A new sneak peek for "The Fighter" has made its way out online. An exclusive courtesy of IGN, the video compiles scenes from the action sequences, featuring glimpses of Mark Wahlberg's Micky Ward's intense training sessions as well as his real fight on the ring. In the meantime, his girlfriend Charlene who is portrayed by Amy Adams is seen brawling with a woman in another scene.

The movie revolves around the life of professional Irish boxer "Irish" Micky Ward and his trainer-brother Dick Eklund. It will chronicle their early days on the rough streets of Lowell, Mass., through Eklund's battle with drugs and Ward's eventual world championship in London.

10-year-old "America's Got Talent" alum, Jackie Evancho, has just revealed a music video to support debut single "Silent Night" via Entertainment Weekly. It features Jackie playing snow around a Christmas tree with her older brother, Jacob.

It seems to mirror her own Christmas tradition at home. "We do whatever normal kid does," the little girl gushed of what she usually does with her family during the holiday. "We try to sneak a peek of Santa, we go to our Grandma's house, have Christmas dinner, and then go to bed and wait for Santa to come."

The Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood's ex-wife Jo Wood is living in her own country home after finally selling the former couple's marital mansion. Jo won the couple's property in Surrey, England as part of their out-of-court divorce settlement last year and was eager to sell the multi-million dollar residence.

She managed to offload the home for just below the $19.5 million asking price and is now living in her own place. Jo tells Britain's Daily Express, "I've moved, I'm out! I'm in a converted barn and it's all mine."

Rap mogul Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs will put his comedy skills to the test next week when he leads the tongue-in-cheek tributes to TV executive Stephen Hill at an industry 'roast' in New York. Combs will be joined by actors Gabrielle Union, Nick Cannon, Anthony Anderson and Mike Epps to help honor Hill in a comedic fashion at the City of Hope's fourth annual Music and Entertainment Industry event.

Hill serves as the president of music programming and specials at U.S. TV's BET Networks, and executive produces the BET Honors and BET Hip-Hop Awards. The roast will take place on December 9.

Jazz star Jamie Cullum has apologized to fans after he was forced to axe a gig in France due to extreme snowfall sweeping the country. The "Everlasting Love" singer was due to perform in Lyon on Wednesday, December 1 but Cullum and his crew were unable to make it to the Bourse Du Travail venue.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "It is with great sadness that we have to pull the gig tonight. The snow has prevented us from getting to Lyon. We are still miles away."

Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian was appalled to discover her call to the emergency services prior to son Mason's hospitalization in November has been made public, insisting the message should have remained private.

Baby Mason, Kardashian's 11-month-old son with boyfriend Scott Disick, was transported by ambulance from the couple's Los Angeles, California home to a nearby hospital after the worried mum dialed 911 on November 19. He was treated for an allergic reaction and subsequently released from the facility.

Ben Affleck is nursing a bruised ego after he was caught speeding in Los Angeles while traveling with his actress wife Jennifer Garner. The "Daredevil, The Movie" star was driving his Lexus car in Santa Monica on Wednesday, December 1 when police pulled over his vehicle for going over the legal speed limit.

He was fined for the traffic offense and allowed to go on his way.

Nicole Richie has reportedly settled her case against a paparazzo she accused of harassing her daughter Harlow. The snapper has agreed to stay away from the family for five years.

Richie was granted a temporary injunction in November ordering Fabricio Luis Mariotto to stay 100 yards (91 meters) away from her, her fiance Joel Madden and their two children Harlow and Sparrow, and to keep his distance from Harlow's Los Angeles school. The socialite was preparing to fight to have the order made permanent later this month, but the case has been resolved outside of court, according to TMZ.com.

And the killings continue. Serial killer drama "Dexter" is set to return for the sixth season and Showtime is getting ready to make a formal announcement in a week or so, THR reported.

In its fifth season, "Dexter" continues to deliver the good numbers needed for a renewal. It steadily absorbs above 1.6 million viewers and recently hit its season high with 2.5 million viewers. The latest number is up 43% from the fifth season premiere.

