The Grauman's Chinese Theater in California became a gathering place for top-notch stars when Summit Entertainment held a special screening for "Red" on Monday, October 11. The movie's cast like Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Mary-Louise Parker, Karl Urban and Richard Dreyfuss were all seen gracing the red carpet that night.

Additionally, Bruce's "The Expendables" co-star Sylvester Stallone and Jodie Foster came to support the event. Meanwhile, filmmaker Taylor Hackford came to represent his wife Helen Mirren, who is also cast in the movie but was not able to join the special screening.

This could be the project Chelsea Handler has been talking about when tackling the rumor that she's dating 50 Cent. The funny lady tweeted earlier this month, "Everyone, calm down. I met with mr. Cent about a potential project. There's nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is."

Now a confirmation has arrived that Handler will be featured in a half-hour comedy series on E! where her late night talk show, "Chelsea Lately", is airing. Called "After Lately", it will examine the backstage goings-on at "Chelsea Lately" in a vein similar to HBO's "The Larry Sanders Show." Words are, the story outlines will be based on semi-improvisation, just like HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm".

Kid Cudi is a rock star in a music video for his song "Erase Me". The "Day 'N' Nite" rapper wears black long curly wig, straps his guitar and performs with a full band. Fellow MC Kanye West who is featured in the song later joins him, sending the crowd to their loudest scream.

Another accident has happened on the set of "Transformers 3" on Monday, October 11. During a filming of chase scene in Washington, DC, a police SUV collided with a yellow Chevy Camaro aka Bumblebee on 3rd Street and Maryland Ave in southwest DC.

The police car was not supposed to be there and the car crash was not scripted. FOX 5 NEWS reported that the police driving the SUV is a 25-year veteran senior explosive ordinance technician. He was driving to a call and apparently using a different radio channel than the officers who were securing the perimeter for the movie.

A newly outed video has shown Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart having a dinner date at Matsuhisa Japanese restaurant in Beverly Hills on Sunday, October 10. In the more than 2 minutes footage, Robert and Kristen were seen simply enjoying their meal and talking to each other.

After having the sushi date, Robert and Kristen, who were at that time accompanied by their friends, got into a Beverly Hills cap. Once they were in the cab, the rumored lovers were seen ducking down as snappers refused to fail capturing them. Though so, the two were snapped sharing a hearty laugh while in the back of the taxi.

Actress Fran Drescher has landed her own chat show. "The Nanny" star has been handed a three-week pilot run in New York; Los Angeles; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Phoenix, Arizona; Minneapolis, Minnesota and Orlando, Florida from November 26, and if the show becomes a success Drescher will score a national debut late next year, according to EW.com.

A statement from Drescher reads, "I'm thrilled to be able to bring The Fran Drescher Tawk Show to daytime TV, which fits me hand in glove. It will cover all of my passions, everything from pedicures to politics. America will have a chance to see the real Fran Drescher, beyond The Nanny. I'm the girl next door, a self-made woman who has been to hell and back a few times."

British singer Myleene Klass has opened up about her struggle to fall pregnant, revealing she considered in vitro fertilization (IVF) in her battle to conceive. The former "Hear'Say" star announced last month she is expecting her second child with fiance Graham Quinn.

Klass felt compelled to discuss her fertility problems after fans commented on how easily she fell pregnant - because it took her 18 months to conceive. The singer-turned-TV presenter, who already has a three-year-old daughter, Ava, had met with doctors to discuss treatments to help boost her chances when she received the happy news.

British singer Melanie Brown has defended her husband after he was allegedly involved in a violent brawl at a posh London hotel, insisting the reports have been blown out of proportion. The former Spice Girl and her partner Stephen Belafonte were in the U.K. capital promoting their new reality TV show.

They were out drinking with pals on Thursday, October 7 at the May Fair Hotel, but their night descended into chaos when a group of men reportedly made lewd comments about Brown, prompting Belafonte to lash out. Reports suggested one man was bleeding and had to be taken to hospital following the clash.

Morgan Freeman is to be honored with the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award next year. The Oscar-winning star's 40-year career will be celebrated at a star-studded ceremony in Los Angeles in June.

