'Celebrity Apprentice' Clips: Teammates Cyndi and Holly Feud

So little time, so much to do, the remaining contestants of "The Celebrity Apprentice" will be given an overnight to complete a major task. A series of clips as the sneak peek to the May 9 episode of the reality series shows how frantic and messy the groups are in preparing for the challenge.

Deemed "the most difficult challenge yet", the task is to renovate a two-bedroom corporate apartment to increase its market value. Each team is given only one night. Forced to accept a new member, one team is divided from the very beginning and one team's project manager tries to reign in the creative impulses of one team member.

Russell Brand has confirmed a passionate scene with fiancee Katy Perry has been scrapped from his upcoming movie "Get Him to the Greek" - because it would have been too "cheesy" for viewers. The "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker filmed a cameo in the comedy before she officially began dating the funnyman in September 2009 - but their on-screen clinch has been cut from the final project.

But Brand, who proposed to Perry on New Year's Eve 2009 in India, insists it is for the best they don't share their romance with millions of movie fans. He tells MTV.com, "I've not asked (what happened to the scene) because its slightly awkward, nor have I told her. I think it might be because it would seem kind of cheesy to have her and I in the movie together."

Madonna is so focused on planning her upcoming movie "W.E.", she's abandoned her music career - because she doesn't have the "time or energy" to sing. The pop superstar is preparing to direct the drama she's co-written when shooting begins this summer and admits her latest project has completely "consumed" her working life.

She tells Interview magazine, "I've been writing it for the last two and a half years, to tell you the truth. It's been kind of an obsession of mine. I started writing it when I finished filming (2008 directorial debut) 'Filth and Wisdom'. It was actually an idea I had before that, but I made 'Filth and Wisdom' because I realized that I didn't really have a right to make a bigger film until I made a smaller film - and learned how to make a film."

Lil Wayne Sued for Alleged Copyright Infringement Over 'Lollipop'

Lil Wayne is facing further legal action over his song "Lollipop" - a little-known rapper claims he should have been credited for writing portions of the hit. Pennsylvania-based rapper/musician Dirahn Gilliams is convinced his track "Grindin' Like a Goon", which was distributed to record industry executives in 2007, was the inspiration for Lil Wayne's Grammy-winning single, according to a lawsuit filed on Friday, April 30.

Gilliams has named Lil Wayne, writer Rez Zamor and producers Darius 'Deezle' Harrison and Jim Jonsin in the suit, alleging they illegally used parts of his song for "Lollipop". Gilliams is demanding an injunction to block further sales of "Lollipop" and "Tha Carter III", the album it appears on, as well as monetary damages and lost profits, reports AllHipHop.com.

20th Century Fox apparently has a big desire for Matthew Vaughn to direct "X-Men: First Class". Over the weekend it was reported that the director was in talks to helm the project which will have Bryan Singer as the producer. Shortly later, it was said that Vaughn passed on the opportunity but Deadline came out with the latest update that it happened the other way round.

Deals are actually being negotiated on Monday, May 3 between the studio and Vaughn's WMR reps. Fox reportedly canceled meetings with other directors once knowing that Vaughn would like to work on a deal. The list of potential directors ranged from Timur Bekmambetov to David Slade but it was Louis Leterrier who impressed the execs.

Jason Wahler Pleads Guilty to Driving Under Influence

"Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" star Jason Wahler has been sentenced to three years probation after pleading guilty to drink driving charges. The reality TV bad boy, 23, was also ordered to attend an alcohol-offender program.

Wahler was also sentenced to serve two days behind bars in court in Orange County, California on Monday, May 3, but was given credit for time already served. He was arrested in March and tests shows he was more than twice over the legal limit.

David Gilmour wrecked plans for a Pink Floyd reunion by refusing to take part, according to his former bandmate Roger Waters. Waters left the band in 1985 after the deterioration of his relationship with Gilmour, who split the band for good a decade later.

