Exclusive Interview: Kevin Rudolf Embracing Dance Music in 'To the Sky'

Kevin Rudolf is currently working on his new album "To the Sky". In an exclusive interview with AceShowbiz, the rapper/producer talked about what he has to offer in this upcoming release and the challenge of finishing it midst the many collaborations he has taken, including producing and writing for such artists as Leona Lewis, Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen.

Stating that he has "total freedom" to do whatever he wants, the "Welcome to the World" hitmaker says he has some dance music for the album which is due for May 25 U.S. release. "I embraced it [dance music]," he said. "I have stuff in the album. A lot of it, it's like most of it up-tempo, most of it electropop rock hip-hop stuff, so I'm totaling going with it."

Lindsay Lohan Still a Porn Star But in Different Movie

Although it was denied during the weekend that Lindsay Lohan will portray Linda Lovelace in Rob Epstein's "Lovelace", it doesn't mean Lohan will drop the role. Gossip Cop reported that the actress is still attached to the character but the movie will be "Inferno", not "Lovelace".

This other version of Linda Lovelace biopic is directed by Matthew Wilder and produced by Chris Hanley. Back in 2008, Anna Faris had been tapped to play the central character but she dropped out because the character is too dramatic and heavy for her at then stage. Months later, Rose McGowan stepped in as a candidate because she was touched by Lovelace's tragic life but there was no further word about this.

Tobey Maguire, who appeared with messy hair, brought his family and so did Jason Bateman. An insider said Bateman's 3-year-old daughter Fransesca is a friend of Garner's daughter Violet, so they played together in Violet's room.

Some people are not ready to let go of Jesse James and Tiger Woods' affair scandal. It has just been reported by TMZ that Bobby Goldstein aka the man behind "Cheaters" has approached James' Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and Woods' alleged mistress Jamie Jungers to front a new reality show called "Celebrity Cheaters".

The show is about celebrities who cheat on their spouses, catching "celebrity cheaters with their pants down." Not yet finding home, the show is being shopped around. Reportedly, McGee and Jungers have already agreed to do it although nothing has been signed.

Usher Tops U.K. Singles Chart

Usher has landed the number one spot on the U.K. singles chart with "OMG", his collaboration with Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am. The "Yeah!" hitmaker climbed up one place to take the top spot in the rundown, pushing Scouting for Girls' "This Ain't a Love Song" in to second.

Professor Green claimed third with "I Need You Tonight", Plan B's "She Said" debuted at number four and Kelis' "Acapella" rounded out the top five. Meanwhile in the British album chart, Plan B entered at number one with "The Defamation of Strickland Banks", Scouting for Girls took the number two spot with "Everybody Wants to Be on TV" and Lady GaGa's Fame was at number three.

Alan Wilder Eying Full Time Reunion With Depeche Mode

Former Depeche Mode keyboardist Alan Wilder is eying a full time reunion with the group after the success of a one-off show earlier this year. The musician performed with the band at the Teenage Cancer Trust charity show at London's Royal Albert Hall in February - 14 years after quitting the group.

And Wilder has received so many compliments since rejoining the trio at the gig, he's hinted he be playing more music with the electronic act. He says, "It was nice to see the lads again. I've had a lot of good feedback. It was a really good day. It felt really important for me. Going back on stage was like I'd never been away. It was all there as I remembered it, the whole circus. I wouldn't rule it out happening again in the future."

A black and white music video for Lil Wayne's song "I'm Single" has been premiered Sunday, April 18 on MTV2's "Sucker Free Countdown". In the DJ Scoob Doo-directed clip, the rapper who is currently being locked behind the bars declares his single status.

"[Wayne's girl was mad that] he didn't make it home in time," Scoob told MTV about the storyline. "He stayed out all night. That's the idea I got with the song - it brought me back to watching the film 'A Thin Line Between Love and Hate'."

'Green Lantern' Fighter Jet Unveiled

More pictures from the production of "Green Lantern" have surfaced and this time they are taken from hangars at Lakefront Airport in northern New Orleans, Louisiana. In the photos obtained by a contributor for Comic Book Movie, a jet fighter that will used for the filming is seen landed at one of the hangars.

The plane, which is dominated with white and blue colors, features Ferris Aircraft logo in a particular spot. The 'experimental' YF-32 jet that will be piloted by Martin Jordan, Hal Jordan's father, will be used for a pivotal scene in the movie and will cause the demise of the character played by Jon Tenney. Photos of the fighter jet can be seen at Comic Book Movie.

Malik Yoba Brings Back 'New York Undercover'

Actor Malik Yoba has set out to reprise his detective role in U.S. crime series "New York Undercover" in a modern remake of the 1990s show. The "Why Did I Get Married Too?" star's career kicked off with his co-starring role as Detective J.C. Williams on the hit police drama, which ran from 1994 to 1998.

And he's partnered with "Law & Order" writer Courtney Parker to bring the series back to the small screen. He says, "The show has been in syndication since '98. A few weeks ago, a writer named Courtney Parker... sent me a pilot script that she wrote. I can't give up too much information but what she wrote was incredible."

Wrestler Bill Goldberg got fired during this week's task to give a makeover to aspiring country singers. The objectives were to create a press kit for the singers and to give a makeover as well as media training. Rocksolid happened to be responsible in revamping Luke Bryan while Tenacity took in Emily West. The executives liked the men's press kit better bur preferred Emily's performance better.

'Dragon' and 'Kick-Ass' Have a Duel at Box Office

"How to Train Your Dragon" has once again soared high at North American Box Office. After furnishing the champion title to "Clash of the Titans" for two straight weeks, the animated movie manages to return to the top spot this weekend.

The DreamWorks' flick actually does not collect bigger revenue than last week and drops about 19.6% in ticket sales, according to studio estimates. But with an approximately $20 million, "How to Train Your Dragon" can lock the coveted place since "Clash of the Titans" only gains $15.8 million or 40.8% less than last week gross. The Sam Worthington-starring epic now drops to the fifth.

From New York City, GLAAD Awards moved to Los Angeles to announce the second wave of winners. Held on Saturday, April 17 at Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, the event revealed additional winners including "Glee" which has three openly-out people behind it.

With Outstanding Comedy Series statuette in hand, creator Ryan Murphy tipped his hat to stars Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer. He said about the latter, "We have so much love for our own Chris Colfer, who at age 19 when the media came calling, Chris was true to who he is instead of waiting to announce (that he's gay) at 40 when it doesn't matter. This show is about arts education and inclusion, and we are using the show in a great way."

The 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards has been kicked off on Sunday, April 18 and is marked with the arrival of a number of celebrities. Taylor Swift, who received multiple nominations at the show, graces the orange carpet with her wisteria chiffon embroidered draped Marchesa gown.

Arriving in brighter-colored dress is Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum. The singer who is joined by other two members of her band, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, wears a one-shouldered pink dress. Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood opts to appear with simpler style by wearing a peach one-ruffled-shouldered, mini dress, which features an embellished side halter and belt.
