So little time, so much to do, the remaining contestants of "The Celebrity Apprentice" will be given an overnight to complete a major task. A series of clips as the sneak peek to the May 9 episode of the reality series shows how frantic and messy the groups are in preparing for the challenge.

Deemed "the most difficult challenge yet", the task is to renovate a two-bedroom corporate apartment to increase its market value. Each team is given only one night. Forced to accept a new member, one team is divided from the very beginning and one team's project manager tries to reign in the creative impulses of one team member.

Russell Brand has confirmed a passionate scene with fiancee Katy Perry has been scrapped from his upcoming movie "Get Him to the Greek" - because it would have been too "cheesy" for viewers. The "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker filmed a cameo in the comedy before she officially began dating the funnyman in September 2009 - but their on-screen clinch has been cut from the final project.

But Brand, who proposed to Perry on New Year's Eve 2009 in India, insists it is for the best they don't share their romance with millions of movie fans. He tells MTV.com, "I've not asked (what happened to the scene) because its slightly awkward, nor have I told her. I think it might be because it would seem kind of cheesy to have her and I in the movie together."

Madonna is so focused on planning her upcoming movie "W.E.", she's abandoned her music career - because she doesn't have the "time or energy" to sing. The pop superstar is preparing to direct the drama she's co-written when shooting begins this summer and admits her latest project has completely "consumed" her working life.

She tells Interview magazine, "I've been writing it for the last two and a half years, to tell you the truth. It's been kind of an obsession of mine. I started writing it when I finished filming (2008 directorial debut) 'Filth and Wisdom'. It was actually an idea I had before that, but I made 'Filth and Wisdom' because I realized that I didn't really have a right to make a bigger film until I made a smaller film - and learned how to make a film."

Jordin Sparks is set to fulfil a lifelong dream this summer (10) - she's joining the cast of Broadway show "In the Heights". The "No Air" hitmaker, who will play college student Nina Rosario, begins her 12-week stint in the musical in August and admits she has always longed to take the New York stage.

She says, "It's always been one of my dreams to perform on Broadway. This is a brand new experience for me. I look so forward to spending time in New York City and joining this talented cast and my favorite new musical."

A spokesperson for Mary J. Blige has moved swiftly to deny reports the soul star is to divorce. The "No More Drama" hitmaker was said to have split from her husband, record industry executive Martin Kendu Isaacs, and was allegedly preparing to make their separation official.

But a representative insists speculation of a split is "not true", telling GossipCop.com the couple is "very happy" and confirming their attendance at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute's Gala together in New York City on Monday night, May 3.

Lil Wayne is facing further legal action over his song "Lollipop" - a little-known rapper claims he should have been credited for writing portions of the hit. Pennsylvania-based rapper/musician Dirahn Gilliams is convinced his track "Grindin' Like a Goon", which was distributed to record industry executives in 2007, was the inspiration for Lil Wayne's Grammy-winning single, according to a lawsuit filed on Friday, April 30.

Gilliams has named Lil Wayne, writer Rez Zamor and producers Darius 'Deezle' Harrison and Jim Jonsin in the suit, alleging they illegally used parts of his song for "Lollipop". Gilliams is demanding an injunction to block further sales of "Lollipop" and "Tha Carter III", the album it appears on, as well as monetary damages and lost profits, reports AllHipHop.com.

Jude Law showed the world he has rekindled his romance with Sienna Miller by stepping onto the red carpet with his former fiancee on Monday, May 3. The couple was spotted arm-in-arm at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in New York City, marking their first official public outing together since reuniting last year.

They stopped to pose for photographs together, smiling and wrapping their arms around one another. Miller called off their engagement in 2006 shortly after Law's alleged affair with his children's nanny was exposed in the tabloids.

20th Century Fox apparently has a big desire for Matthew Vaughn to direct "X-Men: First Class". Over the weekend it was reported that the director was in talks to helm the project which will have Bryan Singer as the producer. Shortly later, it was said that Vaughn passed on the opportunity but Deadline came out with the latest update that it happened the other way round.