Pink Floyd reunited in 2005 for Live 8, a one-off charity concert to mark the 20th anniversary of Live Aid, and they were offered huge sums to repeat the feat and take the band on tour. Waters admits he was keen to play on - but Gilmour vetoed any hope of a full reunion by refusing to participate.

American rockers The Used have canceled all of their upcoming European tour dates after parting ways with their management team. The band was due to play a series of shows across the continent, including an appearance at Britain's Download festival in June, as well as shows in Russia.

Starring George Clooney as an assassin named Jack, the film follows him in his last duty which does not go simply as it is predicted. Despite picking up the professional killer as the major character, the film will likely not feature a lot of actions since it focuses on his personal conflict.

After a job in Sweden ends more harshly than expected for this American abroad, master craftsman Jack decides his next assignment will be his last. He hides out in Italy where his job, as specified by Belgian woman Mathilde, is in the offing as a weapon is constructed.

Michael Jackson's creepy "Thriller" video has been voted the most influential promo in the history of pop music. The 14-minute clip for the singer's hit 1983 track, long credited with merging music with filmmaking, scored 15.2 per cent of the votes in the poll, conducted by social networking site MySpace.com.

"Thriller" saw off competition from OK Go's homemade video for their song "Here It Goes Again", which became a viral hit in 2006 as fans logged online to see the group dancing on treadmills. Britney Spears' music video for her debut single "...Baby One More Time" was voted third, while a-ha's "Take on Me" and Johnny Cash's "Hurt" rounded out the top five.

Phil Collins has warned he will stop releasing albums - because he's tired of critics attacking his music. The former Genesis star had to stop playing his beloved drums in 2009 because years of beatmaking had left him with agonizing back pain.

He is preparing to return to the spotlight with a new album of Motown classics, but insists he may retire from the public eye altogether - to stop industry experts criticizing his records. He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "All my life I've put out music and people have criticized it. Why keep doing that? I don't need the money. In the future I think I'll write songs in my basement and never play for anybody."

Dierks Bentley and Alison Krauss Called Off Concert Due to Flood Chaos

Country stars Dierks Bentley and Alison Krauss both canceled gigs in Tennessee over the weekend after severe flooding in the state caused power cuts and road closures. The region has been battered by thunderstorms over the last few days, and the heavy rain has played havoc with local electrical grids, leaving many areas without power. Roads were also cordoned off as the water levels rose.

And the chaos prevented Bentley from traveling to two shows - he canceled a gig in Knoxville, Tennessee on Sunday, May 2 and a stop in Charlottesville, Virginia on Monday, May 3. He explained the decision to ax the gigs in a statement, which reads, "For the safety of my band, crew and their families back here in Nashville, we are parking the buses and not going to try and attempt the trip east to Knoxville and Charlottesville. As much as we'd love to be playing music tonight, it feels like the right thing to do."

Michael Douglas: Cameron's Five-Year Prison Sentence Is 'Adequate'

Michael Douglas has praised the judge overseeing his son's court case for handing Cameron Douglas a five-year prison sentence - calling the punishment "adequate". The 31 year old faced a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years behind bars after he pleaded guilty to one count of methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance and one count of possession of cocaine in January.

Douglas, along with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and his father Kirk, wrote letters to Federal Judge Richard Berman, urging him to be lenient. Their pleas appeared to have been answered when Cameron was handed a five-year sentence last month, and Douglas is convinced Judge Berman made the right decision.

The acting world's Redgrave family have been hit by another tragedy - Lynn Redgrave has died, aged 67. The Oscar-nominated "Georgy Girl" star's death comes 14 months after her niece Natasha Richardson lost her life following a skiing accident and a month after brother Corin passed away.

Redgrave died on Sunday night, May 2 at her home in New York. Recent tabloid reports suggested the revered British thespian was losing her seven-year battle with breast cancer and shocked friends when she arrived at brother Corin's funeral in London in a wheelchair.