New artists B.o.B and Bruno Mars, who have more than one chance to bring home Golden Gramophone next year, teamed up for a duet of "Nothin' on You" at the recent Grammy nominations concert. The joint track has placed them in three battles, Record of the Year, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best Rap Song.

A representative for Boyz II Men has dismissed speculation the band was miming during a New York tree lighting ceremony show on Tuesday, November 30 - a technical error was to blame for the out-of-sync performance.

Jennifer Lopez is taking a serious action before her private videos make their way out for public viewing. According to Radar Online, the "Jenny From the Block" singer has taken her ex-husband Ojani Noa and his agent Ed Meyer to court to stop their purported release and marketing attempt of sexy videos made during their 11 months of marriage.

In documents filed in the case, Lopez is said "exposing her genital area in public" and displaying other "deviant behavior". Meyer adds, "JLo is riding a scooter in public in Cuba, while talking to the camera and numerous by-standers, with her privates in as plain view as Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan have in the past."

Britney Spears' representatives are preparing to launch legal action for defamation against editors at a U.S. tabloid after they published sensational allegations suggesting the pop superstar had been abused by her agent boyfriend Jason Trawick.

Movie star Kevin Costner is drawing up plans to launch his own animated TV series. "The Bodyguard" actor has developed a cartoon with a group of pals and is currently trying to find a backer to finance the project.

Costner is adamant fans will love his idea as he has taken inspiration from the works of sci-fi legend Jules Verne, English literature icon Charles Dickens and Arabian folklore. Paris Hilton was left stranded in Los Angeles on Tuesday, November 30 after her hybrid car broke down. The socialite was driving through Los Feliz when her GMC Yukon hybrid suddenly stopped at the side of the road. Hilton subsequently discovered she had run out of gas and electricity, which are both required to power the vehicle.

The blonde beauty called her pal Brooke Mueller to help her out, and the estranged wife of Charlie Sheen quickly arrived on the scene with petrol canisters to fill up Hilton's engine. Hollywood star Ben Affleck is struggling to rally support from studio executives to back his plans to make a movie about the troubles in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The actor and director has long been campaigning to raise awareness and aid for the Central African nation and established his own charitable foundation, the Eastern Congo Initiative, earlier this year to help women and children affected by rape and sexual violence.

Affleck reveals he's been wanting to turn the situation in the region into a big screen project - but his ideas have been snubbed by Hollywood heads, reports the AFP. He says, "I would love to make a movie about Congo, but unfortunately I've asked Hollywood folks and they always say, 'Ah, nobody wants to see a movie about Africa'."

P. Diddy is doing a self-campaign to get him a sketch on "Saturday Night Live". Diddy-Dirty Money are the guest performer this week with Robert De Niro as host. While it's common that the music act would do a sketch or two, the rapper reveals that he has been excluded so far.

Diddy wrote on his Twitter, calling out to the producers and writers of the NBC show. "Attn @NBCSNL! No De Niro skit yet? Well it's live TV so I'm telling u I'm doing a skit with Robert De Niro. Better have a script ready for me. LOL." He added, "Somebody send me Robert de Niro's phone number do we can rehearse plus go over our lines for the skit we're doing together on SNL ...LOL".

New characters which are going to appear in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" have been unveiled in a newly-released clip. It follows Edmund and Prince Caspian as they are attacked by something invisible. However, they are later visible and identified as Dufflepuds, monopodal dwarves who live near the edge of the Narnian world.

Embattled teenage reality TV star Alexis Neiers has been arrested for possession of heroin, law enforcement sources tell TMZ.com. Neiers, who starred in U.S. series "Pretty Wild", is on probation after pleading no contest to a single count of first-degree residential burglary stemming from a raid on Orlando Bloom's home last year.

The 19 year old was freed from jail after serving just four weeks of a 180-day sentence for her part in the infamous 'Bling Ring' burglary gang that targeted celebrity homes across Hollywood. According to the website, Neiers never checked in for probation after being released from jail in July, prompting police officers to visit her Los Angeles home on Wednesday morning, December 1.

