"They have formed a very close friendship over the past year, and it's obvious to all of us who know them personally that they like each other more than 'just friends'," the source shared. "It wouldn't surprise me if they dated in the future."

Rapper DMX has walked out of jail after serving time in connection to a reckless driving conviction in 2002. DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was released in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 12 after completing 18 days of a 90-day sentence, reports TMZ.com.

He surrendered to authorities in July, returning to prison barely four weeks after he was released following a four-month stint behind bars on a separate parole violation charge. The star vowed to use his time inside to make steps toward "rebuilding his image and rapport with the community and his loyal fans", according to his attorney.

Despite his success, record label bosses are still trying to convince him to recruit a band he can play live with at his concerts - but he insists he'll always be a solo act. He tells Britain's Daily Star, "My record company has been suggesting I play with a band for years, but that's not me. I refuse. I'm a DJ. Comedian John Belushi is coming back from the dead - the late star's life will be documented in a new biopic by "The Hangover" director Todd Phillips. Studio executives at Warner Bros. recently acquired the film rights from Belushi's estate and have hired Phillips to work on his life story with "The Pursuit of Happyness" screenwriter Steven Conrad.

Phillips will produce the picture, while a director has yet to be appointed, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The actor's widow, Judith Belushi Pisano, will serve as executive producer. Belushi died from a drug overdose in 1982, at the age of 33.

British actress Patsy Kensit has ruled out marrying ever again following her split from her fourth husband. The "Lethal Weapon 2" star was plunged into a deep depression after separating from DJ Jeremy Healy in April, admitting she felt "foolish and ashamed" of the break-up.

And after four failed unions, Kensit has sworn off ever settling down again. She tells She magazine, "This year has been truly, truly awful. I lost my confidence and ballooned from eight stone to 11. But I'm looking forward now, with one million per cent conviction, that I definitely won't be getting married again."

Executives behind TV hit "Mad Men" are auctioning off a walk-on role on the critically-acclaimed drama to benefit a cancer charity. The show, about life in the advertising world in 1960s New York, regularly features its leading actors, including Jon Hamm and John Slattery, puffing away on cigarettes and auction organizers are putting a twist on this aspect of the programme - by donating a portion of the profits to the Lung Cancer Program at California's City of Hope.

Sandra Stern, chief operating officer at the Lionsgate production firm, says, "The smoking depicted in Mad Men was ubiquitous in the '60s world of Madison Avenue advertising and is a vivid reminder of how far we've progressed in our attitudes toward smoking since then."

Supermodel Joanna Krupa is taking legal action against two companies who allegedly used photos of her without permission. The blonde beauty was left fuming after discovering bosses at the firms had used her images to promote events without prior consent.

Actress Edie Falco is sharing the bond she has with her beloved pooch in a new film featuring a string of celebrity pet owners. The former "The Sopranos" star will host the premiere of "My Dog: An Unconditional Love Story" at the Guild Hall in the Hamptons, New York on August 23.

"Daydream Nation" revolves around disaffected high school senior Caroline Wexler who moves from the city to a small town, only to find she has absolutely nothing in common with the stoner-hicks who populate her high school. Her boredom leads her into an affair with her handsome young teacher.

Justin Bieber has learned about musician-turned-actor Mark Wahlberg's vow to rap again only if they make a duet together. And, the teen singing sensation responded to his call for a collaboration, writing on Twitter that it was a great idea.

In a string of casting news, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" star Ken Baumann has been tapped to have a recurring role on ABC's "Castle" while "Heroes" star Masi Oka is coming to "Hawaii Five-0" as a guest star.

Baumann, known for his role as Ben on the ABC Family series, will be the first boyfriend of Molly Quinn's Alexis Castle. In his first episode, "Punked," Richard Castle is dealing with the fact Alexis is excited about having her first boyfriend, but he's unnerved that she's not confiding in him with all the details. The cast and crew of "Scream 4" are still busy shooting the film and more sneak peeks have been obtained from the set. Banana Doc has posted a lot of fresh set pictures, capturing the filming of Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere's scene in a house in Ann Arbor.

