The first look at Chris Evans as Captain America recently has been unveiled during "Captain America: The First Avenger" panel at San Diego Comic Con, but the suit seen in the footage was said to be a "test version". Speaking to MTV Movie News, the actor has hinted that there will be more than one costume for his character in the film.

"There's a couple stages and initially in the script, Steve [Rogers] isn't Captain America right away. He gets the injection and isn't asked to go to war right off the bat," he began his explanation. "He's used in different areas, so he has different stages of the suit. I don't think he actually jumps into the final suit until the third act of the film."

The one-man act says the so-called monsters represent "a rowdy cast of characters from all different walks of life." He filmed the video in the back lounge of his tour bus during a break in Phoenix, Arizona. It is directed by Ingle with the help from pals Holly and Nick.

Rihanna is set to make her first film feature appearance by joining "Battleship". Variety reports that the R&B singer has sealed the deal, which was announced on Monday, July 26, with Universal Pictures. Her representative has further confirmed the news to E! Online.

"Toy Story 3" has smashed records at the U.K. box office by scoring the highest grossing debut for an animated movie. The third and final installment of the hit Pixar franchise pulled in $31.5 million over its opening weekend in Britain.

The huge takings make the new "Toy Story" the most successful animated movie ever at the U.K. box office, as well as the second biggest British opening of all time behind "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" in 2004. The family film knocks Leonardo DiCaprio's "Inception" from the number one slot, falling to number two with $6.2 million, while "The Twilight Saga's Eclipse" remains at three with $2.1 million.

Several pictures from the video shoot of Kris Allen's second single "The Truth" have been found. The photos feature the winner of "American Idol" season 8 filming the clip under the burning sun. One of the images sees him falling on his back from a black grand piano to a mattress.

"I do my own stunt," he tweeted. The filming was originally scheduled to be done last week, but got delayed. "Just got to the set for the video shoot. It is so hot," he wrote on July 15. The original members of cult rock act Cathedral are reuniting for a one-night only show in London to mark their 20th anniversary. Lee Dorrian, Garry Jennings, Mark Griffiths, Adam Lehan and Mike Smail will perform their breakthrough album "Forest of Equilibrium" in its entirety at the O2 Academy in North London in December.

The current Cathedral line-up will also perform a second set at the anniversary show, according to Blabbermouth.net. Frontman Dorrian says, "We have come a long way since those dirge-ridden, smoke-filled, cheap-lager-and sweat-infested early rehearsals back in 1990."

Los Angeles County coroner's officials have ruled out reports mold played a role in the deaths of actress Brittany Murphy and her husband Simon Monjack. The authorities briefly examined whether toxic mold played a part in the deaths of the couple, who died five months apart - and quickly ruled it out.

Ed Winter, the coroner's assistant, tells the Los Angeles Times, "There were no indicators that either death was related to mold." Both Murphy and Monjack died of pneumonia combined with anaemia.

Paris Hilton has sparked another controversy while partying aboard a yacht in St. Tropez, France on Sunday, July 25. The hotel heiress was snapped flashing what appeared to be a Nazi salute, holding her finger under her nose, to simulate a mustache, and pointing her hand upward.

However, Paris' rep has dismissed the allegation. The rep told Radar Online, "This is totally false. The photos are misrepresented. Paris did not make a reference to Hitler. Much of her family is Jewish as are the majority of her friends and she is very upset and offended at the allegations."

Oliver Stone has apologized for "clumsy" comments he made in an English newspaper, suggesting the Holocaust has become Hitler's most prominent atrocity because of Jewish control of the media. In an interview with Britain's Sunday Times, the director was explaining how his latest documentary about the Nazi leader and former Soviet dictator Stalin would put the two men "in context".

He added, "Hitler was a Frankenstein but there was also a Dr. Frankenstein. German industrialists, the Americans and the British. He had a lot of support. Hitler did far more damage to the Russians than the Jewish people, 25 or 30 (million killed)."

Daniel Craig has allegedly said yes to "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)". Following rumor that he was in talks to star in the film, the 42-year-old actor is reported to have closed his deal to portray journalist Mikael Blomkvist in the film.

Deadline Hollywood, which first broke the casting news, also said that Craig will possibly return in the two sequels which are based on "The Girl Who Played With Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest". The trilogy was written by late Stieg Larsson.

