Black Eyed Peas have been tapped to make a live performance at the Super Bowl XLV halftime show in February next year, according to the Dallas Morning News. The Hip-Hop group reportedly will play the show at the brand new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Coincidentally, Black Eyed Peas are having a new album "The Beginning" coming out across the country on November 30. A few months that follow the release will be filled with promotional effort for the album, and performing at the Super Bowl will serve them quite well.

Christina Aguilera might not reach 30 until December 18 but the "Ain't No Other Man" hitmaker has gotten her early birthday present. Paying a visit to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", the newly-single singer was presented by host Ellen DeGeneres with a giant cake which had a shirtless male burlesque dancer inside it.

During her visit to the TV show, which will be aired on Friday, November 19, Aguilera shared about how she handles her recent split from music marketing executive husband Jordan Bratman. "My focus first and foremost is my son Max," Aguilera told Ellen.

Michaela McManus is curly and sexy on "The Vampire Diaries". As previously reported the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" regular is moonlighting on The CW series as a friend of Mason Lockwood named Jules. The first look of her in the character has been released via Movie Line.

Following her breakthrough performance both on stage and on chart with her debut album "The Fame", Lady GaGa is going to outdo herself in her second studio installment "Born This Way". Akon, one of the people contributing to the upcoming effort, said, "She's very creative. She will always find a way, always."

"I think these are just appetizers as to what's to come, because what's to come, if you haven't been following her up to this point, you're going to get completely lost," he said more to MTV. "Like, she is amazing when it comes to just taking things to the next level, [and] from what I've heard so far, I think she's going to be all right."

Just days after "Kush" was leaked, Dr. Dre was pictured on the downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 17 to shoot its music video. Snoop Dogg who lends his vocal on the track was seen on the set as well. Both of them looked causal with Dre in his white long-sleeved T-shirt and denims, and Snoop in his basketball T-shirt, jacket and a yellow "Sakana-kun" hat. The other featured guest, Akon, was nowhere to be seen though.

Although eager to promote the song, Dre actually was anxious with nowadays' music leaks. "It's a little bit unfortunate with the technology today. (Kush) got leaked and it was a version of it that I really wasn't happy about, (but) we're going to go ahead and push it and put it out because everybody seems to like it. I just thought the content, it's about weed smoking, and I don't want people to think that that's what my album is about. This is actually the only song with that type of content," he said in a radio interview.

The New York City apartment where Heath Ledger died from an accidental overdose is back on the market. Ledger was renting the downtown Manhattan apartment for $23,000 a month at the time of his death in January 2008.

Prison life is getting to rapper T.I. - and he still has another 11 months to serve. The hip-hop star, real name Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., surrendered to authorities in Arkansas at the beginning of the month and is currently serving a year behind bars for violating his parole on illegal weapons charges.

And T.I. is struggling with his latest loss of freedom - as he reveals in a letter to fans on his website. The statement reads, "I don' t know what effect this will have on my life moving forward but I'm certainly sick and mother f**king tired of going to jail, juve, prison, the pen, correctional facilities or whatever else you want to call it."

A judge has praised Chris Brown for his probation progress - telling the R&B star "no on has ever done a better job" in working hard to clean up their act. The "Kiss Kiss" hitmaker was left disgraced after pleading guilty to assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. He was handed five years probation and ordered to take a series of domestic violence classes and six-months of community service.

And, in a probation report hearing on Thursday, November 18, the presiding judge congratulated Brown for sticking to the terms of his sentence. The lawmaker told him, "No one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's relationship is still okay off screen, but she will not keep him too long in her movie. Following news that he is cast for a cameo role in Jolie's directorial debut, a follow-up report from Moviefone says his character of a soldier will be shot to death in the film.

As reported before, Pitt is featured trying to escape a military facility through a curtain of sniper fire in the movie. It was said he filmed the scene on Saturday, November 13 with a second-unit crew in an abandoned military facility near the town of Kiskunlachaza, Hungary.

Bruno Mars' "Grenade" music video has just arrived in full via MTV. He works hard all the way to win the heart of his love interest, dragging a heavy piano through the streets of Los Angeles only to find her in the arms of another man. Instead of throwing rants, he quietly drags the piano back with him and ends up alone and frustrated in a railway. As the light flashes and the horn sends loud voice, a train is speeding into his direction before everything turns into black.

