Russian singer Oksana Grigorieva's dentist has finally broken his silence about his client's alleged fight with ex-boyfriend Mel Gibson which left her with damaged teeth. Grigorieva has told Los Angeles authorities that the movie star knocked out her teeth during a row earlier this year and she visited her dentist, Dr. Ross Shelden, the following day to cover up the damage.

She swore him to confidentiality before revealing all about her fight with Gibson. Shelden has since handed over to investigators photographs he took of Grigorieva's mouth on the day of her visit. The dentist tells U.S. news show Entertainment Tonight, "Oksana's been my patient for 12 years. It was an emergency situation... One of Oksana's veneers was knocked off and another veneer was chipped."

Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones are fighting it out to play Elizabeth Taylor on the big screen, according to industry reports. The two Oscar winners are in talks to play the movie icon in an upcoming film based on Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger's book "Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century".

Russell Crowe, Clive Owen and Colin Farrell are among the big names being suggested as possible Burton, Taylor's ex-husband. Mike Nichols is reportedly interested in directing the film.

"Family Matters" star Jaleel White has been cleared of allegations he attacked a woman, due to a lack of evidence. The actor, who played nerd Steve Urkel on the sitcom, was at the center of a police investigation after former lover Bridget Hardy claimed the star punched her in the chest while they were driving on a Los Angeles freeway in June .

The accuser, the mum of White's daughter, also alleged that in a separate incident the actor slapped her before pushing her into a toilet with such force that the porcelain broke. But the case has been dropped after Los Angeles Police Department authorities ruled there was not enough evidence to move forward with the case.

As Justin Bieber has become the next subject of Bluewater Productions' line of "Fame" bio comics, the first look of the animated "Baby" hitmaker has been previewed. The first preview shows the animated pop sensation in his signature hair with his both hands put on his pants' pockets.

The comic, which is called "Fame: Justin Bieber", will arrive on shelves and online retailers in November and can be purchased for $3.99. Bieber's 32-page comic book is available for pre-order at comic book stores, as well as on Amazon.

Spanish authorities are investigating Sir Sean Connery and his wife Micheline over allegations of fraudulent tax activities, according to reports. A property company linked to the former James Bond star and his wife has allegedly failed to pay $2 million of tax on the sale of development rights to land on the outskirts of Malaga, reports Spanish newspaper Sur.

In May, Connery was named in a money-laundering investigation stemming from the sale of a seaside villa just east of Marbella, a coastal town close to Malaga. Mel Gibson has now been accused of not only assaulting his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva but also hitting and bruising their six-month-old daughter Lucia. Radar Online reported that there are photos to prove that the "Braveheart" actor did the physical abuse toward his baby girl.

The images, which will be a vital piece of evidence, are said showing Lucia with a bruise on her chin as part of the result of her parents' bust-up on January 6. Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has been released from hospital after he was injured in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, July 15. The rocker, 59, sustained injuries after his motorcycle was struck by a car at traffic lights in Taunton, Massachusetts.

He was taken by ambulance to the nearby Morton Hospital and Medical Center, reports PatriotLedger.com. The driver who struck Perry, 62-year-old Linda O'Brien, has been cited for following a vehicle too closely.

Hollywood actor John Corbett was left in awe of teen actress Selena Gomez's star power after a mob of female fans snubbed him to meet the Disney star. A Michigan couple has been jailed for attempting to extort money from actor John Stamos. Allison Coss and Scott Sippola were arrested in December 2009 after they allegedly threatened to release snaps of the actor with cocaine and strippers unless he handed over $680,000. Coss claimed she met the actor when she was 17 before embarking on a romantic affair with him - allegations his lawyer denied in court.

Stamos maintains he met Coss in 2004 at a party in Orlando, Florida, while recovering after separating from his wife, Rebecca Romijn. Taking to the stand earlier this week, Stamos told prosecutors about his subsequent email exchanges with Coss, describing them as "flirty" but "friendly". He added, "It was all very sweet. I considered her a friend."

The first full trailer for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu-directed film "Biutiful" has been made available for viewing pleasure. Though it is cheap in sharing the dialog, the video's narration by Javier Bardem's Uxbal explains that his life is controlled by fate which keeps changing direction.

Little is known about the storyline but the film centers its story on a man embroiled in shady dealings who is confronted by a childhood friend, now a policeman. Sensing the danger of death, Uxbal tries to reconcile with love and save his children, as he tries to save himself.

Rapper Too Short has been arrested and charged with battery after allegedly fighting with security staff following a concert in Boise, Idaho on Thursday, July 15. The rapper, real name Todd Shaw, was briefly jailed in Ada County with one of his associates early on Thursday following his performance at the local Knitting Factory concert club.

