeeeeee it iz a good day to get me tho trustttt b***hes."

It's unclear what song they are going to record together, but the rumor mill has run wild suggesting the threesome will join forces in Madge's upcoming single "Give Me All Your Love". It's a song which is going to be released as the first offering from the Material Girl's upcoming album which is yet to be titled.

Proofs that Jennifer Lopez has a fling with her backup dancer Casper Smart have finally emerged online. The "On the Floor" hitmaker has been caught on camera flaunting her affection toward the 24-year-old as the two enjoyed a vacation in Hawaii during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Two photos of J.Lo and Casper cozying up made their way out via TMZ. Both snaps captured the twosome cuddling and relaxing in a cabana. In one of the pictures, estranged wife of Marc Anthony is seen laying her head on her boy toy's chest while he has his arm wrapped around her head. In another, they were spotted sipping on cocktails.

The first teaser trailer for "Prometheus" has been leaked online. While it doesn't provide a clear idea on what the story is all about, the bootleg video does give a peek at what looks like to be an extraterrestrial expedition. It also captures some of the eeriness of the original "Alien" preview.

A few days prior, Entertainment Weekly unveiled several brand new stills of the alien-themed movie. One of the images shows a first look at the lead actors, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender and Logan Marshall-Green, in costume. A first look of Charlize Theron and Idris Elba was also shared.

An alternate version for Beyonce Knowles' controversial "Countdown" music video has just surfaced. It has a slight change by excluding a scene which features the R&B diva doing a routine inspired by Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's dance.

The other scenes are pretty much the same. It shows the pregnant singer glowing with happiness. She slips into a lot of different costumes including an edgy maternity outfit which shows off her growing belly and channeling the spirit of Audrey Hebpurn by wearing short bangs and cropped black pants.

Bill and Cathi have ended their gig on "The Amazing Race". The grandparents were the last team to arrive at the pit stop in the previous leg where the contestants were told to continue the race immediately. In the November 27 episode, the old couple still could not catch up with the other teams.

For the first challenge which still took place in Belgium, the teams must head to Ford Lommel Proving Grounds where they had to test drive a Ford Mustang. Ernie and Cindy took over the leading position from Amani and Marcus at this point with Jeremy and Sandy following closely behind them.

The first look at Chris Brown's upcoming music video for his new single "Strip" has been unveiled in a form of a still. In it, Breezy is seen rocking dress pants and a button-up shirt complete with a tie, and finishing off his dapper look by wearing a newsy cap.

The music video reportedly comes from direction hands of Colin Tilley and was filmed in Los Angeles over the weekend. Words are, some scantily-clad ladies would join Breezy in a party pool scene for the forthcoming clip.

Saturday, November 26 might be the night Tallulah Belle Willis made her debut as a member of high society, but it was her older sister who stole the attention. Stepping out to support the 17-year-old, Rumer Willis stole the attention at Le Bal des Debutantes with her daring dress.

The oldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore came to the ball held at Hotel Crillon in Paris, France wearing a plunging v-neck silver dress that leaves little to the imagination. She later took to Twitter to share a photo of her posing with her sisters, Tallulah Belle and Scout Willis at the upper class event.

"The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I" still leads the North American box office this weekend. The vampire romance movie secures the top spot on the chart for two weeks in a row with an estimated $42 million from the last three days of ticket sales, and around $62.3 million on the five-day Thanksgiving weekend. So far, the film grosses $221.3 million domestically and $489.3 million worldwide.

Meanwhile, "The Muppets" lands on the second place in its opening week. The film which brings back fan-favorite puppets, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and co., to the big screen rakes in an approximately $29.5 million in three days, and an estimated $42 million during the five-day holiday weekend.

After killing off Cinderella's Fairy Godmother, "Once Upon a Time" will see the demise of another character. Confirming report that an unexpected character will die before the show reaches episode 10, cast member Raphael Sbarge says, "I can tell you that it's true. Someone is going to die."

Comparing "Once Upon a Time" to "Lost", whose two of the producers create the fairytale drama series, Sbarge says the death twist is one of the things that will add the thrill on the show. "I guess that's similar again to 'Lost' where it does obviously add to the high stakes element of the show," the Archie Hopper depicter states.

Nicki Minaj channels her inner Lil Wayne in a music video which supports Birdman's "Y.U. Mad" music video. The Harajuku Barbie trades her doll-like appearance with a tomboy one by rocking a blond-and-pink deadlock and wearing a white wifebeater, camouflaged baggy pants, and diamond-studded bling-blings.

Trying her best to impersonate Weezy, Minaj kicks in, "I am the female Weezy." The rapstress then proceeds to give a shout-out to her Young Money family and slam the haters with "Yeah, we shine, gold cluster/ As for your career, dead, ghostbuster." She follows it up with a chant of "that's why you mad".

Teen star Miley Cyrus is staring down another scandal. When presented with a cake featuring the face of reggae icon Bob Marley at her 19th birthday party at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles recently, the former "Hannah Montana" actress was caught on camera seemingly admitting to bragging about smoking marijuana.

In a video obtained by The Daily, the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus says of the cake, "This is amazing." She then adds, "You know you're a stoner when your friends make you a Bob Marley cake. You know you smoke way too much f***ing weed," prompting friend Kelly Osbourne to say, "I thought salvia was your problem, Miley."

T.I. thinks that oversensitive gays are un-American. The rapper was discussing gay rights with Vibe magazine when he revealed how he views Tracy Morgan's joke back in June that landed him in hot water with the LGBT communities.

"Man, I will say this, the funniest joke I ever heard Tracy say during a stand-up was, 'C'mon man, I think gay people are too sensitive. If you can take a d**k, you can take a joke.' [Cracks up laughing.] That s**t was funny to me. And it's kind of true," T.I. said.

News about the sequel of "The Chronicles of Riddick" stopped coming after the first quarter of this year. The movie went to a period of death last month when the studio owner in Montreal said that the bills were not yet paid.

Per TMZ, the production company has now enough cash to pay off Michel Trudel. The studio owner, who previously locked out the cast and crew from the set, has allowed "The Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking" to resume production on December 28.