Jennifer Grey is scheduled to undergo surgery this month after rupturing a disc in her back during her winning stint on reality TV competition "Dancing with the Stars". The "Dirty Dancing" star was crowned the queen of the dancefloor last Tuesday, November 23, but almost pulled out of the finale altogether after injuring her spine the night before, prompting a brief hospital visit.

Now Grey, 50, has decided to go under the knife for a minor operation to fix the injury by next week. Katy Perry arrived in a gold off-shoulder and posed with Miranda Lambert who preferred an LBD with mirror details and a pair of daring red shoes.

A new photo from "Water for Elephants" starring Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon has come out via German Bravo magazine. Now a scan of the still has hit the web, giving a look at the on-screen couple's romantic sequence as they are in a loving embrace. The young actor is seen wearing a dull shirt while the leading lady looks elegant in a black dress.

Pattinson is playing an orphaned veterinary student called Jacob who is put in charge of caring for the animals in a traveling circus. He later falls in love with Witherspoon's Marlena, a beautiful equestrian rider, but she is married to the troupe's charismatic but dangerous animal trainer August. Christoph Waltz is in duty to portray Marlena's husband.

Actress Heather Locklear has been hospitalized in California for a bacterial infection. A representative for the star has confirmed to TMZ.com she has been placed on a course of antibiotics and will be released later on Wednesday, December 1.

Locklear, 49, had reportedly just returned from Canada, where she finished shooting an upcoming film, entitled "He Loves Me". It was not clear as WENN went to press when Locklear had been admitted, but she is reportedly "doing fine".

Representatives for Britney Spears and her boyfriend Jason Trawick have slammed allegations the singer has become a victim of domestic abuse following sensational accusations from her ex-husband Jason Alexander. The "Toxic" superstar has found herself back in the headlines this week after America's Star magazine published Alexander's account of the alleged beatings he claims she has suffered at the hands of Trawick.

Spears has been dating her new beau since early 2009 and he quit his job as her representative over the summer to concentrate on their romance. But Alexander, who she was famously married to for just 55 hours in 2004, claims Spears has reached out to him in a desperate plea for help after reportedly suffering a black eye during a fight with Trawick in October this year.

Police in Germany have launched an investigation into claims two computer hackers stole unreleased songs from stars including Justin Timberlake, Lady GaGa, Rihanna and Ke$ha and leaked them online. The men, aged 17 and 23, are alleged to be part of a network of cyber-crooks who deliberately targeted laptops linked to some of the world's biggest pop stars before downloading personal data, including new tracks.

They then either uploaded the songs to the internet or tried selling them for thousands of Euros, according to investigators. Some of the famous victims - also believed to include Kelly Clarkson - are said to have rush-released their new album and headed out on tour early as a result of the leaks.

Officials in Mexico City are threatening to shut down Madonna's new fitness club because it lacks a security plan and a land use permit. The "Material Girl" hitmaker opened the doors of her first Hard Candy Fitness compound in Mexico City on Monday, November 29.

But studio bosses have failed to obtain all the required documents and have until Friday, December 3 to get a land use permit, or stop all operations, according to Demetrio Sodi, the chief of the Miguel Hidalgo municipality where the gym is located. Sodi told the Spanish-language TV station Televisa on Wednesday, "If they don't have a land use permit, they will not be able to operate."

Taylor Swift is serious about her romance with Jake Gyllenhaal - the country sweetheart bonded with his actress sister Maggie Gyllenhaal and her daughter Ramona while staying with her family in New York over the Thanksgiving holiday. Model-turned-reality TV star Katie Price has been banned from the roads in her native U.K. after she was caught breaking the speed limit in her car. Price was hit with the ban after cops registered her traveling at 83 miles (133 kilometers)-per-hour in a 70 mile (112 kilometer)-per-hour zone in West Sussex, south England in December 2009.

She has several previous driving offenses - including not being in proper control of a horse box on the roads - and was banned from driving for six months. She was also fined $1,500 and ordered to pay $150 in court costs.

His heavy competitor Nicki Minaj is forced to settle at the runner position. Her debut album "Pink Friday" sells around 375,000 units in its first week of release, making her the first femcee in more than a decade to pull that kind of impressive number since 1998 "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" (423,000).

