Country sweetheart Taylor Swift has been celebrated by her former high school - education chiefs will change the name of their auditorium in her honor. The "Love Story" hitmaker donated $75,000 to Henderson High School in Tennessee last year and she has been rewarded for her generosity.

The school's board members voted unanimously on Tuesday, September 21 to change the name of the hall in honor of Swift, according to CMT.com. The auditorium's name will become official after a second meeting next month.

Keanu Reeves apparently was not joking about plan to make another "Bill & Ted" movie. His co-star Alex Winter has had an interview with MTV Movies Blog held via Twitter and he confirms that there are indeed talks to make "Bill & Ted 3".

"We kicked around the idea over the years and had always thought if we could make something that was as kind of genuine in spirit as the originals and without falling prey to kind of retro cynicism or something that was unnecessary, it would be worth doing," Winter says. "Now the cat's out of the bag, and the truth is that, yeah, we have finally hit upon an idea that we think is pretty great."

Superproducer Mark Ronson is stepping behind the counter of a legendary London music store to serve customers as he releases his new album next week. "Record Collection", the star's third disc, hits shelves on Monday, September 27 and Ronson is determined to meet the fans who buy the album.

He'll become an assistant at independent music store Rough Trade in the U.K. capital - and he can't wait. Ronson tells Britain's The Times, "Do you know the bit I'm looking forward to the most? I get to stand behind the counter and serve people. That's what I thought I would end up doing for a living anyway."

John Legend and The Roots turned heads on the streets of New York on Thursday night, September 23 when they marched through the city playing instruments on their way to their concert at Terminal 5. The two critically-acclaimed acts, who have joined forces for their new collaborative covers album "Wake Up!", caused a stir as they made their way west on Manhattan's 56th Street and walked through the main doors of the venue, causing fans to scream in excitement.

But their big entrance wasn't the only surprise of the night - Legend and The Roots were joined on stage by a string of stars, including rapper Common and R&B star Jennifer Hudson. Taking his place behind a grand piano, Legend introduced Common and soul singer Melanie Fiona to the spotlight to perform the disc's title track, while hip-hop veteran CL Smooth took over the mic for his verse on "Our Generation" - Legend and The Roots' take on the Ernie Hines hit.

After getting into hot water for including Katy Perry's cleavage on a skit, "Sesame Street" moves on with another parody that would mean something more to adults than children. The muppet show is spoofing HBO's "True Blood", changing the title to "True Mud" and giving lesson in other words rhyming with "Mud".

The skit opens with a theme song of the original series but the lyric has been changed and the opening sequence is tamed down. Taking place at a bar that has Lafayette-lookalike, the skit welcomes a muppet with Bill Compton's hairstyle. Waitress, presumably Sookie, takes order from him and he requests for TruMud.

Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster are to team up for director Roman Polanski's new film "God of Carnage". The film adaptation of Yasmina Reza's Tony-winning play will begin shooting in France at the beginning of 2011.

The comedy is set in New York, but exiled Polanski is refusing to return to America, where he still faces 30-year-old child sex charges. The moviemaker was recently released from house arrest in Switzerland after he was threatened with extradition to the U.S. to face the charges against him.

Actress Kristen Bell was one half of a star couple before she even found fame - she dated "Glee" hunk Matthew Morrison in college. The "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" star is engaged to actor Dax Shepard, but he's not the only actor Bell has romanced.

While studying at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, she met Morrison - and the pair embarked on a whirlwind love affair. Bell tells Us Weekly magazine, "I actually went to college with Matty Morrison. We actually dated very briefly, so I'll have to say maybe Matt Morrison is my favorite part of Glee for various reasons."

Director James Cameron has fought off competition from his "Titanic" star Leonardo DiCaprio to be named the most influential man in Hollywood. The "Avatar" moviemaker topped the Film Power 100 rundown in British newspaper the Guardian, leaving DiCaprio trailing in third.

Gwen was so impressed by the wax statue, saying "That is so me." The mother of three later touched her wax figure's abs, stared into its' eyes and viewed the statue. The singer told her friends, "That is so weird, I can't believe it. Can you believe it? That's crazy."

After some talks about her possibility to return to "Underworld" movie franchise, Kate Beckinsale has finally signed up for "Underworld 4". Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment announce, via The Hollywood Reporter, that the actress has sealed a deal to reprise her role as Selene after starring in the first two films.

