Vanity Fair's February issue which puts Justin Bieber on its front page has been unwrapped. It features the teen singer having a lot of kissing marks on her neck, shoulder and face. As if explaining how he got the hickeys, one of the pictures from the photoshoot sees him surrounded by many young ladies.

In an accompanying article, Bieber considers himself "crazy". The pop idol explained, "Just the way my brain works. I'm not normal. I think differently - my mind is always racing. I'm just ... nuts. But I think the best [musicians] probably are."

CBS Films has dropped an age-restricted trailer for "The Mechanic" via IGN. Some bloody scenes are seen in the video as it follows Jason Statham's Arthur Bishop, an elite assassin who wants to take revenge on his mentor's (Donald Sutherland's Harry) death.

His mission grows complicated when Harry's son Steve, portrayed by Ben Foster, approaches him with the same vengeful goal and a determination to learn Bishop's trade. A methodical hit man takes an impulsive student deep into his world and a deadly partnership is born.

Justin Bieber had a good time during his stay in Africa, and he shared it with his fans. The Canadian singer played cowbell and other instruments with an African band when he was at the restaurant Mama Africa in Cape Town, South Africa.

"The band was playing and I decided to just jump up and join them," he wrote in an accompanying video. "Everyone was staring at me at dinner so I just figured what the heck let's party!! It was great and me and the band had alot of fun. I LOVE MUSIC!! MAMA AFRICA!!"

Former Dream Theater and Avenged Sevenfold drummer Mike Portnoy has formed a new supergroup with members of Deep Purple and Endochine. The unnamed outfit, announced via Portnoy's Twitter.com account, will feature guitarist Steve Morse, cNeal and bassist Dave LaRue. Former Endochine star Casey McPherson will front the group.

Blabbermouth.net reports the band has just entered the studio to begin work on a new album. Neal Morse says, "Last April I got together with Steve Morse to do some writing and to see what would happen with a collaboration between the two of us... I went down to his house in Florida and spent some days with him, getting to know him and writing some music and we had a really good time. So we've been talking about doing a project together for a while."

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding is engaged to her DJ boyfriend Tom Crane. Crane, who has been dating the British beauty since 2007, proposed during a romantic New Year's break in the Maldives.

A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Sarah is absolutely thrilled. She didn't see it coming at all. When he went down on one knee it came as a huge surprise. Their relationship has gone from strength to strength since they moved in together. They are inseparable. Tom has shelled out on a big sparkler to let everyone know she's now taken."

Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil will have to wait until the end of January to stand trial for DUI and speeding. His court date has been pushed back after a new judge was allocated to the case.

The star is accused of driving while intoxicated and speeding at 60 miles per hour (96.6 kilometers per hour) in a 45 mile per hour (72.4 kilometers per hour) zone near the Las Vegas Strip in June last year. In October 2010, he pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor drink driving and speeding charges and was slated to appear in court on Thursday, January 6.

Actor Aaron Johnson has been crowned Britain's best dressed man by GQ magazine, taking over from last year's winner Robert Pattinson. The "Twilight" hunk was placed in fourth spot in the latest rundown by the British style bible, while the big surprise in the poll was Victoria Adams and David Beckham's eight-year-old son son Romeo - who was placed 26th in the chart.

Other celebrities hailed for their fashion credentials include Jude Law, British royals Prince Harry and Prince William, "Doctor Who" star Matt Smith and super producer Mark Ronson.

Former "Doctor Who" star David Tennant is planning a wedding after proposing to his actress girlfriend Georgia Moffett, according to a U.K. report. The Scottish actor has been dating Moffett, who is the daughter of another former "Doctor Who", Peter Davison, since she appeared on the time-travelling TV show in 2008.

The pair is now planning to marry on New Year's Day 2012, reports Britain's The Sun. A source tells the publication, "They are besotted with each other and can't wait to tie the knot."

The celebrity tributes to Pete Postlethwaite are continuing to pour in - his ex-girlfriend Julie Walters as well as actors Kevin Spacey and Simon Pegg, have all made dedications to the late star. The Oscar-nominated actor passed away at a hospital in Shropshire, England on Sunday, January 2 after a lengthy illness and Hollywood has been left in mourning.

