Meanwhile, Christian trio Point of Grace landed the Entertainer of the Year prize, singer Tommy Brandt took the top male vocalist trophy for the second consecutive year and Mary James picked up Female Vocalist of the Year.

Despite her grueling schedule over her music and movie career, not to mention her clothing line, Selena Gomez still spent her time to help others. The 18-year-old beauty, who is dubbed UNICEF ambassador, auctioned off one of her special dresses.

Hoping to raise money for the organization to help providing food and healthcare to disadvantaged children across the globe, Selena put her glamorous Catherine Dean gown that she wore in her "A Year Without Rain" music video under the hammer.

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole has opened up about her split from her ex-husband in a tearful TV interview, insisting she will "always love" soccer star Ashley Cole. The British singer's four-year marriage to the sportsman was officially ended last month following allegations of his infidelity.

Cole has now spoken candidly about their divorce in a special U.K. interview, which saw her break down in tears as she discussed her heartache. The star admits she still speaks to Cole on a regular basis and is still struggling to come to terms with the breakdown of their marriage.

Take That are featured in complete line-up in a music video for "The Flood", a lead single from their new album "Progress" which is due November 30 in the United States. Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams wear Oxford and Cambridge-style rowing outfit.

Together, the boys get into five-seater rowing boat and compete in a race against another team. They lose the game, but they continue rowing until reaching the ocean instead of stopping at the finish line. "They were told to paddle like the professionals," a source told the Sun. "I think they found it quite hard. If you haven't done it before, sculling can be pretty difficult."

The Emmy Award-winning series "Wizards of Waverly Place" will return for a brand new season on Friday, November 12, Disney Channel announced. Coming as guest stars in multi-episode arc are Bailee Madison who joins as an "adorable" wizard named Maxine and Gregg Sulkin who reprises his role as Alex's love interest, werewolf Mason.

In the new wizardly twists and turns, everything is not what it seems, as Alex is tricked into announcing to the world that she and her brothers are wizards, and a duplicating spell goes haywire, changing Max's life forever.

New racy image of Miley Cyrus's ex-boyfriend Justin Gaston for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) campaign has been revealed. For the ad, Justin poses nude along with his "If I Can Dream" cast-mates, actor Benjamin Elliott and model Giglianne Braga, who both also go naked.

In the PETA image, Justin is seen sitting on the floor with his hands holding Giglianne's right leg and his head covering the beauty's private part. Meanwhile, Benjamin stands behind Giglianne while covering the model's boobs with his hand.

Josh Holloway has joined the production of "Mission: Impossible IV" in Prague, Czech Republic. On Thursday, October 14, the actor was spotted filming his scenes on the streets of the city, wearing a black ensemble added with a red scarf. Also snapped during the shooting that day was Lea Seydoux.

Holloway is cast in the fourth "Mission: Impossible" film as a member of the Impossible Mission Force, the secret agent task force headed by Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt. Jeremy Renner is also added to the cast ensemble of the action movie, taking a role of Hunt's sidekick. Meanwhile, Paula Patton will be portraying the female lead.

Lady GaGa paid a special tribute to her beloved grandfather, who died last month, during a concert in Finland on Wednesday, October 13. The "Poker Face" hitmaker was devastated when Joseph 'Giuseppe' Germanotta passed away at the age of 88, just two days after she visited him at his New Jersey nursing home.

GaGa halted her gig in Helsinki on Wednesday to honor her grandfather, dedicating her ballad "Speechless" to him. She told the crowd, "My dad made me promise that tonight I would dedicate this song to my sweet, sweet grandpa who is in heaven."

British actress Carey Mulligan wants a tattoo of a seagull on her right wrist - to remind her of the Broadway play she starred in three years ago. The "An Education" star played Nina in Ian Rickson's New York production of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull" in 2007 - and she wants a permanent reminder of her time on stage.

Mulligan has asked her friend, illustrator Zoe More O'Ferrall, to create the ink design for her. But the actress was too embarrassed to go under the needle in London's trendy Soho district and has opted to book an appointment at a parlor in upmarket department store Selfridges instead.