Police were called to the scene just after 11 P.M. local time on Wednesday, July 14 to investigate a fight, reports Idahostatesman. According to police reports, three employees claimed they had been punched, kicked and pushed by Shaw and associate Michael T. Walton.

Singer/songwriter Hank Cochran has lost his battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 74. A country music legend, Cochran penned hits like "Make the World Go Away", "That's All That Matters To Me", "I Fall to Pieces" and George Strait's "Ocean Front Property".

He died at his home in Tennessee on Thursday, July 15 after a final singalong on Wednesday night, July 14 with pals Billy Ray Cyrus and Jamey Johnson, who visited the ailing songwriter. Cochran landed his big break as a songwriter in the early 1960s when Ray Price hired him. Cochran then brought pal Willie Nelson onboard.

Mark Wahlberg had his toughest acting test on the set of his new action comedy "The Other Guys" when he had to pretend to be upset about shooting one of his sporting foes. Die-hard Boston Red Sox fan Wahlberg's character is a New York cop who accidentally shoots Yankees baseball star Derek Jeter and he admits he secretly relished the plotline, but couldn't show it.

Wahlberg says, "It was a lot of fun. It was probably one of the most difficult acting scenes, to be upset about the fact that I had to shoot Derek Jeter... My character shoots him in the leg."

Actress Elizabeth Banks is off to Never Never Land after landing a coveted role in a new live-action movie about Peter Pan's pixie pal Tinkerbell. The "Zack and Miri Make a Porno" actress is set to star as the mischievous pixie in Disney's forthcoming romantic comedy, "Tink".

Hollywood heavyweights Adam Shankman, McG and and Jennifer Gibgot have signed on to produce the screenplay, written by Jennifer Wright Shapiro, reports Variety. It is not the first time a modern star has played the fairy - Julia Roberts played the pixie in 1991's "Hook" and French actress Ludivine Sagnier portrayed the sprite in P.J. Hogan's 2003 adaptation of "Peter Pan".

Sylvester Stallone has given up his one-time dream of playing Edgar Allen Poe in a big-budget biopic after realizing he's the wrong man to play the horror writer. Stallone insists he's still very much involved in plans to make a Poe movie, which he has written but he accepts the idea of him directing and starring in the film has become a "big parody", and he's glad the project never got off the ground with him as the author.

He explains, "I do have a script that's gone through 20 mutations. Every few years I take it out and rework it and update it. What fascinates me about Poe is that he was such an iconoclast. It's a story for every young man or woman who sees themselves as a bit outside the box, or has been ostracized during their life as an oddball or too eccentric. It didn't work for him either."

Cancer survivor Andy Whitfield is to make his first public appearance since battling the disease at next week's Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California. The Aussie star will join his "Spartacus: Blood and Sand" castmates to chat about the future of the hit TV franchise set in ancient Rome and co-star Lucy Lawless insists Comic-Con is a great place for his return.

She says, "I know he's gonna love every moment of it." Whitfield, who plays gladiator slave Spartacus on the show, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma earlier this year, resulting in a delay in production on the second series of the show, which is filmed in New Zealand.

Sandra Bullock's ex-husband Jesse James is still seeking treatment for his personal troubles after telling a court he hit "rock bottom" following his split from the actress. The TV mechanic took the stand in an Orange County, California court on Wednesday, July 14 as part of his ongoing custody trial with his second wife Janine Lindemulder over their six-year-old daughter Sunny.

James was quizzed about his emotional status in recent months after Bullock dumped him following revelations of his infidelity in March. When asked by Lindemulder's lawyer if he had recently hit "rock bottom", he replied, "Yes. To some degree."

Robyn Moore, the ex-wife of Mel Gibson, has stepped up to defend the troubled actor amidst his nasty custody battle with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. Learning that Mel was caught on tape lashing out at Oksana and launching offensive and racist tirade aimed at her, Robyn claimed Mel had never been rude to her before.

"Mel never engaged in any physical abuse of any kind toward me before, during or after our marriage," Robyn wrote in a declaration submitted to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department overseeing the custody battle between Mel and Oksana over their illegitimate six-month-old daughter Lucia. A cover girl appearing on the front page of Vampire Weekend's latest album "Contra" files lawsuit against the band, alleging them using her image without her consent. The woman named Ann Kirsten Kennis filed the legal paper at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, July 14.

In addition to naming Vampire Weekend, Kennis also mentions photographer Tod Brody on the document. She believes the band obtained a "photographic release" from Brody and claims it contains her forged signature. She blames the band for not bothering to verify the legitimacy of the release.