During the night filming, Panettiere was spotted answering a phone in the second-floor room of the house. Later, standing on the same spot like her co-star did, Roberts was seen staring at something or someone outside from the upper window. One of the set photos teases further by showing what looks like blood splashed on the door.

Pink is avoiding the crowd in a Funhouse tour version of "Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)" music video. In the clip shot in black-and-white footage, the 30-year-old pop singer is seen sitting alone and strumming her guitar in a beach she describes as so beautifully empty.

Rap superstar Jay-Z has teamed up with sneaker bosses at Nike to create five custom-made pairs of shoes to be auctioned off for charity. Troubled rapper Foxy Brown isn't the only one in her family with legal woes - her brother is facing up to 15 years in jail for possessing forged credit cards. Gavin 'Pretty Boy' Marchand and three pals were busted by New York City police at designer store Hermes on Manhattan's Upper East Side last Saturday, August 7.

The 35 year old and his accused accomplice Warren David, 31, allegedly used a forged American Express card to pay for $7,882.55-worth of goods. Getaway driver Derwin Benoit, who sped off after the incident, was later pulled over and apprehended, according to police.

Rapper Juelz Santana found himself in trouble with police on Wednesday, August 11 when he was arrested for driving without a license. The "Hey Ma" star was driving in New York when he was pulled over by cops for chatting on his cell phone while behind the wheel.

He was then found to be in violation of another traffic law and was subsequently taken into custody. His rep, Lynn K. Hobson, tells XXLMag, "Juelz Santana was arrested... after being pulled over in his Bentley for talking on a cell phone while driving."

Troubled U.S. reality star Mary Delgado has been arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in Tampa, Florida. The 2004 winner of "The Bachelor" was taken into custody on Thursday, August 12 after she was allegedly spotted driving erratically.

She refused to take a blood alcohol test and was briefly held behind bars at the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office before being released on $500 bail, reports ABC News. It's not the first time Delgado, 42, has been in trouble with the law - she was arrested in 2007 for assaulting Bryon Velvick, the man who proposed to her on the hit TV show, and she was busted again in 2008 for public drunkenness.

Actor Jason Schwartzman is set to become a first-time dad - his wife is expecting a baby this December. The "Rushmore" star wed designer Brady Cunningham in July 2009 and the couple will welcome the bundle of joy in time for Christmas.

Paris Hilton's lawyers have vowed to "vigorously" fight a multi-million dollar lawsuit accusing the 29-year-old blonde socialite of breaching a hair extensions contract. HBO gave away two more clips of the upcoming "True Blood" episode which has one thing in common, women's complaint. Sookie is not pleased by the way things are so not normal between her and Bill while Arlene scolds Terry for taking the problem lightly.

In the first clip, Sookie works with Bill to clean up a body in her house while saying "Normal couples do not do this, Bill Compton." The vampire snaps back, "What would you rather be doing? Sittin' on the sofa, watching television?" Sookie answers, "Just once I'd like to not find a dead body in my house. Is that asking too much?"

Victoria Adams' representative has moved swiftly to shoot down fresh reports the singer-turned-fashion designer is pregnant with her fourth child. The former member of Spice Girls has three sons with her soccer stud husband David Beckham and the couple is repeatedly dogged by rumors it is adding to its brood.

This week, editors at Australian magazine Famous claimed Victoria was expecting another baby - but her spokesperson insists there is no truth to the claim, telling UsMagazine.com the story is "nonsense".

The mother of Frank Sinatra's grandson has spoken out to clear up reports about his recent hospitalization, insisting the alleged suicide attempt has been "blown out of proportion". Emergency services were called to the home of Frank Sinatra, Jr.'s son, also named Frank, in Downey, California on August 2 and admitted a 32-year-old male to Downey Regional Medical Center.

Reports suggested Frank had tried to kill himself, while subsequent rumors claimed the man was not even a member of the famous family and simply shared the name of the late crooner's grandson. But Mary Fleming, who conceived the younger Frank Sinatra, Jr. after an affair with Ol' Blue Eyes' only son, has now confirmed the initial reports, admitting her 32-year-old son did spend a night in hospital earlier this month.

Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg has issued a public plea to Justin Bieber to get in touch - after the teen star snubbed his request to phone his young daughter. The rapper-turned-actor has been desperately trying to get his little girl in touch with the 16-year-old heartthrob, and was promised a call from Bieber by his agent.

But days have gone by and Wahlberg is still waiting by the phone. During an appearance on U.S. late night program "Lopez Tonight" on Thursday, August 11, the star admitted he was growing impatient.

Halle Berry, who will be seen gracing the September issue of Vogue magazine, has dished out her split from Gabriel Aubry, father of her 2-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry. Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina is set to tell all about her daughter's recent jail stint and current rehab stay in a U.S. TV interview on Friday, August 13. The "Mean Girls" star was sentenced to 90 days behind bars earlier this year after she was found to have violated the terms of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest.

She served just 13 days behind bars at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California and was transported to a rehabilitation clinic as part of a court-ordered 90-day treatment program. Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, revealed the troubled star is "doing very well" at the center, where she is believed to be undergoing treatment for her reliance on prescription drugs.

French film icon Brigitte Bardot has vowed to fight director Kyle Newman's plans to bring her life story to the big screen, insisting "sparks will fly" if he goes ahead with a project starring his wife Jaime King as the former sex symbol. The "And God Created Women" star rose to fame in the 1950s and '60s before retiring from acting in the '70s and devoting her life to campaign for animal rights.

Scissor Sisters are playing with bright colors and hip-shaking moves in a newly-released music video supporting their single "Any Which Way". Some scenes even feature naked Jake Shears and some nude girls hiding their body behind a table lamp and other home props.

"Any Which Way" is the second single from the band's third studio album "Night Work". The music video is directed by Ace Norton (Norah Jones, Death Cab for Cutie) and was shot over two days in London, England.

Rivals of "Mad Men" in the Best Drama category reportedly saw the promo as a campaign for the AMC show because it aired before the voting is closed.

"Are they kidding?," a rep of a TV network said as quoted by THR. "They're running basically ads for 'Mad Men' in middle of the voting process. Since it was announced that "Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows" will be made into two movies, fans have been wondering where the book will be split. An article from the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly has provided the answer, mentioning that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" will end [SPOILER ALERT!] "at about Chapter 24 of the book, with Voldemort gaining possession of the Elder Wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows that allow the bearer to conquer death."

Ricky Gervais is expanding his TV empire - he is working on plans to broadcast a Chinese version of "The Office". The British funnyman has boasted of earning "millions" from the syndication rights to his hit sitcom and royalties from its U.S. re-make.

Now he is set to swell his coffers even further after unveiling his plans to shoot a Chinese version of the show. On his official blog, Gervais writes: "I have some amazing news... We are about to start work on developing a Chinese 'The Office'. How cool is that?"

But a school trip to see classic musical "Annie Get Your Gun" in 1995 had a profound effect on Groff - and he vowed to become an actor instead. He tells Vogue, "I was sitting in the audience and the intermission came and I couldn't believe there was a second act. I mean, it was too good to be true."

With Ryan Reynolds' rocketing name after he lands a lead role in "Green Lantern", "Deadpool" should have had a great start. But this turns out to be a great problem when 20th Century Fox does not want the actor anymore to portray the main mutant character, so Rob Liefeld hinted with his recent tweets.

Veteran actor Kirk Douglas has called for more Muslims to speak out and condemn the 9/11 terrorists - after admitting he's "confused" by plans to build a mosque near Ground Zero. The Hollywood legend has waded into the debate over the controversial proposal, insisting it would be "painful" for the families of the 2,700 people who died in the World Trade Center attack.

But he also admits it's unfair to punish all Muslims for the actions of a slim minority - and is urging more followers of Islam to speak out against terrorist atrocities. Taking to his MySpace.com page, Douglas writes, "I must write how I feel: A blistering argument is taking place about building a mosque near Ground Zero."

The Colombian star admits she usually only sees the first row of her audience but she's determined to reach everyone in her concert venues. She says, "It's going to have themes and there'll be a lot of audience interaction. My live show will have a lot of that - a lot of dancing, a joie de vivre."