"The song is about loving someone so deeply, and the pain of knowing that the person you love does not feel the same," he said. "The actions in this video serve as a metaphor, and should not be taken literally. I am aware of the power of visual media, and I encourage everyone who watches this video to understand that it is an artistic interpretation of the song, and not something to imitate."

Eva Longoria is not letting her personal problem gets in the way of her professional career. Just a day after filing for divorce from Tony Parker, Longoria is back on "Desperate Housewives" set in Los Angeles to film an undisclosed episode.

There's no clue how awkward is the reception on the set. E! Online dug out some comments from the cast and crew who admitted that "everyone on set was caught off guard" about the divorce. "Except for [Longoria's] few close friends on the show, no one knew Eva and Tony were going to divorce," said a "DH" source.

Metallica have issued a statement in a bid to get to the truth of a story suggesting a little girl was kicked into the audience at a recent concert in Australia. The youngster, who is the daughter of the band's stage manager, took a tumble after guitarist Kirk Hammett accidentally kicked a beachball at her and knocked her off balance.

The rockers have confirmed the incident happened but the bandmates insist reports of the girl being kicked into the audience are ridiculous. A statement from Metallica reads, "In the whacky (sic) world of rock'n'roll, sometimes stuff happens which looks even weirder than it really is! And with context being vital in these situations, we just wanted to address something which happened on the tour the other night regarding a large beachball, a band member's foot and a little girl."

Liam Gallagher has joined the celebrities fighting to keep fabled London venue The 100 Club alive and he is considering launching his new band Beady Eye there. The former Oasis frontman has sent a handwritten note to the organizers of a new campaign to raise vital funds for the club, which has staged landmark gigs featuring The Kinks, Sex Pistols and The Rolling Stones.

Gallagher performed at the venue in 1994 with Oasis and admits he has been thinking about performing there again with his new band. He writes, "It's a real shame. Fancied playing there again with the mighty Beady Eye."

Quirky movie star Sean Young had the presenters and crew of news show "Access Hollywood" scratching their heads on Thursday morning, November 18 when she showed up for an interview with her pet bunny.

"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe is taking dance lessons to make sure he doesn't "screw up" onstage in the musical "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on Broadway. The young Brit was reminded just how awful his dancing is when he had to shuffle around to a Nick Cave tune with co-star Emma Watson in the new "Potter" film, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I", and he's determined to look like a professional by the time he takes his Broadway bow in 2011.

He tells WENN, "Emma is actually quite a good dancer, so it was for me to muddle through. I'm a c**p dancer but next year on Broadway for 'How to Succeed in Business' I hope to see a large improvement... Dancing is something I've never done before. I'm taking lessons. Generally speaking, I've been doing about nine hours a week of training, so if I screw up it's not for lack of trying. We start rehearsals in January, previewing in February and we open in March."

Films about quirky British artist Banksy and disgraced former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer have been named among the 15 documentaries shortlisted for Oscar consideration. "Banksy's "Exit Through the Gift Shop" and "Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer" will compete with "Gasland", "The Lottery", "Enemies of The People" and "Genius Within: The Inner Life of Glenn Gould", among others, for an Academy Awards nomination in January 2011.

The Best Documentary Feature Oscar will be presented at the 83rd Academy Awards on February 27, 2011.

Actress Marissa Jaret Winokur has begun the surrogacy process to become a mother for the second time. The star, who appeared in hit Broadway musical "Hairspray", welcomed son Zev in 2008 via surrogate after beating cervical cancer.

Winokur and her husband Judah Miller are keen to give Zev a little brother or sister and have already met with experts to help expand their family.

A man accused of stalking Audrina Patridge has been sentenced to two years behind bars and ordered to stay away from "The Hills" star for the next decade. Zachary Loring was arrested outside Patridge's Los Angeles home earlier this year and pleaded no contest to a stalking charge in June.

He was found to be competent for state prison after undergoing a 90-day psychiatric evaluation and was sentenced in court on Thursday, November 18. Loring was also banned from approaching Patridge and her family for the next 10 years, reports TMZ.

