Bieber is glad hip-hop's finest are fans of his pop sound - and he's adamant they are keen to work with him because he didn't follow the same route to fame as many other teen artists. He tells MTV.com, "I like hop-hop a lot. I'm really glad they've taken a liking to me. Having Luda and having Lil Wayne give me shout me out on UStream, you know - it's cool."

Lil Wayne's rap protegee Nicki Minaj is "disappointed" she had to drop plans to tour with Rihanna - because she was "thrilled" to be invited to join the "Umbrella" hitmaker on the road.

Minaj was announced as one of the support acts to open for Rihanna at her U.S. concerts this summer, but she pulled out of the jaunt the day after the dates were released because she wanted to focus on her debut solo album. But Minaj is hoping she will get the chance to perform alongside the "Umbrella" hitmaker in the future, insisting she's a huge fan of the Bajan beauty.

Fans of Marilyn Monroe will be able to bid for an intimate snap of the Hollywood icon at an upcoming auction - an X-ray of the star's chest is set to go under the hammer. The medical photograph was taken at a Florida hospital in 1954 when the Some Like It Hot actress was being treated for womb condition endometriosis.

The X-ray, which shows the star's ribs as well as the outline of her famed cleavage, was printed with her married name DiMaggio - at the time she was going through a divorce from baseball legend Joe DiMaggio.

Rapper Nas has been ordered to pay more than $290,000 (193,000 pounds) in backdated support payments and legal bills to ex-wife Kelis. In January, the "Milkshake" hitmaker asked a judge to summon her former partner to court, alleging the hip-hop star had failed to keep up with spousal support payments and child support for their son, Knight.

In court papers, Kelis' legal team claimed the rapper had fallen behind by $56,911 (35,570 pounds). Nas was ordered to Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, April 12, and the judge presiding over the case ruled the star must hand over an immediate payment of $47,249 (31,499 pounds) in backdated child support and $40,454 (26,969 pounds) in spousal support.

A representative for Heather Locklear has dismissed reports the actress has split from boyfriend Jack Wagner. Rocker Bret Michaels is recovering in hospital after undergoing emergency surgery to remove his appendix. The Poison frontman was struck down with severe abdominal pain on Sunday night, April 11 before he was set to take to the stage for a concert in San Antonio, Texas.

Doctors diagnosed him with acute appendicitis and ordered him to scrap the gig. He was then rushed into the operating room for an emergency appendectomy. A statement on Michaels' official website says, "(Michaels) remains in the hospital, is doing well and beginning the recovery process."

Paris Hilton has denied she's split from boyfriend Doug Reinhardt - dismissing the rumor as "a ridiculous lie". The socialite was spotted enjoying a night out in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 11 with her sister Nicky Hilton and Kim Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, footballer Reggie Bush.

According to reports, Hilton was in Sin City with her family after splitting from her boyfriend of 14 months, while Reinhardt had fled to Aspen, Colorado with his father. A source told E! Online, "Obviously she broke up with him."

Pamela Anderson's financial woes are continuing - the "Baywatch" beauty allegedly owes almost $500,000 (333,000 pounds) in unpaid taxes to the state of California. The star has been dogged by reports she's facing bankruptcy after allegations emerged last year that she owes $1 million (666,000 pounds) in unpaid taxes and construction bills.

Now, Anderson is being chased by officials at the California Franchise Tax Board, who claim the actress owes them $493,000 (329,000 pounds) in income tax payments. A tax lien was filed against Anderson in April 2009, and she has appeared on an annual list of taxpayers who have allegedly failed to pay up.

The founding members of cult rockers Taking Back Sunday are planning a reunion just weeks after two current members of the band quit. Bassist Matt Rubano and guitarist Matt Fazzi announced their departure from the band on March 29 and now frontman Adam Lazzara is working on "a crazy idea" to reunite the group's original recording line-up for the first time in seven years.

Lazzara tells Billboard.com he's considering reteaming with guitarist John Nolan and bassist Shaun Cooper after a phone chat with Nolan in January. He says, "It was almost like no time had passed between us... There's something to be said for that feeling. I generally missed his friendship."

N-Dubz star Tula 'Tulisa' Contostavlos has dismissed reports her bandmate Dappy was threatened with a knife during a nightclub bust-up at the weekend. British tabloid reports suggested the U.K. trio had been partying at the Coliseum club in Manchester, England on Saturday April 10 when a fight broke out on the dancefloor.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, a gang member brandished a knife at rapper Dappy, forcing the group's security men to escort the pop stars out of the venue. But singer Tulisa insists the accounts of the bust-up have been exaggerated.

