He reportedly went against doctors' order by going ahead with his show in Brisbane on Tuesday, and subsequent reports suggested the singer was on the verge of cancelling Thursday's concert in Sydney.

The 25-year-old singer, Lady GaGa, was seen breaking down in tears in documentary footage recorded in her dressing room at Manhattan's famous Madison Square Garden venue.

She wept as she opened up about her insecurities, saying, "I still sometimes feel like a loser kid in high school."

British newspapers reported on Thursday, April 28, that the 24-year-old has been asked to perform for the newlyweds at Buckingham Palace at an after-dinner party.

A source tells Britain's Daily Mail, "Ellie was knocked off her feet when she received the invitation to perform for Prince William and Kate - and was so hugely honored when they said they were both big fans of her music."

Elton John's mum has spoken of her heartbreak over her three-year rift with the singer, whom she alleges has "cut me out of his life". Sheila Farebrother was a witness at Elton's 2005 civil ceremony with his partner David Furnish but her relationship with the star has since fallen apart and they no longer speak.

Javier Bardem has signed up to star in "The Dark Tower". New York Post recently reported that the Academy Award-winning actor has officially taken the lead role of Roland Deschain in the big screen version of Stephen King's book series.

"The Dark Tower" is planned to be made into three films with the TV series filling the gap between each movie. Ron Howard will direct the first film and the first season of a tie-in television series, with Akiva Goldsman writing both. The first big screen installment is expected to come out on May 17, 2013 in the U.S.

Incubus are jamming in a music video filmed for their new single "Adolescents". Instead of bothering with storyline, the clip solely focuses on Brandon Boyd and his bandmates as they perform the lead single of their new album "If Not Now, When?".

New Line/Warner Bros. have set new release date for "Final Destination 5". The horror movie, which was scheduled to make its way out on August 26, is now slated to hit U.S. theaters on August 12.

In the meantime, release date for sci-fi film "Apollo 18" has also been shifted. Previously scheduled to grace theaters across the nation on January 6, 2012, the film by The Weinstein Company will arrive in theaters on August 26.

Chord Overstreet could be getting serious with Emma Roberts. After the two were reported to be hooking up at Coachella, Hollywood Life came out with a report that the Sam Evans of "Glee" is keeping the spark between him and the "Scream 4" beauty sizzling with text messages.

Deadline reported that Lynch will take the role of Mother Superior. The character runs the orphanage where Chris Diamantopoulos' Moe, Sean Hayes' Larry and Will Sasso's Curly grow up, unsuccessfully trying to get them adopted.

Jason Sudeikis will be the new MTV Movie Awards host, marking the third time the committee has assigned a comedy actor to fill the position. Sudeikis, a regular of "Saturday Night Live" will make his debut as host at the annual ceremony's 20th year which will be held on June 5 at Universal City's Gibson Amphitheater.

"I'm sincerely flattered that the folks from the Mostly Teenage Viewers network have invited me to host this year and I look forward to keeping the streak of flawless and critically-lauded movie award show hosting in 2011 alive," Jason said in a statement.

Adele keeps coming back to No. 1 place on Billboard Hot 200. This week, her second studio album "21" has once again rebound to the hot spot, thanks to its 65 percent upstick in sales (153,000 copies). This album gives the British singer her fifth non-consecutive week atop the list.

Adele's reign on the chart has blocked the only new entry of this week, "Glee The Music Presents the Warblers", to taste the penthouse. Featuring Darren Criss and the other kids from the Warblers Academy, the latest compilation of the FOX hit TV series lands at No. 2 with 86,000 units sold in its opening week. It rakes in the second-smallest selling number after "The Rocky Horror Glee Show (EP)" bowed with 48,000 last year.

New international trailer for "X-Men: First Class" has arrived online. The video, via Bleeding Cool, has fresh action scenes of a battle between humankind and mutants. There are also scenes where Ray Wise's Secretary of State of the United States and Oliver Platt's Man in Black discuss the war in the Pentagon.

"X-Men: First Class" will chart the epic beginning of the X-Men saga, when Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. They were working together with other Mutants to stop Armageddon. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men.

A little-known actor has launched an online bid to raise cash to fund a trip to Los Angeles so he can propose to pop star Avril Lavigne. Jason Selvig wants to raise $5,000 (GBP3,125) to cover his travel costs and expenses - and strangely enough, people are already pledging to help him succeed via funding platform website Kickstarter.com.

Aerosmith star Steven Tyler has confirmed reports he's going solo after recording what he thinks is the ultimate summer anthem. The rocker is enjoying a popularity boost thanks to a stint as a judge on "American Idol" and he's making the most of his success by releasing "(It) Feels So Good" in May. He says, "I can hear it coming out of people's cars this summer."