British actor Danny Dyer has opened up about his drug use, insisting he "probably always will" take narcotics. The "Business" star was shamed last year when shocking images of him purportedly snorting a line of white powder on a night out with friends was published in British tabloid The Sun.

Father-of-two Dyer has previously admitted taking drugs in the past, and now he has detailed his habit in new autobiography "Danny Dyer: Straight Up". Vince Vaughn has spoken out after the promotional trailer for his new comedy "The Dilemma" was criticized over the use of the word "gay". Ashley Greene is more than just a face on "Twilight" series. The 23-year-old is announced as the host of a CW special called "Fashion forward: Making It" which is a behind-the-scenes look at the new faces and forces in the fashion world.

Singer Michael Bolton has become a first-time grandfather. The Grammy Award winner's daughter Taryn, 31, has given birth to a daughter. A thrilled Bolton, 56, tells People.com, "A profound and indescribable joy has been delivered to my heart and to our entire family."

This is the first grandchild for Bolton, 56, who has three daughters from a previous marriage. And he admits he's still getting used to the idea of being called 'Grandpa'. "It's so weird," he shares. "I'm going to have to figure out how to own that."

After only two days from announcing her separation from husband of five years, music executive Jordan Bratman, Christina Aguilera has made up her mind. The "Bionic" singer filed for divorce in the Superior Court of California on Thursday, October 14, TMZ reported.

In the divorce papers obtained by the site, Aguilera cited "irreconcilable differences". The divorce petition also revealed that there is pre-nuptial agreement when the singer and Bratman wed in 2005. The divorce petition asks that "earnings and accumulations of (Aguilera) before marriage, during marriage and from and after the date of separation" to be considered separate property.

Rap superstar T.I. has vowed to turn his life around and leave his troubled ways behind him for good to win back the trust of the friends, colleagues and fans he let down with his drug arrest last month. The hip-hop hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., is facing between eight and 14 months behind bars if an Atlanta, Georgia judge decides to revoke his probation after he was booked for felony possession of a controlled substance in September.

T.I. was already on probation for gun charges stemming from 2007 and he completed a prison sentence for those counts last December 2009. He will appear before a judge on Friday, October 15 but T.I. insists he will not be returning to court once the drug charge is cleared up - because he's too "tired" and too old to continue running from his responsibilities.

Vanessa Hudgens is about to take "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island". The 21-year-old actress is currently in final negotiations to play the female lead in this follow-up to "Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D", The Hollywood Reporter (THR) has just reported.

The sequel has tapped Josh Hutcherson to reprise his role as Sean who this time will force his mother's boyfriend, portrayed by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, to join him on a trip to a mythical and monstrous island to find his missing grandfather. According to THR, Hudgens will portray a Pacific Islander who gets swept into the adventure and end up falling for Sean.

Michael Caine is set to turn novelist when he completes the next "Batman" film - because he's sick of lawyers telling him what he can and can't write about in his memoirs. The movie star has just released his second autobiography, The Elephant to Hollywood, and he's telling fans his next book will be a work of fiction.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "I love writing so much that once I'm finished with Batman, I'm going to write fiction. When I was writing my first book, I talked with Kirk Douglas, who had written one of his own. I told him that the lawyers were always saying, 'You can't say that or you'll get sued'. He said to me, 'Write fiction, Michael. You can tell the truth.' Isn't that a great line?"

"Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire" star Gabourey Sidibe freaked out on a recent trip to Amsterdam when she found herself accidentally sucking a pot lollipop. The actress insists she went to the Dutch city to check out its famous red-light district and visit museums - and not to hang-out in cafes where marijuana use is legal, but discovered hash is everywhere in Amsterdam.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy paid tribute to Robert Redford on Thursday, October 14 when he presented the movie icon with the nation's highest cultural honor. The "Indecent Proposal" star was bestowed with the prestigious Legion of Honor title in Paris for his movie achievements and his work to protect the environment.

Redford was made a knight as Sarkozy handed him a red-ribboned medal at the small ceremony, telling him, "I know 65 million French people who would like to be in my shoes right now... You are the incarnation of the United States and all that that country represents. Those who love cinema long remember... (your) films, which we watch and re-watch with the same emotion each time."