Ben Affleck, Bill Nighy and Daniel Day-Lewis have all paid tribute to Postlethwaite - and now Walters, who dated the star in the 1970s, has shared her own memories of acting icon. She praises Postlethwaite as "the most exciting, exhilarating actor of his generation", adding, "He invented edgy. He was an exhilarating person and actor... I saw him in 'Coriolanus' and it was the most terrifying, wonderful performance I have ever seen. The audience were privileged to see it."

Over the weekend, Chris Brown gave his devotees double treats by unveiling two new songs. One called "Where Do We Go" features Pitbull, and the other titled "Look at Me" has him joining forces with Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne. Both carry some club sound.

Breezy sings in the former, "Where do we go from here/ Somebody please let me know/ Where do we go from here/ I want the whole world to show." He then does some rapping in the latter, "Yellow model chick, yellow bottle sipping, yellow Lamborghini, yellow top missing. The midseason TV officially kicked off on January 1 with the returns of such shows as "Desperate Housewives" and "Pretty Little Liars" as well as the premieres of OWN programs. In the next few months there will be plenty of other shows either coming back for a new season or debuting its first.

"Caprica", premiering January 4, will air its final 5 episodes for it was not renewed by Syfy. It would also be the final season of HBO's "Big Love". Paula Abdul's new judging vehicle, "Live to Dance", would debut on January 4, followed within the week by the third season of "Jersey Shore", and "Merlin" which moves to Syfy.

David Cook is currently in the middle of finishing his upcoming second major-label album. In anticipation of the new record, the 2008 winner of "American Idol" teases his new music in a form of black-and-white studio footage.

The clip gives a look at the recording process of the studio album as some music is played on the background. The songs that were teased in the video reportedly are "Goodbye to the Girl" and "Paper Heart", and both were co-written by Cook.

More characters from "Green Lantern" have been unraveled though the film has not hit theaters yet. The Daily Blam has got its hand on the pictures of action figures from upcoming "Green Lantern" movie line, giving a look at Rot Lop Fan and G'Hu.

Rot Lop Fan is a member of the Green Lantern Corps and protects Space Sector 911. He is blind and uses a power ring based upon the principles of sound. As for G'Hu, he was a prison guard on Takron-Galtos before chosen to be a Green Lantern.

After splitting from Zac Farro and Josh Farro, Paramore are forced to find replacements since they are set to go on a tour across South America this year. Justin York is hired to serve as guitarist and take Josh's place, and Josh Freese is tapped to fill in Zac's shoes and play drums.

Instead of joining as permanent members, Justin and Josh are booked only for the upcoming South American tour. Frontwoman Hayley Williams wrote on Twitter, "Neither Josh freese nor Justin York are joining as members, just helping us for the South American tour :)"

The Libertines frontman Carl Barat has become a first-time father - his girlfriend gave birth to a baby boy over the festive period. The rocker and his partner Edie Langley welcomed their son between Christmas and the New Year.

Taking to his Twitter.com page to announce the happy news, Barat wrote, "Mehreh (sic) Christmas one and all. I am the devastatingly proud father of a boy, who's name is Eli."

American football great Brett Favre's retirement has started with another sex scandal - two massage therapists have accused the sportsman of sexual harassment. The quarterback was hit with a $50,000 fine for refusing to help National Football League officials investigating allegations he sent a former New York Jets employee a camera phone photo of his penis and now, a day after announcing his retirement, he faces fresh allegations from his time in New York in 2008.

Christina Scavo and Shannon O'Toole claim Favre mistreated them and made unwanted sexual advances in their legal papers. The masseuses also name the Jets operation as defendants, claiming the team created a culture that was "a hot bed of sexual harassment... and inappropriate behavior." In her complaint, Scavo claims Favre treated her like a "hanging slab of meat" and asked her to engage in three-way sex with her and another therapist.