"Modern Family" could win an Emmy for the wrong reason. The ABC comedy released on Monday, July 26 an Emmy poster campaign that stated Sofia Vergara would run around naked on Sunset Boulevard if the show wins Outstanding Comedy at the upcoming Primetime Emmy Awards.

The poster which was published on Variety however was for comedic purpose. A small asterisk is included, saying "Cast member may change without notice". Vergara herself has not commented on the Emmy campaign and thus it is unknown whether she agreed to the idea.

Gwyneth Paltrow is going country in "Country Strong" which has hit the web for stream. American heavy metal band SOiL have lost their lead singer, A. J. Cavalier, and drummer Tom Schofield. Schofield, who co-founded the group in 1997, sparked rumors of a rift in early July when he told website Blabbermouth his bandmate Cavalier was on an "indefinite hiatus" from the band. He also revealed that he was "looking for new musical opportunities".

And now remaining members, guitarist Adam Zadel and bassist Tim King, have confirmed the pair has quit. A statement posted on the band's MySpace page reads, "I'm sure you are all wondering what is happening in the world of SOiL after all the rumors and statements that have been going around."

DJ/producer Mark Ronson is pushing the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to honor the late DJ AM with a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Ronson thinks AM, real name Adam Goldstein, should be the first club DJ to land a star on the famous thoroughfare, which is currently celebrating its 50th year.

He took to his Twitter page on Monday, July 26 to kickstart the campaign, writing "I think AM should be the first dj to have a hollywood star... Don't you?" Goldstein died from an accidental drug overdose on August 28, 2009.

Al Pacino is heading back to Broadway for a new production of his hit New York play "The Merchant of Venice". The actor has dazzled star-studded crowds this summer at Central Park's Delacorte Theater in Manhattan, where he played villain Shylock in the William Shakespeare play, and bosses at The Public Theater are so impressed by his eight-week run, which ends on Sunday, August 1, they have struck a deal with Pacino to relocate the show this autumn.

Pacino will reprise his role on October 19 for a limited run at the Broadhurst Theater. No further casting announcements were made as WENN went to press. Pacino previously played Shylock in a 2004 film adaptation of "The Merchant of Venice".

Country music star Josh Turner is set to be a father for the third time - his wife Jennifer Ford Turner is expecting again. The singer admits he had a sixth sense his wife was pregnant, even though the first test she took came back negative.

He tells People, "She did it and it was negative, but I refused to believe it. So when she took another and told me she's pregnant, all I could say was, 'I told you!' and she was floored." But Turner insists he's more than ready to expand his brood, saying "I come from big families - my momma was the oldest of three and my daddy was one of six - and I've always loved children."

As "Charlie St. Cloud" is only waiting for its U.S. release on July 30, Zac Efron is reportedly lining up his next projects. Words are, the "High School Musical" hunk is "on the verge of closing on deals" to star in "Die in a Gunfight" and "The Lucky One".

According to Deadline Hollywood, Efron could play a young New York kid who falls in love with the daughter of his father's nemesis in "Die in a Gunfight". It has a high octane action script written by neophytes Andrew Berrer and Gabriel Ferrari the story is set in motion a Romeo and Juliet-like forbidden romance. The project, however, has not been shopped yet but Mark Gordon is on board to produce it. He will likely look for director first and eyes a spring start.

Angelina is so last season. "Jersey Shore" reportedly will introduce a new cast member who will hang out with Snooki, The Situation and the rest of the gang in season 3. Her name is identified as Deena Nicole and she is a friend of Snooki who often hangs out with the pint-size Italian and J-Woww.

The new season's filming has just been kicked off in New Jersey and Deena, according to Radar Online which also acquires her photo, is warming up for the show. "The new girl hung out with Snooki and J-Woww most of the day," a source who saw them filming in New Jersey on Saturday, July 24 said. "She seemed shy at first."

On why Jolie, who has no followers and is not following anyone yet, protected her account, a source told the site, "Jolie had her people obtain the account for her so no one else could have that username." The source further said, "There was actually someone else using @AngelinaJolie but Angelina requested the account suspended and took it over."

Singer Martha Wainwright has had a number of "serious unrequited crushes" in her past - and insists she's used to chasing men who are "completely unattainable and uninterested". British rocker Ritchie Blackmore has become a dad again at 65 - the musician has welcomed a daughter with his singer/songwriter wife, Candice Night. The former Deep Purple guitarist and Rainbow frontman welcomed Autumn Esmerelda with 39-year-old Night on May 27, reports Blabbermouth.net.

