Julia Stiles was photographed very distraught when landing at Los Angeles International airport on Tuesday, August 16. Radar Online said that the actress had a break down after receiving a phone call.

Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey are set to produce a movie about the sinking of USS Indianapolis that happened during the World War II in 1945. The couple will join forces with Warner Bros. Pictures in developing this project, and will present it through a modern lens.

This movie will unravel the story through the eyes of Hunter Scott, an 11-year-old boy who sets out to clear the name of the Indianapolis' late court-martialed captain, Charles McVay. When looking for a subject for a national History Day competition, he learned about the Indianapolis through a scene from "Jaws". His research and testimony led to the clearing of the captain's official record.

The first promo from "Modern Family" season 3 tries to bring a nostalgic feeling by featuring shots of old moments. Such scenes as Cam and Mitchell talking about having a baby boy, and Phil and Claire getting a surprise from their kids are featured along with a melancholic song, "Looking Back".

The cast of the Emmy-winning series have shot the season 3 premiere in Wyoming. "First Class treatment right off the Airplane in Wyoming! Lily already on a horse!" Jesse Tyler Ferguson tweeted on August 15 along with a picture showing his young co-star Aubrey Anderson-Emmons riding on a horse.

The first official plot synopsis of "Man of Steel" has possibly made its way out on the web. Attached to a casting call announcement, the synopsis claims Superman as "the most recognized and revered character of all time" in the pantheon of superheroes.

Russell Armstrong and estranged wife Taylor Armstrong were in the middle of divorce when he died on Monday night, August 15, but it didn't stop her from taking charge of his memorial service. Sharing the news was Ronald Richards, a lawyer for the late star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills".

"I have been notified by Taylor's attorney that she is making the memorial arrangements for Russell," Ronald told Radar Online. Red Hot Chili Peppers have released a music video supporting their new single "The Adventure of Rain Dance Maggie". Inspired by The Beatles' iconic 1969 rooftop performance, the Anthony Kiedis-fronted band rock out atop one of the buldings in Venice Beach, California.

The music video is directed by Marc Klasfeld. "We were a little bit worried because off to the side of the roof there's no safety net," he said. "We found the location at the last minute, because it had such incredible views, but on the edges of the location, you fall and you die, basically."

Piers Morgan pissed Christine O'Donnell off during an interview with questions that she thought was out of the topic she had agreed to discuss. "You're borderline being a little bit rude," the former Tea Party-backed Senate candidate from Delaware said on "Piers Morgan Tonight" on Wednesday, August 17 when the British journalist asked her about abstinence and her positions on gay marriage.

Summit Entertainment have unleashed a new promotional poster for "The Twilight Saga's Breaking Dawn Part I". The one-sheet sees the key cast of the highly anticipated vampire movie, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, among the other characters.

Lady GaGa officially will invade the stage of Video Music Awards on August 28, MTV announced. The singer joins the already-impressive rooster who would perform at the event such as Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Adele, and Young the Giant.

GaGa will make a VMA announcement and tease the promo live on MTV and Logo on Thursday, August 18, during "MTV First: Lady GaGa" which airs at 7:49 P.M. ET. Rapper Ice-T made insensitive comment on Twitter about Russell Armstrong, the estranged husband of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Taylor Armstrong. On the same day the news that Russell had committed suicide, Ice-T wrote, "Bad joke.. but alotta those wives would make me consider it."

Russell was found dead on Monday, August 15, hanging in a bedroom at his home on Mulholland Drive, Los Angeles. Reports said that the businessman took his own life because of depression stemming from his impending divorce from Taylor and the decline in his business.

Anne Hathaway has a way to promote her latest movie, that is by rapping like Lil Wayne. The 28-year-old was made a guest on "Conan" to promote romantic drama "One Day" and she displayed her skill in spitting verses which she claimed is the result of her frustration of the paparazzi.

In an original song and original lyrics, Hathaway left a message for the shutterbugs who have been hounding her lately especially after she nabbed the role of Catwoman in "The Dark Knight Rises". She told Conan O'Brien, "With all the stuff that's been going on with Batman, the paparazzi attention's been a little intense, so I actually wrote a rap song about it. It's in the style of Lil Wayne."