It's Tyler's second solo effort in less than a year - in November he released "Love Lives", the theme song for a Japanese film, titled "Space Battleship Yamato".

Movie veteran Debbie Reynolds has blasted pal Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband for staging publicity stunts as his wife fights for her life. The "Singin' in the Rain" star has taken aim at Prince Frederic von Anhalt in her weekly column for U.S. publication the Globe, calling his recent announcement that he plans to have a baby via a surrogate "unbelievable".

Reynolds writes, "Just when you think Prince Frederick has run out of tricks, her comes up with another one. This idea is ludicrous. Zsa Zsa already has a daughter who loves her. Having a baby around the house is beyond bizarre. Zsa Zsa has been through so much (and) she isn't able to fight his wacky publicity stunts... She still deserves some privacy and peace."

Justin Bieber's first dramatic movie could be on the way. Reports have just emerged that the singer is in negotiations to star in an untitled basketball movie that will center on street basketball, the perfect platform that will enable Bieber to showcase both his acting talent and basketball skill.

If the deal goes through, Bieber could be starring alongside Mark Wahlberg who is also set to produce the film with Stephen Levinson and Bieber's manager Scooter Braun. The team actually is formed around TV series "How to Make It in America" in which creator Ian Edelman works with executive producers Wahlberg and Levinson. Edelman is to provide the script to the new project.

British trio N-Dubz throw a party in a music video which is premiered to support their latest single "Cold Shoulder". Dappy and Fazer dance with scantily-clad ladies, while Tulisa shakes her body with some gentlemen in tuxedo.

Co-produced by Salaam Remi, "Cold Shoulder" is lifted from N-Dubz's third studio album "Love Live Life" which has been in stores since November 2010 in the U.K. The album peaked at No. 7 on U.K. album chart and climbed to No. 2 on the country's R&B chart.

"Man of Steel" is close to get its female villain. German actress Antje Traue is allegedly up to star as Faora in the new "Superman" project. However, since there are two characters, named Faora, introduced in "Superman" comics, it is unclear which Faora character Antje will play.

Variety speculates that Antje will take the role of Faora introduced in Action Comics #779. This Faora is a Pokolistanian aide of General Zod, and an orphan metahuman whose ability is to disrupt molecular bonds. Her ability allows her to create a mutagenic virus which clears the way for Zod's plan.

There is apparently no holds barred for Alex Pettyfer when it comes to interview. The leading man of "I Am Number Four" revealed in an interview with VMan magazine that he has the words "Thank You" etched on the skin above his crotch. On the reason why, he replied with a wink, "In case I forget to say it."

Details about his new album are still scarce, but Ne-Yo and Sean Garrett have previously mentioned their involvement in the project. "I am writing for Justin but I'm finding it kinda hard as it's a long time since I was 16 years old," Ne-Yo once said. Julianne Moore transformed herself to Sarah Palin in "Game Change", donning the trademark eyeglasses and the hair-do. The actress is to portray the former Alaska Governor and vice presidential candidate in the HBO film which began its production on Wednesday, April 27 and released the first photo of its Palin.

"Game Change" is based on the bestselling book of the same name by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin. It follows John McCain's 2008 presidential campaign, from his controversial selection of Palin as his running mate to their ultimate defeat in the general election. Just hours after hundreds of British military made their practice run for the royal wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton have attended their own final rehearsal. On Wednesday night, April 28, the British royal and his fiancee arrived at Westminster Abbey to run through their Friday, April 29 wedding.

Multiple news reported the couple arrived at around 7:30 P.M. in a chauffeur-driven Range Rover. People Magazine, in particular, detailed that 28-year-old William wore a charcoal grey suit, while his 29-year-old fiancee opted to go with a black dress. Upon their arrival, the two were ushered into a side entrance.

Justin Bieber and Rascal Flatts' duet, "That Should Be Me", will compete for Collaborative Video of the Year - going up against multiple nominee Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson's track, "Don't You Wanna Stay".

Aldean leads all nominations with four mentions - three for his hit song "My Kinda Party", which will battle for Video of the Year, Male Video of the Year and Best Web Video of the Year.

The Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler checked into rehab in late 2009 to address a problem with painkillers. It was his eighth stint in treatment and Tyler admits he had no idea how much his wild behaviour had affected his home life until Taj, now 19, broke down in front of him.

Lohan, who pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanour, posted bail shortly after she was booked into Lynwood Correctional Facility and is set to appeal the probation ruling.
