Gemma Arterton's Grandma Died of Self Inflicted Wound

Gemma Arterton's grandmother killed herself with a kitchen knife while suffering from depression and bipolar disorder, an inquest has heard. Helen Sarfas, 70, was found dead at her home in Kent, England in January and initial police reports suggested the knife wounds had been self-inflicted.

Coroner Roger Sykes has now given a primary conclusion insisting it is "clear beyond any doubt" that Sarfas stabbed herself. At the inquest Sykes said, "It is clear beyond any doubt whatsoever that the wounds were self-inflicted. Therefore it follows that my primary conclusion is that she took her own life."

Lady GaGa has again drawn attention with her daring outfit. After sparking controversy over her meat dress at this year MTV Video Music Awards, the 24-year-old singer has now come out with a dress made of human hair and a pair of fishnets.

GaGa revealed another jaw-dropping wardrobe of hers when she made a surprise appearance at New York's The Oak Room on Wednesday night, September 29. The hairy dress, however, didn't match her blond locks as it was made of strawberry blond hair.

Paul McCartney Sent Jailed George Michael a Letter

Sir Paul McCartney has sent a handwritten letter to his incarcerated pal George Michael to help the singer through his current jail stint, according to a U.K. report. The former Wham! star has been behind bars since September 14, when he was jailed for possession of cannabis and driving under the influence of drugs following a car crash in north London in July.

And The Beatles legend, who himself spent 10 days in prison in 1980 for cannabis possession, has reportedly offered Michael his support by sending a personal message. A source tells Britain's The Sun, "He (Michael) got the letter on Monday and was really chuffed. Sir Paul said he would see him soon and told George to keep his chin up. The letter was two pages long and George read it over and over again."

Lindsay Lohan's Dad Wants Her Out of Rehab

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael wants the actress to be moved to a different rehabilitation centre - because he's convinced she won't recover if she's still given prescription medication. The "Mean Girls" star checked into the Betty Ford treatment clinic in southern California on Tuesday, September 28, four days after posting $300,000 (bail to walk free from jail after failing two mandatory drug tests.

But Michael Lohan, who has previously been treated at the same center, is adamant the actress won't overcome her drug issues unless she is moved to a more strict facility. And he's particularly concerned because late model/actress Anna Nicole Smith, who died in 2007 from a prescription drug overdose, also tried to overcome her problems at Betty Ford unsuccessfully.

For the filming, the area surrounding the college is said to have undergone a transformation to create a realistic backdrop of London as it was 350 years ago.

But a handful have engaged in wanton vandalism, taking hammers and chisels to the brickwork."

According to TMZ, the judge had discussed ending the conservatorship with the pop star's lawyers at previous meetings, but has agreed that it's best Jamie continues to act as his daughter's legal guardian for the immediate future.

Wood tells WENN, "I like the way she sings. She's coming to England and I've contacted her record company about getting her on my radio show. I play her stuff, so maybe I'll hijack her and do some stuff with her. I've never met her; I don't know what she looks like but I really like her voice and she's got this really rock 'n' roll voice."