"The Incredible Hulk" is not strictly for wide-screen version, but for TV series as well. ABC is reportedly in "very early stages of development" of a live-action series adaptation of the popular Marvel comic book about a physicist who turns this green monster when his emotion is triggered.

Since the project is young, there is no writer yet for the pilot but the network is looking for one. The pickup comes on the heels of the TV right bought by ABC's parent company Disney. It is part of a push from Marvel to enter the TV realm which was kicked off with the launching of Marvel TV in June. The network's head Jeph Loeb reportedly had put the "Hulk" adaptation as one of his top priorities.

Ageing 'it girl' Betty White has landed a cameo role in the new "Men in Black" movie. Website BloodyDisgusting has confirmed the former "Golden Girls" star has signed on for a small part opposite Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin.

Meanwhile, Emma Thompson and The Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger are in negotiations to play Agent Oh and Devil Girl in the film, which is expected to hit cinemas in 3-D in 2012.

Pearl Jam star Jeff Ament has opened his very own skateboard park in his hometown of Big Sandy, Montana. The bassist funded the $40,000 project earlier this year and building on the recreation site was completed on Tuesday, October 12.

Ament hit the park in the early hours of Wednesday, October 13 to test out his skills on the skateboard and give the venue his seal of approval, according to local reports.

Rockers Pixies honored the 33 rescued Chilean miners at a show in Santiago on Wednesday night, October 13 by performing a track for each of the heroes. The men spent two months buried underground following a rock collapse and were rescued one by one during a painstaking operation on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the last man making it to the surface just before the band hit the stage at Santiago's Teatro la Cupula.

Overcome with the emotion of the footage of the rescued miners on local TV stations, Pixies frontman Black Francis and his bandmates agreed to turn their first headlining gig in Chile into a marathon tribute to the miners.

Steven Spielberg will be playing Santa Claus at the U.S. box office next Christmas - he's releasing two movies on the same day over the festive season. World War I drama "War Horse" and "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn" - both directed by Spielberg - will hit movie theaters in the U.S. on December 28, 2011 and battle it out for big buck at the box office over the holiday season.

"War Horse", starring David Thewlis and Emily Watson, was scheduled for release next summer, August 2011 but studio bosses at Dreamworks have pushed it back after screening footage in London last week.

One of late actor Tony Curtis' closest friends has rocked the "Some Like It Hot" star's fanbase by revealing he fathered a secret lovechild. Just weeks after the movie legend's death, John Cohan has come forward with news Curtis' actress daughter Jamie Lee Curtis has a kid sister she's never met.

Cohan tells U.S. tabloid the Globe his pal's secret daughter, who is now in her 40s, is the product of the actor's fling with a wannabe actress in the late 1950s. The pal tells the publication that Curtis died regretting the fact that he never got to know his lovechild.

Producers working on Angelina Jolie's directorial debut have submitted the script of the wartime love story to Bosnian officials in a bid to win back permission to shoot in the country. Jolie recently began filming the as-yet-untitled drama in Hungary and had planned to shoot scenes in Sarajevo and Zenica in Bosnia, where the story is set.

But the Hollywood star's plans were thrown into jeopardy earlier this week when Bosnian government representatives revoked the actress' production permit following a mix-up over the movie's plot. Trade publication Variety initially reported the film would tell the story of a Serbian man and Bosnian woman who fall in love in the middle of the Bosnian war, but are driven to take different paths.

As soon as all the 33 Chilean miners were safe on the ground, TV networks are quick to announce projects made on the heels of the inspiring event. Trapped 2000 feet underground in Copiapo, Chile since August, the miners were pulled out one by one through narrow shaft 69 days later.

The tremendous effort by the rescuers as well as the courage that the miners held for days have been captured above the ground by Discovery Channel's cameras. "Rescued: The Chilean Mine Story" will air on October 28 as a special. Produced by Discovery Channel Latin America, it will be simulcast on Discovery Channel and Discovery en Espanol in the United States and Discovery Channel across Latin America. Broadcast in Europe, the Middle East and Africa will follow the next month.