The movie has also got a start date, being planned to kick off principal photography in March 2011 in Vancouver, Canada. They are currently looking for a director and an actress to portray Selene's daughter. The script was written by John Hlavin before undergoing revisions by J. Michael Straczynski.

Allison Iraheta is not the only "American Idol" alumnus who slammed Jive Records this week as fellow "Idol" singer Crystal Bowersox has also aired her label frustration. While Iraheta hit back at her former label in a live concert, Bowersox took it to her Twitter to share her feeling.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is coming back to Bravo on October 4 but the drama is ready to be previewed. In a sneak peek for what's going and what's coming, model Cynthia Bailey and attorney Phaedra Parks are introduced as the new housewives replacing DeShawn Snow and Lisa Wu-Hartwell who quit in season 1 and 2 respectively.

Warner Bros. has collected the names of several directors who could direct the next "Superman" film. According to Deadline Hollywood, those who are among the contenders are Zack Snyder, Matt Reeves, Tony Scott, Jonathan Liebesman and Duncan Jones.

Christopher Nolan, who is hired to play "godfather" role on the project, has reportedly met with the helmers included in the shortlist. "Criminal Minds" star Kirsten Vangsness is planning to turn her same-sex wedding into a world tour - exchanging vows in every country. Actress Katherine Heigl has pledged $1 million in a bid to end Los Angeles' doggy over-population problem. The animal lover has handed the cash over to the new Compassion Revolution initiative, which is aimed at spaying and neutering pets.

The money comes from her Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, named after her late brother. Heigl hopes her efforts and those of the Compassion Revolution members will help cut down on the numbers of stray dogs put to death because shelters can no longer cope with them.

Announced on the stage of this year's MTV Video Music Awards, Lady GaGa's new album "Born This Way" is going to have "a lot of hit records that will piss people off." She told RWD magazine, "Everyone tells me I'm arrogant but my music's the only thing I've got, so you'll have to let me be confident about one thing. I suppose that's what you can expect from the album."

While GaGa didn't explain why people will turn their head on the effort, one of her producers RedOne is willing to share his insight on that matter, saying it might be because the album is her liberation. Actress Kate Winslet has founded an autism charity after an emotional conversation with her daughter about the condition. The "Titanic" star recently narrated a documentary, "A Mother's Courage: Talking Back to Autism", about an Icelandic woman's fight to find a way for her autistic son to communicate.

The actress watched the film with her daughter, Mia - and the nine year old's questions about the documentary prompted Winslet to establish The Golden Hat Foundation, which will offer speech training to those who live with the condition.

Demi Lovato reportedly has moved on from past lover Joe Jonas. An insider close to Demi claimed the 18-year-old songstress has a crush on Kim Kardashian's brother, Rob Kardashian. Country legend Johnny Cash died frustrated and disappointed about America's invasion of Iraq. The singer/songwriter's daughter Rosanne has revealed the conflict occupied her dying father's thoughts during his final waking hours - and caused him great distress.

She insists he wanted to protest the war but didn't have the strength. Rosanne Cash tells The Progressive, "We invaded Iraq in March (2003), and he died in September, and because his health was so fragile, he couldn't take the controversy of making a public statement against the war."

TV star Seinfeld is thought to be worth $800 million, while Forbes estimates Cameron is worth $650 million and Woods $500 million. Jay-Z's portfolio of music, clothing and sports investments places him at $450 million.

The lawyer who secured Michael Jackson's freedom in his 2005 molestation trial has settled an outstanding invoice with the executors of the King of Pop's estate. Top celebrity attorney Tom Mesereau was one of many Jackson affiliates who filed a creditor's claim with the estate following the pop star's death in June 2009, alleging he was still owed $341,452.05 for his services.

Mesereau defended the late "Thriller" hitmaker during his highly-publicized court case, in which Jackson faced seven counts of child molestation and two of administering an intoxicating agent to a 13-year-old boy. The singer denied all charges and, in June 2005, he was acquitted on all counts.

Heavy rocker Rob Zombie has signed on to direct another horror movie - with the team behind cult film "Paranormal Activity". The former White Zombie frontman will direct his own script in a film about the resurrection of the witches of Salem, Massachusetts, who were executed for sorcery 300 years ago.