Freeman previously won an Academy Award in 2005 for his role in "Million Dollar Baby". He also landed a Golden Globe for 1989's "Driving Miss Daisy". Previous winners of the coveted award include Michael Douglas, Al Pacino, Sean Connery and Meryl Streep. "The Graduate" director Mike Nichols picked up the title this year.

Matt Damon confirmed that he and pregnant wife Luciana Barroso are about to welcome another girl in the family. Attending the premiere of his movie "Hereafter (2010)" at the 48th New York Film Festival closing night, Matt told OK! Magazine, "It's a girl. I'm thrilled. I just love my kids so much."

"I'm anxious to meet her," Matt, who is already a parent to three daughters, added. The "Ocean's Thirteen" actor claimed he doesn't mind being the only man in the house, stating "It's great, it's really incredible. And just completely different from any other experience I've ever had in my life! It's like relearning life. It's actually kind of amazing."

The releases for "The Debt" and "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" have been delayed. The action thriller, which was originally scheduled for December 29 U.S. release, and the horror movie, which was supposed to be due January 21, 2011 in the U.S., are now pushed back to new dates which have not been determined yet.

The delay is caused by an unfinished deal at Miramax, which is going to be handed over from owner Disney to soon-to-be new owners, construction magnate Ron Tutor and Tom Barrack's Santa Monica-based Colony Capital. The transaction, however, won't be finalized until the end of the year or soon after.

Few days away from the debut of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" on Bravo TV, the cast which include Paris Hilton's two aunts were gracing the red carpet to promote the reality show. National Football League officials are aggressively investigating allegations that Favre sent inappropriate messages and photos to former New York Jets employee Jenn Sterger when he was the team's quarterback in 2008. "Friends" star David Schwimmer has secretly married in early June. Confirming the nuptials, David's rep told Entertainment Weekly that the 43-year-old actor wed British photographer Zoe Buckman in a small private ceremony four months ago.

TMZ spotted a production truck pulling over the Jackson family compound on Saturday, October 9 afternoon. A production crew told the site that they were there for "an Oprah shoot". The queen of daytime talk show herself was not spotted on the property, leading to speculation that the crew was only taping an introductory segment.

An attorney for Michael Jackson's embattled physician Dr. Conrad Murray is fighting a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the King of Pop's father, insisting the patriarch has no grounds to sue. Joe Jackson filed the claims against Murray in August, accusing him of administering the fatal dose of the anesthetic Propofol, which led to the singer's death in June 2009.

Joe, who is seeking unspecified damages from the doctor, produced sworn statements regarding the "Thriller" hitmaker's financial records to prove he was being supported by his son at the time of his passing, claiming they give him the legal standing necessary to pursue the wrongful death suit.

Rap mogul Brian "Baby" Williams is looking to cash in on the success of American football team the Miami Dolphins by joining Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez and Gloria Estefan as part owners. Lil Wayne's mentor, also known as Birdman, has revealed he's in negotiations with billionaire real estate developer Stephen M. Ross, who owns the majority stake in the sports team, and he hopes to invest in the Dolphins.

Williams is currently waiting to hear from National Football League officials to see whether his bid has been successful. In a recent interview with Shade 45 radio, he said, "It's in the works. Motley Crue rocker Vince Neil will stand trial in January after pleading not guilty to misdemeanor drink driving and speeding charges stemming from an arrest in Las Vegas in June. Neil's lawyer entered the plea on his behalf in Las Vegas Justice Court on Monday, October 11.

The rocker, who was not present for the hearing, is accused driving his luxury Lamborghini sports car 60 miles per hour (96.6 kilometers per hour) in a 45 mile per hour (72.4 kilometers per hour) zone near the Vegas Strip, while over the legal alcohol limit. Neil's trial is scheduled for January 6, 2011.

Jessica Alba was pushed into considering a nose job to compete with her Hollywood peers - despite hating the idea of having cosmetic surgery to enhance her looks. My Chemical Romance are gearing up to debut "Na Na Na" music video this coming Thursday, October 14 and they already preceded the premiere by offering behind-the-scene footage. The sneak peek teases the making of a duel scene shot somewhere in the desert.

