Pics: Sam Worthington Throws Money on Set of 'Man on a Ledge'

Sam Worthington has caused a rain of money on the street in New York City on Sunday, November 21. Though so, he was not doing it for charity since he was shooting a part for his film "Man on a Ledge". Standing on a ledge of the Roosevelt Hotel, the Aussie star threw some bucks in the air while filming the particular scene.

In the movie, Worthington portrays ex-cop and wanted fugitive Nick Cassidy threatening to jump to his death. Elizabeth Banks will portray a hard-living New York Police Department hostage negotiator who tries to talk Worthington down. But the longer they are on the ledge, the more she realizes that he might have an ulterior objective.

Osbourne admits she was tempted to have the operation to reduce the size of her stomach but insists she was too "terrified" to have a gastric band fitted. She tells British newsman Piers Morgan, "I got really fat, because I stopped doing drugs. I had just gotten out of rehab and I had been living in America again..."

"Pink Panther" star Sellers tried to woo Ekland by offering her drugs on their first outing, but she soon fell asleep. The Swedish star, who is taking part in U.K. reality show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!", recalled to her fellow contestants on the series, "He came to the front of the hotel and drove us to Leicester Square and we went to see a film called The Pink Panther, which he was in, and I was very impressed because we didn't have to pay for it. It was fantastically funny."

Capri Anderson has spoken publicly for the first time since the "Two and a Half Men" actor hit the headlines last month over reports he ransacked his suite during a night of passion with the adult actress.

Sheen maintains speculation about the incident has been blown out of proportion - but Anderson admits she was terrified of the star after he allegedly grabbed her by the neck. In a pre-recorded interview with ABC News, she says, "He was, from the beginning of the night, very loud and he had no hesitations when it came to using derogatory language or cuss words. But it wasn't until he put his hands around my neck that I really thought to myself, 'You have gotten yourself a bad, bad situation.' "

One shows the Queen Mother who asks Lionel Logue to help her husband to overcome his nervous stammer and the other two follow the King's training session with the speech therapist which is more like a casual conversation than public speaking practice.

Portraying Queen Elizabeth, Helena Bonham Carter recently told Coming Soon that "it's hard." She added, "You have a responsibility. Also to everybody else, because there's so many people who know her and have a perception of her, so you're sort of treading on semi-sacred ground, but having said that, everyone tends to remember the Queen Mother in her latter years. It never occurs to them that the Queen Mother had a youth."

Several residents have been forced to abandon their home, while others had to be rescued after becoming trapped by the floods. And Jolie has also offered to head fundraising appeals to help boost efforts to overcome the floods, reports Britain's The Daily Telegraph.

Optimum Releasing has dropped the first trailer for "Brighton Rock" via Guardian. It is set in the mods and rockers era of the 60s and follows Pinkie, a razor-wielding disadvantaged teenager who is hell bent on clawing his way up through the ranks of organized crime.

At the heart of the story is the anti-hero Pinkie's relationship with Rose, an apparently innocent young waitress who stumbles on evidence linking Pinkie and his gang to a revenge killing that Pinkie commits. The story is based on a novel with the same title by Graham Greene which had been made into a movie starring Richard Attenborough in 1947.

Miranda Kerr Supports Anti-Suicide Following Personal Tragedy

Mum-to-be Miranda Kerr has thrown her support behind a telephone helpline in a bid to prevent young suicides - after a similar tragedy in her own family last year. The model, who is expecting a baby with husband Orlando Bloom in 2011, was devastated when one of her relatives committed suicide in 2009.

And she's backing Australia's Too Many, Too Soon initiative, which aims to give advice over the phone to upset youngsters. Kerr explains, "The sadness of losing someone, especially in these circumstances, is something we live with and continually question how it could have been prevented."

Report: Teri Hatcher Leaving 'Desperate Housewives' for New Show

Teri Hatcher has quit her starring role on "Desperate Housewives", according to a U.K. report. The actress has played Susan Mayer in all seven series of the drama since it hit screens in the U.S. in 2004. But Hatcher has reportedly told executives at America's ABC network the next season will be her last, so she can work on a new show.

A source tells Britain's Mail on Sunday, "Teri has given in her notice and is making active preparations to move on. She has another production deal in the pipeline and she is in the early stages of developing a sitcom that she wants to start work on immediately after she finishes 'Desperate Housewives' - she wants a new show in time for the mid-January pilot season."