Former "Ugly Betty" star America Ferrera is in no rush to wed fiance Ryan Williams, insisting planning their big day is the last thing on her mind. The actress became engaged to Williams in June, shortly before they flew out to Iraq for a morale-boosting visit to U.S. troops serving in the Middle East.

Actress Ali Larter fled Los Angeles for Europe during the first few months of her pregnancy because she "wasn't ready" to share her happy news with the world. The "Obsessed" star and her husband, writer/actor Hayes MacArthur, announced Larter was expecting their first child last week, less than a year after exchanging vows in August 2009.

Brittany Murphy's mother has blasted "absurd" reports suggesting mold in her daughter's marital home may have contributed to the untimely deaths of the actress and her husband Simon Monjack. Health officials at California's Department of Public Health have allegedly launched an investigation into claims the couple's respiratory health could have been affected by the growth of mold in the Hollywood Hills mansion they shared before tragically dying within five months of each other.

The "Clueless" star's mother, Sharon Murphy, who also lived at the property, is said to have initially refused the Los Angeles County Coroner entrance to the house to inspect the mold while looking into the actress' death in December 2009.

Finding a new judge to replace Simon Cowell in "American Idol" reportedly is not the only main concern for Simon Fuller. According to New York Post, the mastermind behind the FOX's hit singing competition is doing an "outreach" to record labels about a new deal for the "Idol" artists.

The "preliminary talks" with other labels reportedly started as Sony Music's longstanding agreement to represent the "Idol" winner on its various labels is expiring. A source from the publication said the Sony deal came to an end when the TV show season nine finished its run in May this year.

Now that raunchy photos of Jon Bon Jovi have become public consumption after recently released by the rocker's former tour manager Rich Bozzett, the star's rep took a jab at Rich. The rep told New York Post that Rich attempts to "cash in" on his former boss' fame.

The outfit Jack Nicholson wore to play the villainous Joker in "Batman" is to go under the hammer in a film memorabilia auction. The three-piece suit, created by Saville Row tailor Tommy Nutter for the 1989 comic book movie, is expected to sell as much as $15,000 when it is sold next month.

Jesse McCartney's new track which he performs for movie "Step Up 3-D" has hit the web in its full audio stream. Simply titled "Up", the fresh material features Auto-Tune and contains some rap parts from an unknown MC.

Beside having Jesse McCartney's song, the soundtrack album is also filled with tracks from the likes of Trey Songz, Flo Rida, Jazmine Sullivan, Busta Rhymes and Wisin & Yandel. The compilation set is going to be released in United States on July 27.

Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs is fighting a massive $996,000 bill from New York City officials who have accused the rapper's Bad Boy Entertainment company of plastering the Big Apple with posters.

New York Finance Commissioner David Frankel, who is attempting to collect more than $1.9 billion in debts owed to the city, has accused the firm of failing to pay a fly-papering fine. "We are going to find these people," Frankel vowed. "We're going to turn them upside down by their ankles and we're going to shake them until the money comes out of their pockets."

Guillermo Del Toro is convinced his new movie "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" will terrify cinema-goers because the scary picture has been given a restrictive adults-only rating even though it doesn't contain any "sex, gore or profanity".

The new film, a remake of a 1973 television feature, stars Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce and tells the story of a young woman who is stalked by monsters in the night. Director Del Toro reveals he deliberately left out scenes of sex or violence in a bid to secure a wide-ranging age-rating, but officials at the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) have still classified the picture R.

Another recording tape featuring troubled actor Mel Gibson launching racist insults, threats, profane tirades aimed at ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva has made its way to the internet. In the tape, which is the 7th audio released by Radar Online, Mel is heard getting jealous of Oksana's ex-lover, former James Bond star Timothy Dalton.

"Did you get my last message about me being a bad father, and Tim being a great dad now?" Mel asks Oksana, who has a 12-year-old son with Timothy, in the new tape released on Monday, July 26. As Oskana says "No", Mel continues, "You didn't hear that one? Well, you should go and f**k him (Timothy), you know, you fickle c**t because I don't care."

New sneak peeks are brought forward for "Green Lantern" after the film was promoted at 2010 San Diego Comic Con. This time, Warner Bros. Pictures releases four character posters featuring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Mark Strong as Sinestro and Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond.

