"I, Frankenstein" might have found its leading lady. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Yvonne Strahovski is in final talks to play the female lead, who is described as a scientist who works on "reanimating the dead and tricked into working for demons seeking to create an army of the undead."

In addition to the "Chuck" actress, the Stuart Beattie-directed comic-adapted thriller has also attached Miranda Otto to the cast ensemble. Otto, who is famously known for playing Eowyn in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, is set to play the queen of gargoyles who intents to help Frankenstein.

Amanda Seyfried is freaked out by a phantom serial killer in the first trailer for "Gone". Coming out via Yahoo! Movies, the fresh sneak-peek video gives a look at some intense scenes as Seyfried tries to find a way to combat her sister's kidnapper, who is unseen and unidentified.

In the movie, Seyfried plays female lead Jill Parish. As Jill returns home from the night shift, she finds that her sister's bed is empty. She believes that her sister is abducted by a serial killer who kidnapped her two years before.

Little details into what prompted the reopening of Natalie Wood's death case are unraveled. Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca has told the Los Angeles Times that investigators want to talk to the captain of the yacht, The Splendour, about the comments he made recently. "[Dennis Davern] made comments worthy of exploring," so he said.

According to The Times, a law enforcement source also said that the department recently received a letter from an unidentified "third party", claiming the captain had "new recollections" about the case. More details are expected to be shared on Friday, November 18 since the department has scheduled a press conference for 11 A.M.

Laurieann Gibson indeed no longer worked with Lady GaGa, but she's not fired by the Mother Monster. The Toronto native set the record straight to The Hollywood Reporter by saying, "Recently, Lady GaGa was motivated to take the helm of the creative direction of her career and as such I decided to step away."

Scarlett Johansson will expand her career as a movie director. The 26-year-old actress is set to make her directorial debut in "Summer Crossing", a movie adaptation of Truman Capote's long lost novel. Variety reported that the "Iron Man 2" actress will team up with Oscar-winning producer Barry Spikings in the project.

The story in Capote's book is set in New York City over the course of the hot summer of 1945. It focuses on an 18-year-old young woman who breaks free of her rich family to discover her own identity and sexuality. Copote wrote the novel in the 1940s, but it was lost for half a century before eventually being published in 2005.

HLN cancels "The Joy Behar Show" after just two seasons. Following previous reports that the show will end its run this December, the network has made it official on Thursday, November 17 that it will not renew the Joy Behar-hosted news program for a third season.

Despite its short life, Behar has no regret over the show as she says in a statement, "I am very proud of the show that we created at HLN." The 69-year-old, who also co-hosts "The View", adds, "I owe tremendous thanks to the show team who made it possible."

A big screen adaptation of Orson Scott Card's award-winning novel "Ender's Game" is underway. Summit Entertainment is developing the sci-fi project with "Hugo" star Asa Butterfield being eyed to star as the lead character.

Deadline reported that Butterfield has been courted among several other talented young actors to take the main protagonist. Should the 14-year-old English actor join the project, he will star as a young genius strategist named Andrew "Ender" Wiggin.

Ryan Seacrest and Bravo have been slapped with lawsuit in relation to the production of their not-yet-airing reality show. Kathy Salem, who joined the taping of "Shahs of Sunset", is suing the producer and the network after she was allegedly humiliated and abused by cast members of the show.

Salem claims she was invited to a July party which was said to be taped for possible inclusion in the show, which has been described as a Persian "Jersey Shore". Once she got inside the bash, she was allegedly targeted by two cast members, who began to bully her in attempt to create drama for the show.

Amidst her divorce drama, Kim Kardashian finds herself being targeted by PETA. The animal rights organization publicly criticizes the 31-year-old star for her furry fashion choices in a new billboard that is set to go up in early December at the corner of Beverly Boulevard and Sweetzer Avenue in Los Angeles.

The organization's latest billboard features a photo of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star wearing a thick fur around her neck. Sitting opposite her picture was a snap of two baby foxes. Its caption, meanwhile, reads, "Kim: These babies miss their mother. Is she on your back?"

Angelina Jolie might land another strong female character for her next big screen project. The longtime partner of Brad Pitt has attached herself to the lead role in a biopic about an iconic woman activist, Gertrude Bell, who is described as the female Lawrence of Arabia.