Rap star Waka Flocka Flame has surrendered to police in Georgia after a heart to heart chat with his mum. The "Onion Booty" hitmaker, real name Juaquin Malphurs, is being held on charges including drug and weapons possession as well as criminal street gang activity and a probation violation.

Henry County police arrested two people at Waka Flocka's home for possession of marijuana last month. Police issued a warrant for his arrest because he was not home at the time. His friend and associate Gucci Mane was briefly handcuffed during the raid.

"Glee" star Heather Morris' upcoming directorial debut on Will Ferrell's comedy website has inspired her to take moviemaking more seriously - she's planning to launch her own production company.

The dancer/actress is keen to set up a firm with a pal, after preparing for her upcoming filmmaking debut on Ferrell's Funnyordie.com, and she's focused on getting more comfortable with camera equipment so she can work behind the scenes.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's doctors have delayed plans to amputate the Hollywood veteran's leg in the hope that powerful antibiotics will help to clear up a spreading lesion. The actress was taken to UCLA Medical Center on Sunday, January 2 after the lesion began showing signs of gangrene.

Her husband Prince Frederic Von Anhalt told media agencies his wife had been scheduled for surgery before Christmas, but chose to delay it. The star's representative John Blanchette now tells People.com, "Over the next two days, the doctors are treating her with powerful antibiotics in the hope that they will affect the lesion on her lower leg... It's now very deep, and 12 inches long."

Some pictures from "Water for Elephants" have been officially released online. Most of them had been seen gracing printed People and Entertainment Weekly magazines and were then shared to internet users in scan version.

A movie adaptation of Sara Gruen's bestseller book with the same title, "Water for Elephants" is a story of veterinary student called Jacob who is put in charge of caring for the animals in a traveling circus. He later falls in love with Reese Witherspoon's Marlena, a beautiful equestrian rider, but she is married to the troupe's charismatic but dangerous animal trainer, August.

Could Amber Portwood let go of her $280,000 a year salary? This would be the question that pops to mind when the "Teen Mom" said that she is planning to quit the MTV show for it has given her a bad press. The 20-year-old was recently arrested on charges she assaulted ex-fiance Gary Shirley.

In a new video interview with TMZ, Amber admitted that she is conflicted in her celebrity status. "I might get attention, but it's not the right attention," she said. And then she added, "I turned 20 and I don't want to be known as 'Amber from Teen Mom'."

Pop star Christina Milian has opened up about her hellish marriage to producer Terius 'The-Dream' Nash, confessing she knew he was cheating on her but thought she could fix the broken relationship. Nash filed for divorce from Milian just days before the couple's daughter Violet was born last February. They reached a settlement out of court in November.

Details about their split agreement and custody plans were not disclosed and Milian insists that information will never be made public - although she's taken issue with inaccurate claims she's been ordered to remain silent about their brief marriage.

Singer Toni Braxton's financial woes may be over after signing a lucrative new reality TV deal. The "Un-Break My Heart" hitmaker was hit with a $400,000 federal tax lien in March, but she's starting 2011 off with a big boost as the star of new U.S. cable show "Braxton Family Values".

The series will launch in April and feature Braxton, her sons, and sisters Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar. It will air on the WE network.

Justin Timberlake fans have been fooled by a new leaked track - it's not him. A song called "Take You Down" appeared online last week and sent devotees into a spin, but now the singer/actor's representative has revealed it's not the "SexyBack" star on the track.

The publicist tells EW.com, "The song is the work of a Danish artist named Rasmus Thude. Justin's representatives were not initially contacted to fact check the validity of these reports or if the song was, in fact, his. Justin has no involvement with either the song or the artist but wants to assure his fans that when he releases new music, they will be the first to know."

Lindsay Lohan's comeback career has been given a big boost - she has signed Robert Downey Jr.'s entertainment lawyer to help her book lucrative TV and movie deals. The actress is expected to leave the Betty Ford Clinic in California on Monday, January 3 after spending almost four months there, battling the drug and alcohol abuse problems that blighted her 2010 - and her father Michael has confirmed she's planning her return to the spotlight with the man who helped Downey, Jr. recreate his Hollywood career after a series of drug busts.