"The Lords of Salem" will be Zombie's fifth feature film as writer and director - his past successes have included "The Devil's Rejects" and the "Halloween" remake. He will team with Haunted Movies executives Jason Blum, Steven Schneider, and Oren Peli - the team behind 2009 box office phenomenon "Paranormal Activity" - for the project, which will be set in modern-day Salem.

Angelina Jolie has cast a little-known Bosnian actress as the lead in her directorial debut. "Snow" star Zana Marjanovic, 27, will front the untitled wartime love story. The actress tells the Associated Press she's very excited about the prospect of working with a "great actress and humanist" like Jolie.

The Oscar winner hopes to start shooting the film later this year in Hungary and Bosnia.

Embattled actor Mel Gibson is facing foreclosure on three of his properties in Malibu, California after he was accused of failing to settle a $12,000 bill with building contractors. The "Braveheart" star has been named alongside his estranged wife Robyn in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on September 17 by executives at Ramage Construction in.

The company bosses allege they were hired to build homes near the church on Gibson's Malibu estate but they never received the balance upon completion and they are now demanding the former couple pays up - or place the properties in foreclosure.

"The King's Speech" was dubbed People's Choice at the 35th Annual Toronto International Film Festival and the first trailer might explain why the movie could win such award. It highlights a British King's efforts to overcome a nervous stammer.

Despite the serious issue, the trailer debuted by Yahoo! Movies opens with funny sequences which see King George VI getting help from "exceptional" speech therapist Lionel Logue. From there, the trailer captures more serious moments since the King must prepare his speech in front of his people.

Embattled rap mogul Suge Knight found himself in trouble with police in the early hours of Thursday, September 23 after he was caught driving on a suspended licence. Knight's car was pulled over by Los Angeles cops at around 3 A.M. when he was spotted committing a minor traffic violation.

Bad Company frontman Paul Rodgers has warned fans the British rock super group are unlikely to return to tour in America following the band's Oklahoma show in October. And Rodgers anticipates the gig will be his farewell to Bad Company fans in the U.S., because the singer wants to focus on his solo act. Asked about future U.S. dates, he tells the Times Record Online, "After this Tulsa show, there will be no further plans for Bad Company beyond dates in Japan."

Poison frontman Bret Michaels is set to undergo further surgery in January 2011 to repair a hole in his heart. The 47-year-old rocker, who has type one diabetes, has been riddled with health woes in recent months.

He suffered a near-fatal brain hemorrhage in April this year, just weeks after undergoing an emergency appendectomy and then suffered a minor stroke. During his hospitalization, doctors discovered a hole in his heart that he'd had since birth.

Singer/actress Taylor Momsen is refusing to let harsh criticism from TV style guru Tim Gunn bring her down after he lashed out at the teenager and branded her a "pathetic diva". Ryan Reynolds landed a lucky escape from a recent random drug test on a road-side in Germany - after confessing to cops he suffers from stage fright when urinating in public. "The Proposal" star was stunned when his car was pulled over by "creepy" cops one morning - and he was asked to go to a hotel to complete a random urine test for drugs.

But the actor talked his way out of the test after admitting to police he is pee-shy. Heavy metal band Lamb of God have canceled a concert in Monterrey, Mexico after promoters allegedly failed to "fulfill their obligations". The rockers were due to perform in the city on October 6 but they have now pulled out of the show, insisting they wouldn't have been "presented in a professional way".

In a statement to their fans, the group's publicist says, "Due to circumstances outside of the band's control, Lamb of God will not be able to perform in Monterrey on October 6, 2010. While the band was anxiously looking forward to play (sic) for their fans in Monterrey, the promoter did not fulfill their obligations in regards to the band's fee, travel, or production logistics."

Minaj insisted she knew nothing about the gig and has vowed to track down those responsible and take them to court. In a series of 'tweets', she writes, "What is this I'm hearing about a MSU concert? Where and when is this concert supposed to be? I feel so bad 4 ppl (for people) who were scammed. For the record. I'm not doing any shows between now and the 22nd of October. Ricky Gervais is backing a campaign to stamp out the trade in baby monkeys for laboratory research, branding the practice "shameful" and "disgusting". Officials at the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) are calling for an end to the international industry, claiming thousands of wild primates are taken from their families every year for export to research centers.

