Beastie Boys: 'No Tour Plans Until MCA Is Cancer-Free'

Adam Yauch, aka MCA, has been undergoing treatment since July 2009, when doctors found a tumor in his parotid gland.

He has also adopted a strict vegan diet and turned to ancient Chinese medicine to help him beat the disease, and although his prognosis is good, Adam Horovitz admits Beastie Boys is putting off any live dates following the release of "Hot Sauce Committee Part.2" until Yauch's back to full health.

The Polish rock band Behemoth scrapped a European and U.S. tour last summer when Adam 'Nergal' Darski was diagnosed with leukemia.

A suitable donor was found within months and he had the life-saving operation at a hospital in Gdansk, Poland but found himself back under doctors' care earlier this year when he contracted an infection.

She has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor, but was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service last month after a judge ruled her arrest on the charge broke the terms of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI case.

The "Mean Girls" star's troubles became a talking point this week when a clip from Paris Hilton's new programme, "The World According to Paris", hit the internet. In the footage, Hilton is heard making a jibe about Lohan's problems as she visits a homeless shelter and hands over a pair of earrings to one woman, who mistakes her for the troubled star.

Golf Legend Seve Ballesteros Dies

The sports icon Seve Ballesteros died on Saturday morning, May 7, two-and-a-half years after doctors diagnosed him with two malignant brain tumors.

A message posted on Ballesteros' website reads, "Today, at 2.10am Spanish time, Seve Ballesteros passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Pedrena. The Ballesteros family is very grateful for all the support and gestures of love that have been received since Seve was diagnosed with a brain tumor on October 5, 2008 at Madrid Hospital la Paz."

He is the only one who knows where the painting's location is and after his continued failure to remember, the gang begins to suspect duplicity on his part and hire a female hypnotist to get into his brain.

"So I do everything in my power to get him to let me go, and that might include slightly drugging him a little bit, so maybe he falls asleep. And I sneak out. Warner Bros. Developing Two 'Tarzan' Films

Warner Bros. Pictures is reportedly planning to make two "Tarzan" movies. The first film will be written by Adam Cozad, who provided script for "Archangel", while the second flick will be written by Craig Brewer, the director and scribe for "Black Snake Moan".

Deadline reports that after the writers finish the scripts, the studio will decide which one will be turned into a film first. The site also mentions that the rejected one will serve as a draft for the film sequel.

Soon after words leaked that Universal, Imagine and NBC's ambitious project "The Dark Tower" is in trouble, Imagine president Michael Rosenberg came with denial. "Dark Tower is not in turnaround," he told THR, adding "there are issues and on-going budget discussions with almost every film in development."

The movie based on Stephen King's novel of the same name was developed as a film trilogy with a TV component in between the movies. The latest report said that Universal and its new owners at Comcast are facing "serious" budget issues which stall the project. In addition, sources said that the final portion of the trilogy has been found "creatively lacking".

James Cromwell Wants Jockey Club Boss to Back PETA Campaign

Organizers at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have proposed the Thoroughbred 360 Lifecycle Retirement Fund, which raises money to help look after racehorses no longer in their prime and save them from slaughter.

And, on the eve (May 6, 2011) of the U.S. Kentucky Derby, one of the industry's most anticipated races, James Cromwell is urging The Jockey Club president James Gagliano to give his backing to the cause.

Ginnifer Goodwin's Nightmare Move to New York

The "Walk the Line" star Ginnifer Goodwin always had big hopes of making the trip the day after she graduated from theater school, but she admits the confusing solo car ride from Boston, Massachusetts to the Big Apple in 2001 sent her into a fit of tears.

Describing the journey during an appearance on U.S. TV's "Live with Regis and Kelly" on Friday, she says, "I saw the skyscrapers in the distance and I was driving back and forth and I called my mother crying. It was before we had navigation systems and iPhones. And I couldn't drive and look at the map."

Tina Fey Makes Up Songs to Avoid Fees

Tina Fey, the star and creator of the series "30 Rock", admits she and her castmates often take creative liberty with the music in order to keep production costs low.

She says, "We started making our own songs because it's just free. We had this scene where it was like (we needed) this really crunchy lady music. And so we wanted to play Joni Mitchell and we couldn't pay for it. So I was like, 'We'll just make it up.'"