Another featurette is coming out for "I Am Number Four" which will be premiered in the U.S. on February 18, 2011. Unlike the first featurette which mixes interviews with scenes from the trailer, the new one has a lot of fresh footage.

Among the new scenes are the ones which see Dianna Agron's Sarah and Alex Pettyfer's John Smith having a date at what looks like an amusement park and sharing kisses. Additionally, the featurette includes some footage with Timothy Olyphant's Henri who is sent to Earth to protect John aka Number Four.

The follow-up to Grammy-winning album "I Am...Sasha Fierce" might become Beyonce Knowles' most ambitious effort yet. After successfully launching Sasha Fierce as her alter ego, now the "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" hitmaker attempts to create her own genre of music.

"I love to dance, I love to sing, and I'm actually in the studio now writing songs and producing, and I have a lot of live instruments that I'm putting into the tracks to try to change the sound and make my own genre of music," Beyonce told Entertainment Tonight on the set of her Vizio commercial.

Derek and Meredith are doing intervention before Cristina and Owen's condition gets worse. Next week on "Grey's Anatomy", despite Meredith's objections to the idea, a concerned Derek takes Cristina on a fishing trip in order to get away from it all. Meredith chooses to confront Owen of not having a plan.

Meanwhile, Teddy, feeling directionless without Cristina, directs all of her efforts and compassion towards a dying patient (played by Scott Foley) who lacks the proper insurance to seek medical treatment. According to TV Guide, Foley's character is broke and about to pop the question to his girlfriend. After multiple surgeries, he's financially strapped, prompting Teddy to take the case pro bono.

Star of MTV's "Teen Mom", Amber Portwood, is getting consequences for assaulting ex-fiance and father of her daughter, Gary Shirley. On Thursday, November 18, Portwood has been officially charged with two felony counts and one misdemeanor for domestic violence and battery, Daily Mail reported.

Under Indiana law, Portwood is charged with the felonies because the violent actions, which appeared in the reality TV series, were committed in the presence of a child, in this case, their little daughter Leah Leann Shirley. If convicted, Portwood will face up to three years in jail and fines of up to $10,000.

Veteran rapper Flavor Flav has become the latest hip-hop star to enter the alcohol industry - he's launching a range of flavored vodkas. The Public Enemy star has been working on Le Flav Spirits and is aiming to have the liquors on the market early 2011.

He says, "I want you all to keep on the look out. It should be on the shelves by January... I'm coming out with a cherry vodka, a berry vodka, an olive vodka, a sweet tea vodka, a bubblegum vodka and a grape vodka."

Singer/actress Christina Aguilera was so desperate to lands a role alongside her idol Cher in new movie "Burlesque" she instructed movie bosses to "stalk" the pop icon until she agreed to sign up for the film. The "Genie in a Bottle" hitmaker knew Cher would be perfect in the role of Tess and ordered producers to stop at nothing to snag her.

She says, "I was the first one to sign up to the movie and I knew when her name was brought up in conversations to play Tess, I was like, 'Go after her, stalk her, sleep under her doorstep at night, she needs to be in this movie starring opposite me'. "Harry Potter" villain Tom Felton is heading for another major movie franchise after confirming he's signed on for the "Planet of the Apes" prequel. But the Brit won't be aping it up on screen in "Caesar: Rise of the Apes" - he'll play a human in the film.

He tells WENN, "It's called 'Rise of the Apes' and it is a fantastic story and explanation of how the apes from 'Planet of the Apes' came to power. It's definitely one of the best scripts I've ever read. The first question my friends asked was, 'Are you playing a human?' and when I said yes they were quite disappointed - because they wanted to see me as a monkey."

Comedian Dane Cook is preparing to make his Broadway debut next year in an upcoming production of Neil Labute's "Fat Pig". Ashton Kutcher had been in talks to lead the project in 2009, but negotiations reportedly fell through and now Cook will tread the boards as a bachelor who falls in love with a plus-size girl.

Actor Josh Hamilton has signed on as Cook's co-star, while other roles have yet to be cast. The comedy was last staged off-Broadway in 2004 and enjoyed a successful run in London's West End in 2009.