"Na Na Na" is the first single from the band's upcoming fourth studio album "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys". The music video is co-directed by Roboshobo and MCR frontman Gerard Way and will be unleashed in full on MTV at 11 P.M. EST. The young kid featured in the single's cover art is set to make a cameo in it.

America's top film moguls have unanimously agreed to honor Tom Hanks and his business partner Gary Goetzman at the Producers Guild Awards in January 2011. The pair will be handed the coveted Norman Lear Achievement Award in Television at the 22nd annual prize giving on January 22 at the Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

Hanks and Goetzman are the founders of Playtone Productions - the company behind TV hits "Big Love", "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific". Past recipients of the Norman Lear prize include Jerry Bruckheimer, Aaron Spelling and David E. Kelley.

GLAAD is not finished with their protest against the use of the word "gay" in Vince Vaughn-starring movie "The Dilemma". The organization is now complaining that Universal will "neither confirm or deny that the joke will be in the final film, in spite of the rise in attention to anti-gay violence and teen suicides that have occurred as a result of anti-gay bullying," and has just released a Call to Action via an online petition to urge Universal to pull the joke from the final version of the film.

"When 'gay' is used as a pejorative in such a public way for millions to see and laugh with, it legitimizes and propels the many taunts that gay people endure," GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios says in a statement released on Monday, October 11. "Amidst a rash of bullying related suicides and anti-gay hate crimes, we need to tell Universal and America that our community is tired of being used as a punch line."

Hit animated children's film "How to Train Your Dragon" is roaring back to the big screen - movie executives are planning a 3-D sequel for 2013. U.S. TV couple Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna's Sherman Oaks, California clothing store has been burgled again - for the second time in a week. The pair's Belle Gray store was hit by thieves early on Monday morning, October 11, while Rinna and Hamlin were taping interviews to promote their new reality TV show just three miles away.

Burglars who broke into the shop last week made off with $100,000-worth of clothing and accessories. A surveillance tape of Monday's break-in has already been seized by cops investigating the robberies. TMZ has obtained the footage, which shows an intruder pulling up outside the store in a white pick-up truck. He used a crowbar to open the back door.

Veteran opera star Joan Sutherland, who gave Luciano Pavarotti his big break, has died at the age of 83 following a long illness. The Australian-born soprano passed away on Sunday, October 10 at her home near Geneva, Switzerland.

Sutherland enjoyed a career spanning four decades and was widely touted as the successor to late opera legend Maria Callas. She made her debut in 1947, taking the lead role of Dido in "Dido and Aeneas", before her wide vocal range landed her the part of Mad Lucy in "Lucia di Lammermoor" in 1959 and shot her to stardom.

Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons has threatened to fire a blogger writing for his entertainment website after they posted "dirty gossip" alleging Rihanna was set to split from her boyfriend Matt Kemp. A writer blogging under the username SandraSays uploaded an article titled, "Rihanna Walks OUT On Matt Kemp", on GlobalGrind.com on Monday morning, October 11, claiming trouble was brewing between the Umbrella hitmaker and her Los Angeles Dodgers baseball beau.

Matt Damon has played down rumors he's set to make his directorial debut with a script written by his pals Ben and Casey Affleck, insisting the siblings have yet to present him with a storyline. Oprah Winfrey has expressed her "profound" disappointment after a former dorm matron at her all-girls school in South Africa was acquitted of child molestation charges on Monday, October 11. Tiny Virginia Mokopo pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of child abuse amid allegations she had attempted to kiss and fondle students and claims she had assaulted one of the teenagers as well as a co-worker at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, near Johannesburg, in 2007.

In court in Johannesburg on Monday, October 11, a jury acquitted Mokopo of all charges, including common assault, harassment, soliciting a minor to perform indecent acts and verbal abuse. The reported victims, aged between 13 and 15 at the time of the scandal, each testified against the matron during the lengthy trial, along with three witnesses, and Winfrey has praised their bravery throughout the police investigation.

Kim Kardashian is again posing nude, although this time she does it without her mother Kris Jenner forcing her. The 29-year-old reality TV star bares all for the November issue of W Magazine cover for its annual art issue.