Clifton Collins Jr. has joined the list of stars who dish on an untitled Star Trek sequel. In an exclusive interview with AceShowbiz, the actor who plays Ayel, the first officer of villain Nero, claimed he will return to the forthcoming movie.

"Yes, absolutely 100%," he said when asked if it is possible that his character or his Romulan leader, Nero, will be seen in the follow-up to "Star Trek". Urging producer J.J. Abrams to use him again for the sequel, he told ASB, "Now please go and tell JJ!"

The joint track between B.o.B and Hayley Williams has been unleashed. Titled "Airplanes", it is confirmed to be one of the new materials in the rapper's first studio album "B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray" which is due in the U.S. on April 27.

"I was given the track a while ago while we were on tour. The guys and I all loved it. They told me I was crazy if I passed it up," the frontwoman of Paramore said of her involvement in the Hip-Hop tune. "I liked the part too much anyways, so of course I was down."

The trustees of Michael Jackson's estate have started getting tough with the creditors demanding cash from the late King of Pop - they've rejected seven claims, including one for $300 million. Jackson estate lawyer Howard Weitzman has filed legal papers rejecting Allgood Entertainment's claim over a Jackson family concert that was scrapped when the pop superstar signed up for 50 London concerts, which were due to start weeks after he died last summer.

Also losing out are Jose Freddie Vallejos, an angry Los Angeles citizen who demanded Jackson pay for his own memorial and Nona Paris Lola Ankhesenamun Jackson, who claimed to have been married to the King of Pop. Memorabilia collector Richard Lapointe has also had his claim against the estate rejected - he demanded $5 million after placing the highest bids on 170 items at a Jackson auction, which was scrapped over ownership issues.

"Army Wives" officially kicked off the fourth season on Sunday, April 11 and the preview for the next episode is available. In "Scars and Stripes" that airs April 18, the five best friends are back but so is their worst enemy, Lenore Baker (guest star Rhoda Griffis).

A look at Mark Wahlberg as a boxer has been shared in some new pictures from "The Fighter". Making their way out via Rogue Movies, most of the photos capture Wahlberg on the ring. At one point, he is seen joined by Christian Bale. Wahlberg's battered face after a game is also previewed in a photo which also features Jack McGee, Melissa Leo and Bale.

The film revolves around the life of professional Irish boxer "Irish" Micky Ward (Wahlberg) and his trainer-brother Dick Eklund (Bale). It will chronicle their early days on the rough streets of Lowell, Mass., through Eklund's battle with drugs and Ward's eventual world championship in London.

David Duchovny refused to kiss Demi Moore on the set of the pair's new movie "The Joneses" - because the Hollywood beauty had a raging cold. The former "The X-Files" star protested when it came time for the couple to lock lips.

Rihanna has added her name to music's biggest show of girl power - she'll be part of this summer's Lilith Fair festival tour. The R&B star will make a special appearance at Lilith's Salt Lake City concert in Utah on July 12.

The 36-city tour will commence in Calgary, Canada on June 27 and feature acts including Lilith Fair co-founder Sarah McLachlan, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Beth Orton, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige and Sheryl Crow.

Close relationship between Tony Stark and Pepper Potts in "Iron Man 2" is further teased through a fresh featurette. Released by ET Online, the video shows many new footage as well as behind the scenes of the shooting which feature Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Bosses at the BBC have received a stern warning from decency watchdogs after radio producers failed to stop heavy rockers Rage Against the Machine swearing during a live performance. Officials at Britain's broadcasting standards organization Ofcom received a string of complaints after the band appeared on BBC 5 Live's breakfast show in December 2009 to promote their controversial 1992 hit "Killing in the Name", which was re-released last year.

R&B star Jaheim is facing charges of speeding and drug possession after he was pulled over by police in New Jersey at the end of last month. The "Just In Case" hitmaker, real name Jaheim Hoagland, was stopped by Hillsborough cops on March 28 after they spotted him driving over the local 30 miles-per-hour (48 kilometres-per-hour) speed limit.

But he found himself in even bigger trouble when officers approached his car and smelled marijuana fumes. During a search of the vehicle, cops found a bud of marijuana underneath the driver's seat, cigar wrappers and cigar paper, which is consistent with marijuana use.