Michael Lohan says, "Tom Hansen is her entertainment attorney, and Tom Hansen is Robert Downey, Jr.'s lawyer and he really helped Robert put things in the right place."

Newly-single Ryan Reynolds joined his "The Proposal" co-star Sandra Bullock for New Year at her restaurant in Texas. The two pals, who both separated from their partners in 2010, were spotted together at Bess Bistro over the holiday weekend.

Insiders suggest the two old friends have been staging the New Year's party at the diner for years. Bullock split from and divorced husband Jesse James in 2010, while Reynolds ended the year by announcing he and his wife Scarlett Johansson had split.

20th Century Fox is moving fast with its "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" film franchise. After releasing the first film in early 2010, now the studio is prepping to drop the sequel "Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules" on March 25.

An early look at the movie has been provided in a form of teaser trailer which is debuted via Yahoo! Movies. It follows Greg Heffley who is now on the seventh grade and dealing with problems, new and old, but none more prominent than the punishments of his older brother Rodrick.

Various media outlets reported on January 3 that Lindsay Lohan has left California's Betty Ford. However, the troubled songstress quickly denied the report, sending e-mails to several websites and insisting she was still in the facility and not sure when she would be out.

Rumors that followed the denial suggested she was at the gym and took a BF sobriety class that day. It was also reported she would stay at the facility at least until this weekend. In the middle of those confusing reports, her mother Dina confirmed the release. "It's a great day," she simply told E! Online.

Brad Womack officially got a second chance at finding his soul mate through "The Bachelor". On the January 3 premiere, the bachelor faced the consequence of rejecting both the final two women in season 11. Not only DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft were back to confront him, but also some of the new bachelorettes gave him a hard time.

Chantal O'Brien was the first girl to come out of the limo and she gave Brad a good smack on the face. Pappas was also being hard on him, saying "It is real hard for someone to get to the real part of me. Hip-hop icons Jay-Z and Kanye West are serving up a New Year's treat for their devoted fans - they are set to release their highly-anticipated joint album within a week. The rap giants unveiled plans for a collaborative EP, entitled "Watch the Throne", in August 2010 after teaming up for their latest hit song "Monster".

The disc was not given a specific release date and was only slated for early 2011, but West delighted partygoers at their star-studded New Year's Eve bash in Las Vegas when he announced the project would soon be on its way.

Wyclef Jean's troubled Yele Haiti charity is under further financial scrutiny amid reports the organization's vice president received a $42,000 salary increase in 2009. According to tax filings obtained by the New York Post, Zakiya Khatou-Chevassus was paid $147,000 for her services in 2009 after being promoted from consultant to vice president.

The sum is a $42,000 bump from 2008 and nearly $15,000 more than the charity's president, Hugh Locke. The report emerges months after Jean blasted rumors linking him romantically to Khatou-Chevassus, who allegedly worked as his personal assistant prior to her involvement with Yele Haiti.

Robert De Niro has developed a new found interest in the art world as the protector and promoter of his late father's artwork. Robert De Niro, Sr. enjoyed early success as an artist and art dealer Lawrence Salander was entrusted with his estate after he died of prostate cancer in 1993.

But the "Raging Bull" actor was prompted to take greater control of his father's art legacy in 2010, when Salander was imprisoned for fraud. Prosecutors claimed bosses at Salander-O'Reilly Galleries sold De Niro, Sr.'s paintings without the Hollywood star's knowledge and failed to hand over the profits from the sales.

Having tasted No. 1 single on Adult Contemporary Singles chart with remix of Smokey Robinson's "Cruisin' " and led "Country Strong" to get a Best Original Song nomination at Golden Globe Awards for her track "Coming Home", Gwyneth Paltrow says she couldn't see herself stop playing music. "I think there definitely will be singing in my future," she tells Yahoo!.

MTV avoided getting fined by FCC by ordering JWoww to tame down her outfit for the network's recent New Year's Bash. JWoww, real name Jenni Farley, was one of the "Jersey Shore" gang who were on duty to entertain the crowd in Seaside Heights and she decided to grab the attention with her daring ensemble.