A year after the first revived VH1 Divas concert, the network decides it's time to bring the iconic event to America's troops and their families. Partnering with USO (United States Organizations), they recruited Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Keri Hilson for the troops salute.

They will be performing in front of men and women in uniform at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar in San Diego. Dubbed "VH1 Divas Salute the Troops", the event which will also feature performance from Sugarland premieres on Sunday, December 5 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.

Rap superstar T.I. has promised to stay in touch with the suicidal young man he managed to talk out of jumping off a highrise building in Atlanta, Georgia on Wednesday, October 13 in a bid to help with his recovery. The "Live Your Life" hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., was running errands in his native city when he heard about the stand-off between cops and the desperate 22 year old on the radio.

He admits the news tugged at his heartstrings and he drove to the site of the 22-story building to see if he could help. T.I. tells TMZ.com, "It summoned my heart, my spirit. I said to myself... 'I gotta help'."

British actor Robert Lindsay is relieved to see the positive audience reactions to his play "Onassis", because he never expected "great reviews" for the production. Lindsay is currently on stage playing Greek tycoon Aristotle Onassis in London's famed West End theater district.

The drama has been panned by critics but the actor is unfazed - crowds have been responding positively to his performance and he's thrilled. Lindsay tells British talk show "This Morning", "They (positive reviews) are coming in now. The thing about the shows in the West End is that the word of mouth, thank God, is still very strong. And we've had fantastic reactions."

Socialite Paris Hilton showed off her generous side on Wednesday, October 13 by donating Halloween gifts and decorations to a California children's charity. Veteran Hollywood star Harrison Ford has spoken out for the first time about his summer nuptials to Calista Flockhart, insisting he's "very happy" as a newlywed. A discussion with conservative broadcaster Bill O'Reilly on "The View" spilled over when the controversial Fox News anchor argued against the Islamic center in downtown Manhattan.

"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria has unveiled her Madame Tussauds' wax figure at her nightclub Eve at Crystal Shops, in Las Vegas on Wednesday, October 13. Eva, who was at that time accompanied by NBA basketball star husband Tony Parker, struck a pose with her look alike.

For the unveiling, Eva donned a short, red, single shoulder dress which is almost the same like what her wax figure wore, only that the length of their dresses is different. A bunch of "Grey's" news has been sprouting in the last few days. First of all, Jessica Capshaw aka Arizona will be sidelined for two episodes after the October 28 episode. "We're basically playing it by ear," creator Shonda Rhimes told EW. "If she needs more [than two episodes], she'll let me know."

Contrary to rumor swirling on the web, a representative for Rihanna said there won't be any duet between the "Umbrella" hitmaker and Lady GaGa on her upcoming November 16 album "Loud". The spokesperson set the record straight on that matter to Just Jared.

Rihanna and GaGa were rumored to make collaboration on a song called "Broken Heels" after a scanned back cover of the record with GaGa's name on it surfaced. However, the artwork is branded fake by the rep.

A group of Michael Jackson fans is meeting with Los Angeles councilors to discuss the future of a building named in the singer's honor. Officials at Gardner Elementary School, where Jackson attended classes in 1970, opened the Michael Jackson Auditorium in 1989 in tribute to their most famous pupil.

But they decided to cover up Jackson's name with plywood in 2003 after the "Thriller" hitmaker was accused of child molestation. Now Jackson's fans have launched a campaign to have his name reinstated on the building, claiming the late star shouldn't be punished as he was cleared of any wrongdoing at his 2005 trial.

Hayden Panettiere has been denied the chance to meet Amanda Knox before she takes her story to TV - lawyers for the jailed American student have rejected the actress' request for a prison visit. The "Heroes" star has signed up to appear in "The Amanda Knox Story", a TV movie based on the 21 year old's sensational Italian murder trial over the brutal killing of her roommate, Meredith Kercher.

Last year, Knox was sentenced to 26 years in prison for slashing her friend's throat with a knife in 2007 during a violent night fueled by sex and drugs. Panettiere admits she is desperate to meet the woman she will be playing before filming starts in Rome, Italy at the end of the month, but Knox's lawyers have refused her request.

A judge has refused to throw out a plagiarism lawsuit against "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling.
