John Moore Close to Direct 'Die Hard 5', Breck Eisner Eyed for 'Red 2'

After going through a long search, "Die Hard 5" is finally closing in to naming its director. Breaking the news was Deadline which reported that "Max Payne" helmer John Moore is currently in final negotiation with 20th Century Fox for the role behind the lens for the fifth film in the action franchise.

Moore was not the only candidate who was considered to replace Noam Murro, who exited the project after he's tapped for "300: Battle of Artemisia". Previously, the studio have short-listed several other names, including "Fast Five" director Justin Lin, "Drive" helmer Nicolas Refn, and "Attack the Block" filmmaker Joe Cornish.

Taylor Swift gives a dose of magical touch to her first fragrance's ad. A few months before Wonderstruck hits the stores across the United States, the "You Belong with Me" hitmaker offers a sneak peek at how the promotional poster for the perfume will look like by posting it on her Facebook page.

In the ad which tagline promises "the beginning of something magical", the 21-year-old country crooner wears a soft pink strapless dress with silver belt while being surrounded by a number of chandeliers. Her wavy locks is swept over her left shoulder and her lips are painted in red.

President Obama's Jobs Speech to Conflict With NFL Opener

After interrupting primetime with his announcement of Osama bin Laden's Death last May, President Obama will once again appear in between night TV programs with his Congressional address. The leader of the United States has agreed to reschedule his speech regarding his promised jobs program to Thursday, September 8.

President Obama initially asked to deliver his speech on Wednesday, September 7, during which a Republican presidential debate in California will also take place. House Speaker John Boehner, however, reportedly rejected Obama's request, saying the next day would be better "so that we can ensure there will be no parliamentary or logistical impediments that might detract from your remarks."

Teyana Taylor to Sue Movie Director for Punching Her in Face

Teyana Taylor is considering to file a lawsuit against movie director Jean-Claude La Marre whom she claimed had pushed her in the face. The incident taking place on the set of "Gang of Roses 2" outside of L.A. last week got bloody and it all started with an aching tooth.

The rapper-turns-actress said La Marre continued to deny her request to send her home via a service car as her abscessed tooth got too painful. Impatient Taylor then confronted the director and started shouting. He responded with another fierce shout, "Don't f**king scream at me b*tch" and shoved her face right where her tooth ached.

New 'Apollo 18' Clip: One of the Astronauts Loses His Mind

Just days away from its theatrical release, "Apollo 18" has got another clip being presented as a "found footage". Coming out via Yahoo! Movies, the fresh snippet is less than a minute long but manages to show what happens when one of the astronauts who loses his mind has got a hold on a hammer.

One year after Apollo 17, the official last manned mission to the moon, was launched in 1972, two American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon funded by the U.S. Department of Defense. What happened to them is said to be the real reason men have never gone back to the moon.

An extended promo for "Community" season 3 has been made available for viewing pleasure, teasing that fans will see more musical performances by the characters. Meanwhile, John Goodman is added to the cast ensemble to play Vice Dean Robert Laybourne, the head of Greendale's nationally acclaimed air conditioning repair school.

Goodman's character will become a nuisance to Dean Pelton. As seen in the footage, he is threatening Pelton, who is portrayed by newly promoted series regular Jim Rash, with his big, deep voice. The two, however, end up having a long, awkward laugh.

Columbia Pictures have unleashed a brand new clip for "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star". In the one-minute snippet, Bucky quietly tells Kathy that he hasn't found anyone famous in the diner they are in, prompting Kathy to tell him that the bearded man sitting behind him happens to be Chewbacca.

This Tom Bardy-directed comedy revolves around small town grocery bagger Bucky. His life seems to be going nowhere until he discovers that his conservative parents were once adult film stars. Armed with the belief that he has found his destiny, he packs up and heads out to Los Angeles in the hope of following in his parents' footsteps.

'Law and Order: SVU' Season 13 Promo Features the New Detectives

Christopher Meloni will not reprise his role as Elliot Stabler on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" season 13, but Det. Olivia Benson will get some backups with the arrival of new detectives. Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish have been added to the cast ensemble to portray Det. Nick Amaro and Det. Amanda Rollins, who appear briefly in a promo for the new season.

Offering details about the new faces, newly-hired executive producer Warren Leight said Rollins is "coming out of college with degrees in forensic psychology." He added, "She's self-made, and she's had a lot of book training. She has the kind of training you get now at Quantico. That was missing from the squad room: Somebody who approaches things with actual technical knowledge ... an almost intellectual, academic, very structured approach."

Warner Bros. Respond to 'Hangover II' Stunt Double's Claim Over Brain Injury

Warner Bros. Pictures have released a statement regarding the lawsuit that was filed against them by a stunt double of "The Hangover Part II", Scott McLean, who claimed that he suffered a serious injury during the shooting for the movie in Bangkok, Thailand last year. In a statement released by their representative, the studio said they are trying to find a way to solve the matter.

"We were shocked and saddened by this accident and have been working closely with Scott and his family throughout his treatment and recovery," so said the rep. "We have offered continual support since the accident occurred and we are working together to try and resolve any outstanding issues."

Game's 'R.E.D. Album' Knocks Jay-Z and Kanye's Off Hot 200

The Game's "The R.E.D. Album" lands at number one on Billboard Hot 200 this week, shoving previous champion, Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Watch the Throne", to second place. Game's fourth studio album sold 98,000 copies, a number which although is low, still delivers him the throne.

The rapper's first two albums "The Documentary" and "Doctor's Advocate" both debuted at number one in 2005 and 2007 respectively. His third, which was released in 2008, sold as much as 239,000 copies but it got beaten for the first place by Slipknot's "All Hope Is Gone". "R.E.D.", however, is expected to be dethroned by Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter IV" next week.

After bringing back previous contestants last season, the nineteenth cycle of "The Amazing Race" will feature two familiar faces from another reality show. "Survivor: Africa" winner Ethan Zohn and "Survivor: The Amazon" champ Jenna Morasca, who happen to be a real-life couple, will join forces in the travelling competition.

For Zohn, their participation in the show is a celebration after he survived Hodgkin's lymphoma. "What we have been through the past two years has not been the greatest. Rihanna Suing Former Home Owner for Construction Defects

Apparently upset for being lied to, Rihanna is taking matter to the court. On Wednesday, August 31, the "Only Girl (In the World)" hitmaker filed a lawsuit against Prudential California Realty, a property-inspection service and the former owner of her Beverly Hills home for failing to inform her about construction defects of the house.

The 23-year-old singer purchased the mansion in July 2009 for $6.9 million, but wasn't aware of the problems until the two-story house was hit by a "moderate rainstorm" in January 2010. She detailed in the suit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, that rainwater pooled on the second-floor balcony and seeped into numerous rooms, leaving the house "uninhabitable".

T.I. Already Filming Reality Show After Being Released From Prison

T.I. has been working on a new project as soon as he was released from jail. TMZ reports that the rapper began shooting a new reality show for VH1 just minutes after he left a federal prison in Forrest City, Ark. on early Wednesday, August 31.

According to the network, the show will follow the 30-year-old, whose real name is Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., as he "re-adjusts to life as a free man after being incarcerated for nearly a year in a Federal prison in Arkansas." The yet-to-be-titled project will also see him reuniting with his wife and kids, and being thrust back into society "at this crucial juncture in his life".

The 38-year-old, who will be seen in "New Year's Eve", has since taken to Twitter to express her joy over the arrival of her son.