The 24-year-old, who is famous for the size of her breasts, put on pasties over her nipples and wore just chains as top. But MTV was not risking anything, telling her to put on a white blazer that barely covered her front part.

Little has been known regarding "Monsters, Inc. 2" since it was first reported being developed in 2008. But now, Disney Central Plaza (via Stitch Kingdom) has a tidbit from the project, saying that the movie is going to be a prequel.

The site claims that a Disney film catalog has a brief plot synopsis for the film. And according to the synopsis, the upcoming movie "will take us back to before a time when Mike Wazowski was top comedian, before James P. Sullivan was top scarer, even before the buddies joined the MI workforce. In fact it takes us all the way back to school - the University of Fear to be precise. Although the two start out as frenemies, Monsters, Inc. 2 will weave the tale of how the dynamic duo transition from rivals to BFFs."

Foxy Brown has called in her lawyers to deal with a woman she claims has been posing as her manager and releasing "fake" news about her career. The rapper claims her attorneys have sent a cease-and-desist letter to Bernadette Brennan over allegations she distributed a false press release about the star's musical plans.

The statement, reported by Allhiphop.com, is said to have suggested Brown was due to release a new single called "You Aint Ruff Enough" on January 1. But Brown - real name Inga Marchand - claims the information is untrue and insists she is managed by her brothers, Gavin and Anton Marchand.

Jack Black has been transported to the top of the global box office chart - "Gulliver's Travels" has kickstarted 2011 as the world's most popular movie. The big screen adaptation of Jonathan Swift's 18th century classic edged past Disney's "Tron Legacy", grossing $24 million outside the North American market to chart internationally at number one, while Jeff Bridges' sci-fi sequel is second with $23.7 million.

Comedy "Little Fockers", which maintained its title as America's top film for the second consecutive week this weekend, is at three with $22.5 million, boosting its worldwide gross to $175.2 million. "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and "The Tourist" round out the top five.

Embattled American sports star Brett Favre is hanging up his football boots after 20 years in the game, admitting "it's time" to walk away from the field for good. The Minnesota Vikings football player made the announcement after his team lost to the Detroit Lions on Sunday, January 2, although he sat out the game due to a concussion.

Favre, widely considered to be one of the best quarterbacks of all time, has formally declared his intentions to retire on two previous occasions, in 2008 and 2009, only to return to the sport the following season.

Hugh Hefner made his Christmas Day proposal to Playboy Playmate Crystal Harris extra special by theming it around her favorite movie "The Little Mermaid". The 84-year-old publishing mogul popped the question to his 24-year-old fiancee over the holidays and he personalized the proposal by handing Harris her ring in an unusual box.

Hefner explains, "I got her a little music box with the Mermaid theme to it, and it just looked like the perfect size and the perfect place to be the ring box. So when she started unwrapping that gift, I reached over and wound it so it was playing music while she discovered what was inside."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have made a $2 million donation to the wildlife sanctuary in Namibia where they spent Christmas. The Hollywood couple jetted off to the African country with their six children to spend the holidays at the Naankuse Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary.

The festive destination had special meaning for their daughter Shiloh, who was born in Namibia in 2006, and the couple kept up its links to the country by donating cash to the resort where they stayed, which is run by Dr Rudie van Vuuren and his wife Marlice.

Actress Anne Francis has died at the age of 80. The veteran star, best known for her role opposite Leslie Nielsen in 1956 sci-fi classic "Forbidden Planet", passed away on Sunday, January 2 at a retirement home in Santa Barbara, California after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Francis started her career as a child model and later worked as a radio actress before moving on to the big screen in the late 1940s. She enjoyed roles in more than 30 movies, including "Funny Girl" and "Summer Holiday", as well as TV appearances in "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.", "Honey West" and "The Fugitive".

Paramount Pictures has unleashed a red band trailer for "No Strings Attached" and it shows how raunchy the film would be. Filled with some adult-themed dialogs, sex scenes and F-word, the trailer also gives a glimpse of Ashton Kutcher's naked butt.