Rapper/actress Eve is single again after splitting from her Ghanaian boyfriend. The "Let Me Blow Your Mind" star embarked on a relationship with the African businessman earlier this year after ending her romance with Teodorin Nguema Obiang, the son of the president of Equatorial Guinea.

"Sex and the City 2" hunk John Corbett regrets going public about his future plans to marry longtime partner Bo Derek, because his family is now pressuring him to finally exchange vows. The unmarried star has been with the actress for eight years and recently admitted he was thinking about taking their relationship to the next level "one day".

Corbett was careful not to set a date, but the vague statement got his friends and family buzzing about a wedding. He explains, "I've had the same (phone) number for over 20 years. (I have) got people calling, 'We hear you're getting married!' It created such a big buzz in our family."

Actress Rosie Perez is recovering from a bone marrow procedure and neck surgery after suffering an injury on the set of U.S. TV crime drama "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" in 2009. Perez had fans worried when photos of the former dancer emerged online, showing her in a wheelchair and wearing a neck brace ahead of a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday, July 14.

The actress has since confirmed she is recovering from surgery to repair slipped and bulging disks suffered during a stunt on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", in which an extra was instructed to physically shake her as part of the plot. The 17 designers who will compete for the title as latest winner of "Project Runway" have been unveiled, so has the new format. The reality competition show hosted by Heidi Klum will now run half an hour longer because the show's spin-off "Models of the Runway" has been scrapped.

Klum said there are questions why one is sent home and others aren't. More behind-the-scene footage hopefully would give an answer. "For example, today we have an Elimination Day. It's going to go on four or five hours," Klum explained. "On the show it only has 10-15 minutes. So if there is a very special decision day, when the judges might not agree with one another or something really happens, now we have the freedom to show certain things much longer than we ever could before."

Country music star Charlie Louvin is hoping for "a miracle" to help him beat pancreatic cancer. The 82-year-old singer, best known as a member of the Louvin Brothers duo with his sibling Ira, had to cancel a tour which was due to kick off this month to undergo surgery as part of his fight against the disease.

Louvin is set for an operation on July 22 and he's been warned he may have to stay in hospital for up to 30 days following the procedure. The singer admits he was rocked when he was first told he only had six months to live, but now he is more hopeful and is adamant he can overcome the disease.

Two more actors have joined "X-Men: First Class". After casting James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender to take the key roles, 20th Century Fox has tapped Kevin Bacon and Jennifer Lawrence to portray other characters.

Bacon, who was previously rumored to be offered a villainous role, has agreed to take the part. However, his character's name remains unknown but sources tell Entertainment Weekly that the "Frost/Nixon" star will play a villain, sparring against protagonists Charles Xavier and Magneto.

Amy Winehouse has confirmed her long-awaited new album will be released within six months - and is packed with "jukebox"-friendly songs. The singer has not released any new material since her Grammy-winning record "Back to Black" in 2006, and has spent much of her four-year hiatus battling drink and drug demons.

Several reports suggested her planned third album had been scrapped altogether - but the "Rehab" hitmaker has now confirmed the disc will hit stores by January. Heltah Skeltah rapper Rock has been found not guilty of attempted murder over a 2008 shooting which left a man paralyzed. The hip-hop star was accused of working as a pimp at night and shooting an alleged rival in January 2008.

Rock, real name Jamal Bush, was arrested and released on $125,000 bail shortly after the shooting, but immediately protested his innocence, reports AllHipHop.com. And now he has been found not guilty, according Dru Ha, boss of Rock's record label Duck Down Records.

British boyband Take That are back together for the first time in 15 years - Robbie Williams has finally rejoined them for a new album and tour. The "Back for Good" hitmakers split up in 1996, a year after Williams left to pursue a solo career.

They got back together in 2006 for a tour - but it was only a partial reunion, as "Angels" hitmaker Williams refused to reunite with his old bandmates. But on Thursday, July 15 all five singers - Williams, Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Jason Orange - issued a statement confirming they will release a new album in November and embark on a tour.

Lindsay Lohan has voluntarily checked herself into a sober living house. TMZ reported that on Thursday afternoon, July 15, the 24-year-old beauty was spotted entering the Pickford Lofts facility in West Hollywood which is founded by Robert Saphiro, a lawyer who is now reportedly representing her.

According to the site, Lindsay's mother Dina Lohan, sister and ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson were also seen at the sober facility later that day. Lindsay's rehab decision is allegedly part of Robert's plan to either eliminate or minimize Lindsay's jail stint.