Property mogul-turned-reality TV star Donald Trump is seriously considering running for U.S. president in 2012, because he wants to show the world America is not a country "led by fools". The businessman admits there is some truth to rumors of his political aspirations and he's mulling over the idea of entering the race for the White House when current leader Barack Obama's first term in office is up in two years' time.

In an interview on U.S. TV's "Good Morning America", he says, "I am thinking about things. I'm looking at this country and what's happened in terms of respect. And the respect for this country is just not there. I have many people from China that I do business with; they laugh at us. They feel we're fools, and almost being led by fools. Silent movie era child star Marie Osborne Yeats has died just six days after celebrating her 99th birthday. The actress and Hollywood costume supervisor, nicknamed Baby Marie Osborne, became the youngest leading lady in Tinseltown when she starred in films like "Little Mary Sunshine".

Yeats died at her home in San Clemente, California on November 11. She played a boy in her first film when director Henry King needed a kid for his 1915 movie "The Maid of The Wind". He discovered her at the age of three.

Mel Gibson's lawyers have launched a bid to strip the star's ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva of her custody rights regarding their child, insisting she is not acting in the best interests of the child. The former couple has been battling over little Lucia since splitting earlier this year and Grigorieva spoke candidly about claims she was beaten by the actor on news show "Larry King Live", which aired in the U.S. on Wednesday night, November 17.

The Russian singer opened up about the allegedly abusive relationship, claiming she feared for her life when her ex reportedly struck her during a heated argument in January. Gibson's legal advisors have pounced on the interview and are preparing to argue that her false and derogatory public comments about the actor suggest she's only interested in damaging his reputation, reports TMZ.com.

Taio Cruz and Kylie Minogue got each other's company in a music video for their duet track "Higher". Wearing similar black ensemble, the U.K. R&B crooner and the Aussie dance/pop singer are driving in their car before going face-to-face.

"Higher" appears in the international version of Cruz's second studio album "Rokstarr" which has been on sale since October this year. The U.S. version of the single is leaning more to Hip-Hop since Travis McCoy has been hired to replace Minogue.

"American Idol" runner-up Crystal Bowersox has received her first acting job, accepting a guest starring slot on ABC's "Body of Proof". " 'Body of Proof' contacted me. As the actor has been bulking up and the helmer has been hired, "The Wolverine" is ready to go into production. Fox Filmed Entertainment has confirmed that the second "Wolverine" movie, which has Darren Aronofsky on board as the director, will kick off principal photography in April 2011.

The new scoop for "The Wolverine" is revealed through a press release made by the studio to announce that Aronofsky's production company Protozoa Film has signed a two-year, overall deal with Fox. Under the deal, Protozoa will develop and produce films for both Twentieth Century Fox and Fox Searchlight Pictures.

Rapper Common is set to lift the lid on his childhood and his rise to fame in a new autobiography. The hip-hop star has signed a deal to write a book about his life, which will explore his early days in his native Chicago, Illinois as well as his stellar music career.

"One Day It'll Make Sense" will be co-written by Adam Bradley and is set for release in June 2011 under Atria Books. Bradley has written books like "Book of Rhymes: The Poetics of Hip Hop", "The Anthology of Rap" and a book on Ralph Ellison titled "In Progress". Title to Common's book is the same to the title of his new album.

After appearing on TV via music videos which he prepared to keep him visible during his jail time, now Lil Wayne is going to appear in person, performing live with fellow rapper Eminem. The lucky network which will get his first visit since he came out of prison is NBC. They have tapped him for "Saturday Night Live".

In his music career, this actually will be Weezy's second performance on "Saturday Night Live". The Young Money rap mogul took the stage of "SNL" for the first time on the 2008 season premiere of the TV show. As for the Slim Shady, this will be his "SNL" first-time gig.

Kings of Leon are reportedly searching for fans with "physical abnormalities" to star in their latest promo. The "Sex on Fire" hitmakers are due to film a new video at a bar in the U.S. region of New England on Friday, November 19 and they allegedly posted a message on an internet advertising site, looking to recruit followers to appear in the film.

Canadian TV network Aux reports the ad, which has since been removed, requested "characters with scars, pockmarked skin, physical abnormalities or deformities". Kings of Leon were offering $300 a day to any fan willing to take part in the shoot, thought to be for their new single, "Pyro".