"Kourtney and Kim Take New York" is a month away and producer Ryan Seacrest would like fans of the eccentric sisters to know that there will be guest appearances as well on the new reality series. The latest sneak peek reveals that Kanye West once stopped by the sisters' DASH boutique which at that time was still an empty lot.

"Mr. West is in the building," Kim Kardashian said after hugging the rapper. Kanye asked, "You supposed to open the store in two weeks?" after looking at the store's condition. However, it turned out that the sisters managed to open the boutique in time, inviting Kanye as well to the opening in early November.

Will Smith's pop star daughter Willow Smith and hip-hop hitmakers Far East Movement are among the newcomers nominated for the MTV Brand New: For 2011 award.

Justin Bieber was last year's winner of the prize, heralding his future as one of 2010's biggest stars. Former members of The Clash are re-teaming to make a movie about the creation of their hit album "London Calling". British punk stars Mick Jones and Paul Simonon will act as executive producers on the forthcoming film, which will tell the story of how the classic 1979 record came to be.

Jay-Z's popular sports bar franchise is taking flight - the rapper has scored a deal to open branches of his 40/40 Club in airports across the U.S. The hip-hop mogul is set to expand his business empire after striking a deal with bosses at Delaware North Companies, who operate hospitality services at dozens of American airports.

Jay-Z's business partner Desiree Perez says, "The 40/40 Club is all about creating first-class experiences for guests who want to relax and watch their favorite games. We want to see our club grow, and to bring those experiences to travelers. A partnership with Delaware North will do just that."

A spokesperson for studio boss Clint Culpepper has denied the media mogul split from longtime partner Steve Antin after hiring him to direct "Burlesque". Culpepper is president of Screen Gems, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures, and reportedly asked his boyfriend of 20 years to write and helm the movie musical, starring Christina Aguilera and Cher.

According to New York Post gossip column PageSix, the pair's relationship broke down following a series of bitter rows while shooting the film. After some speculations, Columbia Pictures finally announces via an official press release that Channing Tatum will indeed star in "21 Jump Street". The "G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra" hunk takes a lead role alongside Jonah Hill, who has previously confirmed his participation in the movie adaptation of the famous 1980s TV series.

"Jonah helped create a smart and funny vehicle that is tailor-made for him and Channing," said Doug Belgrad, president of Columbia Pictures, in a statement. "They are a perfect duo for this film and Phil and Chris have a terrific, accessible take on the material. We love how this movie has come together and are very excited to begin production this spring."

Anna Nicole Smith's ex-boyfriend Howard K. Stern is fighting his conviction on charges of conspiring to use a false name to supply drugs to the late model. Earlier this year, Stern was found guilty on two charges of conspiracy, for giving false names and acting by fraud to obtain prescriptions for the late Playboy star, who died in 2007.

His legal team has now filed a motion at a court in California calling for the charges to be overturned, claiming it is "common practice" to use false names on prescriptions for celebrities in Los Angeles "to protect privacy".

Halle Berry's ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry had a lucky escape on Tuesday, November 30 when he walked away unscathed after a car crash in Los Angeles. The model, who has a daughter with the Hollywood actress, was involved in an accident outside the city's The Grove shopping centre, which left his Mercedes with a smashed front.

It is unclear how the crash occurred. Aubry was photographed removing his belongings from the car before he was picked up by a pal, reports TMZ.com. Rumor has it Aubry called Berry after the crash and she was the one who sent her assistant top pick him up in a white Lexus.

"Glee" has the biggest chance to take home a trophy at the upcoming 15th Annual Satellite Awards for it has been nominated in 5 categories. The FOX series is taking nods in Actress and Actor in a Series, Supporting Actress and Actor in a Series as well as the coveted TV Series, Comedy.

As many as 12 television categories of 38 programs from 15 diverse networks were announced as this year's contenders. If "Glee" is the biggest nominee in the comedy field, it is "The Good Wife" which shows a domination in the drama field. The CBS series is also taking 5 nods followed by AMC's "Mad Men" and HBO's TV movie "Temple Grandin" with four.