The poster exposing Sinestro is the first look at the alien supervillain in the superhero movie. Additionally, the one-sheets contain different phrases which form two lines mentioning, "In brightest day, in blackest night. No evil shall escape my sight," if they are read in respective order.

British actress Naomie Harris was diagnosed with anemia after she embarked on an extreme raw food diet and tried to survive on uncooked carrots. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star admits she is "obsessed" with maintaining a healthy lifestyle but pushed her body to the limit with a super-strict eating regime.

But after suffering a health scare as result of the diet, Harris vowed to eat sensibly and munch vitamin pills to boost her immune system. She tells Britain's Live magazine, "I'm obsessed with health, which has been an interesting journey for me. I went down the raw-food-diet route, became a raw foodist and got really ill."

Pregnant actress Emilia Fox has no plans to marry her boyfriend just yet - because the expectant parents are still living apart. "The Pianist" star is five months pregnant with her partner Jeremy Gilley's baby, but admits she has yet to move in with the charity campaigner, although the couple plans to eventually share a home after the birth.

She tells Britain's Fabulous magazine, "We don't even live together. I think our first step (before marriage) has to be that. I think because we started out as friends and it was quite some time before anything happened that we just didn't do the moving in together thing."

Penelope Cruz has vowed never to lie about her age - because she isn't ashamed of growing older. The 36-year-old actress is determined to grow old "gracefully" like movie icons Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn, and she's determined not to play the Hollywood game of knocking a few years off her birth date.

She tells Britain's You magazine, "I never want to lie about my age. If I look around at the actresses I admire, they are all women who have not fought growing older, but embraced it - women like Sophia Loren or Audrey Hepburn... Of course my face will change as I get older, but that's OK. It's a good thing to be old, because that means you haven't died yet right?"

The Roots' music video which is made under direction hands of Rik Cordero to support their latest single "The Fire" has been debuted. It follows a group of men as they are led by army through a bloody, violent and hopeless march toward the unknown.

It chronicles a post-apocalyptic death march set in 1945 during the final stages of World War II in Europe. After a cataclysmic event renders the war futile, a paramilitary splinter group, led by a Kurtz-like figure known as The Commodore, forces the transfer of young men who will be used as labor...and food. The last survivor of the march receives a mysterious White Box which holds the key to survival.

The fourth season premiere of "Mad Men" was made a huge celebration that New York Times Square was exclusively occupied for more than three hours on Sunday, July 25. A screening of the first return episode began at 9 P.M., an hour before the broadcast on AMC, and attended by the series' cast January Jones and Elisabeth Moss.

Many of the attendees channeled the '60s style, competing with the opening act of a vintage fashion show judged by "Project Runway" alum Chris March. The crowd was also entertained with a trivia quiz about the show. The leading ladies arrived at around 8.45 P.M., in time when the 7,000 plus people have packed the place.

Rapper Eminem has clung on to number one in the U.K. music charts, marking the fourth week his album "Recovery" has hit the top spot. The hip-hop star came first in the album charts, continuing his reign that was disturbed just once by Kylie Minogue earlier this month.

Second place went to U.K. rapper Professor Green's debut "Alive Till I'm Dead", while British singer Plan B's "The Defamation of Strickland Banks" claimed third. Minogue's "Aphrodite" dropped two spots to fourth, while pop star Eliza Doolittle's self-titled debut rounded out the top five.

A representative for Jon Bon Jovi has dismissed reports the singer was unhappy with the band's omission from Forbes' recent music rich list - insisting the rockers never "expected" to be included. The band failed to make it onto the 2010 Musicians' Rich List earlier this month, when the poll was topped by Irish rockers U2 and also included AC/DC, Beyonce Knowles and Bruce Springsteen.

The list, which was compiled based on musicians' earnings, is said to have been disputed by reps for Bon Jovi following the band's omission. A rep for Forbes is said to have confirmed the complaint to New York Post gossip column Page Six, telling the publication, "Forbes estimated each act's earnings between June 2009 and June 2010 and included revenue streams such as concert dates, merchandise sales, licensing fees, music sales, and publishing royalties. Bon Jovi didn't tour for eight of those months."

Driving rain lashed the stage at the Hard NYC Party on Governors Island, and the "Paper Planes" hitmaker was forced to abandon her performance as forks of lightning lit up the sky.

