Selena Gomez Hits 'Lopez Tonight' Without Her Voice

Selena Gomez, who just turned 18 on Thursday, July 22, made an appearance on "Lopez Tonight" on Monday night, July 26 in Los Angeles. Sadly, Selena, who has her new movie "Ramona and Beezus" opened in U.S. theaters on July 23, didn't bring her voice along with her.

Wearing a black cocktail dress, matching heels and a stunning messy curly hairstyle, Selena turned to a handy-dandy Dynavox machine and a dry-erase board to help her talking to the show host and comedian George Lopez. Additionally, Dynavox have donated their machine in Selena's name to the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Chris Evans' Captain America Costume to Undergo Transformation in the Movie

The first look at Chris Evans as Captain America recently has been unveiled during "Captain America: The First Avenger" panel at San Diego Comic Con, but the suit seen in the footage was said to be a "test version". Speaking to MTV Movie News, the actor has hinted that there will be more than one costume for his character in the film.

"There's a couple stages and initially in the script, Steve [Rogers] isn't Captain America right away. He gets the injection and isn't asked to go to war right off the bat," he began his explanation. "He's used in different areas, so he has different stages of the suit. I don't think he actually jumps into the final suit until the third act of the film."

Danny Dyer Caught Driving Illegally

British actor Danny Dyer is in trouble again after he was allegedly caught driving without a valid license, according to U.K. reports. "The Business" star has kept a low profile since May when he came under fire from domestic violence groups for an inappropriate response to a reader's letter in his column for men's magazine Zoo.

In the piece he told a 23-year-old reader to "cut your ex's face, and then no one will want her" when asked for advice on how to get over a break-up. Now Dyer has caused outrage among road safety campaigners for allegedly getting behind the wheel of a Porsche sportscar - despite not legally being able to drive.

Never Shout Never aka Christofer Ingle has made public a music video in companion to his single "Cheatercheaterbestfriendeater". The clip mostly features different kinds of "chin monsters" mimicking the song.

The one-man act says the so-called monsters represent "a rowdy cast of characters from all different walks of life." He filmed the video in the back lounge of his tour bus during a break in Phoenix, Arizona. It is directed by Ingle with the help from pals Holly and Nick.

Confirmed, Rihanna to Go Aboard 'Battleship' for First Big Screen Debut

Rihanna is set to make her first film feature appearance by joining "Battleship". Variety reports that the R&B singer has sealed the deal, which was announced on Monday, July 26, with Universal Pictures. Her representative has further confirmed the news to E! Online.

Rihanna is added to the cast ensemble which already has Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard playing a Naval officer and his brother respectively. However, the character that will be portrayed by the "Take a Bow" hitmaker has not been unveiled yet.

'Toy Story 3' Smashes Record in U.K. Box Office

"Toy Story 3" has smashed records at the U.K. box office by scoring the highest grossing debut for an animated movie. The third and final installment of the hit Pixar franchise pulled in $31.5 million over its opening weekend in Britain.

The huge takings make the new "Toy Story" the most successful animated movie ever at the U.K. box office, as well as the second biggest British opening of all time behind "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" in 2004. The family film knocks Leonardo DiCaprio's "Inception" from the number one slot, falling to number two with $6.2 million, while "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" remains at three with $2.1 million.

Several pictures from the video shoot of Kris Allen's second single "The Truth" have been found. The photos feature the winner of "American Idol" season 8 filming the clip under the burning sun. One of the images sees him falling on his back from a black grand piano to a mattress.

"I do my own stunt," he tweeted. The filming was originally scheduled to be done last week, but got delayed. "Just got to the set for the video shoot. It is so hot," he wrote on July 15. "Update on the video shoot: got goin and then the desert decided it needed a whole lot of rain. So, the video shoot is postponed til Monday."

Lindsay Lohan Is Not Released From Jail Anytime Soon

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has dismissed reports Lindsay Lohan's jail time has been further slashed - insisting "nothing has changed". The "Mean Girls" actress was sentenced to 90 days behind bars for breaching her parole in relation to a 2007 DUI arrest and she was admitted to the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, last week.

Her initial three-month stint was reduced to 13 days because of overcrowding in prison. Online reports have suggested the star could be out before Saturday, July 31 but L.A. Sheriff's Department rep Steve Whitmore insists Lohan will still be behind bars until next week.

SOiL Lose Their Lead Singer and Drummer

American heavy metal band SOiL have lost their lead singer, A. J. Cavalier, and drummer Tom Schofield. Schofield, who co-founded the group in 1997, sparked rumors of a rift in early July when he told website Blabbermouth his bandmate Cavalier was on an "indefinite hiatus" from the band. He also revealed that he was "looking for new musical opportunities".

Al Pacino is heading back to Broadway for a new production of his hit New York play "The Merchant of Venice". Cameron Douglas' Alleged Drug Suppliers Arrested

Two men have been detained in California on suspicion of supplying Michael Douglas' jailed son Cameron Douglas with drugs. DMX Heads Back to Jail to Begin 90-Day Sentence

After leaving an Arizona jail back in May on fraud, drug and animal-cruelty charges, rapper DMX has headed back to jail. According to an attorney for DMX, real name Earl Simmons, the star turned himself in at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Courthouse on Monday afternoon, July 26 at about 2:30 P.M., MTV News reported.

The attorney revealed that DMX surrendered to authorities to begin serving a 90-day prison sentence stemming from a 2002 reckless driving charge. DMX's lawyer Aja Southern told the site that the "What's My Name" singer was arrested for DUI that year but reached a plea deal for a lesser charge of reckless driving.