Reese Witherspoon looked as happy as possible when she unveiled her Hollywood Walk of Fame honor on Wednesday, December 1 outside the W Hollywood Hotel. The honor given to her is the 2,425th star dedicated on the celebrated avenue of dreams.

Former Spice Girls star Geri Halliwell is reportedly planning to revive her solo career with a self-funded album. The singer forged a successful career away from the girl group after she left in 1998 but her last record, 2005's "Passion", limped into the U.K. charts at number 41.

Halliwell subsequently took time out of the music industry to look after her four-year-old daughter, Bluebell, but she's stepped back into the recording studio to work on a new release, according to Britain's The Sun. Rockers AC/DC, country star Keith Urban and actor Hugh Jackman have topped a list of 2010's highest-earning Australians. The band, whose drummer Phil Rudd has been fined after he was convicted of cannabis possession by a court in New Zealand, came second in the countdown of the country's highest earning entertainers with an annual income of $126 million, only losing out to the team behind the Walking with Dinosaurs live show, which has made big bucks on a global tour.

"X-Men" actor Jackman came in fourth with earnings of $20.7 million, followed by Urban in fifth with $19.2 million. Urban's wife Nicole Kidman was placed well behind her partner at number 10 ($9.2 million).

Stevie Wonder is helping TV newsman Larry King find the perfect Christmas gift for his wife - the legendary singer has offered to write a song for her. The "Superstition" hitmaker was a guest on "Larry King Live" on Tuesday night, November 30 and the host turned the conversation towards Wonder's music, revealing his partner Shawn Southwick is constantly singing Wonder's hit track "For Once in My Life".

And Wonder stunned King by offering to write a track just for his wife. He said, "Hey, so you want me to write your wife a song?" and King responded, "Yeah, I'd love you to." The singer added, "Are you serious?... OK, I'll do that. Seriously, I will do it."

Director Christopher Nolan is branching into the virtual world with a video game based on his sci-fi thriller "Inception". The filmmaker scored a hit at the box office this summer with "Inception", which starred Leonardo DiCaprio as a thief who steals information from the unconscious minds of sleeping targets.

Nolan admits he has always wanted to explore the gaming world and is now working with a team of collaborators to bring the project to life. He tells Entertainment Weekly, "I always imagined Inception to be a world where a lot of other stories could take place. At the moment, the only direction we're channeling that is by developing a video game set in the world."

International Press Academy has announced the nominees for the 15th Annual Satellite Awards on December 1. Leading the way to win big at the prize-giving event is "Inception" which snatches 11 nominations out of 23 categories, followed by "127 Hours" which takes 9 nods.

Both films are up for best drama prize, competing with "Blue Valentine", "The King's Speech", "The Social Network", "The Town" and "Winter's Bone" among others. The moneymaker flick from Christopher Nolan and the emotionally arousing film from Danny Boyle also lead their stars, Leonardo DiCaprio and James Franco, to score a nod for best drama actor. Meanwhile, Nolan and Boyle themselves will face against each other for best director prize.

Wesley Snipes must report to prison authorities in Pennsylvania by December 9 to begin his three-year sentence for tax evasion. The "Blade" star and his lawyers have spent two years fighting his 2008 conviction, which found him guilty of failing to file returns or pay tax on earnings of $38 million, dating back to 1999.

He lost his appeal and his battle for a retrial and last month was ordered to turn himself over to authorities to serve time. His attorney Daniel Meachum attempted to keep the actor out of jail by asking a judge in Florida for a bail extension to allow him to lodge another appeal against his conviction.

Coldplay have debuted a music video for their newly-released holiday song "Christmas Lights". This band perform the song on a small theater-inspired stage with red velvet curtains by the South Bank of River Thames in London. Fireworks are set off, and a group of people on a boat let go of colorful balloons. This Mat Whitecross-directed clip also features several Elvis Presley impersonators playing violins.

The song available for purchase on iTunes starting December 1 becomes Coldplay's first original holiday tune. This band previously recorded "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" for "Maybe This Christmas" compilation set in 2002.