And animal-loving funnyman Gervais is adding weight to their Stop the Baby Trade campaign by donning a BUAV and urging his fans to publicize the issue. He says, "Imprisoning monkeys and snatching their babies is a disgusting way to treat other primates. Monkeys are highly intelligent beings who feel pain and distress, just like us... Please support the BUAV to end this shameful cruelty. We must Stop the Baby Trade."

U.S. TV star 'Judge' Judy Sheindlin has called for Lindsay Lohan to be thrown back in jail, insisting the troubled actress needs a "dose of reality". Sheindlin, a former family court judge and the star of Judge Judy, has blasted the decision to release Lohan from prison after serving just 14 days of her 90-day sentence for violating her probation.

The star has since failed a court-ordered drug test and will discover on Friday, September 24 if she will be sent back to jail. And the TV judge insists Lohan will never recover until she spends a prolonged period of time behind bars.

A movie starring Hayden Panettiere as convicted murderer Amanda Knox has been thrown into jeopardy after lawyers for the jailed American student vowed to challenge plans to turn her story into a film.

Executives at America's Lifetime network announced this week that the "Heroes" actress has signed up to appear in "The Amanda Knox Story", based on the 21 year old's sensational Italian murder trial over the brutal killing of her roommate. Meredith Kercher was killed during a violent night fueled by sex and drugs in 2007 and last year Knox was sentenced to 26 years in prison for slashing her friend's throat with a knife.

"Iron Man 2" DVD and Blu-ray are set to hit stores on September 28 and will include some bonus materials such as an alternate opening which was not used in the finished version of the film. Now the approximately three-minute video of the deleted scenes have hit the web.

The alternate opening features Tony Stark, in Iron Man's costume, throwing up into a toilet of an airplane, probably due to his alcoholism. The video also includes footage featuring Pepper Potts kissing Iron Man's helmet before Stark jumps off the plane. The latter sequence was seen in the movie's trailers.

Rockers Wolfmother will play at Asia's largest music festival next month even though frontman Andrew Stockdale "freaked out" and threatened a cancellation when he discovered the gig is sponsored by a cigarette company. A statement attributed to the singer and posted on a fan site claimed the band had scrapped plans to perform at the Java Rockin' Land festival in Jakarta, Indonesia over their opposition to an endorsement deal with tobacco firm Gudang Garam.

The Australian group's agent Joe Segreto has confirmed Stockdale wasn't happy when he found out about the sponsorship agreement, but they have decided to go ahead with the gig for the sake of their fans. He tells Australia's Triple J radio show, "(The band's management) have pretty much confirmed Wolfmother will be performing. Andrew was freaked out but then having thought about his job as a performer... He does not endorse any tobacco company, any alcohol company, that's none of his business."

R&B star Lyfe Jennings has been jailed for three and a half years over a violent altercation with his former girlfriend which ended in a high-speed car chase with police. The singer was due to perform a concert in Seattle, Washington on Tuesday, September 21 but the show was abruptly canceled after Jennings was convicted by a court in Atlanta, Georgia of a string of charges relating to the 2008 incident and sentenced to prison on Wednesday, September 22.

The 37 year old - real name Chester Jennings - was accused of breaking down the door of a house in Smyrna, Georgia belonging to the mother of his children, Joy Pound, and firing a gun outside. He was later pursued by cops as he fled the scene in his sports car and the high-speed chase ended when he crashed the vehicle into a tree. He was charged with misdemeanors of criminal trespass, discharging a firearm near a public highway and refusal to take a DUI test, as well as two felony counts of attempting to elude a police officer and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Former "American Idol" contestant Adam Lambert has given his seal of approval to the show's new judges Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler - insisting the stars will make the talent contest more credible. Lopez and the Aerosmith rocker were unveiled as the new panelists of the hit U.S. reality series on Wednesday, September 22, following weeks of speculation over who would replace exiting judges Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi.

The name change petition states that Portia's full name is now Portia Lee James DeGeneres. In a statement, the 37-year-old actress said, "I am thrilled to legally adopt my wife's name. I will continue to use Portia de Rossi for professional purposes."

Shakira's upcoming music video for her new single "Loca" has been teased in a snippet. The sneak peek features the Colombian singer rolling around on a pair of roller skates, riding on the back seat of a motorcycle and dancing in the city fountain with her fans.
