Justin Theroux Won a $450,000 Painting for Jennifer Aniston

A bunch of celebrities gathered at Christie's in New York on Thursday, September 22 for a charity auction, but one couple attracted the attention with their bid. Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux won her a painting for an extravagant $450,000.

At "Artist for Haiti", Aniston waited behind the wings while Theroux big on Glenn Ligon's abstract oil, charcoal and graphite work called "Stranger #44". The price tag for the art piece was estimated between $150,000 to $200,000, so the final number exceeded the expectation.

Sale of Kim Kardashian's Sex Tape Stopped

Vivid Entertainment is not going to sell Kim Kardashian's sex tape, at least for now. The porn industry's head told TMZ that the offers were great but for the sake of appeal, they would hold on to it to find the buyer they favor.

"We were offered $20 million for the Kim tape but have decided that we are going to hang on to it ... for now," Hirsch said, adding "Although the offer that we ultimately received was substantial, when I realized that it wasn't Kim it became less appealing. Kim is a superstar and if it were to be sold, it should be to her."

Lea Michele Hurt by Sarah Hyland's Comments

Although Sarah Hyland complimented her behind at the Primetime Emmys Awards, Lea Michele doesn't appreciate the "Modern Family" star poking fun of her red carpet pose. "I gotta be honest. It hurt my feelings a little bit," Michele told Us Weekly at Variety's 3rd Annual Power of Women event. "I really think the message of today is that women should motivate and empower women, and so that's why I'm honored to be a part of today."

Hyland said previously that she is not sorry for her critiques of the "Glee" star's exaggerated pose. She wrote on Twitter, "I did not intend for my comments to be taken in a malicious way. But I did hate [her] dress. Called her ass great. Did you all hear that one?"

"They're dating but taking things slow," a source told People. Pete and Meagan met over a month ago in Los Angeles. The rocker reportedly was nervous about bringing another woman into his son Bronx's life but Meagan did well adjusting so he's "comfortable with her".

January Jones Refuses to Name Baby Daddy in Birth Certificate

Those who thought that the mystery of January Jones' baby daddy would eventually be revealed in the birth certificate are wrong. The "Mad Men" star has left the name of Xander Dane Jones' father's name blank in the document, prompting people to speculate more.

The legal document was filed on Friday, September 23 at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and was obtained by TMZ. It confirms that the baby was born on September 13 at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica.

Joe Manganiello Is Ashton Kutcher's Love Rival on 'Two and a Half Men'

Joe Manganiello will stir things up on "Two and a Half Men". A CBS spokesperson confirms that the 34-year-old actor is set to appear in an episode of the CBS show as the smoldering hot boyfriend of Bridget, the former wife of Ashton Kutcher's Walden Schmidt.

His episode is set to air on October 24. Bridget herself, meanwhile, is portrayed by Judy Greer and will make her first appearance in the second episode of the ninth season this Monday, September 26.

Lionsgate Films has released the first trailer for Katherine Heigl's romantic comedy "One for the Money" via Yahoo! Movies. In the promo video, the "27 Dresses" actress is not only seen in a number of hilarious scenes, but also does some actions by blowing up a car and practicing her gun shooting.

In the romantic comedy, Heigl fills in the shoes of Stephanie Plum, a Jersey girl who gets plenty of attitude despite her jobless status for the last six months. Desperate for some fast cash, she turns to her last resort: convincing her sleazy cousin to give her a job at his bail bonding company as a recovery agent.

'X Factor' Contestant Claims He Wasn't Naked Amid FCC Complaint

Another problem is hitting newly debuted "The X Factor (US)". After dealing with lawsuits from "American Idol" creator Simon Fuller and contestants during audition stage, the show is now slapped with a Federal Communications Commission complaint filed by the Parents Television Council.

The complaint was made after a contestant, Geo Godley, dropped his pants during his performance in a pre-taped segment which aired on Wednesday night, September 21. The judges were shocked as Paula Abdul was seen storming off stage. L.A. Reid additionally declared, "That was offensive, disgusting, distasteful, upsetting - get him out of the building please!"

'The Lone Raner' Gets Green Light From Disney, Production to Start in Early 2012

Although it has been threatened to be halted due to budgetary issue, "The Lone Ranger" seems to be back on its saddle. Deadline reported that Walt Disney Pictures will announce that the project is back on track by next week.

According to the report, the Mouse House will start rehiring the cast and crew so that they could begin the production in January or February next year. As planned before, Johnny Depp will be playing Tonto and Armie Hammer is still set to star as the titular character. Ruth Wilson is also expected to star as the female lead.

Vesta Williams Believed to Have Died of Possible Drug Overdose

The R&B world has just lost another of its members. Vesta Williams, the singer whose '80s hits included "Don't Blow a Good Thing" and "Congratulations", was found dead in a hotel room on Thursday, September 22, and Capt. John Kades of the Los Angeles County coroner's office said she might have died of a possible drug overdose.

To the Associated Press, the coroner's official detailed that the body of the 53-year-old was discovered at around 6:15 P.M. in the hotel room in El Segundo, California. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of her death with a toxicology examination to be completed in six weeks.

Two A-list songstresses, Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton, are joining forces to create a winning Gospel Choir in the first trailer for musical comedy "Joyful Noise". Making its way out via Apple, the video presents the soul diva and the country singer playing Vi Rose Hill and G.G. Sparrow who are feuding with each other before they are forced to team up for a music project.

Aside from highlighting Latifah and Parton's on-screen feud, the video also sees the romantic relationship between Keke Palmer and Jeremy Jordan. In the movie, Palmer and Jordan play Hill's daughter and Sparrow's grandson who helps the gospel choir.

About a week shy of its premiere, the first episode of "Dexter" season 6 has reportedly leaked online. According to TorrentFreak, the upcoming October 2 outing has been made available for viewing pleasure via BitTorrent.

When confirmed about the news on early Friday, September 23, Ernesto of TorrentFreak said about 50,000 people have downloaded the 502 MB file, which is possibly ripped from a DVD source. "It is impossible to take down now, unless they shut down the entire internet," he told FishbowlLA.

Bristol Palin is no homophobe, her camp insists. Soon after a video documenting the verbal altercation between Sarah Palin's eldest daughter and a 47-year-old man at a West Hollywood bar made media headlines, her representative came out with a defense over her homophobic slur.

"She was approached in a confrontational and inappropriate manner when two men aggressively shouted expletives aimed at her in reference to her mother," said her rep in a statement to TMZ. "Bristol responded to the unprovoked verbal assault by calmly standing her ground and defending her family."

Vulture reported that after Liman's former project, "Luna", was canceled by Paramount Pictures, the director now focuses on the manga-adapted film project and wants the "Moneyball" actor to tackle the lead role.

Based on the Japanese manga by Hiroshi Sakurazaka, "All You Need Is Kill" follows a young Army recruit who dies on the battlefield against an alien invasion, only to find himself reborn each morning to fight and die again and again. Screenwriter Dante Harper re-writes the story after WB bought the rights for seven figures last spring.

Two more high-profile acts have been added to the star-studded line-up of the Michael Jackson tribute concert. The latest ones who were recently tapped to salute the late King of Pop at the upcoming gig are R&B quartet Black Eyed Peas and "American Idol" alum Jennifer Hudson.

One of BEP's members will.i.am said of their involvement at the gig, "This show is going to be an incredibly personal and moving evening for me.