Deals are actually being negotiated on Monday, May 3 between the studio and Vaughn's WMR reps. Fox reportedly canceled meetings with other directors once knowing that Vaughn would like to work on a deal. The list of potential directors ranged from Timur Bekmambetov to David Slade but it was Louis Leterrier who impressed the execs.

Actor John Clark is leading the tributes to his ex-wife Lynn Redgrave, who lost her battle with cancer at the age of 67. The "Georgy Girl" star passed away at her New York home on Sunday, May 2, marking another blow to the Redgrave acting dynasty - her brother Corin Redgrave died last month, while her niece Natasha Richardson lost her life following a skiing accident last year.

Now actor/director Clark has paid tribute to the actress, who he wed in 1967. He says, "I hope she finds peace where she is. She's back in the bosom of her family now and may she rest in peace."

Lionsgate Films has dropped a new trailer for "Killers". While the first half of the video highlights the romantic meeting between Katherine Heigl's Jen Kornfeldt and Ashton Kutcher's Spencer Aimes, the rest of the scenes show them struggling to save their lives.

The movie follows average, undercover, government-hired super-assassin Aimes who finds his true love in Kornfeldt, a beautiful, fun-loving computer tech recovering from a bad break-up. After enjoying a picture-perfect marriage for few years, Aimes and Kornfeldt learn he's the target of a multi-million dollar hit.

Soon after Britney Spears' "Telephone" demo version came out, producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins addressed the matter. He posted a series of tweets, starting "Not sure who leaked Britney Telephone. I havent heard it, im not sure its even her or the right version. I have to check it out first."

The producer continued, "Just listened and yes its the demo, not a mixed version. I will not leak a mixed version. I am respecting Britney and Jive wishes." He added, "I love all of u and I love working with Britney. God bless!"

The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 3 was packed with a number of A-listers who attended the Costume Institute Gala Benefit to celebrate the opening of the American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity. Coming separately, Emma Watson and Katy Perry coincidentally opted dresses which similarly bare their legs.

The star of "Harry Potter" film series picked a white custom-made Burberry dress. She paired it with a black high heels. Katy, meanwhile, was literally glowing on the red carpet as she put on a Cute Circuit dress which has LED lights on it. She added Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels to the glam-up look.

Gay rights leaders have heaped praise on country singer Chely Wright for having the courage to 'come out' as a lesbian. The "Shut Up and Drive" singer, 39, confirmed reports she's gay in a People magazine expose over the weekend, and now plans to celebrate her sexuality openly at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards in San Francisco on June 5.

GLAAD president Jarrett Barrios has applauded Wright for becoming the first mainstream country act to 'come out', stating, "Chely Wright offers country music fans a tremendous opportunity to better understand our community and the importance of conversations that move us toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality."

Fans of "Hannah Montana" are treated with a short clip from the new and final season. Emily Osment's Lilly Truscott announces Hannah Montana's arrival at Malibu Pier. The pop star then dedicates one song to one lucky fan. The auto-tuned song "Are You Ready?" is a new piece actually crafted for the third season.

"Hannah Montana" will end after the fourth season wraps up because Miley Cyrus wants to move on from the Disney show. The production had been kicked off in January and as of late April, the cast and crew were down to filming the last 2 episodes. Disney ordered 11 episodes plus a one-hour finale, kicking it off in July and wrapping it up around early 2011.

Madonna "cried and cried" as she watched her ex-husband Sean Penn play homosexual politician Harvey Milk in biopic "Milk" - because the film reminded her of the gay friends she has lost to AIDS. Penn won a Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California, in the 2008 biopic, and the singer admits the drama brought her to tears.

In an interview with the film's director Gus Van Sant in the new issue of Interview magazine, Madonna says, "Milk was such a brilliant film. I cried and cried. I loved it. He (Penn) is amazing... He's got a fire under his a**, that's for sure, a bee in his bonnet... I could see why he would be attracted to the role and be able to say yes in two seconds. Watching Milk was such a trip down memory lane for me."

"Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" star Jason Wahler has been sentenced to three years probation after pleading guilty to drink driving charges. The reality TV bad boy, 23, was also ordered to attend an alcohol-offender program.

Wahler was also sentenced to serve two days behind bars in court in Orange County, California on Monday, May 3, but was given credit for time already served. He was arrested in March and tests shows he was more than twice over the legal limit.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell broke down during a recent appearance on American talk show "The Oprah Winfrey Show" as her mum apologized for abandoning her as a child. Valerie Morris was in the audience for the taping of the show, which aired on Monday, May 3, and listened as her daughter tried to explain what was behind her famous temper.

And something hit home when the model explained that she felt hurt when people she trusted lied to her or stole from her - because, at that point, she felt childhood issues rising inside. Asked for her opinion, Morris brought her daughter to tears when she opened up about her parenting problems when Naomi was a little girl.

Charlie Sheen and his wife have fired back at reports they're on the verge of divorce, insisting they haven't even contemplated such a thing. The actor and Brooke Mueller have been largely estranged since a Christmas Day 2009 fight landed Sheen behind bars in Colorado.

The couple checked into separate rehab facilities earlier this year for unreleased and unrelated reasons, and when Sheen headed home recently, Mueller moved out of the estate they shared before the winter problems. But the pair's representatives insist there will be no divorce, despite stories to the contrary.

Famous Robert Pattinson is going to be highlighted in an upcoming comic book by Bluewater Comics. While the comic titled "Fame: Robert Pattinson" does not hit shelves until May 26, MTV Splash Page has been provided with the preview to the said issue.

The sneak peek includes two cover images, one of which is the new version, and six random pages out of the 32-page comic. The story itself will "trace Pattinson's career from his first performance in 'Tess of the D'Urbervilles' at London's Barnes Theatre to his star turn in the 'Twilight' movies."

Party-loving pop star Ke$ha has moved back in with her mum in Tennessee to recover from a broken heart. The "TiK ToK" singer's career has really taken off in recent months, but it cost her a romance with a guy who turned out to be no good.

Ke$ha says, "My last boyfriend smashed my heart into a million billion pieces." And she admits her next partner will have to be extra special: "I've had no father figure, and I had finally trusted a man. If I were to get involved with another guy, he'd have to be pretty much the Second Coming."

A music video directed by Matt Mahurin for Silversun Pickups' "The Royal We" has made its way out. It features headshots of the band's members with blurry scenes and bizarre images like a person with a candle as his head and empty street filled with floating roses sometimes intercepting.

The album in which "The Royal We" appears has been in stores since April 2009. Titled "Swoon", it peaked at No. 7 on Billboard Hot 200 and once reigned U.S. Top Independent Albums chart.

David Gilmour wrecked plans for a Pink Floyd reunion by refusing to take part, according to his former bandmate Roger Waters. Waters left the band in 1985 after the deterioration of his relationship with Gilmour, who split the band for good a decade later.

Pink Floyd reunited in 2005 for Live 8, a one-off charity concert to mark the 20th anniversary of Live Aid, and they were offered huge sums to repeat the feat and take the band on tour. Waters admits he was keen to play on - but Gilmour vetoed any hope of a full reunion by refusing to participate.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has accused ABC TV bosses of over-exaggerating her recent interview protest over questions about a 'blood diamond' gift from former Liberian leader Charles Taylor - to make it look worse than it was.

The Brit refused to talk about Taylor, after meeting him at a party thrown by ex-South African leader Nelson Mandela, when pressed to comment on reports she had accepted an illegal diamond from him during a heated TV interview. When the interviewer refused to change the subject, Campbell ended the TV chat and walked away from cameras.

Megan Fox has become one of the stars preparing for the production of "Transformers 3". On Sunday, May 2, the film beauty was photographed hitting the set of the film in Los Angeles for previz shots or visualizing scenes before the shooting begins.