Miley Cyrus has no plans for a big celebration to mark her upcoming 18th birthday - she just wants to spend the day "hanging out" with her friends and family. R&B singer Bruno Mars' court date to face a felony charge of drug possession has been postponed. The "Just the Way You Are" star was arrested in Las Vegas in September after a bathroom attendant at the Hard Rock Hotel allegedly caught him with a bag of white powder, which tested positive for cocaine.

Mars, real name Peter Hernandez, was due to appear in a Sin City courtroom on Thursday, November 18, but he now won't have to appear in person until a later date, according to his lawyer, David Chesnoff. The attorney tells the Associated Press the songwriter's court date will be rescheduled.

Daniel Radcliffe faced an embarrassing red carpet showdown with his "Harry Potter" co-star Emma Watson after he gave away details of their kissing scene - the actress scolded him at the latest film's London premiere.

Boxer Manny Pacquiao is facing a $10 million lawsuit over allegations he signed a recording contract but failed to deliver any songs. The Filipino sportsman is said to have agreed a deal with bosses at RBM Group International in 2009 to record 12 tracks.

Executives at the music company allege they handed the star a $40,000 payment for the first two songs, but Pacquiao has yet to produce any recordings. RBM bosses filed suit at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday, November 17 claiming the boxer broke his promise and left them $200,000 out of pocket. Record label boss Antonio 'L.A.' Reid has hailed British hip-hop act N-Dubz as the "new era of the Black Eyed Peas", according to rapper Dappy. The trio is preparing to break America with its new album "Best Behavior" after signing a deal with Reid's U.S. label Def Jam.

And the music executive is reportedly so impressed with N-Dubz stars Tulisa, Dappy and Fazer, he's adamant they will be bigger than the "I Gotta Feeling" hitmakers. Dappy tells Britain's The Sun, "L.A. Reid sat me and Tulisa down. We sold him what we do by performing for him and he said it was like watching a ping-pong game. He was like, 'I get it, I get it. You guys don't need to change s**t - you've got it.' "

Punk legend Patti Smith was on the verge of tears as she accepted a major literary honor for her memoir at the U.S. National Book Awards in New York City on Wednesday, November 17. The veteran singer won the coveted nonfiction prize for Just Kids, a book about her youth in New York which chronicles her relationship with late photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.

Smith became emotional as she took to the stage to collect the trophy and she used her speech to urge publishers not to "abandon" traditional books in favor of electronic readers. She said, "There is nothing more beautiful than the book, the paper, the font, the cloth. Please, no matter how we advance technologically, please never abandon the book."

Katy Perry has congratulated pregnant singer Pink after she announced her baby news earlier this week. The "So What" hitmaker revealed she is expecting her first child with husband Carey Hart during an interview with U.S. talk show host Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday, November 17.

Pink also told her friends and fans about the pregnancy in a post on Twitter.com, writing, "My wish for this pregnancy, besides a healthy happy baby, is for the paparazzi to leave us alone and let me gain my weight in peace."

Russell Brand no longer lands a trouble with the law for attacking paparazzi at Los Angeles International Airport back on September 17. Following a meeting with the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, the "Get Him to the Greek" actor was cleared from any charges for the spat, Radar Online reported.

Brand and his attorney Shepard Kopp met with the officials on Wednesday, November 17. Spokesperson for the office, Frank Mateljian, shared, "Mr. Brand came in with his attorney, and met with our officials. No further action is going to be taken in the matter." Mateljian further revealed that the assaulted snapper wasn't at the Wednesday meeting but he is due to meet a prosecutor on Friday.

Starz has begun the second wave of its campaign for "Spartacus: Gods of the Arena" which is coming January 21, 2011. Around four months after the first teaser was released, the cable drops another one which gives an actual footage of the first champion of Capua. At the same time, the first artwork displays the remarkably in-shape gladiator.

"Gods of Arena", the prequel to "Spartacus: Blood and Sand", is starring Dustin Clare who like Andy Whitfield was little known actor before going on board "Spartacus". Clare plays the original Champion of the House of Batiatus: Gannicus who lived in a more ruthless time before Spartacus' arrival where honor was just finding its way into the arena.