Wesley Snipes Remains Strong Ahead of Jail Sentence

Actor Wesley Snipes is remaining "strong and positive" ahead of his three-year jail sentence for tax evasion, according to his lawyer. The "Blade" star was found guilty of failing to file returns when he stood trial in 2008, but his lawyers appealed the verdict and he was freed on bail to challenge the ruling.

He lost the appeal in July and was due to surrender to authorities on September 2 - but U.S. District Court Judge Terrell Hodges granted him a postponement pending a retrial hearing this month. On Tuesday, November 16, Snipes' lawyer Daniel Meachum argued jurors in the 2008 trial had been biased against the star, amid allegations three members of the jury had made up their minds about the case before the court battle began.

Capri Anderson, a woman who was found with Charlie Sheen during his Plaza hotel meltdown and was identified as an escort, has now broken her silence. During a recent interview with ABC's "Nightline", Capri claimed that night ended with her locked in a hotel bathroom in fear for her life as Charlie lost control.

Capri started with telling ABC that Charlie hired her to escort him to dinner that night, in late October, but it later turned sour. "He was, from the beginning of the night, very loud and he had no hesitations when it came to using derogatory language or cuss words," Capri said in the interview which will be aired on Monday, November 22 at 11:35 P.M. ET.

Clinic Treating Amy Winehouse and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers Is Fined

Bosses at a U.K. rehab centre attended by Amy Winehouse and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers have been fined $57,000 for treating patients without obtaining a proper license. District Judge Cooper criticized the owners of the Causeway Retreat for being "scandalously negligent, if not downright misleading and fraudulent" in a ruling at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court, England on Friday, November 19.

Managers of the private hospital on Osea Island in Essex, England pleaded guilty to two charges of carrying on a medical service that was unregistered with the Care Quality Commission. The judge ordered them to pay $12,000 in fines and $45,000 in costs.

British stars Take That and Cheryl Cole helped raise more than $27 million for charity as part of the annual Children in Need fundraiser on Friday, November 19 The seven-hour U.K. TV appeal saw a host of stars including Take That, Susan Boyle, Kylie Minogue and Sir Tom Jones put in appearances to urge viewers to make donations.

More than $27 million was raised by the end of the evening - but organizers are hoping to beat last year's total of $58.5 million once all the donations are counted. David Ramsden, chief executive of Children in Need, says, "In these tough times the millions raised... will make a real difference to thousands of young lives right across the U.K. On behalf of the children I would like to thank everyone for their incredible generosity."

Paris Hilton has been busy painting and cleaning the streets of Hollywood as part of her community service sentence. The socialite has been ordered to volunteer 200 hours of her time as part of a plea deal stemming from her drug arrest in August this year.

She was charged with felony drug possession after cops saw a small bag of cocaine fall out of her purse during a Las Vegas trip. Hilton attracted a swarm of paparazzi as she joined a group called the Hollywood Beautification Team on Friday, November 19 to paint over graffiti marks on buildings in the downtown area.

A Hollywood studio where hit show "Dancing with the Stars" is filmed was evacuated on Friday night, November 19 when staff found a strange white powder in fanmail. Reports suggest the substance turned out to be nothing but talcum powder, but it was enough to send producers and studio executives into a panic.

A source tells TMZ.com fire crews and FBI Hazardous Materials officials were called to CBS Television City in the heart of West Hollywood after the mysterious package was found and "measures were taken to secure the area and ensure the safety of personnel". Officials have launched an investigation into the incident.

Sean Connery Ordered to Pay $76.5 Million Bond to Spanish Court

Sir Sean Connery has been ordered by a Spanish judge to contribute to a $76.5 million bond as part of an ongoing money-laundering and property fraud investigation. Warner Bros. Pictures once again has had their glorious moment at North American Box Office with beloved franchise "Harry Potter". The latest film of the series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I", debuts atop the chart with $125 million.

The number marks the franchise best bow, surpassing the previous record holder "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" which raked in $102.7 million on its opening weekend in 2005. "Deathly Hallows: Part I" is also the sixth highest opening weekend ever following "The Dark Knight", "Spider-Man 3", "The Twilight Saga's New Moon", "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" and "Iron Man 2".