Following his live performance at World Championship Boxing Match, Chris Brown received harsh criticism from people who claimed he promoted violent game during his probation after assaulting his ex-grilfriend Rihanna. In response to that matter, the R&B performer took it to his Twitter to share his insight.

"thx for all the support from my fans...," he began his post. "Im human. how many of u r perfect???????? if there is no forgiveness, there is no change... im humbled by everything..." In another message, he stated that despite all the backlashes against him, he won't give up. Sade have a new music video coming out. Debuted to support their latest single "Babyfather", it features frontwoman Sade Adu as a homemaker who is doing daily chores from cooking to washing dishes to doing the laundry.

"Babyfather" is one of the singles appearing in Sade's comeback album "Soldier of Love". The music video which sees people wearing bright-colored outfit is directed by Sophie Muller who also took picture for the single's cover art.

Jude Law, Liev Schreiber, Alfred Molina and Christopher Walken will battle it out for the best actor prize at this year's Drama Desk theatre awards. The Hollywood stars have landed nominations in the Outstanding Actor in a Play category - Law for his role in "Hamlet", Schreiber for "A View from the Bridge", Molina for "Red" and Walken for "A Behanding in Spokane".

They'll go up against Molina's "Red" co-star Eddie Redmayne and "The Emperor Jones" star John Douglas Thompson, according to nominations announced in New York on Monday, May 3.

The first still from Robert Pattinson-starring movie "Bel Ami" has made its way out via Production Pictures and it teases people with a raunchy scene. The image captures the British actor standing close behind lead female Uma Thurman who is seen enjoying their intimate moment.

In "Bel Ami", Pattinson plays Georges Duroy, a man who rises to the top by manipulating a series of powerful and wealthy mistresses. Thurman, meanwhile, will be Madeleine Forestier who is extremely involved and connected in the goings-on of Parisian society before later becomes Duroy's wife.

Michael Jackson's father Joe Jackson has lashed out at the pop star's former dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein for alleging his son was gay. Klein's office manager Jason Pfeiffer appeared on U.S. TV news programme Extra last week, claiming he had a sexual relationship with the late "Thriller" hitmaker.

Klein echoed the allegations, telling TMZ.com Pfeiffer was "the love of his (Jackson's) life". He also recalled walking in on the two men with their shirts off. Klein admits he and Pfeiffer have been the target of "horrible death threats" since going public with the claims, which Joe Jackson calls "not true".

Jessica Biel is set to test her physical limits once again following her exhausting trek up Mount Kilimanjaro - she wants to climb the world's highest peak, Mount Everest.

The actress trekked to the top of Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, in January. She was joined by actor Emile Hirsch and members of the United Nation Foundation, to raise awareness and funds for the global water crisis.

Colombian pop star Shakira is the most popular Latin musician in the world, according to a new survey. The hip-shaking beauty currently tops download charts in more than 35 countries and leads a list of the most successful Latin American stars, compiled by Nokia's Ovi Music.

Trailing Shakira in the survey - based on global downloads - are Thalia, Chayanne and Mariah Carey's ex Luis Miguel.

In a press release, Randy Jackson announced the launch of his new dance label called DreamMerchant21. The first artist signed to the recording company is Kimberley Locke, the former contestant of "American Idol" season 2.

The label was launched to "serve all facets of the dance community as he sees the genre of dance at the forefront of today's music trends." Randy said, "I feel compelled with the music that I am hearing in 2010 to start this kind of label. I want to make a difference within this genre and bring good energy and great music to all!"

Being middle-aged woman does not prevent Madonna from flaunting her body. In the upcoming issue for Interview magazine, the 51-year-old singer shows off her skin by donning a black revealing lingerie in one of the photos.

