A desperate Lady GaGa fan has been charged with animal cruelty for allegedly killing her cat and using the dead pet's blood to complete an outfit she planned to wear to one of her heroine's concerts. Angelina Barnes, 20, had smeared her face and arms in the cat's blood and was just about to leave her Oklahoma City home for a GaGa concert on April 11 when a relative walked in on her - and saw the carnage.

Local news station KFOR-TV reports the cat had been cut to pieces after Barnes drowned the pet in the bathroom. The animal's liver was found in a make-up case. Barnes was taken to Griffin Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma, where she is receiving treatment after being diagnosed with depression.

Nina Dobrev is ready to make a transition from a TV star to a movie babe. Claiming her fame through The CW's "The Vampire Diaries", Dobrev is cast in a film based on Stephen Chbosky's novel "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" as a new character which cannot be found in the book, Candance.

Chbosky, who would also direct the film, adapted the novel to a screenplay for Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Paul Rudd. Lerman is to take the lead role of Charlie who is driven to drugs, abortion, and homosexuality after his bestfriend's suicide. Watson presumably plays his older love interest and Rudd his English teacher.

David Cook has unveiled details of his upcoming second studio album. In a press release issued by RCA on Friday, April 15, it's revealed that the new effort is officially titled "This Loud Morning". The artwork has been unwrapped as well, featuring him standing in front of several abandoned loudspeaker systems.