Rihanna has explained why her blossoming romance with Drake fizzled out, insisting she was too "fragile" to commit to another relationship following her split from Chris Brown. The "Umbrella" hitmaker parted ways with the R&B singer in early 2009 after he beat her in a vicious domestic dispute, which left him with an assault conviction. They briefly reconciled after the fight, but later split for good.

Columbia Pictures has dropped the first clip for "The Tourist" which puts Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp on the leads. Making its way out via MySpace, the video highlights the first meeting of their characters in a train during when Jolie's Elise goes straight to a chair in front of Depp's Frank and introduces herself to the man.

Elise is a female Interpol agent who is in a mission to locate a criminal with whom she once had an affair. Frank, in the meantime, is an American tourist who is having a vacation in Italy to mend a broken heart.

Randy Jackson has blasted Sony Music chiefs over an upcoming posthumous album from his brother Michael Jackson - because he's convinced his late sibling's voice is faked on the record. The star admits he felt "sick" when he discovered label bosses had signed a $250 million deal with executors of the tragic singer's estate to release 10 music albums.

Randy reveals he became "suspicious" of the project when executor John McClain banned the "Thriller" legend's family from being in the studio while the tracks were completed. And he's adamant it isn't his brother's voice "on some of the tracks" featured on upcoming release "Michael", which is set to hit stores next month.

Tiger Woods blames golf for his marriage woes, insisting the game made him so "self-centred" he thought he could "tackle the world". The sports ace split from his wife Elin Nordegren last year after his numerous affairs became public, and their divorce was finalized in August.

Bosses at MTV are facing possible legal action from a writer who claims network executives copied his idea for hit reality show "Jersey Shore". Christopher Gambale wrote an outline for a show, entitled "Guidos: A Reality Series", in 2006 and registered the idea with the Writer's Guild of America.

Gambale's show, which he later allegedly pitched to MTV, focused on a "sad, pathetic excuse for a male... usually native to the New York/New Jersey tristate area" who enjoys "nightclubbing", according to the New York Daily News.

George Clooney was honored for his charity work at a glitzy gala in New York City on Wednesday night, November 17. The Hollywood actor attended the Ripple of Hope Awards at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan, where he was celebrated for his philanthropic efforts.

Clooney took to the stage to pick up a trophy at the ceremony, which is held by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights, as his proud father, Nick, and girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis watched from the audience.

The search for the new Superman has begun. Deadline Hollywood reports that Warner Bros, producer Chris Nolan and director Zack Snyder have started looking a "wide-net" to find their leading man for "The Man of Steel" and they want to create a new star with the reboot project.

To be more specific, the studio reportedly will cast an actor who is either "a discovery or on TV but likely someone who isn't well known yet." On the age range, the possible candidates should be between 28 and 32.

Briefly after his split report from wife of three years Eva Longoria made headline, NBA basketball star Tony Parker released a statement concerning Eva's divorce filing. In the statement to People, Tony said, "Eva and I have been discussing our situation privately. I was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles."

Tony further denied report that he's the one who went to court first. "I did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California," the 28-year-old star says. "We plan to continue to keep our discussions of this matter private." Tony, however, didn't address rumor about his fling with Erin Barry, the wife of his teammate Brent Barry, in the statement.

"Un Ano Sin Lluvia", a Spanish version of Selena Gomez's single "A Year Without Rain", has got an accompanying music video. It still features same scenes from previous clip for the English version about a girl who is longing for the guy she loves. The only new footage is the one which features her singing the Spanish lyrics.

The new scene seeing her dressing in a Catherine Dean gray chiffon halter gown was filmed earlier this month. "So weird to be back in this dress..... Spanish version," she tweeted. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" star has put the outfit on charity auction which reportedly ran until November 10.

"American Idol" may be more lenient in the age admittance but it is not taking it lightly the actual competition. Returning executive producer Nigel Lythgoe said there would be no more Top 24 stage. Instead, the contestants would be instantly whittled down to Top 12.

"I didn't think [the top 24] were very good," Lythgoe told TV Guide of previous seasons. "I was bored with them by the time they got there." Details are still sketchy as to whether these Top 12 would be selected by the judges or by voting. Lythgoe and FOX also did not explain what would fill in the voting episodes which are now altered.