Country star Taylor Swift has added a bizarre accolade to her growing list of achievements - she's been inducted into a bowling Hall of Fame. The 20-year-old singer was picked over nine other stars including Justin Bieber and Kingpin funnyman Bill Murray to enter into the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame.

Swift has been photographed bowling with her celebrity friends, including "Glee" actor Cory Monteith, while Bieber filmed his breakthrough music video, "Baby", in a bowling alley. A photo of Swift and a plaque in her honor will be displayed at the museum in Texas later this summer.

Former basketball star Dennis Rodman's estranged wife has filed legal documents alleging she has been evicted from two homes after his failure to pay child support and rent. The sportsman-turned-reality-TV-star's former partner, Michelle, insists Rodman owes $527,745.10 in child support for their son, D.J., and daughter, Trinity, because he hasn't kept up with the $50,000 monthly payments.

Michelle filed new papers in Orange County Superior Court last week alleging he has failed to pay her rent twice since 2009, causing her to be removed from two apartments in less than two years, reports TMZ.com. Rodman's child support amount was increased in March.

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed plans to turn the hit U.S. show into a Broadway musical - and he's already holding auditions. Bosses at Music Theatre Intl. announced in March they were in "negotiations" to turn the popular singing and dancing program into a New York stage production.

But 20th Century Fox representative Chris Alexander moved quickly to slam the claims, insisting he was "mystified" about the rumored talks. Now Murphy has ended speculation by announcing a stage show is in the pipeline, telling the New York Daily News the musical is "definitely" happening. He adds, "I'm auditioning people now."

Brian Austin Green gets to keep his tattoo visible when guest starring as the new hunk on "Desperate Housewives". The first look of him as a man in his 30s who catches some of the neighbors' eyes is released, showing him sharing a scene with Marcia Cross' Bree.

"The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' alum will play Keith, a new contractor and charming playboy who turns up the heat on Wisteria Lane," so the description of his character reads. According to EW which first acquired the photo, Keith is hired by Bree to fix her house. "Bree has an instant physical attraction to him," executive producer Bob Daly said. "But then over time it turns into something more."

Montana Fishburne's problems continue to mount - she's reportedly facing trial over claims she attacked her boyfriend's ex-lover. The 19-year-old daughter of Hollywood star Laurence Fishburne hit the headlines last month when it emerged she has appeared in a porn film.

Further scandal followed with the news she was arrested for prostitution last year but charges of solicitation were dropped when she pleaded no contest to criminal trespass. The "Matrix" star Fishburne was said to be "very hurt" by his daughter's wild ways, but now there's more bad news - she has been charged with battery following an incident in February, according to TMZ.com.

British singer George Michael has been charged with possessing cannabis and driving under the influence of drink or drugs on Thursday, August 12, London's Metropolitan Police department revealed. The charges were stemmed from a car crash on July 4, Reuters reported.

During that time, Michael was arrested after his Range Rover crashed into a building in the Hampstead district of north London. Previously in 2009, Michael also got tangled in another fender bender as his car hit a tractor-trailer, while two years earlier, he was banned from driving for two years and sentenced to 100 hours of community service after pleading guilty to driving while on drugs.

Yahoo! Movies has got its hand on the first trailer for "How Do You Know". Putting Reese Witherspoon in the middle of a love triangle between Paul Rudd and Owen Wilson, the film sees these three stars playing characters who each have an unanswered question.

Reese's Lisa Jorgenson is dating Owen's Manny, but she still needs some time to think if she wants what other women do in a relationship. Manny agrees to give her some space while he also figures out if he is really in love with Lisa.

A month shy of the MTV Video Music Awards live telecast, new performers and presenters are revealed. Drake is confirmed to rap at the upcoming event, while Nicki Minaj and Selena Gomez are tapped to present awards.

In addition to the Canadian MC, MTV also confirmed rumor that Kanye West will make a return as a musical guest. The two rap moguls, who are sharing Best Hip-Hop Video nomination with Lil Wayne and Eminem for their duet track "Forever", are lined up alongside previously-announced act Florence and the Machine.