Socialite Brandon Davis has fired back at criticism he received for poking fun at ex-girlfriend Mischa Barton's weight woes via Twitter.com, insisting the comments were not his. Vanessa Redgrave was joined by British theater legends Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Trevor Nunn as she bid farewell to her actor brother Corin Redgrave at his funeral in London on Monday, April 12. The British thespian, best known for his stage roles and his turn as Andie MacDowell's Scottish husband in "Four Weddings And a Funeral", died last week at the age of 70.

Another sneak peek to "A Nightmare on Elm Street" has been provided in a form of brand new TV spot. Opened with a preview of the film's characters who try hard to stay awake, the video then jumps to capture scenes in which the teenagers are haunted by Freddy Krueger through their dreams.

In "A Nightmare on Elm Street", a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 film with the same title, horribly disfigured killer Freddy returns to hunt suburban teenagers, including Nancy Thompson and her boyfriend Quentin, and kill them through their dreams. Trying to stay away from death, they struggle not to fall asleep.

Director David Lynch is in talks to revive his movie classic "Mulholland Drive" for a sequel, according to the film's star Laura Harring. The film propelled Naomi Watts to fame upon its release in 2001, while also earning Lynch the coveted Prix de la Mise en Scene award at the Cannes Film Festival in France and an Oscar nomination for Best Director.

Now, nine years after the movie's release, Harring has revealed the filmmaker is planning to revive the mysterious thriller on the big screen. She tells NBC.com, "I'm very sure it's coming, it's being born. I cannot really tell you how I know."

Dame Elizabeth Taylor has dismissed reports she is engaged to wed for a ninth time - insisting the rumors "simply aren't true". Reports over the weekend suggested the 78-year-old movie icon and her longtime companion Jason Winters, 49, recently became engaged, but, in a message on her Twitter page posted on Monday, April 12, the Hollywood legend denies claims she's set to wed again.

She writes: "The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren't true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart."

As the clock counts down on the highly-anticipated return of "Glee", FOX releases one more promo that reminds people why this return is worth the time. The five reasons are "Madonna", "Sue Sylvester", "Great Guest Stars", "Huge Musical Numbers" and "Crazy Plot Twist".

Bullet for My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck is a first-time father - his wife has given birth to a baby boy. The singer's longtime partner Charlotte welcomed the couple's first child, Evann, on March 25.

R&B singer Bobby Brown is heading to court in a bid to lower his child support payments after struggling for years to keep up with his installments. Whitney Houston's ex-husband was jailed for four days in 2007 for skipping payments to Kim Ward, the mother of two of his teenage children.

Eliza Dushku is celebrating after successfully completing a charity triathlon event in Miami, Florida. The actress and her boyfriend, former basketball star Rick Fox, competed in the Nautica South Beach Triathlon on Sunday, April 11 to raise money for the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Conan O'Brien's destination is found. Less than three months after he wrapped up his "Tonight Show" on NBC, the host announced that he's moving to basic cable instead of major network. O'Brien has struck a deal to have a talk show airing on TBS this November, two months after his contract with NBC not to appear in television expires.

"In three months I've gone from network television to Twitter to performing live in theaters, and now I'm headed to basic cable," O'Brien said in a statement. "My plan is working perfectly." "Clash of the Titans" has regained its champion title at North American Box Office. A day after it was reported that "Date Night" could win at the chart since studio estimates claimed that it pulled in about $225,000 higher than the action drama, the true numbers have come out, stating otherwise.

According to Box Office Mojo, the final result released on Monday, April 12 mentions "Clash of the Titans" has grossed $26.6 million over its second weekend. Though it drops 56.5% in ticket sales, the movie is still named the winner at the chart with more than $1 million gap between its revenue and that of "Date Night".

Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos was "busted" by cops in Mexico over the weekend after he was caught drinking on the street. The singer was enjoying a night out with pals in Mexico City on Saturday, April 10, celebrating the conclusion of the band's Latin American tour.

Drake has debuted Anthony Mandler-directed music video in support of his new single "Over". He is sitting alone on the bed, rapping to the camera with time-lapsed highways projected across the walls and his face.

"It takes the song to another place," Drake told MTV about the clip. "It offers up a whole different look for the song. The song - to a lot of people - is ignorant, it's club.