Less than three weeks into "The End", the script of "Lost" series finale practically becomes a valuable item. An Italian site by the name of Macchianera has claimed they acquire several pages to the script which is supposed to be confidential. While its authenticity is still arguable, DarkUFO which has been keeping track of the series, said the script is accurate.

Based on the writing, it's known that [Spoiler Alert!] Ben is back on Smokey's side and thus holds Sawyer at gunpoint when he tries to knock out Smokey. However, Smokey has given up the idea of leaving the island with the Candidates and instead prefers to destroy the island. In order to accomplish this, he'll need the assistance of Desmond who is no longer down the well after being rescued by Benard and Rose.

American rockers The Used have canceled all of their upcoming European tour dates after parting ways with their management team. The band was due to play a series of shows across the continent, including an appearance at Britain's Download festival in June, as well as shows in Russia.

But the musicians have scrapped all their gigs to focus on restructuring their team of representatives after splitting from their longtime managers. A statement from the band, given to Metal Hammer, reads, "It is with great regret that we have been forced to cancel our upcoming appearances in Europe, U.K. and Russia, due to unforeseen circumstances resulting in a parting of ways with our management team."

Country star Chely Wright has confirmed she's a lesbian after days of speculation surrounding her sexuality. American news sources recently reported the singer was preparing to rock the world of country music by becoming the genre's first openly gay star.

Wright has now confirmed the rumours, announcing the news in U.S. magazine People and insisting she felt pressured to keep her sexuality a secret after launching her career in 1994. She tells the publication, "There had never, ever been a country music artist who had acknowledged his or her homosexuality. I wasn't going to be the first."

Amanda Seyfried grew up terrified of intimacy - because her "small-town" mentality made her think sex was "dirty and disgusting". The 24-year-old "Mamma Mia!" star hails from a small community in Pennsylvania, where she grew up believing that being sexually active was wrong.

And the actress reveals she didn't begin to adopt a more liberal attitude until she moved to the big cities of New York and Los Angeles. She tells Britain's Stella magazine, "We have to be open-minded. Yahoo! Movies has got its hand on the first trailer for "The American". Starring George Clooney as an assassin named Jack, the film follows him in his last duty which does not go simply as it is predicted. Despite picking up the professional killer as the major character, the film will likely not feature a lot of actions since it focuses on his personal conflict.

After a job in Sweden ends more harshly than expected for this American abroad, master craftsman Jack decides his next assignment will be his last. He hides out in Italy where his job, as specified by Belgian woman Mathilde, is in the offing as a weapon is constructed.

Michael Jackson's creepy "Thriller" video has been voted the most influential promo in the history of pop music. The 14-minute clip for the singer's hit 1983 track, long credited with merging music with filmmaking, scored 15.2 per cent of the votes in the poll, conducted by social networking site MySpace.com.

"Thriller" saw off competition from OK Go's homemade video for their song "Here It Goes Again", which became a viral hit in 2006 as fans logged online to see the group dancing on treadmills. Britney Spears' music video for her debut single "...Baby One More Time" was voted third, while a-ha's "Take on Me" and Johnny Cash's "Hurt" rounded out the top five.

Phil Collins has warned he will stop releasing albums - because he's tired of critics attacking his music. The former Genesis star had to stop playing his beloved drums in 2009 because years of beatmaking had left him with agonizing back pain.

He is preparing to return to the spotlight with a new album of Motown classics, but insists he may retire from the public eye altogether - to stop industry experts criticizing his records. He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "All my life I've put out music and people have criticized it. Why keep doing that? I don't need the money. In the future I think I'll write songs in my basement and never play for anybody."

Country stars Dierks Bentley and Alison Krauss both canceled gigs in Tennessee over the weekend after severe flooding in the state caused power cuts and road closures. The region has been battered by thunderstorms over the last few days, and the heavy rain has played havoc with local electrical grids, leaving many areas without power. Roads were also cordoned off as the water levels rose.