Although the issue hasn't come out yet, Kim's full frontal shots have made their way to the internet and fell into the hands of online media. The leaked pictures show Kim wearing nothing but her birthday suit while having text boxes strategically covering her boobs and lady part.

FOX has begun pulling out the YouTube videos of controversial "The Simpsons" opening credit. The animated series made a headline right after the airing of October 10 episode when it replaced the iconic opening credit with the one created by street artist Banksy.

Lady GaGa has scored another online video hit after her acting debut in "The Sopranos" at the age of 15 surfaced online. The "Poker Face" hitmaker, who looks set to break a YouTube record with a billion plays of her promos, tested out her acting skills as a teenager with a role in the hugely successful drama series.

The episode, which aired in 2001, shows the star with long dark hair, playing a high school classmate of Tony Soprano's son A.J., poking fun at the youngster during an after hours swimming session. Warner Bros. Pictures has shared several brand new posters for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I". Debuted exclusively via The Leaky Cauldron, the banners are divided into those which feature the villains and those which show the heroic characters.

Lucius and Bellatrix are featured together in a one-sheet, while Greyback and a Snatcher are seen in another image. Both posters have a tagline which reads, "The Hunt Begins." Hermione is captured in two posters, one with Harry and the other one with Ron. Both banners boast a message, "Trust no one."

George Michael is now a free man. Jailed for possession of cannabis and driving under the influence of drugs following a car crash in north London in July, the 47-year-old singer was released early from Highpoint Prison in Suffolk, England, on Monday, October 11, Associated Press reported.

Although Michael was expected to serve eight weeks in jail, the former Wham! star left the facility after serving only four weeks. The judge has ordered him to serve the four weeks of the sentence in jail and the remainder of his sentence on parole. Michael was also ordered to pay about $2,000 in fines and banned from driving for five years.

Welsh actor Rhys Ifans is calling for cannabis to be legalized in the U.K. - branding the drug "one of life's little pleasures". The "Notting Hill" star, who portrays infamous drug smuggler Howard Marks in upcoming biopic "Mr. Nice", is adamant the criminalization of marijuana is "idiotic" and creates more problems.

And Ifans is urging the British government to consider controlling pot in the same way as tobacco and alcohol. He tells Britain's FHM magazine, "I agree with Howard on this. You look at any culture and prohibition has invariably been an unmitigated failure. It is just idiotic to criminalize any substance, I think. It needs to be controlled, managed."

Pop star Sinitta has been forced to deny speculation she is gay after a mix-up on Twitter.com saw her tell fans she is "coming out". The singer, who has dated music mogul Simon Cowell and Brad Pitt, sent her followers into a frenzy when she posted a message on the microblogging site which read, "Coming out now."

But Sinitta has laughed off subsequent rumors about her sexuality, insisting the post was actually meant for her driver telling him she was ready to leave the house.

"Twilight" star Nikki Reed is putting her love of fashion to good use by designing a jewelery line. The actress is in talks to launch her own brand in collaboration with another designer, and although she has yet to finalize the deal, Reed admits she is excited about her new project. She tells InTouch Weekly, "I'm working on collaborating with someone to create a line because I'm really into jewelery. I'm super into this skull thing right now."

I didn't know how it was going to happen, how much they'd separate from the book, but it's all there, it's great. Acclaimed musical-maker Baz Luhrmann has given "Glee" his seal of approval and asked TV bosses to let him direct an episode of the hit show. The Australian director, who won two Oscars for his 2001 movie musical "Moulin Rouge!", admits he is a big fan of the high school singing show and is desperate to get involved.

And Luhrmann has even approached creator Ryan Murphy about taking over the set as a guest director. He tells MTV.com, "I'm a great fan of 'Glee'. I spoke to Ryan. The glamorous "Dynasty" star believes the modern film industry would be much more exciting if studios cast more attractive stars in their movies - and she's convinced Angelina Jolie is the only actress who lives up to the legends of the silver screen.

Collins tells Britain's Hello! magazine, "I have to say, there aren't that many good-looking actresses around today. I mean, there's Angelina Jolie and there's... Angelina Jolie. But I can't think of any really beautiful actresses. Jennifer Aniston is cute, but I wouldn't call her beautiful. She's no Ava (Gardner) or Lana (Turner). I think that is why (British singer) Cheryl Cole is popular - because she is just so pretty and the public are starved of gorgeous people."

Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green are currently writing the draft for "The Flash" from a story by Greg Berlanti. Deadline Hollywood recently reported that they are expected to hand the script to Warner Bros between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The three are additionally working on the script for "Green Lantern" sequel which is also due Christmas.

Kim Cattrall often resents her "Sex and the City" fame because it has made her a target for over-eager fans. The actress shot to international stardom when she landed the role of maneater Samantha Jones in the hugely popular TV show.

Sharon Osbourne has canceled a promotional appearance in Los Angeles following the tragic death of a friend's son. The rock matriarch was due to visit popular West Hollywood eatery Hamburger Mary's on Sunday, October 10 to raise money for charity, but pulled out at the last minute after learning of her pal's sudden loss.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, Osbourne writes, "To everybody at Hamburger Mary's - so sorry I have let you down but just received some bad news that a good friend of mine's son passed away. I have to be with her now. I promise I will be back if you'll have me back. I'm so sorry. God bless and I love you all. Sharon."

"Outlaw" is officially the first canceled show on NBC this Fall. The production had been halted last week, pending the number which October 8 episode pulled. Turns out Friday night 10/9c slot is still tough on new series for the rating was stuck on the 4.6 million average.

Eight episodes of the series have been produced and four of them have aired. The final four episodes will air on Saturdays at 8/7c beginning this week while the empty Friday night slot will be filled by a second hour of "Dateline". "School Pride" which led "Outlaw" remains intact on its 8/7c slot.

New movie "Made in Dagenham" dominated the annual Dinard British Film Festival in France over the weekend - scooping two of the event's top prizes. The film follows the story of female factory workers fighting for equal pay in the 1960s and stars Sally Hawkins, Miranda Richardson and Rosamund Pike.

"Made in Dagenham" won the top honor at the festival in Dinard, France on Sunday, October 10, sharing the Golden Hitchcock with Treacle Jr, about a man who leaves his family to live on the streets. The movie also landed the Silver Hitchcock audience award, while Stuart Hazeldine's tense thriller "Exam" won the Bronze Hitchcock prize.

"Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher has shocked fans by admitting she snorted cocaine on the set of sci-fi epic "The Empire Strikes Back" at the height of her drug addiction. The star, who played Princess Leia in the phenomenally successful franchise, has been open about her battle with drugs and prescription medication, documenting her addictions in her memoir Wishful Drinking.

And during an interview to promote the stage adaptation of her tell-all tome in Sydney, Australia at the weekend, Fisher admitted she indulged in narcotics during the filming of 1980 blockbuster "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back". Fisher made her confession all the more shocking by revealing she inhaled cocaine as she sat on the film's famous ice planet set.

David Arquette and Courteney Cox are pulling the plug off their 11 years of marriage. Through a statement released on Monday, October 11, the couple announced their separation shortly after the split of their best friends Ben Harper and Laura Dern, who have wed for almost five years, made a headline.

"We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time. The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage," David and Courteney said in the joint statement. The new "Spider-Man" film has found its villain. Columbia Pictures has announced that Rhys Ifans is cast in the untitled Spider-Man reboot as the nemesis of Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker/Spider-Man.

Gushing on Rhys' casting, director Marc Webb states, "What sets the Spider-Man villains apart is the complexity of their relationships with Peter Parker. Rhys' incredible ability to embody both warmth and rage makes him the ideal choice for this character." However, "the filmmakers prefer to not reveal which character Rhys will be playing in the forthcoming film," the statement notes.

Adam Lambert will still go ahead with his concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia despite facing protest from Pan Malaysian Islamic Party. The opposition party demanded the Thursday, October 14 show to be canceled because they believe it is promoting "gay culture" in the mainly Muslim country.

"Adam Lambert's shows...are outrageous, with lewd dancing and a gay performance that includes kissing male dancers, this is not good for people in our country," said PAS Youth leader Nasrudin Hasan. They even threatened to call "as many of its members and supporters" to proselytize to concertgoers if the gig still goes ahead.