But she refused to leave the stage after organizers cut off her sound - joining several of her bandmates to rap without any backing track for several minutes. Before ending her set, M.I.A. told fans the lightning could be a danger to the metal-framed stage, adding: "F**k that s**t."

Tom Cruise has defended his daughter Suri's right to wear grown-up outfits, insisting he wants to encourage the four-year-old's "self-expression" through fashion. The "Mission: Impossible" star and his wife Katie Holmes have come under fire for allowing their little girl to wear expensive designer clothing and high-heeled sandals.

But Cruise believes Suri should be allowed to wear what she likes - so she can develop her "creativity". He tells Britain's GMTV, "In Spain, they wear the (high-heeled) flamenco dance shoes form birth. Listen, I believe that she (should wear) whatever she wants to wear. She dresses herself. I want to encourage her creativity and her own self-expression. I think that's important for the child's own identity."

Daniel Radcliffe did not intend to let his devotees down. After learning that "Harry Potter" fans were disappointed because their idol did not come to recent San Diego Comic Con International where "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" was presented, the British star has expressed his apology.

"I apologize to all the wishful thinkers for my disappointing non-presence," he said by phone from London to Los Angeles Times. Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway is winning over locals while filming a new movie in London - by embracing the hard-partying pub scene. A representative for Sean Penn has dismissed rumors the actor has revived his romance with model Jessica White. The Oscar-winner was linked to the Sports Illustrated beauty last year, just weeks after his wife Robin Wright filed for divorce.

The pair went their separate ways and White was subsequently rumored to have found love with another actor, Ryan Phillippe. Online gossips turned their attentions back to White and Penn after they were spotted enjoying several nights out together in New York this month, but a rep for the actor is adamant they are not back together, telling New York Post gossip column Page Six, "It's not true."

Two men have been detained in California on suspicion of supplying Michael Douglas' jailed son Cameron Douglas with drugs. The "Wall Street" star's 31-year-old son was sentenced to five years in prison in April after pleading guilty to charges of methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute and one count of possessing cocaine.

Cameron is believed to have agreed a deal with prosecutors to name his alleged suppliers to avoid a mandatory 10-year prison sentence. Brothers David Escalera, 34, and Eduardo Escalera have now been arrested and charged over allegations they trafficked "large amounts" of methamphetamine to Cameron, according to the New York Post. They are being held without bail.

The list of potential new judge for "American Idol" is getting longer. Two more huge names, Justin Timberlake and Elton John, are tossed in as the candidates in consideration to take over Simon Cowell's old post. According to THR, these two are in producer Simon Fuller's wish list.

Timberlake and John thus are in competition with previously mentioned names such as Harry Connick Jr., Donald Trump and Chris Isaak. Rocker Bret Michaels who personally confirmed that he was in talks with the executives reportedly has been excluded from the race.

After leaving an Arizona jail back in May on fraud, drug and animal-cruelty charges, rapper DMX has headed back to jail. According to an attorney for DMX, real name Earl Simmons, the star turned himself in at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Courthouse on Monday afternoon, July 26 at about 2:30 P.M., MTV News reported.

The attorney revealed that DMX surrendered to authorities to begin serving a 90-day prison sentence stemming from a 2002 reckless driving charge. DMX's lawyer Aja Southern told the site that the "What's My Name" singer was arrested for DUI that year but reached a plea deal for a lesser charge of reckless driving.

The promised teaser trailer for "Sucker Punch" comes out earlier than it was expected. Said to be released on Tuesday, July 27, the video makes its way out a day before via Apple.

It follows Emily Browning's Baby Doll who is brought to an asylum by her evil stepfather, who intends to have her lobotomized in five days. There, she and several other girls plan their escape, but in her imaginary world she needs to steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man.

Rumor that Megan Fox will be playing a leading lady opposite Dominic Monaghan in Eminem's "Love the Way You Lie" music video is not fabricated. On July 23, a day before Joseph Kahn announced he has done "director's edit" of the clip, Eric Ford of On Location News caught the "Jennifer's Body" beauty and the "Lost" hunk shooting their part together.

The stars are pictured sharing some Vodka and a passionate kiss while sitting on lawn chairs on the rooftop of a Liquor store in a gritty Los Angeles neighborhood. They also filmed a scene inside the liquor store as well as inside a seedy dive bar next door. "An injury of some kind" is seen visible on Fox's elbow which is speculated to be "fake and [made] for her character."