After two teaser trailers, Columbia Pictures has finally brought forward the first full trailer for "The Social Network". The opening scenes highlight the use of Facebook before the video gives away the real footage from the film. It shares the reason why the founder thinks it is necessary to create Facebook, which later tears his relationship with his own best friend.

The movie is based on Ben Mezrich's novel "The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal". It focuses on the drama behind the Harvard dorm room creation of popular social networking site Facebook by Mark Zuckerberg and his roommates. However, co-founder Eduardo Saverin fell out with Zuckerberg over money, leading him to file lawsuit against Zuckerberg.

Singer Paolo Nutini is pleading with fans to help him find a ring which he lost at a Scottish airport - and he's even offering a reward if the "good luck charm" is returned to him. The "New Shoes" hitmaker was at Glasgow airport to catch a flight to Cornwall, south-west England, on Tuesday, July 13 when he removed the heirloom from his hand in a restroom.

Nutini was devastated when he later realized he had accidentally left his great-grandfather's ring behind, and airport staff were unable to find it. The singer has now issued a public appeal for the return of the gold band - and has promised a "personal" reward for whoever locates it.

Kelly Osbourne is struggling to come to terms with her split from fiance Luke Worrall, admitting she's "not dealing" with the break-up very well. The daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne has called off her 16-month engagement and sent her model beau packing after allegedly finding out he'd cheated on her.

Mike Myers and Cameron Diaz have given fans of the "Shrek" movie franchise a glimmer of hope - hinting there may be a future for the lovable ogre after all. The fourth film in the animated series, "Shrek Forever After", hit cinemas earlier this year and was billed as 'The Final Chapter'.

But Myers and Diaz - who voice the title character and Princess Fiona respectively - are still not convinced the franchise is over for good. Myers tells Empire magazine, "We're the last people to know anything that's going on, is the absolute truth. I don't know what's to be with the series."

Another rumor put to rest, Avril Lavigne is not heading to reality show anytime soon. It was reported by In Touch Weekly that the singer is persuaded by rumored lover Brody Jenner, who has had a reality show experience himself through "The Hills", to star with him in a new one.

In Touch's insider said Brody is "determined" to increase his star meter and he plans to show America that he's dating world-class singer Avril. "Brody came up with the idea for a reality show, and he's begging Avril to do it," Avril's so-called pal said. "She's in love with him, but isn't sure about it, yet she doesn't want to tell him no."

Pamela Anderson has just unveiled her latest campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), a vegetarian ad, on Thursday, July 15. The "Baywatch" star initially planned to launch the ad in Montreal, Canada's Place Jacques-Cartier but was later forced to show it off at the privately-owned Restaurant Globe in the city.

Pamela's initial plan was scrapped after Montreal censor officials denied a permit to allow the promotion. Pamela, who flew to Montreal on Wednesday and learned about the ban on the launch date, has since released a statement about her disappointment.

Earlier this week, when Pink performed at the Easy Credit Station in Nuremberg, Germany as part of her Funhouse Summer Carnival tour, she suffered a gear malfunction. The singer fell from a harness that was supposed to suspend her above the stage, falling directly onto a steel barricade.

As Pink fell, the concert was stopped immediately and her crew rushed to rescue her and check her condition. The 30-year-old singer managed to return to the stage on her own power and apologized to the concertgoers before taken to hospital for medical treatment.

A day after it was known that Green Lantern will grace the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine, the publication has unveiled the picture. As it was promised, the photo features Ryan Reynolds in the superhero costume as he plays the titular character in "Green Lantern".

Not only sharing the first look at Reynolds in the CGI costume, but also the magazine has some pictures which introduces several characters from the movie. They include Blake Lively who plays Carol Ferris or Hal Jordan's love interest and Peter Sarsgaard who stars as villainous Hector Hammond.

Crisis averted, "Mad Men" will air as scheduled on July 25. AT&T U-Verse and owner of AMC, Rainbow Media, have resolved their problem and released a joint statement to confirm that the channel will remain under AT & T service and subscribers will be able to enjoy it in the months to come.

AT & T and Rainbow had a disagreement which was made public last week as AMC warned its viewers that the channel may go dark after July 14 when their contract expired. Rainbow accused AT & T of putting corporate needs above the customers' while AT & T said, "Rainbow channels are among the least-watched and most overpriced per viewer."

David Archuleta has unveiled working title of his upcoming studio effort. The "American Idol" alum calls it "Other Side of Down" and will release it across United States on September 14. On Twitter, he shared that "there's a few different reasons for the title" and he will explain it later on.

"Most of the songs on the album represent thoughts and experiences that I've personally gone through," he said. "I hope this album helps people understand more of where I'm coming from as an artist and as a person.