Bell, who was born in 1868 in England, was the pioneering woman leader in the early 20th century whose work became the modern framework in Jordan and Iraq. She worked for the British Intelligence during the World War I era and became the key figure to the English's dismantling of the Ottoman Empire and subsequent founding of Iraq.

MTV is set to celebrate the life of Ryan Dunn, who found his fame through a show on the channel, in a one-hour special. The network has announced that it will air "Ryan Dunn Tribute Special" on Monday, November 28, at 10:30 P.M. ET/PT.

The special will give viewers a look at Dunn's life from his early years in Ohio, to his days with the Jackass crew, to his untimely death. Never-before-seen footage of the late daredevil on "Viva la Bam" and "Jackass" will also be shown.

It turned out most of "The X Factor (US)" viewers agreed to the judges' opinions that Stacy Francis' performance on Wednesday, November 16 was not the best of hers. The Earth's Mightiest Heroes are assembling in new character banners for "The Avengers". One picture, which was unleashed via Yahoo! Movies, shows Captain America, Dr. Bruce Banner, Iron Man and Thor striking a fierce pose.

The other banner, which was unveiled via Moviefone, gives a look at the other four fan-favorite characters holding their weapons. They include S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury, supervillain Loki, master archer Hawkeye, as well as heroine Black Widow.

Michael Buble embraces the joy of Christmas in a music video which supports his holiday single "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town". The Canadian singer walks down the pavement on a snowy night while singing and doing silly dance. Every once in a while, he greets some friendly passersby.

Lady GaGa might have millions of fans all over the world who would die to take a photo with her, but one baby clearly didn't share mutual feeling. A picture of the Mother Monster posing with terrified Baby Loissa has recently made its rounds, showing the young child nearly in tears.

The photo was taken on Wednesday, November 17 after GaGa made an appearance on Alan Carr's "Chatty Man" show, Daily Mail reported. As the "Marry the Night" singer exited the ITV studios in London, the parent of Baby Loissa handed her Loissa for a picture together, but the blonde-haired, blue-eyed baby simply won't cooperate.

Regis Philbin has returned David Letterman's favor by visiting his late-night show just a day after David appeared as a guest on "Live with Regis and Kelly". The mysterious death of Natalie Wood gets re-examined. Nearly 30 years after the "Miracle on 34th Street" actress died of drowning while boating with her husband Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department announced they opened a new investigation into her death.

"On November 29, 1981, Natalie Wood Wagner drowned while boating off the Isthmus of Catalina Island," read a statement released by the LASD on Thursday, November 17. "At the time, the drowning was investigated by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office. The drowning was ruled an accident."

Filmmaker Tyler Perry has been receiving plenty of messages protesting him for casting Kim Kardashian in "The Marriage Counselor". Defending his decision to cast the socialite his upcoming movie, the director has taken to his blog to write a message to the protesters.

"All I wanted to do was shoot a great film and try to keep my mind off the holiday grief that I have been experiencing for the past two years," wrote Perry. "I could not have imagined I'd be getting all these emails about Kim Kardashian. I HAVE SEEN THEM!! YOU HAVE BEEN HEARD!!...LOL."

Lady GaGa has just revealed the opening of her upcoming music video for latest single "Marry the Night". The Mother Monster is wearing a hospital gown and lying on a gurney in this prelude. She gives a monologue while being wheeled down a long hall by two nurses. "When I look back on my life, it's not that I don't want to see things exactly as they happened, it's just that I prefer to remember them in an artistic way," she says.

CBS will air at least three more seasons of "Survivor". The network has announced that it orders season 25 and 26 of the TV's longest-running reality competition, which will be filmed back-to-back this spring, to follow-up the upcoming 24th cycle.

The Eye has additionally set a premiere date for the new 24th installment, scheduling it to debut on February 15, 2012. Jeff Probst will return as host and executive producer for all three seasons.

Dean McDermott indirectly admitted that it was his wife Tori Spelling's boobs he accidentally exposed on Twitter. The actor has removed a photo of their son, which shows Spelling's naked boobs on the background.

Spelling gave birth to their third child together last month and the photo showed her reclining on a bed while her 4-year-old son Liam goofed around. McDermott quickly removed the photo on Wednesday, November 16 morning after realizing the blunder. He did not say anything, neither did his rep.