And the chaos prevented Bentley from traveling to two shows - he canceled a gig in Knoxville, Tennessee on Sunday, May 2 and a stop in Charlottesville, Virginia on Monday, May 3. He explained the decision to ax the gigs in a statement, which reads, "For the safety of my band, crew and their families back here in Nashville, we are parking the buses and not going to try and attempt the trip east to Knoxville and Charlottesville. As much as we'd love to be playing music tonight, it feels like the right thing to do."

Michael Douglas has praised the judge overseeing his son's court case for handing Cameron Douglas a five-year prison sentence - calling the punishment "adequate". The 31 year old faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to one count of methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and one count of possession of cocaine in January.

Douglas, along with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and his father Kirk, wrote letters to Federal Judge Richard Berman, urging him to be lenient. Their pleas appeared to have been answered when Cameron was handed a five-year sentence last month, and Douglas is convinced Judge Berman made the right decision.

Another update about Bret Michaels' condition has been explained by his sister. Speaking on The Todd and N Tyler Radio Empire show on Monday morning, May 3, Michelle informs that she last spoke to her brother on Saturday, May 1 and he has shown positive progress.

"He's up and moving," she states as quoted by Radar Online. Michelle says Bret's speech is not slurred anymore and he tells her, "I just want to get out of here." Michelle then adds, "He's so happy that everybody is pulling for him."

Almost everybody thinks "Chuck" is crazy after he gets a strange dream and knocks a man out of his tooth. Chuck struggles with disturbing dreams and now he believes his most recent dream predicts danger for a visiting head of state.

General Beckman, however, is unconvinced and assigns Chuck to meet with a CIA psychiatrist Dr. Leo Dreyfus. Meanwhile, Ellie gets surprising news and Anna returns to the Buy More to talk to Morgan. "Chuck Versus the Tooth" airs May 10.

"My First Kiss" which is a brand new song from 3OH!3 has just emerged for fans' listening pleasure. The fresh material has duo Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte joining forces with Ke$ha once again.

3OH!3 previously collaborated with Ke$ha in "Blah Blah Blah". While "Blah Blah" appears in Ke$ha's debut album "Animal", the "First Kiss" is expected to be included in the band's upcoming third studio album "Streets of Gold" which is due in the U.S. on June 29.

Those curious where J.J. Abrams would go from "Lost" now get the answer as NBC has officially announced the producer's new project. Abrams' Bad Robot production is financing "Undercovers", a sexy, fun, action-packed spy drama that proves once and for all that marriage is still the world's most dangerous partnership.

"Undercovers" is thus the first scripted series picked up by NBC for its 2010-11 season. Another public figure is tangled in affair scandal. David Boreanaz, who was reported in late 2009 to have cheated on Jaime Bergman while she was pregnant, has opened up about his infidelity. Speaking to People, he confesses that he was unfaithful to his wife, claiming "Our marriage has been tainted with my infidelities. I just want to be open and honest. I was irresponsible."

The actor decides to come forward with the issue because a former mistress, whose name is not mentioned, contacted an attorney and wanted to contact media outlets. "I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with. She asked for money," David claims. "I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion."

Three pictures taken from video shoot of Miley Cyrus' "Can't Be Tamed" have been out for sneak peek. One of the images has her wearing black shredded jumpsuit, another photo features her lying as a peacock queen with eyes closed, and the other sees her standing inside a huge cage with a number of dancers surrounding her.

The song is the lead single from Miley Cyrus' album of the same title "Can't Be Tamed". The music video is directed by Robert Hales and reportedly will be "a departure from the light and bubbly videos of her past."

The acting world's Redgrave family have been hit by another tragedy - Lynn Redgrave has died, aged 67. The Oscar-nominated "Georgy Girl" star's death comes 14 months after her niece Natasha Richardson lost her life following a skiing accident and a month after brother Corin passed away.

Redgrave died on Sunday night, May 2 at her home in New York. Recent tabloid reports suggested the revered British thespian was losing her seven-year battle with breast cancer and shocked friends when she arrived at brother Corin's funeral in London in a wheelchair.