Natalie Portman takes the female lead role of Emma Franklin who makes agreement with her friend, Kutcher's Adam Kurtzman, to start a relationship where they have sex without involving any emotional baggage. But it's not long before they learn that they want something more.

Next week on "Pretty Little Liars", Hanna's return home from the hospital should be a joyous event, but being stuck in a wheelchair and feeling haunted by "A" makes her return feel more like a Hitchcock nightmare than a proper homecoming. The Black Eyed Peas were left in the dark during a New Year's Eve performance at a private party in the Caribbean after the venue was hit by a blackout. The band was hired to play at a bash hosted by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich at his luxurious estate on the island of St Barts.

But as midnight struck, the group's set was brought to a sudden halt by a power cut - the microphones cut out and the lights went off. NASA scientists have named John Cusack's blockbuster "2012 (2009)" as the most "absurd" sci-fi film of all time. Experts at America's National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Science and Entertainment Exchange have put together a list of the least plausible science fiction movies ever made, and the big budget 2009 picture came top.

The film, which depicted Earth besieged by natural disasters, featured ahead of two more 'end-of-the-world' movies - 2003's "The Core" and 1998's "Armageddon". Donald Yeomans, head of NASA's Near-Earth Asteroid Rendezvous mission, says of "2012", "It's absurd. The film-makers took advantage of public worries about the so-called end of the world as apparently predicted by the Mayans of Central America, whose calendar ends on December 21, 2012."

Shania Twain went private for her nuptials with Frederic Thiebaud on January 1, but she is willing to share to public some pictures from the wedding. Two photos are released via her official website, showing off the couple's natural affection.

Frederic, who wore a white suit on top of black shirt, is captured lifting Shania with the backdrop of a beach in Rincon, Puerto Rico. The two are additionally seen walking side by side along the sea shore with the groom carrying her Calvin Klein shoes.

Oprah Winfrey claimed she was nervous before launching her OWN network on January 1, but she can take a sigh of relief now. The network received a respectable number of 1 million viewers, thanks to the holiday night and "Season 25: Oprah Behind the Scenes" which is about Oprah's old syndicated show.

The biggest draw so far from the network comes from the program which scored 1.2 million viewers when aired at 8 P.M. on January 1. It continued to be the most watched program on OWN the second day and helped OWN to land the third place in the time period among all cable networks in women 25-54.

British actor Pete Postlethwaite has died at the age of 64. The Oscar-nominated actor passed away at a hospital in Shropshire, England on Sunday, January 2 following a lengthy illness, a friend tells Sky News. He had previously battled testicular cancer in the 1990s.

After starting his career as a teacher, Postlethwaite went on to train at the revered Bristol Old Vic Theatre School before taking to the stage at the Liverpool Everyman Theatre alongside Bill Nighy, Jonathan Pryce and Julie Walters.

Jazmine Sullivan is vying for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at this year's Grammy Awards. But a month before the event, she stunned her fans by announcing that she decided to quit music. "I'm making an official announcement that i am taking a break from music. i'm trying to figure out who i am... w/out a mike, paper or pen," she began.

The Online Film Critics Society has unveiled their picks for the best in 2010. Continuing its triumph at several awards events, "The Social Network" takes home Best Picture kudo from OFCS. The movie leads the pack of winners with two additional prizes for Best Director (David Fincher) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin).

"Inception" follows with two awards; Best Original Screenplay for Christopher Nolan and Best Editing for Lee Smith. "True Grit" also gets two; Best Supporting Actress for newcomer Hailee Steinfeld and Best Cinematography for Roger Deakins.

So much for being a heartthrob's lover, Selena Gomez has received death threats from Justin Bieber's fans after photos of their intimate moment leaked. The teen stars went on a Caribbean vacation together over the New Year and despite their denial of a romance, the photos showed that 'friends' is not the right term.

Now the Twitter-verse has been filled with nasty comments for Gomez who is two years older than Bieber. One fan wrote," If you are the Girlfriend of Justin I will Kill you I HATE YOU :@ !!!" and another threatened, "stay away from Justin pedophile, retard wait i'm gonna kill ya in the night underneath your smelly bed."
